And it was true - friendly and helpful staff, clean place, fab food, beach and sea 👍🏻, animation for kids, daily sport schedules for active guests - just perfect!

Location close to the beach and Medulin city centre.

The Park Plaza Belvedere is near these landmarks: Banjole Beach, Valle dIstria/Bale, Medieval Theme Park Sanc.

There is also good access to the beach and sea.

The hotel has several pools, a private beach (at a rate if i recall), a hair salon, bars, exchange rate office and so on.

Pool area is nice and close to the beach.

We were visit Pula town is very close and recommend to visit Premantura beaches, Kamenjak national park.

We will definitely return next year :)

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, have tried the wonderful kayak tour (3 hours) with Ivan to the Ceja island and the amazong bike tour (35km) to discover the Premantura beautiful natures and beaches with Dario, absolutely enjoyed every minute of it.

The food served in the restaurant was a very poor standard.

Food was of a poor quality and repetitive.

We left without them and we saw several other people come into the bar and leave due to poor service.

Breakfast was unsurprisingly poor, no fresh juice, terrible coffee and being vegetarian, I discovered bacon dropped into the roasted vegetable dish and the staff using serving spoons across all the dishes.

Weather was glorious, I am a poor swimmer

But all other options were poor - and VERY salty!

The breakfast is especially poor, the coffee is not very nice and there is a very limited selection of fresh fruit.

but by day 5 we were close to saying we would eat out the food was getting so poor and unimaginatively repetitive.

Orange juice is of poor quality and would be nice to have milk jugs and tea pots for the table.

The evening entertainment is largely poor with a singer or small group providing music both in and outside.

The first two evening meals were very poor -  food was cold and I found lacking in choice.

no barrier or any means of stopping yourself from falling down and beyond that a car park hardly the  balcony park view we had booked  the poor fitting skirting board and the poorly fitted joints to the décor and the dust covered skirting board ( I cleaned some to show)made for a lousy experience ,children or elderly persons would have been in serious trouble if they had fallen in especially after the rain we had

but that was ok for us. food is great (try the pizza in the restaurant!)

Food is fantastic (probably there is an Italian chef :-) ), it's impossible you don't find something that you like.

The food was good with one exception - croissants tested as a few days old.

Breakfast and dinner were varied and delicious, especially the cakes.

Service is nice and helpful and food is very ok. Value for money is excellent

The hotel is very clear, the foods are really good and the restaurant balcon view is gorgeous.

Nice rooms, very good food also im vegeterian and there was still what to choose in breaksfast and in dinner,fishes or pasta that was great.

I can say three good things about this hotel: We were able to check in at 12:00, we got a free upgrade to a balcony room and there is alarge choice of plantbased milks at the breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location with lovely rooms.

Be observant that the "sea side" doesn't mean that you will have sea view if you choose family room (attached picture from the room terrace).

We recommend the see view rooms, especially in the 5th or 6th floor.

They even gave us a room bigger than the one we booked.

Room cleaners were good and cleaned room every day

I agree with other guests, the storage space in the rooms is very limited.

Rooms are tiny, shower base was broken, nothing to do in the evenings, a fair walk from anywhere too,  pula is 20 mins drive or 45 mins on bus.

The room is too small for family of 4 and costs more than 320EURO.

The rooms are quite small, especially not wide enough.

Friendly staff who really pay attention to the guests.

Primarily, the staff are the most unfriendly bunch that we have ever experienced in 26 years of travelling.

Since the reception you find very professional ladies and gentlemen that support you for every need in a extremely kind way.

Staff doesn‘t greet until you greet them first.

it should be a duty of the hotel to remove towels from chairs if they are not used for 1 or 2 hours.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the only con was the lack of cleanliness, which is expected by such a hotel; both my parents and their friends complained about it and said rooms often were not done by 4pm, towels missing and so on.

This hotel was heaving with people when we arrived and people were laying on towels everywhere 'literally' we was seriously thinking we had made a bad choice

though let down by broken umbrellas and small pool towels.

The towels in themselves were small and thread bare I had no choice

Sometimes  when we went to return towels , their wasn't anyone to return them  to , so had to help ourselves to cards .

however nearly impossible to get sun loungers as people put towels down early then disappear all day.

but the rest of the room was set for 2 people, classes, mugs, towels etc.

but I accept that I saw a number of guests wandering around looking for somewhere to sit when many beds lay empty with towels holding them for absent guests.

I would say at least a quarter of beds were 'reserved' with towels and not used all day.

Some people put towels down and don’t use them for hours.

People have towels out from 6/7am and don't even use their beds.

Only one incident of having a towel removed by a family wanting to have 5 together (and claiming innocence on how one of our hotel towel had been dumped on the other sunbed)

The majority of beds remained vacant all day, reserved only by a towel!

Pool area - doesn’t seem enough sun beds for the amount of ppl - lot of ppl lying on the grass with their towels.

Apparently you’re not allowed to put towels on beds to save

Wish the hotel would remove any towels from the sun loungers put on pre-breakfast as it was annoying!

Definitely recommended to book one with sea view.

You are on the beachfront which is a positive and close to

Our room had very stained carpets and limited space for clothes which spoilt an otherwise great room overlooking pools and sea , everything else is great.

The restaurant for breakfast had much better view for sure.

Entertainment provided by the hotel was better and cheaper than similar trips offered by the travel company and if your into cycling go on a mountain bike trip with Dario a great way of seeing parts of istria that you might not otherwise see.

but 10/15 mins walk to the pretty harbour with some lovely bars and restaurants if you want a change.

We did find a few drinks we liked, and the bar men were good on the whole.

Pool bar was housed in a shed where the attendant sat smoking, the use of glass rather than plastic drinking receptacles was common.

It was an open bar- if you could get to it.

The bar staff worked hard to fulfil the never ending number of drinks orders.

The salad bar was great, rest of the the was ok, plentiful and fresh.

The staff here are great, special thanks to Dorian, Tamara, Dario and Joseph and Jovan who work tirelessly in the bar and restaurant areas and always have a smile and will help you learn some useful Croation.

However, one of the bar staff was happy to make me a latte himself when I was stuck behind somebody for a particularly long time!

Would strongly recommend a walk to the old town and Blue the cocktail bar.

Medulin has a pretty little harbour and some bars and restaurants, was lovely to have a cocktail there at night.

Pool bar and main bar were available for the drinkers.

We really enjoyed this holiday and loved the nearby beach and bars.

Worth paying a bit more for the partial beach view in our opinion.

The outdoor pool terrace and sunbathing areas were good although could have been a little cleaner, the local beach was only a short walk away

The beach is not far from the hotel, then in another few minutes you're at the harbour.

The beach is not sandy it is basically slimey flat stones.when you go in the water.

Pula and Rovinj are definitely worth a visit and Medulin Harbour in the evenings has a lovely vibe.

The hotel is close to other restaurants if you wish to dine out, beach is a two minute walk away.

Beach closest to resort is pebbly- BUT- walk to the right for five minutes and you get the sandy beach!

There is a harbour 5 mins away with restaurants if you want.

Great bonus to be able to get beach towels everyday  for use on the sun beds.

Location - location is brilliant, right on the sea front and easy transport links to Pula, the port for Venice and many trips.

5 minute walk to beach and around 15 minutes walk to the harbour/marina.

We had thought about doing either the Venice or lake bled trips,

Free towels supplied every day from beach  hut .

Perfect location, close to all amenities and the coast line.

The hotel to us looked like a detention centre from the outside and a Premier Inn on the inside, which was ok, nice and clean.

Rooms were clean and comfortable with fridge, tea/coffee, hairdryer, robes and slippers and quality bath products topped up each morning.

WE paid extra for a pool and sea view, the room was bright, modern and very clean.

The rooms are clean, and all areas are clean.

but inside is better, The rooms and bathroom is very clean and the house staff very helpful.

The rooms are comfortable and clean and the pool area is gorgeous.

The pool drainage required a really good clean where hair and other debris had collected.

The rooms are spotless, as is the whole hotel.

The hotel was lovely and clean, the maids cleaned the room every day!

but they are kept very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel is immaculate and they offer a range of food which suits all dietary needs.

We had a wonderful time at the TUI Blue it was my 60th Birthday I had a wonderful Breakfast treat.The staff are amazing the hotel is very clean rooms are lovely.

Typical buffet food and to be fair, plenty of choice.

Food in the restaurant was ok for a week, don’t think we could have eaten it for any longer, pretty repetitive.

Buffet restaurant had an amazing selection for all 3 meals, quality and presentation.

The food at the hotel was great, always lots of variety, regularly refreshed and very tasty.

All the staff were so friendly ans helpful they couldn't do enough for you.The food was excellent with plenty of choice, i didn't get to the  al a carte as it was booked you have to book 24 hours before.

We always eat outside in the undercover area, perfect.

The food was good for a buffet and varied , one could have something different for 2 weeks.

The food was lovely, I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty of options.

The food is some of the best we have had for an all inclusive buffet style.

We weren’t blown away by the food, some themes were good, others were average, that said, we didn’t starve.

The food was the best we'd ever had at an AI, particularly the meat was always tender and tasty, the Beef Wellington was cooked to pink perfection.

Farm lunch was a definite highlight and I’m thrilled we got to experience it (even with allergies)

Plenty of choice of cocktails, wines etc.

Dinner is wrapped up in the restaurant waiting for you, very thankful for that!

The rooms were of a good size; as said in many other reviews, they need more storage!

An upgrade to pool view room gives the better virw, other wise you are over looking the car park.

We had emails from Patrica before we arrived dealing with our special requests as we wanted a bottle of fizz placed in our friends room.

This is where having the App is handy because as soon as room are ready a message is sent advising you to go to reception to collect your keys.

Just ask for a room high up- check everything works early- and look at reviews of the excursions before wasting time!

Room on top floor of a good standard, bed comfy and quite large car park view not the best.

We had a room on the 2nd floor looking out to sea and was very tranquil.

Rooms are on the small size with limited storage space

Be careful of hurting your shins on the corners of the bottom of the bed - because the room is so small you end up squeezing between the bottom of the bed and the dressing table and the corners of the bed are exposed and very sharp.

We had a room on the first floor that overlooked the gardens to the side of the hotel,  the rooms are small

but the room was quite small and it got very noisy.

Rooms are on the small side especially if staying for 2 weeks no drawers just two wardrobes with 6 hangers can request more though!
