It’s my first stay … it was different and amazing reception staff I have ever seen…the most wonderful check in and check out I ever got… clean and helpful housekeeping… Delicious Breakfast and Dinner… great location… the reception Employees was great specially Amjad and Hanan

Excellent breakfast and kitchen team engagement very well they pass around the food canapés and service team taking care very well.

Breakfast service is so Excellent and hostess Bayan doing her job well so welcoming and smily.

Close to Haram, very clean, breakfast buffet is amazing and full of Arabic and International options.

The breakfast choice being a buffet the selection was great.

Breakfast was one of the best we have seen at multiple hilton or conrad properties and had an extensive selection of foods and options from all over the world, my husband was in gourmet heaven and that in itself made the stay worthwhile.

The hotel is very nice and the breakfast is astounding!

and at resturant Imrans selfless service, Mustafas teauuuuMr Aslqm, Chef Mahmud Ahmed , food just delicious.

It was an excellent experience 😍👍 I enjoyed it, great welcoming and service, beautiful wide room, variety delicious breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection of different choices.. we did not find orange juice in one morning and the supervisor was keen on making sure we were pleased so he sent freshly squeezed orange juice to our room.

Yasser Ahmed from the executive lounge treated us with hospitality and kindness.

But the executive lounge can be improved.

The light dinner served in the executive lounge was also very good and provided a small range of good quality local and international dishes.

We were upgraded to a suite due to my HH status and granted access to the Executive Lounge.

but weren’t given access to executive lounge.

After 2 days of stay i met mr shokey and he informed me about executive lounge access .

Hayam from the executive lounge was fabulous,  our housekeeping gentleman Siddique was polite and ever so helpful and Ramadhan, our waiter at breakfast was so keen to be of assistance with a smiley face.

Hayam from the executive lounge was very friendly and professional, Noor Hussein in the restaurant did a great job of keeping us supplied with Cappuccino and Karak chai, he was an excellent host and our housekeeping guy, Mohamed Younus was polite and ever so helpful .

All needs and wants was taken care off.glad to see separate place Hilton diamond and gold members at breakfast.check in was smooth and quick.the room was to our expectations.the new executive lounge is comfortable and has a beautiful view of haram.

The restaurants and the Executive lounge were just awesome.

I am a Gold member and I usually get free breakfast, so in Ramdan that changes to suhoor, so Conrad, in a clever way, they put all Gold & Diamond members in the Executive lounge from Iftar time till midnight.

Staffs are friendly the executive lounge is Amazing.

The hotel has a executive lounge and international restaurant provide lunch and dinner with very discounted rate.

We also had access to the executive lounge throughout our stay - drinks and snacks were tasty and the environment was relaxing - also enjoyed the massage chairs on offer!

V untrained staff poor services no management to resolve guests problems I didn’t feel comfortable in beautiful building because of bed services and staff I feel not good with family I spent last year 180 nights in hilton

but they tried their best to solve it, yet it’s poor maintenance.

I’m really sad about the management poor communication and they really don't care about customer satisfaction from check in note which they ignore after multiple people assuring me that it's was eassy to do and to the breakfast which they Denied entery after someone used our room number.

Anyway, besides the extremely poor lounge, everything else was fantastic.

it seemed they have the faintest idea about the hotel regulations and started to say conflicted points of view which gave me a very poor impression about there management.

This visit was really bad starting by staying long for check in, while waiting u find restaurant rep promoting for food offer like u r in street.. lunch was very poor with cold stuff & over-spices dishes which is not up to Conrad standards, gym now needs access activiation and it is missing towels :(

other than this, room is nice & clean

One can clearly see that the hotel has aged atleast 3-4 years in 1 year due to the poor housekeeping.

Some areas of wear and poor maintenance Can be clearly visible !

The employee asked how I was and I explained that I only stay in Hilton Hotels around the world and was sad to see the poor service there.

The executive lounge is a bit poor and has a very small variety compared to other hotel executive lounges.

we came for our umrah and location wise we could not have chosen better, the haram mosque is very near

Fantastic restaurant, everything is fine, the staff of chefs, caretakers, supervisors, waiters and everything, I would like to thank Mr. Tarek Habib, Nasser Fawzy, Rasheed Mahmoud and Chef Shaaban, they are amazing, special and very professional, I would like to repeat this experience as soon as possible, thank you  For your attention to detail, thanks for everything.

Regarding the dinner, chef Shaaban is always surprising us with variations and great presentations of his unique dishes.

Everything went smooth starting from Check in until check out, thanks to all the team working in reception, housekeeping and the restaurant for their politeness and welcoming.

Our stay here at the Conrad was beautiful , the beds and the room comfortable and spacious.

The front desk, the location, the spaciousness of the rooms and the attention to detail that went into the design of the rooms.

There were flies and mosquito in my room upon checked in

I booked a connecting room, some of the cards didn’t work sadly even though I contacted the lobby

Meeting room, organization, welcoming, and dinner.. the staff was very friendly, dedicated, and helpful.

The room was specious and had a good partial view of the Haram

And room cleaner as I was at 1204 number available.

Excellent and spacious hotel rooms, high quality furniture, very friendly and customer focused staff.

The rooms are one of the largest in Makkah.

The hotel also has a prayer room connected to the haram, where you can join the congregational prayers, which came in handy as access to the haram was restricted by a permit system.

The proximity of the hotel to alharam is perfect.. rooms are spacious, clean and very well decorated.

Service in the restaurant was very intimate as if we had our own

Conrads rarely disappoint and we were glad to find that this property didn't break that particular mould.

However, the hotel seems overused for a new hotel and maintenance is poor, our room was not that clean & smelly, which made us unhappy

Hotel should work on cleanliness of toilets and  plumbing line as they have minor smell in toilet.

Otherwise it would been touching the floor which is nasty and wet by using spray.

We had a slight drainage issue which they got sorted immediately and it wasn't even their area to help.

One more issue is as drainage/ bathrooms smell in  room’s toilets may be some construction fault.

From the distinct fragrance used throughout the hotel to the Quran playing during the day, Conrad does everything to amplify a feeling of religiosity (sounds odd to say,

but found that the bathroom had cigarette smell, so I asked Yasser to change the room in which he did and I was moved to room 106.

My room was not even ready at 6 pm and once I got it in there was strong pesticide smell inside the room which gave me severe breathing difficulty and asthmatic attacks.

We also found out that commode was leaking with filthy water around it.

though need to cross about few steps to reach Haram Piaza, may be difficult for elderly or people having breathing difficulty

And since I have a strong sense of smell, the corridor took it all by its smell.

The second valid complaint is the sewage smell.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and had amazing views of the Masjid Al Haraam.

The hotel is well equipped staff are amazing and rooms are very spacious.

Very convenient location close by holly mosque, the spacious room, staff were helpful and professional, facilities great, excellent service and selection of food.

Anyways overall the hotel is excellent,  nice , clean having spacious room,  good breakfast

convenience and comfort were high priorities and this was very evident from our experience.

It was a decent experience the place was clean if I’m gonna be honest, one of the cons were is the room took very long to clean, I arrived at the hotel at about 1:00pm check in is at 4:00pm.

Location is centre with two sets of lifts to room, may need to be calm about the speed of lift due to its height.

We came and we didnt get the room we asked for it was taken and then the breakfast gave our family diarrhea and the elevators stop each floor

although the number of guests were increased and there were 6 elevators only 3 in action.

Nothing went smoothly during my visit starting from reaching hotel, check in, elevators crowded, calling to ask for service or cleaning, difficulty to find a seat during Iftar time, it took almost 90 minutes to get my luggage down, it's  so difficult to find transportation when you leave the hotel with price variation

Elevator so boring and take long time .Using multi elv to reach GF or B.

No screens inside the elevators working, and the elevators were not clean.

even though we were lost couple of times in the tower searching for the hotel as the signs weren't clear on which elevator we should use to get up to the hotel.

Waiting time on the lifts were extremely disappointing.

I have had a good experience overall except only one of your staff asked me not to use the elevator with him, the reason was to make social distancing.

but limited

  Negatives:
  Check-in was too late for about half an hour
  Late checkout too
  Elevators are very slow and lavi
  Some of his morals reception staff is unpleasant
  You have a center for inquiries and inquiries.

Only negative was the lifts and getting a driver to pick you up from hotel due to their location.

The elevators were kind of broken here and there and stopped working sometimes or were slow

The only recommendation I would make is that you ask for a lower floor as it’s difficult to navigate around the lifts that can sometimes be a little slow.

On Friday Prayer all elevators were too busy or out of order.

I had a bad sleeping  experience because of poor quality mattress and pillows 
The elevator is crowded and some of them are out of service 
People are not using their masks all the time specially in the elevator

We stayed with family for umro and found out this hotel  is one of the best amongst makkah clock royal tower.

This is my second stay at Fairmont gold and it was very nice the staff are so friendly and the place is always clean and i will be back again and I’ll stay in same hotel in the future and i have recommended the hotel to all my family and friends.

Service very satisfiying, food very suitable with indonesian taste, over all i really enjoy staying in fairmont royal clock tower Makkah, i’ll recommended to my friend and my family to stay in Fairmont when they visit Makkah

He was born and raised in Makkah and treated us very much like family.

Everything was good specially the service, lounge very nice to sit and relaxed with family.

but there are assumptions that should not be waived in any hotel, including the daily cleaning of the rooms, the internet coverage inside the rooms where only the mobile works, and if you have a laptop, it will not connect to the internet in any way.

The only thing i was not glad is the room they give me connected room and the people in the next room were nosiy and tried to call the reception many times with no answer 
This is my 2nd stay in this hotel.

however the check out process was tedious we waited at least 30m before our luggage was brought down despite several calls and personally going to reception.We were even told that the luggage was already taken although we were waiting in the room with our luggage.

For a 5 star hotel I would have at least expected an apology, and for the in room dining service to call me when they realised the error.

the check in was taking 10 hr

I was bombarded with calls at the room then my mobile with a threatening tone of " you have to check out at noon, or we will charge you $600" .

What is the benefits of putting a phone in a room if no one will answer!!

The managers wouldn't pick up my calls and I was waiting till 4/5am in the morning for a response back.

however when we came back from the Umrah late night the room was so cold i had to wear a sweater to sleep in the morning asked for service on the AC and the guy says why didnt you call in the night at 3am ?

, Then after I called the reservation on phone they told me that there are available rooms !!

I got my token number (23) and by then they were at number (10). My wife calls me 5mins later and says "it looks like the previous guests left the room just 5mins ago because nothing was cleaned or sanitized."

but the man would not hang up and kept calling (3 times).

I did not understand why the hotel required me to call to get dental kit .

And the house keeping limited giving each room to 2 adaptors only; so imagine guests having 2 smart mobiles, iPads, laptops, how would they manage with 2 adaptors?

Long delays at check-in, over an hour (and a few phone calls) to have the luggage delivered to the room, no housekeeping at all, despite several requests (and the unfailing reply from the ineffable operator ‘they are on their way’).

We lost a mobile phone during the trip and when we called to enquire we never got a call back.

Food for Indonesian is very good, especially the bakso :).

Moreover we also enjoyed the variety of foods in the restaurant.

Riyas Hussain at the breakfast restaurant made this experiance spectacular at breakfast.

I was pleased with delicious food and drinks.

The food is delicious and has many variants, and you can feel the luxury ambiance on the hotel.

Had a great experience with quite and lovely staff , they have a delicious breakfast too , with alharam view it’s a great location near to restaurants and shopping centers and as well as king abdulaziz gate

The restaurant is very clean and the food is so delicious .

Everything is perfect at the hotel specially the service of Mr Riyas hussain from M3 restaurants.

Meals arrangment is reasonable especially if you took up fairmont gold offer.

The food (especially the Briyani and Indonesian food) is excellent!
