It’s quite cheap to eat out so we can’t moan too much.

but easy, cheap and quick enough to get around.

Luckily eating out in Turkey is so cheap.

Went out to eat 2 nights and for breakfat on our last day- very cheap, and surrounding areas and all restaurants and shops visited were very clean.

but you get what you pay for I suppose and eating out in Turkey is so cheap!

- There is a kids pool with little slides etc which i really good

Very friendly staff, entertainment all throughout the day and despite being on a hill, transport links were relatively cheap and reliable.

but its about 45 minutes from hotel walking, bus there is cheap though and goes from basically outside hotel.

however if you go down to Cettia apartments the small shop there is very cheap and run by a lovely couple!

DeLboy Market Marmaris is amazing anything you want he will get you great with kids also and very cheap.

but the Turkish bath etc I had in the Buddha spa in hotel was amazing and worth every penny so professional you pay for what you get 🤷🏻‍♀️ go cheap you get cheap I’ve heard so many bad things about going outside since so I don’t think it’s worth risking.😁

They also served chicken nuggets and chips which were cheap crap even my 4 year old wouldnt eat them.

however good in Turkey is cheap so I would definitely recommend SC if staying here.

but great for pictures ancient ruins etc

get yourselves down the road to Sarah's bar, choice between an English or Scottish option and cheap enough as most things in Turkey are at the minute.

Do make use of the spa facilities and have a Turkish Bath experience at the hotel is very cheap.

This was a lovely hotel, staff were always friendly & always willing to help where & when they could.

I have been coming here for the past few years and it never fails to disappoint.We love coming here on our family holiday.Very friendly staff.Everytime  we come we always use the hairdressers here it very good price for whatever you have done and the staff are amazing.Jac is back at the hairdressers.

From the moment of arrival all staff were so friendly.

The men in our party played table football each night with Jack and the Tattoo master Sergio who is also a lovely friendly guy.

The hotel is nice and clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

We found the hotel to a lovely clean hotel, with all the staff very friendly and more than happy to help.

Jerry, Barney, Ragnar & Eddie made the experience one to remember, they were very friendly and polite… provided great entertainment!

The dining area and outside area Staff are amazing, they smile, they clean, they are the same faces everyday and greeted with hellos, the gentleman who i think overseas the dining area is amazing friendly gentleman.

The staff are all friendly and the entertainment at night is better than any hotel ive stayed in.

Jack is really friendly we had a great experience getting mine and my daughters feet done, great prices and lots of treatments 

Hotel has been great for my daughter so much to do and the whole staff from cleaners to restaurant staff have been so friendly

They were all brilliant and very friendly.

Special mention also for Ercan, at the jewellers, very friendly and chatty, always had a smile and kind word.

Turkish night was my favourite, food was amazing.

I came to grand cettia with my children and partner in September fab hotel Deffinatly reccomend  jack the hairdresser was great did my mums hair extensions fab we went to the spa for the family package which was also great the hotel was very clean food was ok lots of activities going on overall great hotel

Hairdresser was great for my daughter/son and wife Jack was great from start to finish if you are in the hotel defo use them they are great,

Very good price and Jack was very good with my kids, haircuts and Braids were cheap so don't go outside the hotel for this sort of stuff you don't know what your getting,

Spa was also great and cheap we went for 2 massages, fish eating feet and facials really good prices and nice people

however they’d occasionally cook up a really delicious meal.

Just back from a holiday here only all inclusive we would use in Marmaris Great staff all of them can’t fault any of them can’t do enough for you entertainment good for kids and grownups and the food can’t fault it always something there to eat even for fussy eaters and plenty of it.

We’ve had 10 nights here at the hotel and it’s been amassing food pool everything,, also taken both my children to the hotel hairdresser and they’ve done a brilliant job thankyou to jack

Food there was always something on the menu we could eat, kids the same, always fish fingers, chicken nuggets, pasta or fries.

The food in the hotel is top quality and plentiful, big thanks to Sedat the omelette man who filled our bellies each mornings.

I wasn’t personally a fan of the vodka or the cocktails

but was still absolutely fine the entertainment team try and get everyone involved, Barney is bonkers a born entertainer.

Hairdresser Jack made my hair look amazing very kind staff couldn’t recommend more.

The staff cordoned it off fast and dealt with it, 

The only good staff member which made our holiday better was Marco the spa rep, he was so welcoming to us which made our stay feel more comfortable.

The fact that the hotel is lovely doesn’t make up for the fact that the staff are thieves!!

My son did enjoy the kids club run by TUI staff.

Do not trust their conning tactics and know that you WILL get the same treatments for a much cheaper price if you negotiate with one of the guys outside in the excursion stands.

The entertainment team were very fun and good with the children.

Eddie the entertainment manager is really helpful, and any questions we had, he helped us!

Entertainment team are very welcoming and know when to not to hassle you if you don’t wish to take part.

We notified the TUI rep and it was changed

Special mention for the entertainment staff who are excellent.

Highly recommend going down, there not pushy and don’t make you buy anything which was great we could just get what we wanted when we wanted without being pestered constantly.

Just be aware there is an incline when walking back to the hotel.

We walked out of this place very very upset especially with me being pregnant I just felt very demoralised that this could happen to us and above all, the reaction of the staff!!!

Beach front is a short walk, as are many bars that offer music and entertainment if you do fancy abit of a change.

But the walk is on the flat generally, maybe you could say there is a slight incline of the way back (apart from the short driveway up to the hotel).

Marco would walk by and say "ooo romantic couple" 😂 they would make us Turkish Tea and coffee and bring it out to the seating area.

Next day we are out all day and I says to my husband walking back this room better have been cleaned today.

Hotel is in a lovely quieter part of marmaris which suited us fine, taxi into the centre is £2-3 or you can walk.

Manger is always around walking and  talking to guests.

Either walk (10-15mins to City/Beachfront), Taxi (5-10mins to the Marina old Town/Castle - 60lira ask reception) or by Bus (Dolmus from main road).

The beach is only a 15/20 walk away down to the marina

Take the 2 min walk to Del Boys on the main road.

Cant really find anything wrong Good pool Food ok dont expect anything special You wont go hungry Slight hill to walk up Try Del Boys and Batman for your trips Sarahs at bottom of hill is good for food  Short taxis ride down to Bazar harbour etc they all stop outside

Otherwise you could walk or get a taxi for less than £3 which the reception staff will book for you.

Hotel is situated on a incline I found It easy walking down to the shops and bars and getting a taxi back which is very Cheap.I would like to say a special thanks to Jack.

The manager lady was always about and always made herself available for guest to talk to her and she was always walking around speaking and greating guest everyday.

A short walk led to the local shops and slightly further afield the main shopping areas were easily accessible.

Yes it is very busy and sunbed situation can be an issue

The bars and fod areas at times seemed a little understaffed and the evening buffet restaurant got ridiculously busy at times and people were almost fighting for seating.

The restaurant is busy (August so expected) and sometimes we did have to wait for a table.

Fat too packed., The amount of bruises I had from being kicked in there as too busy.

It can get a little busy at the drinks areas as service can be slow and easily run out of glasses and ice.

but pointless

Restaurant and bars- 1 restaurant when booking says 2 but only 1 and it’s all out feeding time at zoo buffet style don’t get me wrong the food is good for all inclusive and the workers do well with what they are given to deal with but the people are mostly rude and the restaurant is far to busy (night time mainly) and you’re not shown to a table it’s a case of being on look out for someone leaving so far to stressful.

Yes, the hotel is busy and things get spilt.

Sunbeds - when we visited the hotel was very busy, maybe near capacity.

We knew it was gonna be busy, there isn't enough sunbeds for everyone granted.

Pool- its ridiculously busy you cant move around it in, no life guards, your allowed massive inflatables in meaning even less space and most parents aren't supervising their children its pure carnage.

The hotel is busy due to it being the height of the season.

Yes it's a busy hotel and a bit rowdy so if you are looking for peace and quiet I would honestly look elsewhere.

However, we did come in peak holiday season, it was always going to be busy - and some people liked to reserve additional sunbeds for their towels, which also could've alleviated the problem, somewhat.

The pools are so busy and chaotic you cannot move freely without being bashed by an inflatable, jumped on or hit by a ball.

Mid way through our holiday we did notice it started getting very busy in the hotel and they could improve a few things, more staff on the bar as the majority of the time there was only one member of staff serving.

although a bit repetitive after 11 days, I must give a huge shout out to Oktay in the restaurant who was so attentive, The hotel staff where very friendly and made the hotel stay a joy, a massive shout out to the YOLO team especially Poppy and Jay whom my 7 year old grandson loved,.

All the YOLO team were super friendly and chatted away when they had the time.

Hotel is amazing staff so friendly room clean everyday always cleaning round the pool been twice this month and defo will be bk 100% yolo team are fantastic and friendly best wee team ever lot of food choices available aswell see use next year

Hotel was very clean and tidy and all staff were hard working and friendly .waiters were a good laugh.

The Entertainment Team are fantastic Poppy is excellent at his job he kept us entertained really friendly good with children & adults and so funny 😂 Jay was so friendly and lovely made sure that all my friends were ok while we stayed at the hotel.

Jay, curly and Amy were our stand out favourites they were so friendly always went out their way to make sure we were having fun and entertained, very friendly, kind hearted and amazing personality’s.

Nothing is ever any trouble for him and he goes above and beyond for the guests and is always so friendly and funny!

Which is pretty poor to say there guests were all English.

but it’s more like a poor 3, i can only describe it as a Jaywick caravan park feel.

Breakfast is the worst part as there is a poor selection.

Pool tables were poor, and the cues had no tips.

Its £25 per device per week in the room, I wouldn't mind if if actually worked, it hardly worked at all and when I complained about this at the reception the knew it was poor

Always something for the fussiest of eaters ….. drinks need to be improved at breakfast time as for someone who doesn’t drink tea and coffee the drinks are poor, breakfast should definitely include fresh orange.

but complete waste of money as it is really poor and keeps dropping out.

You can pay for the better one which is just as poor, i would suggest buying a data package for your phone or getting a wifi box from the shop over the road for £50 / 2 weeks / £80gb 

People / fellow holiday makers, all of the ones wmthat we spoke to were lovely & friendly.

Overall the hotel is very poor and over compensated.

The rooms are tiny, poor & noisy air con & were filthy & tired.

When we arrived people were arguing with the reception staff due to poor quality rooms.

but very poor management that try to squeeze money out of you from day 1

Far too hot for us at this time of year especially with poor air con in resturant and seated areas.

The free WiFi in areas was poor and very slow (probably due to all the people).

When he called his 'solders' to arms, they came running with their water pistols/water nerf guns etc ready to shoot some poor, unexpected 'victim'.

Lower class clientele and rooms very poor.

No sun beds available and food was really poor quality.

Despite tipping the maid in the first week and having every intention of tipping at the end of the second, we were harassed for the last 2 day of our holiday by the maid banging on the door, pushing notes through the door and all despite the do not disturb sign being on the door, on the pretence that she needed to give us something when clearly all she was looking for was a tip.

With sloaping ceilings so I knew straight away we were gonna face some head banging against them.

twin room ..our balcony over looking massive generator  / all broken sunbeds/ umbrellas/ other stuff have put photo up .

Still waiting for Jet 2 to get back to me 🤷🏻

The music in the pool area is very noisy during games times

It's a shame the Management and Tour Operators (Easy Jet + Jet2 etc) over sold during my visit here.

Its certainly not a hotel for a quiet holiday

AC units are very old and make a noise (move your Bed nearer)
Sunbeds - $¥€% this is the worst thing - too many people not enough beds you have to get up before 6am to guarantee one.

We got sorted for the evening meal and was very shocked to see not a great selection of food, which is on every night for tea time, we ate what little we could and decided to have an early night… to which we were all awakened by kids screaming as the run down the corridor banging on all the doors as they pass, parents shouting at there kids and arguing with there partners.

Other points that bugged me where

Fresh orange at breakfast 20 lira a glass
The constant pestering by the pool from the hair dresser and spa sales reps(it is constant at least 2-3 times a day)
Selling of football cards and open the box £5 a go again it’s every day and constant.

Nothing could have prepared us for this horrendous place!

The noise levels of a night were sometimes off the scale- slamming doors, people running round, couples scrapping/arguing loudly yet there’s no security to keep things in check.

Up at 7am every day to get a sunbed, which turned out not to be an issue as the Mosque is directly across the road & we were woken at precisely 4.40am every morning with prayer calls!!!

The walls in room are paper thin so can hear everyone walking up and down corridor and the beds are rock hard .

Hotel right by mosque, so be prepared to be woken by 05.30am every day, it will drive you crazy, as it happens 5 times a day,

I would have given 4 stars if No loud noise till 11:30 .

Sleeping wise wasn’t great as you could hear the entertainment & music it was so loud.

but didn't matter much as only in the room to sleep and get a shower always plenty to do and the entertainment team are great poppy is a real gentle man couldn't do enough for u

When arrived night manager very rude shouting at other guest, got put into a room that we didn't pay for , very small  no sheet, next to lift couldn't sleep all night, asked reception to be moved told to come back in morning.

Sunbeds are SHOCKING, people will sleep on these all morning in order to keep one for the day granted the manager will remove any towels that didnt have someone on it at 07:45 so you would see his little minion literally covered in towels.

The bad points
• No Sun beds - people bring their towels down at 2am  and sleep around the pool.

but small as it had 1 bedroom and the main room had 2 single beds placed into it and no aircon so very uncomfortable for our two kids who slept in it.

The cons of this holiday are too many guests!, if it was a little quieter then you wouldn't have to get up at 4am and sleep on your sun loungers, which really ruins your holiday!

Get down, put towels on beds, back to bed for a couple of hours and the alarm woke me again at 7.30 to get back to the beds before the towel man came to swipe them.

but clean, we had the air con pointing directly at the bed which isn't ideal having cold air in your face while sleeping.

but all we used room for was sleeping and somewhere to get showered and dressed.

The absolute worst ive seen 😫 Same people putting towels down from 1am and sleeping on the loungers absolute ridiculous most beds gone by 6 ,the pool guy does go round and move towels at 745 if beds arenot occupied.

Not ideal having the kids sleeping in the main area with no air con and where the entrance door to the room was.

There are no pool towels, also expected at a 4*hotel, this was noted when you looked out at 6am to find EVERY sunbed already had a personal town on it, chairs were also in short supply, you would need to sleep outside to ensure a bed especially near a pool, 4 pools including children's massively overcrowded, and close to each other.

I saw 1 woman put out 6 towels just after midnight and folk who basically continued their sleep outside at 5am.

but the hotel it’s self wasn’t very clean there was plates and cups left in the main corridors for 2 or 3 days before been moved, someone spat all inside one of the elevators and that was there for a few days, the hotel was extremely overcrowded as everyday to get a sun lounger you had to be up around 5am and sleep on them and whiteness grown adults brawl for them with each other.

but we were really just in there to sleep, bath and get ready.

but they remove your towels if you don’t sleep outside on the sun bed!!!

There was a small double bed and a camp bed pushed alongside it for my daughter to sleep in.

There was a cot sized alcove that the hotel expected my 12 year old to sleep in!

Where do I start checked in room small out dated dirty the bed is like laying on a concrete floor and the corridor carpet smell like cat piss lots of stains.

Room was on small side (and we did upgrade the room before we went)

The rooms are way too small for a family of four.

The room was very small no space to monovour whatsoever.

but only 2 work we tired to book most evening but were fully booked)
Rooms- the rooms are small and tired we must have been put in the older part of the hotel and you could really tell.

Double Room small, balcony tiny and roasting because of air con unit.

After being handed a very small room upon arrival, really not suitable for a family of 4, we paid extra to upgrade to a junior suite.

Where do I start me and my family of 7 (3 adults 4 kids) arrived july 14 for 12 nights, the hotel rooms could do with updating very small rooms

They are then taken to a small room and dumped on the floor where you have to sort through them to find your towel.

We arrived at 2:30am to be given a tiny room with only three beds in (we are a family of 4: 2 adults, and 2 teenage children).

Football cards £5
Open the box £5

A complete joke and a rip off this shabby old fashioned hotel, its tired, dark and has very small rooms, like a prison cell.

The room was a bit on the small size and were offered to upgrade on the price of £35 a day which I thought was a bit steep!!

The room we were given was tiny and apparently they had no alternative rooms left unliess we upgraded and paid £300.

The hotel and food was amazing the staff couldn’t do enough for us .

The entertainment team during the day made the holiday, Omar being the main man, and shout out to Poppy and Jay who keep the guests going with games and sitting having a laugh with all the guests

but entertainment still very good restaurant staff reception staff and management fantastic housekeeping brilliant we just love this hotel sooo much see you all in may 😎

Most nights the entertainment team ran a game of bingo.

The Entertainment team at the Julian Club are amazing!!

Great staff, always interacting with the kids, good food choices, different entertainment each night.

He is an asset to the team and both of my children have taken a shine to him.

We arrived late and was greeted at reception and was given all our information and was escorted to our room by a very nice chap.

wonderful rep, can’t do enough for our family of 30, we know we can rely on him for any information and he will do the best he can to make sure his guests are happy, nothing was ever too much, he is a credit to the julian club hotel team poppy!
