The restaurant is very busy and queues are long which means food gets cold .

however the food is terrible and we had to eat out every evening, it is cold , bland and Inedible, so budget for meals out.

Meals are terrible and cold need to chase waiters for cutlery which most of the time are still dirty.

Food: hot food generally cold (especially the baked beans at breakfast), meat limited to chicken and lamb, sweets ridiculously sugary with no taste, no sugar-free drinks, cocktails all the same with a dash of blue or red and the queues horrendous  with idiots refusing to wear masks breathing down your neck
Pool: can't complain at the size

But was always clean and had a cold bottle of water on each table.

The hotel obviously caters for the continental market which I didn't have a problem with as I thought I'd find something to eat unfortunately when I did the scrambled eggs were always cold as were the beans They made fresh omelette

She was clearly upset and I touched the Lasagne IT WAS STONE COLD!!!!

So we had the doors closed anf air con on at night, it caused me a full blown cold which made sleeping at night even worse.

the food was repetitive and cold at times with many people complaining and using the microwave to heat their food.

The only fault i found was the food it was always cold some of it wasnt cooked properly.i would recommend this hotel

The bad thing is all the food is cold even if you got there as soon as they open, how the hotel can justify serving guests stone cold food every day is beyond me!

The food was cold and always the same and very often left uncovered by the lazy people who didn't pull back the lids.. My partner and i started eating out so we at least had a good meal once a day
   The good thing is that the rooms were always cleaned and tidy..always towels and loo rolls in all toilets.

Temperature of food was not hot and if you queued for one item and then queued for another the food was barely tepid by the time you got back to your table.

Queues can be extremely long throughout all meal times so in the end we tended to eat out mostly because it simply wasn't worth the hassle.

They need to spend more money on food choice we eat out do not to avoid the stress of long ques and repetitive food.

When we were here is September the hotel had more French and Dutch, and Russian guest who have no manners at all and don't understand the queuing system, which did spoil our holiday.

Yes it was busy and some people don`t understand the concept of queuing,

but it has never been this bad, 2nd night we were here we queued up for food and a guy who couldn't understand English when we told him there was a queue  he kept pushing us and he went to headbut (I'm not joking) my fiancee yes people a full grown man.

As I write this I’m still here on holiday , firstly paid extra £50 for sea views and got car park , sorted room out the next day , secondly and the most important it’s a stampede for food , at 7-30 , we have stayed in all inclusive before in Turkey and never experienced this , the food is poor , everything deep fried and just warm , only eat evening meal once had to go out for meals , my sons fiancé was queuing for food and man pushed her out of the way trying to push in , she told him to join the queue to which he got very aggressive and tryed to head

but I have never met people so rude in all my life, one older lady actually took the serving spoon out of my 22 year old daughters hand, other occasions they barged in and didn't wait in the long queue.

Despite the WiFi being pants I'm looking forward to returning 😊 out of season of course because queues and sunbed issues are non exsistant at this time.

We were left waiting at the bar while they spoke on their phones or to German/Russian guests and were then met with abruptness after they had finished their conversations.

but the queue was too long to stand in, food was a bit cold on the snack bar so we preferred main restaurant.

The reason the waiting time was that greedy people were asking for multiple crepes, and getting crepes for the whole family.

Stayed at the hotel brilliant place to stay food excellent entertainment excellent rooms clean and spacious our room was 362 view of the pool and sea plenty of sun beds and they provide towels with a card only thing I would say is more cupboard space to put things.

Is best quality, room clean 10/6 its okay.

WORD OF WARNING - The water sport facility close to hotel is dangerous to say the least.

Would recommend this hotel for families with children 100% the only problem we had was our towels being removed from our beds one morning by guest relations all because we weren't sat on them at 11am.

There are signs in the hotel that sunbeds with towels on that are not used for 2 hours will be removed, this

Rumour was staff had been given notice due to thomas cook customers no longer attending.

Another really disappointing factor about this hotel and I suppose it's a sign of the times is the only free WiFi in the hotel is in the lobby and with everyone using it the connection is terrible.

They could have at least send a warning letter or ask them for an apology.

I placed a review on here while I was still in resort only to be approached by a member of staff asking me to remove it !

The ruling at the hotel is if towels are left on seats for one hour you can remove them, clearly this is not forthcoming.

Please don't take any notice of people complaining about the food there's lots of variety and choice and something to suit everyone.

One thing that may seem petty to others which I did notice was the table tennis table at one end of pool was open

Getting a sunbed is a massive issue, despite there being signs saying no reserving beds before 8.00am this clearly not the case and beds are taken up well before then.

but we actually spent most of the week on the private beach at the front of the hotel which has a security guard on patrol all day preventing anyone apart from hotel guests using the sunbeds .

Despite notices advising not to reserve beds, after 8 am you have no chance.

Which signs noted if you put towels down before 8 they will be removed, rule broken everyday by everyone!

even though it says in reception towels and belongings removed after ONE HOUR if not used. .

Getting a sunbed is the most fustrating part as they are covered with towels by 8am, they so say that they will be removed if no one has been using them for over an hour

The sunbed situation was bad there was a sign to say if you left your sunbed for one hour unattended the towel would be taken off and give to someone else.

Although there are signs not to take beds if you are not there, this is ignored and some are kept all day with a towel on.

It’s quite cheap to eat out so we can’t moan too much.

but easy, cheap and quick enough to get around.

Luckily eating out in Turkey is so cheap.

Went out to eat 2 nights and for breakfat on our last day- very cheap, and surrounding areas and all restaurants and shops visited were very clean.

but you get what you pay for I suppose and eating out in Turkey is so cheap!

Very friendly staff, entertainment all throughout the day and despite being on a hill, transport links were relatively cheap and reliable.

but its about 45 minutes from hotel walking, bus there is cheap though and goes from basically outside hotel.

however if you go down to Cettia apartments the small shop there is very cheap and run by a lovely couple!

DeLboy Market Marmaris is amazing anything you want he will get you great with kids also and very cheap.

but the Turkish bath etc I had in the Buddha spa in hotel was amazing and worth every penny so professional you pay for what you get 🤷🏻‍♀️ go cheap you get cheap I’ve heard so many bad things about going outside since so I don’t think it’s worth risking.😁

They also served chicken nuggets and chips which were cheap crap even my 4 year old wouldnt eat them.

however good in Turkey is cheap so I would definitely recommend SC if staying here.

get yourselves down the road to Sarah's bar, choice between an English or Scottish option and cheap enough as most things in Turkey are at the minute.

Do make use of the spa facilities and have a Turkish Bath experience at the hotel is very cheap.

Restaurant staff are great always a smile and something for everyone.

Adnan made sure he gave the kids a high 5 everyday at breakfast, lunch and dinner with a cheeky smile.

I came to grand cettia with my children and partner in September fab hotel Deffinatly reccomend  jack the hairdresser was great did my mums hair extensions fab we went to the spa for the family package which was also great the hotel was very clean food was ok lots of activities going on overall great hotel

Hairdresser was great for my daughter/son and wife Jack was great from start to finish if you are in the hotel defo use them they are great,

Very good price and Jack was very good with my kids, haircuts and Braids were cheap so don't go outside the hotel for this sort of stuff you don't know what your getting,

Spa was also great and cheap we went for 2 massages, fish eating feet and facials really good prices and nice people

however they’d occasionally cook up a really delicious meal.

Just back from a holiday here only all inclusive we would use in Marmaris Great staff all of them can’t fault any of them can’t do enough for you entertainment good for kids and grownups and the food can’t fault it always something there to eat even for fussy eaters and plenty of it.

We’ve had 10 nights here at the hotel and it’s been amassing food pool everything,, also taken both my children to the hotel hairdresser and they’ve done a brilliant job thankyou to jack

The food in the hotel is top quality and plentiful, big thanks to Sedat the omelette man who filled our bellies each mornings.

Cleaners visited daily and kept the room spotless, and unlike other reviews we had nothing stored despite leaving iPads, Apple watches and iPhones all on display every day.p
Food- over the 14 day stay there was only 1 night I didn’t really like the look of anything.

Serval people staying at the hotel told us to not let the cleaners clean our room as things were being stolen from rooms, so that made us uneasy about letting the staff clean our room as we have valuables with us that they mentioned being taken.

The rooms were all clean, no issue, the cleaner came in and made beds every day, we got fresh toilets rolls and towels while we were there.

We are really not fussy people and said as long as the room is clean and pool decent we would be happy.

The stay was great, room was clean, staff were lovely Jerry, Eddie, Barney and Ragnar were fantastic and very welcoming!

We tipped the cleaner and our room was kept clean.

Rooms were clean and towels changed when left in bath and toilet rolls replenished frequently.

Room's are clean and tastefully decorated, our bags were brought to our room.

The rooms are clean and if there’s any problems management are on hand straight away without fail.

The room was kept tidy for us everyday with fresh towels.

Lovely  clean  rooms,  amazing people,  great  food  and  facilities, friendly  atmosphere, toilets  around hotel were clean and modern(indoor  swimming  pool  wasn't  heated  in April , shame  and  gym  dated)

Just be aware there is an incline when walking back to the hotel.

We walked out of this place very very upset especially with me being pregnant I just felt very demoralised that this could happen to us and above all, the reaction of the staff!!!

Beach front is a short walk, as are many bars that offer music and entertainment if you do fancy abit of a change.

But the walk is on the flat generally, maybe you could say there is a slight incline of the way back (apart from the short driveway up to the hotel).

Marco would walk by and say "ooo romantic couple" 😂 they would make us Turkish Tea and coffee and bring it out to the seating area.

Next day we are out all day and I says to my husband walking back this room better have been cleaned today.

Hotel is in a lovely quieter part of marmaris which suited us fine, taxi into the centre is £2-3 or you can walk.

Manger is always around walking and  talking to guests.

Either walk (10-15mins to City/Beachfront), Taxi (5-10mins to the Marina old Town/Castle - 60lira ask reception) or by Bus (Dolmus from main road).

The beach is only a 15/20 walk away down to the marina

Take the 2 min walk to Del Boys on the main road.

Cant really find anything wrong Good pool Food ok dont expect anything special You wont go hungry Slight hill to walk up Try Del Boys and Batman for your trips Sarahs at bottom of hill is good for food  Short taxis ride down to Bazar harbour etc they all stop outside

Otherwise you could walk or get a taxi for less than £3 which the reception staff will book for you.

Hotel is situated on a incline I found It easy walking down to the shops and bars and getting a taxi back which is very Cheap.I would like to say a special thanks to Jack.

The manager lady was always about and always made herself available for guest to talk to her and she was always walking around speaking and greating guest everyday.

A short walk led to the local shops and slightly further afield the main shopping areas were easily accessible.

You can get some noise in your bedroom at night due to central location of the hotel.

In addition, it meant we had less time to make use of the all inc 

PLEASE NOTE - you aren’t allowed to take your drinks to your room due to “hygiene issues” 😂.

but in all honesty next doors looked far superior🙄

Would I stay in this hotel again, no, only due to pool, drinks and food.

But don’t think I would stay again, due to the rude bar man, slack housekeepers and not liking the food, it is described completely differently on tui to what it actually is when you get there.

It definitely  was not the experience we had hoped for considering it's been over 3 years since travelling due to the pandemic.

The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5, is due to the attitude of the management/reception staff.

However, unfortunately due to COVID the holiday got cancelled by TUI.

however nothing to complain about due to the pandemic.

Asked for a room change on my first day due to my error booking and ended up with the wrong room and next day they had facilitated this

Let me start by saying in my opinion our stay could not reflect a normal stay as A) we are in a pandemic and B) most  of Uk travellers when choosing to travel are choosingTurkey due to no quarantine when you get back so very busy 

I did not have my best stay and will explain why who is at fault I cannot decide

but due to the size of the hotel, sunbed issues and food I unfortunately would not return to this hotel.

but hopefully this was only due to the covid situation.Now on to my room.

but I think this is due to the coronavirus.

Entertainment needs to be more varied but due to Covid there’s restrictions.

Due to Covid the restaurant/food areas are a bit restricted as expected The food was good not many options to choose from we decided to eat out a couple of nights as it was very cheap.

but unsure if this is due to Covid or just the hotels general running.

When mentioned i was told it is due to many different countries in the hotel. .

even though some activities weren’t possible due to Covid.

Can’t sit on balcony as there is no room due to air con unit.

although our only grumble is that it is impossible to enjoy sitting on the balcony due to the extractor motor unit taking up most of the space and pumping out hot air meaning it was very little room to sit and enjoy the pool view.

No one wearing them in reception area or lifts.

not enough toilets none on the bar level and had to go down stairs there was only 1 single ladies and 1 urinal or you had to go back to your room lifts kept breaking down.

The lifts were unreliable and frankly scarey!

Also the lifts never worked for the majority of our stay.

The hotel is let down massively as identified in some previous reviews by the faulty lifts.

The hotel elevators were not working properly and can lead to dangerous situations!

Thirdly, I was in hospital whilst I was there, when I was finally discharged, the staff were very unkind and not at all facilitating, making me walk up and down the stairs because of a faulty lift.

The lifts are very slow and noisy.What makes this hotel is the staff.

Unfortunately there was an issue with the lifts

I only make reference to this due to one day both lifts had broken and for the short stay one lift was out of order for the majority of our stay.

but the one thing I couldn’t bare was the lifts were often broken, there are only 2 lifts and at times both were out of service.

The rooms were immaculately cleaned everyday, as well as decorating the rooms for birthdays as requested.

The cleaners make the room spotless everyday, always making pretty patterns on the bed and new towels everyday.

Rooms are so clean and the pool area is great

It’s absolutely brilliant, food was excellent and rooms are very clean.

From arriving to leaving I couldn't fault this hotel one bit the rooms are very clean and new the beds are comfy and the food was always good too looking to return next year.

The pool was cramped and the kid pool dirty.

No drawers and no plug sockets near the bed which could be a problem for some

The rooms are fairly small with no drawer storage and the gimmicky light control system is not very good, give me a good old switch any day!

but lacking  basic things like drawer storage and wardrobe hangers.

I’m not sure the space would be workable when the hotel is full.

The only 2 things we didn't like is the transfer from airport and wasn't enough space for clothes.

Shower a lot bigger and storage space is also bigger.

Cons: Limited space and sunbeds get reserved early.

Pool area was "small" (IMO) and with the reduced sunbeds it was not easy to get a space.

but lacking in storage, could do with some drawers but I did bring too much stuff!

Pool area- small, loungers crammed together with little personal space, and we never sat around the pool.

It was impossible to move around freely in the wheelchair, the wet room was far too small as not enough space for the the wheelchair to be used without leaving the door open.
