Food and Beverage Manager Mr Lahiru, assistants Milinda,Lahiru, Front Office manage Mr Niranjan and excellent team,Ex Chef and team who dished out some tasty choice of meals ,House keeping team who offered well cleaned rooms, Maintenance and animator team who supported in every possible way  .All in all great service by all who helped Outbound Adventures to facilitate a very successful corporate event.

We conducted an animation programme at Hotel Club palm bay under the guidelines of Animator Shalika.

Specially, Animation games were attractive and fun for every adults and childrens.

Hotel offers a large rooms, delicious meals, Acess to a pool and you can play basketball, badminton, tennis etc.

Overall experience is good, many activities are in place to pass the time, Guest relation officer Lahiru has helped a lot during our stay, 

Buffet had a range of options to try out.

Although our focus was the tournament, the environment of the hotel was very pleasing and staff was extremely helpful.

Many outdoor and indoor activities are available here.

Swimming pools great and fun with Volleyball water ball games.

They also have other team activities suitable for groups.

The swimming pool is one of the best part including other variety of activities including pool table, gym, and a tennic court.

The best part were the pool and the other facilities (SPA, basketball and badminton courts, private beach)

Truly had a super amazing and unforgettable time with great food, awesome entertainment, loving environment and nature filled with beauty!

Buffet on all 3 meals tasted homely and had a lot of verity and balance.

We booked to celebrate our 5th anniversary and staff are very friendly,delicious food menu,pool is big and good for children.

Today me and my family members came for the club palm bay.it was very beautiful and biggest hotel i had seen..rooms are very clean and beautiful..i most like that environment..foods are delicious.. All staff are very friendly..special thank for ms.chamika karunarathna she treat us well and she doing her job best..she was so close to us and i'm really really thanks for her make my family happy and help us to manage everything..

Many variety of buffet meals, gives the opportunity to enjoy the meal and the taste of the foods was marvelous.

We came to this hotel for spending our holiday with our kids.it was really amazing place to enjoy with kids.the foods are very delicious and there are different types of traditional foods and other kinds of foods.

lunch buffet was amazing and super hygiene.

Many variety of buffet meals, gives the opportunity to enjoy the meal without complaining.

But we are sure that we closed all the doors before going to sleep and we are clueless how someone had entered our room and stolen our goods.Immediately we informed the hotel management  and they visited the room and said they have never heard a theft like this one.

But it certainly doesn't feet like a place which was closed for nearly 2 years.

Almost suddenly Kalinga Pereyra went to his room and informed us over the phone that the door to room 124 was open.

Rooms are not that clean and especially bathroom and we found a used towel in our room as well.

4)The washroom: The was room was not that clean and had hair all over the floor and had a wet floor.

The glass shelf above the sink almost slid off and could have caused a nasty accident.

However, the bathroom was not upto the standard and water didnt drain well this was same to the adjacent room as well.

but I must add that they need to improve their bathroom facilities, bathroom was very old and did not go with the standard that they maintain.

When some requested finger bowls they were told to go to a washroom outside the dining area.

The staff warned us we should not get in the sea either as it is a dangerous place to have a sea bath!

We stayed at Amagi Marawila with some of our friends for two nights, The hotel doesn't even have the basic amenities and the services which a normal budget hotel provides, cleanliness needs to  improved a lot.

One time I was in the bathroom, water supply interrupted all of a sudden.

I visited this hotel on 1st May 2016, refer comments below

1 Room was filthy as ever
2 shower curtains were not washed at least for a year or even more
3 Dead A/c 
4 staff has no manners at all and not clean, they don't know how to server the guest,,running around for the tune of the nearby hotel music,
5 Front office staff were not friendly at all
6 Poll was dirty and the water was sticky and smelling,  
7 used cotton buds were still inside  drawers 
8 very noisy

Pros: Isolated, old furniture, toilets need maintenance, staff are not good enough in English, parking is small and entrance is narrow.

Few inexpensive things that can be done to improve the room quality:
  * add an extra carpet inside the room
  * add an extra dustbin in the bathroom (there was no dustbin in the bathroom)

Amagi Beach Hotel is definitely a hotel with a huge potential due to its location, price and the service.

Lock on the bathroom door wasn’t working.

but bathrooms are really smelly and not that good :( Room service is almost non-existing!

The hotel Staff is Very well organized From service to food 5 Star rating location is supper.

Great service given by the crew.perfect meal and ideal place .the chef was very friendly and nice with us.

The restaurant is popular in the area with locality, presentation, food and service a treat.

I came with my parents and stayed at Amagi beach , and it was a perfect stay rooms are clean, food was very very tasty thanks for the chefs  service was good we all enjoyed our stay we will come again.

From checking in to checkout everything was perfect, beautiful resort clean rooms the pool was clean the buffet was great, the Resident Manager was very help full we will come again for sure, all the best.

The room was clean, had good WiFi, Aircon and the bed was very comfortable.

although it is unsafe to bathe or swim in the sea it is a good place to relax on the sands.

I did take a swim in the morning ocean here and it was most enjoyable.

Despite the one night stay this hotel has fulfilled the expectations of a lone gem by the beach.

We enjoyed the swimming pool and beach as well.

Friendly staff, beach is not clean as Trincomalee beach.

but the hotel has a very large beach park with showers, across the road.

The view of the hotel is pretty nice, 2mins walking from the beach. Food is amazing, I just love how Sri Lankan and continental all the meals are :)

Bed room is spacious enough for double occupancy and nicely decorated.

We stayed there for 3 nights and the calm and quiet environment and friendly service and its ability to accommodate more than 300 people at once and serve them all at once are remarkable things about this place

The location is next to the beach which adds more value and the hotel environment is perfect.

The Air con gave trouble and it was very hot in the room.

A charming a extremely attentive Guide who helped to make our holiday at Carolina  beach one of the best we've had for a very long time! We looked up tour guides before our holiday , he has amazing reviews on trip advisor, he is a licenced tour guide , which is a great  start,

We had ants crawling on our bed and an open drain near the toilet which was bery smelly.

There were some bad smell when we entered into the room.

One of the pools had exposed wiring and steel drainage point sticking out which could cause a serious injury.

Pls never visit this hotel.Not clean at alll.Food was nasty.The pool was filles with isects.They have breeded too.Rooms smell reallly awwfull.It stinks alot.Washrooms are not maintained at all.The tap is rusted.PLS NEVER VISIT THIS HOTEL.

Beverages which they served us was warm and smelled like pee.

A few areas to work on would be to ensure that the rooms smell clean and fresh and cleaned regularly.

The current small swimming pool by the restaurant is adequate and believe it or not fitted with a urine detector, which is something of a first to me.

Water is like urine, yellow colour, bad smell, poor A/Cs
Room service is very slow.

I am sure this is sewer and maybe the sand deals with it,

I specially enjoyed the view and the big pool they have.

The room was located on the upper floor and was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool.

Very nice resort with an exceptional pool and good hospitality.Opposite the hotel one can find a very nice from where one can admire amazing sunset views.

The Carolina Beach is a good hotel at a nice location (The hotel is well located with view of ocean), in Chilaw Sri Lanka, a good business hotel with all the facilities,

It provided a great view of the Indian Ocean.

but if you want to chill and relax and not be disturbed by hawkers/ peddlers, just soak up the warmth, the sea and the pool, this is the place to go.

Lies around 7 km away from Chilaw town and faces the ocean with nice beach.

you can not do much in the beach as the sea is rough in this part of the country.

The hotel has a stunning pool, easy beach access (just across the narrow road in front of the hotel entrance), very good food, and quality service if you can forgive some of the language barriers and newness of the establishment.

The PVC pipes which run across the beach from the hatcheries to the sea look somewhat alarming to the untrained eye since they resemble sewage pipes

Some rooms has some issues with hit water and toilet flush

8 a. m. We were woken just to receive 2 bottles of water.

There's was a large split in the floor which meant that  when it eventually started to flow, water was saturating the ground underneath.

but I didn't want to swim despite the water looking clean.

Another problem is the running water which is not clean, so we could not use the jacuzzi.

There was dust on all flat areas, spider web in the shower and the cold water tap was difficult to prevent from dripping.

but really just need a lick of paint and bleach the bathroom.

Rooms are good only the shower might need a little upgrade.

but maybe even some fresh paint and the bathrooms need some fixing up.

The bathroom looks a bit old, cracks in the wash basin, and stuff like dirty spots and lamp fixtures not attached properly , stains in the sheets  (that were definitely freshly washed when we arrived), give the place an air of faded glory.

The bathroom in particular was a bit unappealing..

The bathroom was disgusting, with dust on every surface, a dirty floor, other guests' hair on the floor and soap scum on the sink.
