Location is close to beach and other restaurants.

The hotel is located in the town close to all the shops with the beach at walking distance.

The steak house across the road is lovely and a British bar near the beach called Roxies is great for breakfast.

The hotel was close too beaches and the main town of lloret de mar all were within walking distance.The town had a good selection of shops,Bars and Entertainment.

but far enough away the hotel itself was quiet and also close to the beach.

The locations is fab and close to both beaches.

Food was lovely.different menus every night .staff very plesant would always acknowledge you when they meet you.rooms very clean.rooms cleaned daily  and hotel was close to beach within walking distance .Shops close by  .would stay here again

but you need to book before hand, this is particularly useful as there is one right near the beach if you fancy some lunch whilst you're out and are All Inclusive.

Ok if you're having a laugh with friends, well located near to the beach, shops, restaurants & bars.

I did not feel comfortable to report this problem to staff as the previous night my friend was shouted at and got called security on all because she accidentally gave the wrong room number when requesting a spare key card.

Receptionist was extremely rude when I asked for a replacement card and shouted at myself in both Spanish and English calling me names such as ‘liar’ and ‘fraud’ as I had confused my room number with my friends.

Only slight annoyance were feral French kids running amok, while the parents sat drinking and playing cards,

On arrival we were charged 10 euro tax given our room key we got to our room and it was not ready full of rubbish un made beds went and complained she said we would need to wait, why don’t you go to our buffet dinner thinking she meant for free no 14 euro each!

We didn’t like the idea of  them giving you a card which you had to carry around with you all the time to get your drinks which were served in plastic tumblers, you could only get another drink when you took it back empty for them to refill .

Bad Start at bar when confused my girlfriend when said need a card my girlfriend showed her id said not that turns out after speaking with other staff they all inclusive cards.

One plastic thimble sized cup at a time that you had separate cards for too complicated to explain.

When you went for food you had to carry your all inclusive card or you couldn’t eat.

I was a little uneasy that someone had taken the card and I was fobbed off.

Drinks on all inclusive are local makes and not brand names with a card system to get drinks in narrow plastic glasses for outside use.

however pretty annoying trying to get a drink with your meal as you had to scan a card to operate the drinks dispenser and the cards did not scan well at all.

The card system used in the hotel is also bizarre and an annoyance more than a convenience.

The restaurant is a shambles, there is only 1 self service drinks area for dinner, and the all inclusive guests have to use a card to get drinks, the scanner often didn't accept the cards so the queues are ridiculous, if you want branded drinks, these are available

the bed was the hardest ive ever slept on, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room or anywhere else outside of bar/restaurant hours, the food was moderate to say the least and we spent so much time in a line for a drink due to their stupid 'all inclusive' card system that only allows a tumble glass of beer at one time that wouldn't quash the thirst of a vicar.

The door card is normal these days and is instead of a key, much easier to stash a door card than a key.

You even had to use the cards to gat a glass of water and even to fill up our grandsons bottle.

As well as this, to receive a drink at the bar you had to give a '1 drink token' card, and then to get the next drink you had to bring the first glass back.

It would be a lot more effective to have one card and staff to authorise the different facilities on it. Secondly.

We believe our drinks were tampered with whilst in the bar and subsequently we later found out that we had been robbed of our money.

Despite being all inclusive, I was told I had to pay for every little thing outside meal times (snacks, drinks,etc.).

A couple of days later when we were waiting to leave the same manager stood watching people in wet swimming costumes sit on the sofas in the lobby, dropping drinks and food all over the place and said nothing, our son sat with his legs crossed and 3 times got asked to keep his feet away from the sofa.

The buffet food at the all inclusive was cold, the drinks machine never worked not a good food selection of food to cater for people from the United Kingdom it is more catered towards local people.

The ‘all inclusive’ drinks are ridiculous, can drink alcohol by the dozen

We were also suprised to find out that there are NO drinks included at dinner for half board guests.

You can not get any hot drinks until 8am and none after 11pm.

One handed me a receipt for my drinks when I wasn’t finished ordering and when I told him I wasn’t finished he huffed at me and drew me a look.

but clean restaurant food was poor often being cold we booked premium werent offered premium drinks and none were on display pint glasses should be offered in the evening free and not having to take a silly half pint glass back to the bar frequently joining the ever growing que and spoiling the evening waiting for drinks last but not least there was a padlock on the ice cream fridge H TOP need to decide if they want to be all inclusive if so need to look closely at their competitors who quite clearly do

the entertainment is rubbish we are both 20 years old and we’re in bed by 10 most nights due to having to pay for drinks after a certain time and having no entertainment.

Very dated, booked all inclusive but ate out every day, if your French then might be ok but I couldnt eat the rubbish, food was awful, drinks ok,as for entertainment well last night says it all, live music it said,😂😂😂, some woman who couldnt sing playing the organ with the local old peoples home residents brought along to dance, shocking.

I will say the staff are lovely and the drinks system is not as bad as people make out .

The all inclusive drinks aren't well known brands like Coca Cola, if you insist on drinking that dross all day long,

Getting drinks from the bar was a bit of an ordeal, you had to have a card for your glass and an all inclusive card.

although all drinks are local there wasnt a problem drinking them,my only complaint about the bar was that it closed at 11pm so quite early.

but was only a small selection of drinks available otherwise had to pay.

The hotel due an upgrade next year as it is dated , the food , breakfast, lunch and dinner we cannot fault plenty of choice and all cooked to an excellent standard the pools are clean and have plenty of sun beds around both outdoor pools the indoor pool and spa looks really good (

The accomodation was ok rooms got cleaned everyday,  food was great and plenty to choose from .

Food was good , if u was early there was never any queues :) plenty to choose from , we just used the hotel as a base really , day trips out to Barcelona / Girona / nearby beaches / only used the pools a few times

Cant fault the food plenty to choose from, even with a fussy teenager.

Good food at all times was provided with plenty of variety for all - fish,beef,pasta pizza and any amount of very fresh vegetables and salads.

The food choice was great always more than plenty of choice even for a picky eater or vegetarian.

There is plenty of choice of drink in the all inclusive and you are able to taste the alcohol.

Found food good and varied plenty of choice.. Obviously if you fancied something special to eat there are plenty of bars and restaurants around to choose from.

The Evening meal Choice (Buffet Style) Was varied,plenty of choice,plenty to eat & part of each nights offerings where themed,italien,chinese,russian etc.

There is plenty to choose from on the all inclusive option such as vodka, gin, whisky, brandy, whisky cream which is like bailey's, white wine, red wine, Estrella Dam lager, vermouth, sherry and there is also a daily cocktail.

Plenty of choice and cooked to a very good standard.

We were pool facing, entertainment tended to finish around midnight so we weren't bothered by noise and with the balcony door closed we heard little noise from the road.

but was advised that he could take up to 45minutes, by then I was severely dehydrated, vomiting and short of breath so I called an ambulance.

The hotel is located right next to a super busy main road so you can hear loud traffic all night long.

Reception staff are dismissive and rude, on check out there was only one reception staff on and the que was horrendous, when i got to the front i was ignored and a spanish family that just appeared were given priority.

The hotel staff wasn't bothered, floor above us partying all night, kids running around all hours/people partying shouting all night.

The only real negative was it’s very echoey due to all the tiling so there was a lot of background noise during the night - it may put people off

Dining room varied between quiet and extremely busy during our stay

The walls, ceilings, floors and doors were all paper thin and you could here beds in other rooms squeaking, people talking and flushing toilets, all through the night.

The noise is this hotel you would expect in Magaluf or Ibiza.

We had to ring reception at 3/4/5am every night to complain about the noise.

We spent week here in family room and get put next door to bunch lads noisy and shouting.

My room is noisy from traffic and walls paper thin.

but should be a 2 , it’s outdated and very noisy, food is ok but dining hall is like a cattle market, they even charge for WiFi which in a 4 🌟is free , have been to many hotels but can’t believe they would class this as high end it’s basic and low end quality.

Walls paper thin so you hear "everything" next door ( and I mean everything 😔 ).

Just mind you do not make a sound in your room or security will knock

but the thing that spoils this hotel is the continuing banging of doors and loud voices and shouting at anytime of the day it is not a hotel to go to unless you want to be woke up three .

The only downfalls of the hotel were the noise, you can hear everything that is going on in the hotel - especially early in the morning.

Hotel and rooms were clean and staff were lovely.

Room was clean through echoed at night Bar staff coudnt be more accomdaating once they understood what you wanted i liked the special coffee they made me after diner Only bad part of holiday was coah journey home courtesty of Ferris Coaches Nightmare from start to Finish nothing to do with Hotel infact Lady at Reception was most helpful on Sat Morning  very alate running coach return journey .

On a positive note, food was good and rooms were clean.

Only good point about my stay was the room cleaning lady, she was amazing made sure our room was cleaned to a high standard daily.

The rooms are clean and very spacious serviced everyday .

Bed was comfy and the room was immaculately clean.

The maids were very friendly & always said hello,  one thing that was really good was they cleaned the room & made the beds every day.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the cleaners are lovely

reception was lovely and clean, the rooms were clean, poolside was kept clean and the bar and entertainment area.

I left my bag in the baggage room and went off to a local bar not far from the hotel called the Nags Head where I was made to feel very welcome.

Not noisy or any loud music that you sometimes get, very close to lloret centre and fenals side of the resort, length of bars to try the Nags Head worth a visit

I would recommend going to the Nags Head which is around the corner.

although even without it there’s plenty to do with the choice of pools and entertainment on , went all inclusive and couldn’t fault it , easy to get served even table service for drinks , lots of choice in resteraunt at meals , deserts were lovely 😊 and snack bar through the day of the kids missed a meal or weren’t hungry , definitely worth paying the extra for AI .

but upgraded to all inclusive which was easily done by the reception staff and well worth it as well!

but did pay for the all inclusive breakfast one day and dinner on another and the standard was really good.

In AI they are serving premium alcohol, and all cocktails are made properly(not from sweet syrups).

Food is probably the best we have ever had in an all inclusive hotel.

We (Husband, Wife and 8yr old daughter) stayed for 1 week all inclusive with a double room with pool/sea balcony view.

We booked all inclusive through TUI and the food was incredible.

The all inclusive choice was very wide and catered for the whole family, kids always found something to eat.

We were all inclusive which made life so easy as there is so much choice.

We have stayed in many all inclusive hotels over the years and, as always, before booking this hotel read through all the reviews etc and was pretty confident we would have a fab experience.

All inclusive was worth it as the drinks were branded.

I have to say this is one of the best all inclusive holidays I have been on.

It is definitely one of the best all inclusive hotels we have stayed at.

Back from a fabulous all inclusive stay at the Golden Taurus at the end of July.

but it was so hot and busy I’d get a coach next time.

My advice ask for a room not higher than level 3 as lifts are busy all the time and takes ages to get them.

but actually it didn’t feel busy at the times we were using the facilities.

Despite the hotel being busy the the queues for the slides were not long.

There was one occasion that it was quite busy

Surprisingly the water park never seemed to get too busy.

Also, the poolside games were too busy with small children so we didn’t join in .

but could get busy with unsupervised children.

but personally would need to venture out 1 or 2 nights as is so busy and a bit repetitive.

I can imagine the hotel is super busy around school
holiday times, luckily I can avoid those times now!

The water park is fab and never that busy.

The pools do get busy,  especially the entertainment pool and there are lots of towels down early, 

Bars are busy by the pool there are other bars you can use

You could afford to loose 300 guests and it would still be busy.

Otherwise each pool is very busy with the general chatter of guests.

Hotel itself was nice with loads to do for kids and for parents to enjoy time away with loads of activities for everyone,

Seemed good entertainment for kids, the entertainers were extremely hard-working.

100% recommend to anyone wanting a great hotel for kids, we will be returning next June, can’t wait.

though I came with 2 brothers the effort that was put in for the kids was obvious and they loved it.

Amazing hotel for a family breck, i spent 5 nights wit my 7 year old daughter she loved the pools n the mini disco, grest enterainment for kids thru out the day, very friendly staff, rooms are very clean n beds comfy most the rooms have sea veiw, waterpark is brillent loads to do.close to the beach, i defo wud recomend this hotel for familys, i will be returning, thanks to all the staff for a amzing time 🍺🍺🍹🍹🍹

Our little girl is 3 and she absolutely loved the kids club and in particularly Merche.

As a family of 9 and a age range of 50 weeks old granddaughter to a 72 year old proud grandfather, we were all more than satisfied with our stay at the Golden Taurus aqua park resort hotel.

Staff are fantastic, facilities are fabulous, food, entertainment, bars, pools, kids club, the shows everything you can think as a family are catered for.

A water park with slides, 3 pools, children's fun areas, poolside bar/other bar, games room, night entertainment, fun day games, cycle hire, coach trips, hiking routes, nearby shops, bus/train nearby, 2 restaurants, a laundry room, an outdoor play area, they've got it all covered, oh and the beach is at the front of the hotel.

As soon as we arrive to the hotel, me and my 10-year-old son, the staff helped us out all spoke good English
Rooms are tidy.

It is absolutely great if you travel with kids!

Clean, staff are amazing, and have games for kids, teenagers and adults for things to do.

Night was okay for younger kids, later on okay entertainment.

The children loved the waterslides and we didn’t move much from the hotel.

Lots of fresh produce, plenty for the kids.

Our kids were very happy and we didn't need to keep an eye on them as everything was very safe tor.them to be around

3 adults and kids aged 13 & 10, the rooms were clean, bright and well maintained,  our room maid was Consuela who did a great job every day.

We went as a family of 6 - husband, I & 4 children (ages 3-9 years).

Hotel run kids club at night while adults watch shows, fab!

Food good, (desserts really nice) cocktails horrible (out of a bottle), free beer/wine not great - limited choices on AI - you can pay additional for better options (EG bottled beers 1 Euro if your AI).

but for what we paid it was still a disappointment.

- Shouldn’t have to pay to use a safe (€20 a week) or iron (€1.50 for 30mins) in 4* hotel
- Not enough bikes for hire (even in Sept) and why only 10am-6pm.

but come on - when someone pays for a fully/all inclusive deal that's exactly what we expect.

Not too many thinks to choose in the Bar, only one type of beer sold for AI and if wanted a Coke, 70% ice in it, same as mcdonalds🫣
Food was great for lunch, had to pay extra for a bottle of wine €5.50 as all inclusive quest and at check out they charged €18.00 or something like that.

Negative  - you have to pay 10euro deposit per towel and you have to pay 1 euro (non refundable) every time you want to change it.

but limited service hours for all inclusive which we never got our head around and teenagers often ended up having to pay for what they wanted as it was after 6, or after 10pm.

Yes if it was out of peak season and very very cheap deal 😬

Be careful where/when you get the drinks if paying for them, there was a bit of inconsistency with the size and price of drinks between the bars.

though some people are talking rubbish and expect a 5 star hotel for a 1 star price.

Maybe they are not getting paid enough or maybe that’s just how it is here.

Plus you have to pay for everything - towels by the pool, coffee and drinks for dinner (even with half board) and even to play at the pool table.

I'd suggest people who are full board get a ticket for snack food as al alternative to dinner
 

Such a shame the prices were so crazy high.

There are 2 pool tables and at 2 euros a game it is rather expensive

but paid to eat in the all inclusive buffet a couple of nights.

Horrible how boring this hotel is not gonna lie is just for families with kids that’s what you mostly see.Also I’ve paid half board which means breakfast and dinner ,at dinner time I had to pay for my drinks which I thought I would get with my dinner not even a 1 drink for free this hotel is trying to make money on everything 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼horrible how it works in this hotel everything cost money even to borrow a towel for pool I’ve been to a lot of countries and hotels

The only minus is on full board you have to pay extra for soft drinks, would be better if you up your price a bit and serve soft drinks for everyone.

Despite not being AI, we found the drinks reasonably priced - 2.50 Euros for a pint and about the same for a glass of wine.

One criticism was that one member of staff came in part way through and was giggling and whispering with a bar staff member seemingly at our expense about the solemnity of it all and obvious upset of people in the room which made me angry and like we were being disrespected.

The room was really clean and we had a sea view.

Room was spotless - cleaned every day to good standard.

Antonio made our room very clean and tidy, what a lovely cheerfull lady, always singing and smiling.

Can I say, if you are looking for a family hotel, with amazing staff, clean rooms and the best entertainment.

The rooms were clean with air con, fridge and a balcony and had everything else we needed in there.

The hotel is fantastic - the staff are all super friendly, the rooms are very clean as is the rest of the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were modern.

The rooms were clean and spacious and cleaned throughly daily with  towels replaced .

Hotel is spotless room cleaned every day, 2 massive poop areas and the waterpark is brilliant for children of all ages.

Beautiful clean rooms, friendly staff, stunning cocktails and the beach as soon as you walk out of the hotel (and what a stunning view from our balcony).

The rooms were spotless and big enough for 2 adults & 2 teenagers (family room) the balcony had drying rack and 4 chairs with plenty of room for all of us.

Evening entertainment was ok - the Michael Jackson tribute was good dancer -

Their was a 60th anniversary celebration for the hotel and the entertainment staff were absolutely fabulous.
