The Guest House was at strategic location in the middle of the city, comfortable atmosphere and the staff was very friendly with fast service.

This place is very cozy&tidy, it has very helpfull staffs, strategic location (close to ijen street, so we can have some morning walk or jog), and the most important is it gives reasonable price.

I stay with the family, take the family room, everything is perfect at an affordable price, although a bit of miscommunication, we booked one family room,

One weakness is the noise from vehicles passing out side the property.

It can be noisy at times when motorbike drives across.

but still woke up quite some times from noises inside and outside of the hotel.

but luckily when I stayed, the other guests did not make loud noises at night so I could sleep peacefully.

The rooster makes a lot of noise in the middle of the night.

just noisy from other guess if you stay on weekend maybe because to crowded n the room don't have soundproof.

Too noisy, bad pressure shower, and bad location room.

but the noise from outside is loud and there is NO WIFI in our room despite we're in the family room.

Our rooms had only small windows to outside ..from where you hear the busy street " Boulevard Idjen " .

A little noisy as the location on the main road.

However the room is bit tired and  it was quite noisy even in late evening because it is at the intersection of two busy streets.

But the bed on room 102 I think needs to be replaced because it made sound when we slept on it.

Small things that we find it a bit annoying is the fact that we can hear voices from the street,

but the pillow isn't comfy enough..room wasn't soundproof, you can really hear the noisy traffic..bedroom could be better and cleaner..bedsheets and towels were clean enough for me..

Beware if you buy food, because my mom's bread was eaten by ants..common things in Indonesia though so we understand..no refrigerator..

The elevator was loud from the room and you could always hear it thudding and dinging.

The room is not soundproof, we can hear cars passing by and people having breakfast at the dining room in front of our room.

Rooms are clean, spacious and in very good condition!

We highly recommend this hotel for god value, clean room and acceptable breakfast.

Room is clean, Wifi quite fast, in Malang, not really need Air Conditioner, so after couple minutes just turning off the AC in the room.

The room is so clean and the price is cheap.

The most important is the cleanness of the room, it was very good.

however, neither bathroom floor nor the floor in the room was clean enough, hairs from staff or previous guests could be found.

Check in and check out process quite fast.

The hotel front office staff were very helpful makes the check-in process went smoothly.

Arrived at noon, check in process were very smooth.

A very quick check in process, they directly link with my Accor reservation, hassle free, got the room right away (we are check in at 2pm).

Very warm Welcome from the Receptionist (Laksmi) and also one of the Manager (Mr.Suryo) made our check In process was ran smooth and fast.

The hotel was serious about AllSafe - we were asked for either Covid vaccination card or negative test result during check in.

When you check in (even as an Accor member) you should be instructed that if you would like to sign, you need to make an imprint of your credit card - not done.

Just make sure you carry you own laundry bags as they charge for laundry bags.

5 mins later I was called by reception with a good apology and was told that I was given the wrong card as I was upgraded to 7th floor and told to move.

but if they are missing from the rooms during check out, they are charged at 15k IDR.

Both elevator and gate between guests room and swimming pool are equipped with RFID key card

The lift/room card is not working every time so i had to go down to rescan my card, and still is not working so i had to go down again just then the receptionist give me a new card, very poor system

such as laundry bag should be free of charge.

but from my opinion which is i'm staying with family it's not nice, which is you need to tap your room key card for able to access the floor which you stay.

There is no adding up to checkout date and final billing.

There was also a sign that the sandals and laundry bag were charged (probably to reduce disposable sandals and plastic laundry bag consumption).

Final point is that I'm peeved I got the invitation to review long before I got credit in my account to move up to Platinum level!

However, i showed them my accor member card during my check in and did not got the welcome drink like that they've promised.

Unclean bathroom, noisy next doors, humid Elevator, broken shower hose,

I was placed at the room next to the elevator, and the elevators make sound every time it's being used.

Biggest minor points: restaurant isn't top class, diner is not advised upon; elevators are very, very slow in use; and it's a bit out of town -

Well another disappointment is the lifts, with 2 lifts please expect a long delay especially during a certain event in the hotel, such as company gathering.

In peak times, you have to wait quite some time for the elevator.

The pool also crowded, and somehow cause the lift floor wet because did not properly dry after swimming.

- Two lifts for 11 floors are a bit lacking, especially during morning rush hour.

Beside that the lift was also terrible, me and other guest took a long time in basement.

Me and the kids have to stay in the room without electricity and AC, when my wife went to the mini-marts (she need the card to use the elevator). 2.

better choose room far from elevator for you who need quite for sleep.

When I asked why she did that, she said the lift was taken too long to get her upstairs.

All seems minor except for two things: it takes a long time to actually get on an elevator and we were not even staying on the busy weekends.

In fact, we did not get it even at that time we met a bell person with the trolley came out from the elevator.

When I arrived at the room I got a very nice clean room and I didn't find any defects in the room.

The room was clean as they implemented clean/safe policy with disinfected room.

The room its very clean and good for take a rest.

Well maintenance and so clean for the room and public area around the hotel.

The room was lovely, located in high floor with stunning city view, clean room & bathroom.

Good room and clean, delicious food from the restaurant.

They give us suggestion about bromo trip, sunset on the beach and culinary in malang, all suggestion is superb

The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in.

The rooms were clean and well maintained.

Stayed for 1 night in March, the hotel is nice, with clean room and good view of the mountain area.

When u take a shower, u can smell something bad at the first time, it must be from the drainage.

sometime there were sewer smell too coming out of the toilet.

However, the second day upon breakfast in level 1 I found several guests was smoke in non-smoking Area, It gives a bad impression to the restaurant since I bring my kid and many other guests bring their kids too.

We got room no 312 for non smoking room, the hairdryer have strange sound

The room's toilet pipes and shower drains (room 906 where I stayed for 3 nights) need to improve to reduce bad odor.

Our company travel assistance haf booked the room more than 3 days ago as my note which is Double Bed + Smoking room.

The few Cons are:
- very dirty and disgusting towels
- housekeeping (cleaning) needs to be improved  
- main issue: location - about 3 kilometers from city center. It's not difficult to get downtown,

Unfortunately, the drainage in one of my friend bath room was clogged and caused flood inside the room.

Many people were smoking during breakfast.

Breakfast with Smokers are annoying for us especially Family with baby, Food is less of variation and when the food runs out, the addition of the food is very slow.Stay with Family

Annoying cigeratte smoke in the restaurant and swimming pool.

So I ended up waiting for hotel to allocate my room to smoking room. 3.

The breakfast area doesn't have any designated smoking area, and people tends to smoke while having breakfast. 4.

The room is very small and the worst problem is there is no separation between smoking and non-smoking area in the restaurant, I went there with my husband and one year old son, so it is very annoying when we have to breath their smoke.

We could not understand why a front office staff tried to deceive us into accepting a smoking room instead of our preferred non-smoking room for our upgrade.

Non smoking tables were about a metre away from smoking tables, which was not a problem at the time because the place was empty,

There is also a swimming pool which is fun for children.

I also visit their gym & pool, and I would for certain came back just to swim there again -

Also the warmed swimming pool at the 2nd floor is very relaxing.

but u get more facilities indeed, ecspecially the warm swimming pool.

above average 3 stars hotel, perfect location, right in the heart of Malang.. a good place to transit before going to Batu.. a hot water swimming pool, good gym facilities and above average breakfast buffet for 3 stars hotel will surprise you.

First time stay in this hotel and I found this hotel met with my expectation, It has swimming pool and the breakfast has variaty of food.

Also the swimming pool and small gym are good to kill some time at.

Especially the 'warm' swimming pool, the Kids loved it so much.

Nice place and view, good hospitality, the breakfast is satisfying, sport facility is ok, good place for jogging, many interesting spots for taking picture, strategic location, swimming pool is the most fovourite one for the children.

but my favorite is the pool and Xbox facility.

nice room, beautiful view, the foods is tasty, hospitality 10/10, a lot of activities we can do here, there’s  a billiard table, pool, tennis court, basketball court, fitness center and a kids playground, and because its located in Batu the weathers is nice.

The facilities are also very good so our activities can be very enjoyable.

All facilities are free such as bicycle renting, golfing, pingpong, tennis, basketball and billiard.

(They also have indoor and outdoor kids playground, flying fox, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, spa, and many kind of sports n fun games.)

The hotel has a nice and spacious environment so we can spend time in a hotel with lots of activities and we don't have to leave the hotel considering the new normal conditions (avoiding crowds).

The hotel has children Playground, good swimming pool and sports ground.

Kids were having fun, swimming, playgrounding even doing the painting activities!

Kidz activities help our kidz enjoy our family moment.

Great hospitality, we enjoyed almost experience all activities in one day stay, outdoor - indoor playground, pool, jacuzzi, and etc.

The Singhasari offers many exciting activities we have yet to try such as the basketball court, tennis court, billiard, table soccer, ping pong table and spa.

The staff was very nice & friendly, the ambiance was great and the cooking class with the chef was one of my daughter's favorite activities.

Who can be a little cold at times, and the internet is very intermittent which is disappointing.

Swimming pool is really cold as the hotel is located in Batu.

Unfortunately, the water in the outdoor pools is quite cold.

but cold food on cold plates and it was not good.

Batu is cold, room heater probably need, if you dont like cold.

We stayed at Pool Access Room and it was great, the pool was great, the water was cold and refreshing and the view was great.

I checked out from the hotel this afternoon, here are some fact about the hotel:

The swimming pool was cold like an ice, i swim with my son during my stay at the hotel, and only last 1/2 an hour and my son start to shiver and i finish the swimming session

The water temperature in jacuzzi pool was warmer than in the swimming pool
