The restaurant gets busy, of course it does,

No dramas getting a sun lounger despite it being a busy hotel.

The hotel is on a very busy strip so very lively throughout the night and early hours.

Bars: 
Do get busy and many people (often French) do try to push in.

Pool - we didn’t use the main pool as people were like vultures queuing for sun loungers, far too busy.

The rest of the guests all have to eat in a very cramped, busy and hot restruant.

Now the downside- the hotel is so busy- there is no where near enough loungers or umbrellas.

Pool area was always busy with people putting towels down early morning and sometimes not turning up til past midday.

The hotel is very busy and unless u get up at 6-7am you have no chance of a Sun-bed let alone being by the pool.

The one other gripe that spoilt this hotel was the visiting German swimming team that acted like hungry pigs around the food and shouting and screaming playing music into the early hours on a number of occasions, they were often ushered in first for meals which the busy cleaners how to clean after them as the normal humans followed them.

although I avoid high season times and school holidays as the pool area and restaurant are very very busy and there are no sunbeds unless your get up at a god unearthly hour to throw your towel on.

The dinner hall was extremely busy with what felt like a thousand OAPs who pushed their way around the food, gave lots of dirty looks, rude and in general we had a feeling that British people were not welcome.

So far the pool bar has not been open so if you are at the pool ypu need to walk quiet a distance to get a drink at the one bar that is open and always busy.

The man worked his socks off in there, always smiling despite being constantly busy.

We had an Andalusian room and they needed a bit of TLC balcony door was a bit stiff holes in curtains etc.

But we were not disturbed by it when we went to bed b4 it had finished on our first evening as the patio doors blocked out alot of noise.

With two 16 yr old girls and one bathroom, two very small beds for them in a room with mould on the ceiling and a double bed behind a sliding door us, this was not what we had booked and paid for.

Bar manager Rocio, was a lovely lady who remembered my sons name and made him very happy, her and Ely, lady that works in the bar were both very attentive and made our holiday very enjoyable and our baby under two years old loved them both.This was redemption for the poor room we had where I got locked in bathroom then following that my son got trapped in there so I had to broke the door down!

I had a problem with people playing music up till midnight in the room next door, they reacted quickly each night to contact them,

Some of our group had an awful experience of rooms with scribble on walls, broken and filthy furniture on the balcony and the door leading to the balcony wouldn’t lock.

On the 3rd floor with door shut this sounded like it was on your balcony.

It's such a shame because Anything from the pool bar upwards to the main hotel is lovely 
The hotel is in dire need of a good lick of paint especially when you compare it to the newly refurbished hotel next door.

Not very cold had to have the balcony door open aswell.

Bathroom door kept locking & couldnt get out.

but there are no signs anywhere ,Anyway we never paid and parked the car next door in a free public carpark.

there were queues (right up to the door outside) to get the table.

Bad points Rooms very dated need refurb doors falling off leaks from shower.

These are likely the very people who do not use the hand cleanser at the door !

That is not the case the room was not properly cleaned upon our arrival tber was tissue stuck to the floor in the bathroom and pubic hairs and dust  behind the lounge door.

There were always queues in front if the restaurant doors.

The accomodation is in need of a refurb, keys for the doors, I can't remember the last time I saw those!

Our terrace door did not latch and that was never fixed.

We arrived 10.30am, to be told our room would not be ready until 2pm, party or 6 adults, not good enough, then once had our key well to my horror we put at the back of the Hotel, once we finally found it, and the family been sp!it in various parts of the hotel, not happy as needed to be near my mum, (had emailed the hotel prior to this) Our rooms were so dated opposite a very noisy pool.. Bathroom was a joke and the patio door wouldn't shut.

The lifts were dire, really slow and mostly full when they did finally arrive.

Most of the time people had to get out so the lift could function.

The lift's where so bad most of the time i used the steps to go down.

The hotel need to think of a way to try and help with this, maybe lift towels off the beds if they haven't been used by a certain time?

But, the lifts are too few and too small so it sometimes took a while to get one.

The lift situation was terrible most of the indicators were broken so you couldn’t tell which floor a lift was on, I was happy to walk down the stairs from the 5th floor

The lifts in the hotel were frightening they are tiny and bounce on arrival.it also takes ages for them to arrive to your floor aswell.

Would we stay again - ABSOLUTELY - the hotel is not perfect - lifts are a challenge, some areas are a bit dated, pool is overcrowded -

Experienced a very , very rude couple one day in the lift , should have really reported them , wish I had .

Very poor hotel,old fashion,dirty everywhere, staff are very,very rood,unfriendly, food are very bad,not many options, same breakfast every morning, hotel doesn't look as on the picture, old stuff everywhere,lifts needs update,only 3 people at the time,nothing looks similar on the website!!!

There were numerous sanitiser points through out the hotel at multiple contact points ie at lifts and outside toilets.

My visit spoilt by continuous lift failures.

The only reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 was for the lifts not being very reliable - we only used them on the first and last day to take our suitcases up to and down from the 5th floor.

The only downside was the long wait to get served at the pool food bar and the long wait for the lifts.

The lifts in the main building were very slow and stuffy.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS - we had problems with the lifts as we struggled to get the wheelchair in.

On Monday evening at 10 pm we witnessed a drone being flown over rooms from the car park next to the hotel.Also on Wednesday evening the same car park had what can only be described as a music rave which the hotel could not do anything about.The lifts in the hotel are small and incapable of taking a motorised wheelchair or manual wheelchair unless folded.

we were up on the 6th floor so had to use the elevators a lot (especially with me being ill).

However the pool bar was brilliant and the man cooking snacks was the most hardworking and friendly person I've experienced on holiday so a huge thank you.

I would stay here again, really nice hotel and staff who are friendly,polite,hard working.

Cleaning and bar staff (next to the restaurant NOT pool bar) were super friendly. .

MARTA and WALTER were great in bar really friendly
They alone would make you return.

Kamal on the daytime food bar is the best always friendly and quick service.

Entertainment was fabulous especially little Trini, we loved her was so welcoming and friendly and always made the effort to speak with us.

As some side notes as well, you’ll likely be invited to a photoshoot on the beach by a lovely friendly lady.

Hotel is clean and tidy and the bar staff are very friendly.

All the staff are so friendly, snack cabin is amazing and provides alternatives for picky children who can’t find anything on the extensive restaurant buffet which again is top class quality.

Please ignore the negative reviews, I really don’t know what some people expect for the prices they are paying.

And bottled water had to be paid extra for! .

You go over and ask for food late of an evening and they look at you like you just spat in there face, yet the bell kept ringing to let the GOLD Members no that there pizza was ready:  We Paid For All Inclusive - so if it's before 11pm then it should of been cooked for us without the dirty looks!

This was a godsend because I found the mobile roaming package, which now has to be paid for as an extra from your network providers since we left the EU, very hit and miss.

but were blaming the food and cheap drinks, but when the kiddies were getting it I knew it wasn't, we caught it on our last day and have friends we made still there gone down with it so please be cautious if visiting any time soon, other than that it was a lovely hotel its not a 4 star, the hotel needs some updating but we had a lovely holiday here, its just a shame how it ended. 🤮

Overall the staff and atmosphere in this hotel is good,if you see people walking around with a camera asking to take photos,do not get sucked into this scam as for full photo shoot which takes 30 minutes will cost you around 470 euros!They may offer you less photos for less money through with their hard sale tactics 
However, if there is a guy coming with a parrot 🦜, have his pictures taken because the photos looks nice unlike the unprofessional ones and only cost you 10 euros.

The drinks are average ,cheap spirits and weak beer, ended up buying San Miguel in cans and putting in fridge.the food was reasonable

Rooms:
We paid extra for an Andalucian room.

Cocktail Drinks were a bit naff too….but….you could pay even more daily for gold club access to better and nicer food €18 per person per day.

Had to pay 3.50 euros a day and 20euros deposit for a safe.

There was also horse riding for the kids at no extra cost

but we got the bus and train to torremolinos & benalmadena attractions (be mindful of siesters and taxis but they do cost €12-15 each way.

but we preferred using the taxi (comparable in price for a party of three).

We didn't pay for this and it meant that large areas of the hotel were left empty,

but not when you have paid for a family holiday 4*experience!

Spent the whole afternoon on the phone to the holiday company who assure me I definitely booked and paid for gold, they said they would email confirmation to the hotel.

Pity restaurant manager wasn't accommodating and came across very rude! .

The French were unbelievably rude and ignorant, all the Europeans had to agree!!! Favourite pastime was queue jumping, poor basic manners, handling bread with hands not tonges ( COVID!!)

The Spanish guests where very rude and impolite.

however an odd person was rude and thought nothing of barging past you or pushing in front of you in the restaurant.

The reception staff are so rude and so unhelpful it is shocking.

This hotel also mostly cater for the French who was constantly rude pushing in at the restaurant and always giving dirty looks and also trying to steal beds and umbrellas.

When we arrived the hotel was full of Spanish oap as they get a subisded holiday every year, they were rude and pushed in.

We were surprised at the amount of elderly Spanish who at times were very rude especially in restaurant and entertainment hall .

but most of them just wanted to dance & have fun, yes some were a bit rude but just be mindful of other cultures.

Only exception seemed to be Eva at the bar who was just rude and unfriendly every time (wondered if we had caught her on a bad day initially!).

At meal times We found  the noise in the dinning room very loud and over powering, the Spanish guests were very rude Pushing in front of us at times.

Food wasn’t 4 star and restaurant full of rude French people who pushed their way about.

And boy, there were some rude guests, pushing, shoving, and not looking where they were going.

she even had my son in laws car keys and was very rude.

We did complain at reception to the manager who quiet frankly was rude and dismissive will I be returning again I'm afraid not.

but photos were expensive and the guys doing it were rude and quite aggressive if you tried to take your own photo.

There was a lot of pushing and shoving to get food and guests were extremely rude.

The food is varied and well presented, we did have issues with one or two unruly Spanish pensioners who were often rude and pushing in,

We had a great time we upgraded to gold which was well worth it for us because we had a early flight and we were allowed to get our room as soon as we arrived, food was excellent was a great selection every day could not fault this hotel at all great staff in every department weather was fantastic thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Disgraceful.Saying that, the interaction we had with the non-Tui entertainment team was good,

Hotel grows on you Entertainment staff Brilliant, pool barbecue staff well he’s amazing couldn’t get on with food in restaurant, room next to pool bar.

Damian, Jose, Fabricio and Rocio were so polite!

but the staff handle this really well, we got a table no problem every meal time.

The evening shows were great when the team where performaning

The entertainment team work hard, the activities during the day like aqua Zuma, paella an cocktail making demonstrations are fun,

Also a big thankyou to Connor in the gold dining area who tried to rearrange our Italian evening for us.

Myself, sister and my mum came here in the 22 /09/22 we was here for 4 days..  the service we received from Jose  and fabricio was sensational 👏 👌 we meet damion and he was also very welcoming, always making conversation,  making you feel part of the place , really made us feel very welcome , will defo be back very soon . .

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel
One of the best all inclusive you get for the money you pay
Food is standard good days,poor days and days where the food was outstanding ( Hungarian Goulash)
Staff are friendly and helpful particularly the young lady who works in the pool bar 
Plenty of sunbeds to be had 
Got up most mornings about 9 and still got one 
Entertainment was OK

but you can grab a drink from the other bar and take it in with you.

best entertainment was in Pepi,s bar which was multi lingual.

We opted to use the beach twice using free bus and snack bar this was a great deal and sun beds are so comfy bliss don’t be fooled though my friend and I thought we were going to sister hotel for snack lol which is stunning

The bar do what we call a generous pour and having a beech bar aswell plus freebus service was an extra treat.Bar staff were friendly and would greet us with hola and a smile.Dont forget to a wee tip.All in all a good spot.We hope to return sometime.

The hotel is in a great destination as it is right near multiple bars, restaurants and shops, it is also a 15/20 minute walk away from mini golf/arcades.

The hotel is very central lots of shops, bars and restaurants  nearby, we walked to the Aqua park it’s not far and very easy to find.

Beach bar is great and food and drink options were really good.

The Marconfort fully inclusive plan means no worries and the added bonus of an included free bar and food at the beach was excellent   Staff were very good and room was clean and comfortable.

The “Beach Snack Bar” is deserving a golden star.

Not a lot of English guests and yes the evening in pepes bar was very Spanish.

Hotel staff (reception, restaurant, bar and cleaning staff) were all very friendly, helpful and willing to help.

5 minute walk into the centre of Torremolinos, which is really nice, lots of shops, restaurants and bars.

The pool bar is open from 10 and serves drinks.

We only used the bus once to get there, just so we knew where the beach bar was, and walked all the other times.

Staff  at reception were ok. Bar staff in the coffee bar were excellent.

Theres a coffee shop and bar at front 9f hotel with drinkd served in glasses staff here amazing.

All staff were friendly and helpful and all had smiles!

Travelled as a family of 3 adults ( 2 sisters and our Mom) we couldn’t believe how friendly every single member of staff were.

Can't fault the staff, they work so hard, and were very friendly and helpful.

though I’m being so unfair to the many friendly Spanish people I’ve met on holiday over the years as I certainly have never thought this before, nor am I biased on culture or country people are from….

I've seen so many people do that and then leave the pool area for breakfast or back to sleep and some of them haven't been back for hours..

Like most people have said the pool area is way too small for the amount of people, especially this time of year, it was rammed!

The pool and pool area is small for the size of the hotel and you end up laid right next to strangers which I didn’t like.

Unfortunately the pool area and views are not very pleasant and definitely not relaxing.

However if you’re not fussed about a crowded concrete jungle type pool area, chaotic buffet and mainly Spanish and British guests then fill your boots.

There is only one pool which meant that the pool area always felt overcrowded and unpleasant at times.

Pool area busy and spanish think they are entitled to all the loungers and parasols, be careful if you go for a dip - your lounger and parasol may be gone by the time you get back out.

As soon as the weekend arrived a couple of large groups of people arrived, I'm assuming they're regulars by the way they had little respect for the place, the whole pool area was a mess with litter and tables completely rearranged to suit their fancy, making it pretty much impossible to get a seat, the staff

In my opinion, one major thing that lets this hotel down is the pool area.

Food was poor with little choice unless you like plenty of stews.

Entertainment poor and pool small and over crowded.

The entertainment, was for children and was not suitable for all ages, again quite poor for a 4* hotel… 

The hotel don’t offer a Beach Towel service even through they have a linked beach which they offer the free bus for.

Firstly the internet in the rooms was very poor.

however the quality was poor and tasteless.

One poor man who was missing an eye didn’t see David appear in front of him from side on, he grabbed this mans chair and was literally flinging him round to the point drinks got shattered and the poor man looked as if he was going to come out of his chair, he was told to stop and the atmosphere in that particular area of the club died as it was just awkward.

So basically we lose out because of very poor planning by the hotel.

I found the food very poor and often very cold,  vegetarian options were very poor indeed, most salads contained fish/meat, the toasted sandwiches always contained ham.

we have visited griego hotel and was verry poor!!

It's cheap, poor quality food and was verg cold  ( both breakfast and dinner)
Although we had paid for half-board,  we ate out must evenings.

Food, sometimes ok mostly poor in quality, big scramble later in the evening

I doubt a Manager has even inspected the beach bar as anyone in their right mind would act immediately to rectify its poor state of hygiene.

but eatable , the pool area is poor , stuck in the eighties , and only half can be used for sunbathing because the hotel shades the rest .

The toilet seat had a crack in it and the shower head was really poor.

The evening entertainment was poor and the playground there unsteady and awful.

Entertainment very poor and the majority of it in Spanish, not fair for the non Spanish who have paid thousands to come here, same dancing every night then the tables get dragged along the floor at 11.30 with lights off, there's no atmosphere here,no good vibe or a sense it was a holiday.

There is not as many staff now serving behind the bars , cleaning etc, especially the coffee bar where the poor staff are stressed by having to make coffees, pour drinks, clean up glasses / ashtrays and any spillages, on our first visit there were two members.

The communication was very poor in this hotel as none of the receptionists had adequate English.

The food was very good and the hotel workers are very kind and helpful.

Book it as soon as you register in the hotel.

Lovely clean place staff are brilliant allround .

This hotel has a homely feel and is like a magnetic it keeps drawing you back and this is down to the management (Carl) and extremely hard working staff who go out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable

but staff were very efficient there and there were lots of choice of drinks including cocktails.
