We took the lift and our cases back up to the fifth floor and went back to “our” room.

My room was right across from the elevator, so it was a little annoying at night because there seemed to be a lot of action in the hall for a while,

Only complaint is that the elevators were very slow.

Our only other issue was the lift to the second floor; we could only use one and it was incredibly slow.

Elevators and hotel floor layout is a bit of a trick so be aware if you have mobility issues.

There did seem to be a long wait for the lift every time we wanted to use it (and late at night the noise from the rooftop bar carries down the lift shaft massively)

This also meant that we could walk down to the ground floor as the lifts did seem to be very slow.

There are 3 elevators, each one with it’s separate command.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A modern 'corporate' hotel with excellent, well furnished en-suite rooms.

The room was spotlessly clean and modern, there was a kettle and nespresso coffee machine, free safe and bath robes and slippers.

The rooms were light, airy, modern and exceptionally clean and the roof-top bar and pool was a winner!

The restaurant was modern Spanish, fused with European general.

The check in procedures, the staff and the general appearance and presentation of the hotel were perfect and the rooms are decorated in a modern yet classical style, with all the facilities you would expect and one of the most comfortable beds you can imagine.

The hotel has a real modern feel to it yet the historic features of the old part of the hotel are still visible.

The room and bathroom is big, modern and clean.

Lots of nice communal areas, great little rooftop bar with a dipping pool.

The roof top bar / terrace is great for views too.

But the rooftop bar is really cute, with great views, if perhaps very (even for Spain) slow service.

Rooftop bar is amazing, we spent a lot of time there.

Staff are very attentive, Jose at the roof top bar was absolutely brilliant.

Breakfast is amazing as is the rooftop bar.

We had a couple of drinks from the rooftop bar which were nicely prepared (the square of dark chocolate in the old fashioned was a lovely touch).

but the roof top bar was so disappointing.

It has a nice rooftop bar with a great view and nice drinks.

Downstairs bar was lovely at night whilst the rooftop bar was a lovely space to enjoy a drink.

There is a rooftop bar with a pool which was so nice and had even better views of the city.

Rooftop bar served amazing drinks especially the sangria.

The Roof top pool is amazing and the service from Sergio and the bar staff mixing up magic cocktails for us is second to none.

The roof top pool and bar is a welcome relief at the end of a day sightseeing.

Hotel Molina has everything you could want in a hotel – great location, hip rooftop pool, clean rooms, excellent bar and restaurant and fantastic service.

The hotel roof top pool was a godsend as one of the days was about 37 degrees so a dip in the pool was nice to cool off.

Hotel is used for business which meant that the roof top pool and deck area always had space.

Even his staff love him and everything with a smile.

By this stage our receptionist was probably breathing a sigh of relief, thinking we were tucked up and fast  asleep in bed.

Staff were welcoming and pleasant from the minute we arrived - a credit to the hotel .

The air con kept us awake at night, and sounded like a bubbling coffee percolator

Additionally, the staff on reception could not have been more disinterested.

The staff were really nice and attentive and the rooms were great; spacious, super clean, well-appointed.

The housekeeping service was very efficient.

We really could not fault anything about the hotel.We arrived around midday on 9th of December and were swiftly given our all inclusive wrist bands so the holiday started  right away.Food was excellent as we're all the staff.Plenty of bars and restaurants and pools.Rooms were modern and spacious and spotlessly clean.Overall a really excellent  holiday..We will definitely return..Many thanks from Kathleen and Allan Bowley.

We had a lovely five night break at this hotel which is 4* all inclusive.

Perfect location by the beach and just far enough away from the main resorts which you can reach with a 30 minute walk.Excellent stay, well managed all inclusive hotel.

The all inclusive selection of drinks is good, even Ballantines whisky if you ask for it.

The food was good for all inclusive and almost all day there was food offered somewhere on site—which is all included in the room price.

All inclusive means food and drink throughout the day and evening.

It was a bank holiday in Spain and the hotel was busy.

We had a fabulous stay, from checking in which was well organised as it was so busy, we could use all-inclusive from get go our room wasn't ready as it was early and 
a hour later reception emailed to say room was ready.

Food being an all inclusive, you expect same food not here , every lunch and dinner were different.

All staff are inclusive of everyone, they work really hard to give a 100% service.

We have stayed in many different RIU's this wasnt the same standard of all inclusive.

I would definitely recommend this hotel we all had the best time Everything was perfect we had the best holiday cannot wait to go back.

The weather was very good for November which helps with any holiday.

but first time with our baby so a different sort of holiday but I can say both times have been excellent.

We returned yesterday from our holiday Costa del sol is a lovely place and the hotel grounds, pools, rooms are beautiful couldn’t fault it.. the staff we found unfriendly very little communication  from the animation/activity team.. bar staff, restaurant staff also not very friendly.. we found the food in the buffet restaurant very repetitive lots of it

Also the food was never hot at best Luke warm and the choice very Ltd, The entertainment was poor.

Entertainment is poor, the staff basically cater for the Spanish guests.

but not great no showcooking very much pile it high for the number of guests (the reception said the hotel was full around 1600 guests) You could also book one of 3 restaurants,Italian buffet starter/sweet main very poor choice of 4 things served to the table.

The choice and standard of food was extremely limited and at times quite poor, unless you liked pork, as that seemed to be the meat of choice for every meal and we had vegetables several times that were virtually raw and completely unedible.

but it's true that some things were poor quality, especially the coffee which was horrible.

Despite the hard work and obvious skills of the Riu entertainments team it left a little to be desired due to the poor acoustics of the theatre, this is due to the low ceiling in the room, it was difficult to hear what was being said and when the music was being 0payed it was far too loud we  could hear it in our room in room 1803.

but in general the choices in that area of the food were poor in our opinion.

The cocktails are very poor as felt like to alcohol at all.

It just felt a little poor that they didn’t give us notice of this.

No ice creams available apart from meal times, poor quality cocktails and thin bath towels , none of these things affected the holiday .

but my wife prefers hotter

The one thing that was poor was the quality of the wine but didn’t ruin our holiday just drank more G&T’s !

I don’t know if all Riu hotels have gone downhill, or we just chose a poor example,

We have just spent 10 days at this hotel.The standard of food was very good.The staff are a credit to the hotel.The rooms are fine and kept very clean.The big let down was the standard of drinks,the pre-prepared cocktails are shocking,you would be better off having a wine gum.The wines are without doubt the worst we have ever come across,and Riu do themselves no favours having such poor quality drinks, even the staff comment on how poor they are.

but the  food really was poor, the same more or less every lunch and dinner and the quality, oh dear the last night I ended up having a burger!

We had a 2 week stay everything about the hotel was fantastic apart from the food the breakfast they were no sausage no mushrooms the bacon was poor quality and hard and the beans was horrible and they was sprouts there every morning.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful and extremely hard working.The evening entertainment was  good and there was various games going on during the day.

Entertainment team worked really hard to keep everybody happy.

Food choice excellent  lots of choice Entertainment  very good, choice of drinks excellent.

We didn’t really enjoy the Flamenco or the singer who were brought in on two evenings

Evening entertainment was good if on the cheesy side.

The animation team work so hard to provide the holiday makers with plenty and professional performances we enjoyed all the evening shows well done to them !!!

but the shows at this hotel are cruise standard.

In the evening there was always something different on.

The night entertainment is quite good and the entertainment team work really hard.

Plenty of out side bars for daytime use👍 Pity there was only limited seating in the evening in the lobby area both during and definitely after the entertainment finished!

The evening entertainment is good and drinks are served up quickly.

Great facilities, dining and entertainment.

Only thing that could have made the holiday better was to have some of the gas heaters down on the smoking terrace (at this time of year).

It such a shame some of this is spoilt by people smoking wherever they think is ok for themselves.

Specialist restaurants a waste of time, starters and sweats were same as in main restaurant only main course different,

Then once it was finished it felt a bit like a damp squib as the lights got partially dimmed and a generic playlist was put on the stereo.

but I was kinda put off by a very unpleasant smell in the seating area- not sure if it is a problem with drains or not.

but I really like it here food and drink always good entertainment is a bit cheesy but the team work very hard I do not normally revenue my holiday I have one small complaint smoking  they have special areas for this disgusting habit but the disgusting people think why can't I smoke where I like we were buy the children's pool people where smoking buy the pool with there own children in their pushchair disgusting I told the reception but I think they do not want to make them not happy

the service was exellent.i have stayed in other riu hotels which were far better than this.trying to get a seat at night in the main bar was a nightmare i wouldnt go back.there was allways a strong smell of sewage around the bar

Absolutley awful food like slop and barley warm hotel staff are rude and very unhelpful and to top it all off they say its ok for men with mental health issues to masturbate in the pool next to children which i find disgusting told the staff nothing was done about it.

Cleanliness was better than most, room was spotlessly clean as were the grounds, usual issues with odd dirty plates and cutlery, need to check your glasses every time you pick one up as some are filthy.

I would recommend that those people should book an adults only hotel instead as the discrimination we received was disgusting.

..There was a Spanish offer for the final weekend, the hotel was overun with Spanish people, pushing, shouting, smoking everywhere, screaming at the singer to sing in Spanish only!!!

There are only 2 smoking areas in the Hotel, one at La Carahuela ( pool & theatre bar & one at the Jardin bar near the Spa, both bars have a side for smokers and one for not, so in my opinion it isn't a problem as I'm a smoker myself.

I hate smoking and there is a designated area down at the bottom bar which in the day time and evening is busy with smokers and very smelly.

Firstly food, the food is poor at best, breakfast the choice is limited mostly undercooked, bread and pastries are stale.

A definite downside was that smokers and vapers gathered outside the front of the hotel by the entrance, so entering or leaving the hotel we had to pass through this unpleasant atmosphere.

Gold appealed to us for the early check in, International drinks, extended AI option, a La carte restaurants and no queues for drinks so at 14 Euros each per day was worth it.

No issue with that as it's all inclusive.

We upgraded to all inclusive gold on arrival purely and simply from reading reviews on this site.

(baring in mind we paid for all inclusive AND gold!) .

Definitely recommend all inclusive as the variety and quality of food/drinks will be suitable for everyone.

The train station is 10min walk, so this is a real plus as it opens up lots of places should you wish to venture out of AI.

My opinion would have the nicer room and stick with standard all inclusive.

Stayed hear for 9 nights all inclusive, upgraded to gold.

We had all inclusive gold and was well worth the extra money, faster service at bars ect, and sitting on terrace for dinners over looking beach and sea.

Compared to other all inclusive hotels we have been to this would rate the lowest.

We have had a brilliant week in this hotel, we booked All Inclusive Gold and it was an excellent choice.

Plenty of food included in the all inclusive with a snack bar that has great food to eat throughout the day.

We went gold all inclusive and would recommend it

The snack shack was brilliant and they work very hard in there, best thing about it was that you could eat outside which you cannot do in the dining hall unless you pay for AI gold.

However the pool bar was brilliant and the man cooking snacks was the most hardworking and friendly person I've experienced on holiday so a huge thank you.

I would stay here again, really nice hotel and staff who are friendly,polite,hard working.

Cleaning and bar staff (next to the restaurant NOT pool bar) were super friendly. .
