The sea is fantastic for a swim as the swimming pool is in the shade for a few hours in the afternoon with people leaving towels on beds unattended for an unacceptable length of time.

General environment - we're not the lounge by the pool all day type guests.

I THINK THIS HOTEL MIGHT HAVE BEEN A FOUR STAR YEARS AGO BUT NEEDS TO MOVE ON NO TOWELS AVALILABLE TO HIRE AROUND POOL AREA BATHROOMS VERY DATED AND SMALL MOST PARTS OF PUBLIC AREAS STINK OF CIGARETTE SMOKE SHOULD BE DELICATED AREAS ONLY EVEN ON THE SOLARIUM ON ROOF STILL SMOKING  ENTERTAINMENT AT NIGHT MOSTLY GEARED UP FOR CHILDREN   JUGGULAR/MAGICAN  ON THE GOOD SIDE THE FOOD WAS GOOD PLENTY TO PICK FROM AND HOT  BEEN TO OTHER SANDOS GROUP HOTELS BUT REALLY THIS ONE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT FOR UPGRADE

but was a cheap package deal The pool was very small for size of hotel needs a lot of upgrade around it we never sat round there because  no parasols up and was very hot.

Food was lovely.Plenty of choice.Restaurant was very busy and noisy and that wasn't a nice experience.Good choice of snacks available from bar.Didn't use swimming pool area as it was so small and so cramped

but bland so we ate out even on the last night.On the last night we were quite happily playing pool when the the bar staff suddenly turned the volume up to a dangerous level.Everybody lept in the room looking over to the bar area where the bar tender was celebrating a couples love for each other.My hearing got damged that night and I had tinnitus all night.

If you are a sun worshipper then the pool isn't for you as only half the pool gets sunshine all day.

but the pool area was way to crowded but good that they shut of sun beds until certain time so everyone got an equal dibs of sun beds but not enough room by the pool and sometimes got splashed when on sun bed as not enough room but that could’ve been due to it being summer holidays and peak season which is understandable!!

The pool area can get a little hetic as its not very big and you only get the sun at one end.

The sound of "bye bye" will forever be embedded in my brain from the pool bingo game.

The pool area though is chaotic, unless you get there early you won't have room for a sun lounger, also 2 of the days by the pool were very loud some form of entertainment, mixture of elderly Germans, Brexit type British , elderly Spanish and a smattering of other nationalities

I never went to the pool so I can’t comment on this

The pool is too small for so big hotel and when guests use  big inflatables in it or play football that doesn’t let other people to enjoy the pool.

One downside was the pool area, if you were not in the queue by 9am then there is zero chance of getting a bed,especially in the sun as 3/4 of the sunbeds are in the shade by 1pm.

Sunbeds end up 1 ft from edge of pool and not enough room to swing the preverable cat!

The pool isn't big enough for the amount of ppl staying here!

Pool area is very basic and there's not nearly enough space for the amount of people staying at the hotel.

If there was a medical emergency in the pool it would be really difficult for the lifeguard to get to the pool quickly unless they are an Olympic gymnast who could pole vault over the rows of jam packed sun beds.

There are some bars with only one person serving drinks - some AI guests were ordering seven or eight drinks at a time and passing them along to other guests further back in the queue that they'd formed friendships with.

and no sleep Your staff need to learn about what is a safe volume and a dangerous one.This was just so selfish and avoidable.If you have a set of golf clubs the lifts are very small and you could end up waiting on changeover days and having to walk down 6 flight of stairs with your clubs.If you are a active wheelchair user like my wife who was not with me at the time do not go to this hotel the ramp to reception and bar area is good

The layout is not great  so you were constantly in the way of people queing to get drinks or toast.

People do queue from 9am to reserve a sun bed

Such a horrible awkward vibe when people are standing with their towels are 8.45am waiting to try and grab a sunbed before they all go!

Queues for drinks were long due to them only having in general 1 x member of staff serving 

Next the pool area!!!

Be prepared to queue whether it be for food, drinks or for the use of the lifts.

The hotel needs to have a separate still which would halve the queue.

Pool area was not for us as there is people who start lining up and waiting for the chains to be removed.

The glass in the balcony door dislodged from frame an accident waiting to happen  complained

Poor food , We had better food in a 3 star hotel in Benidorm and Why are people queuing to get hot water from a coffee machine for tea, surely there should a separate hot water boiler. 3.

And queues at bar could be improved if adults got kids drinks instead of them queuing on their own.

Drinks believe me you will have to queue only one serving.

but the last two days were totally spoilt .Our last night we ended up in bed by 10pm due to the fact again no seats in either bars or the two seating areas around the reception,the queue for drinks went outside both bars it was ridiculous and again the shouting was so loud it gave you a headache.

Hotel is old and accessibility was a real problem with only 4 lifts and constant queues.

They will literally push you out of the way and walk in front of you in a queue to make sure they get on before you and get a seat.

You can Hear EVERYTHING from EVERYWHERE !

This certainly isn't the hotel for you if you are looking for a quiet break, entertainment is very loud.

Our room was next to an extremely noisy lift!

Pipes were really noisy at night, they bang and crash and make all sorts of weird noises right through the walls.

Unfortunately you can hear all the noise from the coming and goings within the corridor.

Always noise either from background music or lots of children running around.

This suited us as our room was near the stage so you didn't have loud music pounding out till the early hours.

all inclusive guests are intitled to 1 dinner at the “italian” restaurant “la gioconda” we did hear good things about this restaurant so had hope.. as we went in the waiter told us that it is also self service buffet food.. and i must say it is certainly not a italian restaurant… chicken was pink food was cold and the only thing that was hot was vegetable soup.

Staff were brilliant, especially the chambermaid,BUT,if this is a family holiday hotel, why on earth are tribes of 18-30,Yr olds acting like 8 yr olds when drunk, keeping residents awake all night long, also the pool area is too congested along with greedy towel harbouring sunbed OWNERS!

Poor sleep because of no sound proofing in walls,  2.

Not to mention the room I was in.. the noise of it moving up and down non stop throughout the night was like torture.

The biggest let down for us was the noise at night!!

The entertainment at night was never outside was indoors an not the best an way to loud.

Noise late at night from outside and on corridor from guests (shouting, running up and down & doors slamming) Best asking for non pool view and high floor if want undisturbed sleep.

Pool area too small for the volume of guests & a lot of noisy UK & Spanish residents.

most nights groups of guests would be sitting around this area talking loudly till late in the morning.

Rooms spotless, food great and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Praise for reception , a very clean room with fridge , generous toiletries and for what we paid the food was reasonable quality/choice with efficient restaurant staff and no queuing with the snack bar open late.

Rooms very clean and staff all very friendly.

but rooms where clean staff was lovely very polite and helpful.

The room was clean and of a decent size, complimentary bottle of Prosecco and water was provided.

It was approx  15year since we last here the room was very clean and  towels left each time .We enjoyed all inclusive The soup was to die for All the stall were so attentive .

The room was kept clean and had nice amenities.

but you don't have to use them ( €7 per bed, with a third bed free for that day or one free for next day)

but layout poor only room for a small number of guests to seat in entertainment area and seats go quickly!

For all inclusive guests, it was a bit frustrating to keep finding things that weren't "included".

To sum it up, as  solo guest, I wouldn't stay here again, maybe if Blue Sea group can put in some investment and upgrade the place

Not a good experience, most of the hotel staff and guests were extremely rude, unless you were Spanish, then they seemed to get treated a bit better.

Why, I've no idea, it was over 30 degrees @ 8pm and guests still sat on the loungers.

During our stay this time, we were returning guests we did not use the hotel for any excursions we had a previous bad experience with one and it was the same guy selling them.

Communication to non Spanish speaking guests is very poor.

but I've overheard clients being .the all inclusive cover all drinks but if you don't know the contents of your cocktail you might struggle .

In April/May the opening times were 11 - 17hrs, staying open till at least 18:00 over the May weekend would have been appreciated by many of the guests.

Initially the staff on reception  were not very supportive insisting we called the police rather than take ownership of their duty of care to paying guests.

Main pool closed at 17.00hrs everyday, leaving the rooftop pool open to a large hotel full of guests in a small pool.

Or just do bed and breakfast for guests who go to bed by 9pm as they are bored out of their minds.

The hotel was mainly full of elderly guests who where forever jumping the queues for the elevators.

Therefore I feel he should have done everything possible for his guest.

We visited the bar in the evening and was very disappointed to find all inclusive guests got preferential treatment at the bar leaving us standing with cash in our hand.

Good selection of food every day and if you got there early enough you would miss the rush and avoid any queues 
There was a good system with the sun beds where if you were gone for long periods of time a member of staff would remove towels to allow other guests to enjoy the pool areas.

However the hotel could make effort to include foreign guests too.

but I would say could be a bit bigger or should have a second pool for the amount of guests who are trying to get a sunbed.

We also had to report our neighbouring room guests for very loud conversations between themselves and other rooms from their balcony on at least one account until 0400hrs.

The whole hotel is too small for the number of guests, which seems to breed insanity amongsts its residents.

The drinks included are minimal, the food quality & options poor to say the least.

but would not have breakfast if I stayed again it was very poor choice/selection.

Entertainment was very poor, waited two hours for a magician, for the show to be in Spanish.

On the first day we didnt get a room what my partner had booked, there was 2 seperate beds and little balcony with no view really, the room looked very poor.

but average, tasteless,drinks very poor 
We have stayed here a few times but look elsewhere the next time we are in torremolinos.

The rooms are dated, old fashioned TV and aircon…
Entertainment is very poor.

but clean .went for dinner no staff spoke very poor terrible only chicken or pork and fish for the whole week meat was of poor quality the desserts were the same every day for lunch and dinner staff very untidy.

Ice creams are not all inclusive either and the activities during the day and evening were very poor .

*Restaurant  - the same food every night and of a poor quality 1* rating.

Very poor hotel our room was dated which in itself is no problem

The only thing that let the hotel down was the food, we found it quite poor, we only go bed and breakfast now.

Food not great, poor selection and 9 times out of 10 cold.Chose hotel as I had stayed a couple of years ago and the food was fantastic, not so now.

No dressings Tapas cold and looked like breakfast sausage, mushrooms were used so poor.

but snacks were poor burger hot dog and chips ever day let in heaters for hours Would not go back unless there was a lot of improvements

Barcafe area can be very noisy because there are no soft furnishings to absorb sound.

We heard the bins empty at 3am while they had noise from people on the street below.

Also I was in room 121 and quite noisy as road directly in front.

Once you close your balcony door it shuts out a lot of noise.

but within 30 minutes it was leaking all night again, constant dripping from the unit, with most of the towels used to stop me slipping but I was leaving next morning so never bothered reporting it again, also the back kept falling off the tv remote, appeared to have been stuck down with glue which had dried up.

Really disappointed with jet 2 regarding branding this as a 4 star and charging what they do, basically pay the price

Another bad point is the paper thin walls you can here everything from the next room so you can imagine what I didn’t want to hear from next door on numerous occasions thankfully I didn’t have young children with me .

Often stops above or below the floor (i tripped twice) sound like scary, little headroom and no air circulation.

but mainly the noise levels and disruption caused by many school children checking in.

I was the floor above and I could hear them all night.

I then got stuck in the lift for almost 15 minutes, after pressing the alarm I was told a technician would come, presumably reset it by turning it off and back on again as all of the lights suddenly went out, there was a jolt and a loud noise, and the lift started again, I was deposited on the 8th floor with nobody there to apologise or let me know what had happened (I was really quite scared!).

Once checked in the room was equally disappointing, appearing to be straight from the 80s and with a mattress that felt like it had been in constant use since that time - individual bed springs were identifiable when it was first sat on.

The room walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the room nextdoor and

The walls are so thin you can hear every door SLAM shut starting at about 6am so no use trying to sleep in.

I witnessed an elderly couple quite distressed due  to the noise.

Contrary to the advertising, the sound separation between rooms is not good.

The room was very clean and tidy with a very warm powerful shower.

but the rooms was clean and looked after well by staff.

The Bed was comfortable the room was clean

Room are spotless and comfortable which is all you need really!

Rooms are clean, large and most have a balcony.

The food excellent choices rooms cleaned every day hotel spotless well situated for exploring town and beach easily accessible with lift 5 minutes from hotel only thing to say was the entertainment could be better

If you like pork or chicken  legs you will be ok for meat choice.same every evening.lift are impossible to get at meal times so walking down top floors is normal .Very clean rooms and beds done every day .

the rooms are clean and comfortable, and have a little terrace, usually with a sea view, the all inclusive is very good, and plenty of nice salads, freshly cooked fish and a nice rosado wine.

Nice hotel in a great central location with very friendly staff, decent sized rooms, good pool, great kiddies pool which is also shaded most of the day, good breakfast, and rooms cleaned to a high standard every day.

The hotel overall is clean albeit rooms a bit dated.

Hotel and rooms were spotless and the staff worked really hard, really couldn’t fault the cleanliness.

The place was brilliant from start to finish staff were amazing rooms so clean and cleaned everyday food was good loads of different choices only thing was we wish the entertainment was better

A bit if a mix up with the booking (my card was declined for some reason and hotel could not contact me while I was travelling so they cancelled the 2 rooms!

The Hotel is not on the airport and a taxi/car is required to get there - be aware the charge for a taxi (for such a short ride) is approximately 15-20 euros.

the front desk personnel conspire with taxi drivers to charge you 20-25 euros for that trip-even though it was 4am, an uber would have charged 5-6 euros (done it before),

If you don’t have a car, this hotel is complicated and somewhat dangerous to get to from the airport on foot
While it’s less than 2km away, there is no airport shuttle and the walk is quite treacherous, alongside a busy street with no sidewalk, and across a large roundabout, while pulling luggage. The minimum charge for a taxi is 19 euros (!)

however its not on the Airport, taxi is 19 euro’s minimum charge or 1 mile walk involving crossin very busy roundabout or a small section on the hard shoulder.

Their Wi-fi was compromised which lead to a fraudulent use of my credit card.

If one calls a taxi from the hotel, it charges you Euro 15 minimum, which is a lot of money.

Our taxi charged a fixed price of 18 Euros for a 4 minute ride.

It is the closest hotel to the airport and the terminal is just about walkable if you are desperate to avoid the expensive 15 euro taxi charge.

but we were ripped off (as the airport is only 1km away) and charged 20.

You have to either wait a public bus, which comes only every 30 minutes for one stop only and charges 3 euro per person.

If you pull the card out of the card reader all lights and TV will shut off.

but to get there you need to take a taxi which cost you 20 euro ( this is what they charge you) although its 5 min walk from the airport.

I refused as i knew how close the hotel was and the fee they were charging was not proportionate.

Taxi was €15 (which is the minimum charge).

but there is a minimum charge in the region of 25 Euro.

but Goldcar charged us 14 euro for returning it out of hours.!!

Just be careful if you have a taxi transfer as they will try and charge too much.

The room was clean and functional, good for an overnight stop before an early morning flight.

Everyone is very helpful, rooms are clean and we have been greeted every morning with a smile.

Good tidy rooms and the free wifi redeems anything that is possibly wrong.

but taxi will cost €20 at night or €15 at day time or €4 shuttle bus till midnight.

Hotel is not walkable from the Airport so you will need a taxi which is around 15/20 euros.

Thus, one has the following options to get to the airport:

1. taxi: The taxi drivers demand 20 euros „microservice“ for 1.5 km drive.

If they'd had a shuttle to and from airport it would be five stars because taxi is expensive and bus with luggage is not that much fun.

Minimum  the minimum taxi fare of €20- each way-  needs factoring into your accommodation costs !

A taxi to the d Airport at 5:30 was €5, took a few goes to book (I guess drivers don’t want the short trip)

Clean hotel approximately 1.6km from terminal building, not walkable and taxi required at a cost of approximately 20euros each way.

Advise would be to stay in Malaga centre for the night and get a taxi direct.

Not close enough to the airport, you have to take a taxi and the starting fee from the airport is 15 euros,

It'' cost you $80 to go get some food from town, with taxi back and forth.

No shuttle so it cost 15 euros for a taxi drive here.

We wouldn’t book again based on this alone. If I knew I would have to pay so much for a taxi I would have just booked a place downtown (an Uber w downtown cost 12 euros)

Minimum fare taxi means that 1km journey costs €15 each way !

No shuttle to the airport which lead to a €15 taxi charge for a 2 mile journey.

Worst steak I have ever had, rude staff and very expensive.

but be self catering only as we was all inclusive and local beer tea coffee was only in that no spirits inclusive had to pay 
Disappointed really as hotel nice but need to change all inclusive policy and change restaurant menus as nobody wants chips burgers fish fingers etc everyday for snacks and same with main restraunt breakfast pretty dire aswell dinner meats not cooked

Water at the Hotel is scarce and their bottles are very expensive so get your own.

Overall, i wouldn't return or recommend this hotel as the price does not reflect the quality of stay.

but you have to pay for them even with all inclusive but that is the only bad thing

however they don’t tell you about the safe which you need to pay to hire, it would be helpful if they told you at the point of check in.

but taxis are not expensive if you don’t fancy the walk.
