Breakfasts were great with a large buffet selection and a show cooking station for omelettes etc.Location is good and very easy to get there via train from the airport or nationwide.

It's spolessly clean, the breakfast and evening meal is exceptional and the location is second to none.

We really enjoyed everything about the hotel… the bed was so comfy and huge, a good shower and a delicious choice of breakfast… including Cava which made my birthday breakfast extra special with a Mimosa!

On a positive, the breakfast was phenomenal and the other staff we met were great.

- Really in the middle of everything: above trainstation (which you don't hear at all) + above large shopping mall (600 meters further another large shopping mall) + 5 meters from taxi + above 4/5 rent a car companies within 5 meters + 17 min walk to old city centre
- Modern building with slide in the middle --> eyecandy + nice rooftop with a small pool

- Clean + really nice XXL beds
- For my birthday i received a small attention / present + card

Breakfast was wonderful.

We booked a ‘superior’ room which was on the 4th floor and there was nothing superior about this room, what we were given was a filthy horrible room covered in mould with sockets hanging off the walls and far from clean.

Letdowns:
Bathroom sink and tub water drains extremely slow.

The omelette each and every time was under cooked on the inside and burned on the outside.

and wallpaper is coming off in the rooms, there’s mold in bathroom.

The day we were leaving, I had a nasty fall over a kerb whilst out in Malaga, causing me to injure my jaw and splitting my chin open.

There's really no need for such a strong scent in the reception area either.

The wall plug in the bathroom was hanging from the wall, the metal towel rack/Hester was disgustingly filthy, and the room was in desperately in need of repair & paint, I even had a colleague come to my room to see how disgusting a red fabric chair was.

Someone please get some Exit Mould or even just vinegar and spray this all over the bathroom.

Also there is a bit of smell from a drain in my room.

Rooms had musty smells from heat and no AC.

however there was a unpleasant damp smell.

Only downside was awful smell of dirty drains on sixth floor which pervaded our room and the plug hole stop in the bathroom wash basin which wouldn’t stay up to let water drain so we had to keep it lifted up by hand while running water

They did smell a bit smoky when you first entered.

however it needs some maintenance: finishings were quite poor and overall it looked shabby, with many scratches on the walls and mold stains in the walk-in shower.

even though the pool smelled like chlorine the water was a bit dirty.

Musty smell in the rooms ..I tried two rooms, both had it.

The room I was offered had a water damage and a smell that affected my nose.

- About 2/3 queues at checkout
- Smell in the reception was quite strong it gave me a headache (personal tolerance)
- No views out the window as it's attached to a railway station

- If your stay is for business it's a great location
- If for a holiday, it's about a 20 minute walk to the centre/port area which is where the main attractions are so I would suggest finding a hotel nearer there.

however is a bit grimy, and can, in places, smell of what I can only describe as toilet drains. .

but its occupants must have checked out very early indeed for the staff to have it in such pristine condition shortly after breakfast time.

Breakfast is available at the restaurant downstairs, and it's definitely worth it.

We had breakfast 2 out of 4 mornings during our stay.

The staff are great, breakfast was lovely, the rooms are really nice and the hotel is very clean.

Breakfast is amazing as is the rooftop bar.

Breakfast is buffet style and very good with a wide choice of foo and drink.

Plus breads and cakes, of course, and cereals.

We only ate one breakfast in the hotel which was perfectly fine, a typical good buffet selection.

Breakfast in hotel restaurant was convenient with good coffee. The rooftop pool was chilly in January (obviously, winter!)

You can order fresh sweet and savoury items like eggs, omelettes, avocado on toast, churros or Crepes,

Breakfast is plentiful and great choice from the buffet.

We took the lift and our cases back up to the fifth floor and went back to “our” room.

My room was right across from the elevator, so it was a little annoying at night because there seemed to be a lot of action in the hall for a while,

Only complaint is that the elevators were very slow.

Our only other issue was the lift to the second floor; we could only use one and it was incredibly slow.

Elevators and hotel floor layout is a bit of a trick so be aware if you have mobility issues.

There did seem to be a long wait for the lift every time we wanted to use it (and late at night the noise from the rooftop bar carries down the lift shaft massively)

This also meant that we could walk down to the ground floor as the lifts did seem to be very slow.

There are 3 elevators, each one with it’s separate command.

* The elevators are unreasonably slow, and thus the stairs were much faster,

The lifts are a bit of an adventure, lucky dip if it is programmed to stop at the correct floor.

There are a few lifts, some only going to certain floors - take note!

The only negative was that if you were up on the 8th floor at the rooftop pool it could take quite some time for the lift to arrive & vice versa back to the 1st floor where our room was.

And then, hotel staff parked our car using a car elevator!

I had booked many months in advance and requested a first floor room as my wife wont use lifts

We had requested a room not near an elevator and when we went to the room it was located outside the elevator.

The breakfast again was okay plenty of choice from eggs and hot food to cereals and pastries etc.

The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of items—several kinds of cheese, salami, and ham, fresh fruit, cold cereals, yogurt, eggs, bacon, and various breads and pastries.

Breakfast was buffet style, with lots of choice, and we stuffed ourselves each time, avoiding the need for lunch.

A great breakfast buffet and very friendly and attentive staff.

As the hotel is so near to a great many restaurants and cafes we were going out for breakfast each morning which is much more reasonably priced.

Stayed here whilst at a conference, nice comfortable clean room with plenty of space to work, breakfast was great, plenty of choice, the staff are super helpful and when our flight was delayed they allowed us to spend time in the hotel

We first had a room that was going to be too small for a long stay so we asked to upgrade and got the family room.

We don’t recommend to book the budget/small room as it is really small and has just a view on a wall.

Our initial room was quite small and we asked to be moved - there was no problem and we were moved to a larger room the following day.

Didn't give it 5 stars because our room was a little small.

The hotel itself was quite nice, the room was a bit small, and the air con non adjustable, we are from the north and notice the heat.

Room was small as it is to be expected in Europe.

We booked a double room & on checking in we were told the room was small.

We returned back to the hotel went up to the room and in the corridor by our room which was a small corridor off the main corridor the cleaning staff had left their trolley and cleaning equipment, this i thought nothing of until about 10 mins later when they all seemed to meet and talk and laugh this went on for about 45 mins to an hour, again not my idea of selling someone a romantic deal.

Anyway, rather narrow bed and small room didn’t matter much as we were just going to only sleep there.

Last year was a beautiful room for the 3 of us.This year we got a small room.Very small.It was ideal for a family as it had a bunkbed.You could not use the upper bunk as no safety rail to prevent child from rolling out in their sleep.

My room was a bit small, considering the price paid.

On the Sunday of the race a 6am early breakfast ‘picnic’ was arranged for us, we were left a little good luck gift & a motivational postcard which was a delightful, unexpected, personal touch.

And the service on top of all was amazing, breakfast had a big variations of food and so did the other meals!

The breakfasts were plentiful and the entire experience was positive.

Lovely breakfast and all the staff were polite and extremely helpful with local knowledge.

Breakfast was good - good variety of options and nice quality food/ drink.

In addition to this, the staff were happy to make additional items to order such as omelettes, waffles and why’s cooked any way  you may desire!

A very  good breakfast, a great poolarea with a minipool were they serve snacks and drinks and its perfect to use after a day the beach or visiting museum or a shopping day.

With a nice pool on the roof where you can cool off, the hotelroom was quiet, clean and spacious and the breakfast very delicious and plentiful.

Awesome breakfast which is served by the kindest and friendliest staff.

Breakfast had everything you could wish for with a few local ‘delicacies’ to add a little surprise.

The main negative point of the room was the bathroom, as it had a horrible smell of dump/stagnating water; this issue must be related to the fact that the rather defective bathtub/shower spilled a lot of water on the floor.

The common areas are really luxurious and you never seem to be far from from greenery and running water.

Got small bottles of water and a chocolate on the bed in the evening.

There was a small Nespresso machine in the room and pods for this and two types of tea bags, although the water would need to be heated thru the Nespresso machine as no kettle provided, Mini Bar in room

This took me a while and when I looked up, Salva had come back with a glass of cold water which honestly was a Godsend.

There was a layer of grime all the way around the edge of the water and the filters were black with dirt.

Only second night were we offered water before bedtime.

In the fridge, there were two 0.33 L water bottles on arrival,

but sadly the bathtub drained VERY slowly, so within 3 minutes you’re ankle deep in tub water that wouldn’t go down.

It’s poor maintenance, especially the bathroom, the staff did not pay much attention to fill up with towels, water etc in the public areas.

A complementary water at the welcoming only.

but water ran down the walls and badly finished sealant at shower screens gave a tired look.

My only complaint is the major design flaw of the shower - the water leaked all over the floor of the bathroom.

Lastly, every time you take a shower the water leaks all over the floor.. not a lot

More still water should be available in rooms at no charge.

Surprisingly for a 5star hotel, there was no bottled water supplied.

But the bathroom is a catastrophy: too dark to see well in the mirror, the water in the sink is not leaving, the water from the shower leaks through the shower stall door, some light bulbs are out of order.

Firstly, for a five star hotel, I would expect bottled water to be complementary and not charged at the minibar.

a white sliced bread ham sandwich, a banana, a bottle of water, some rice cakes and a small piece of fruit cake.

Now onto the biggest joke of the lot 4 euros for water in the room !

Breakfast has a really good selection, we loved the freshly made omelettes and enjoyed watching them being made as much as eating them, the lady on the station multi tasks so many different items it's great to watch.

The food in the buffet is excellent and there is always something that you will like.

Breakfast is good, plenty of choice and a superb gluten free section specifically for those with an intolerance or are coeliac.

On October 12th, we were pleasantly surprised at breakfast; a female team was grilling perfectly.

Must say I feel the breakfast choices has improved.

The staff and the animation team are a credit so many exciting shows the staff are so friendly the managers are excellent so is the food is delicious the rooms were spotless and a beautiful hotel and fantastic scenery’s and the security are great

but could not fault breakfast catered fir every nationality.

Food wise there was plenty of choice with two cooking stations at Breakfast and Dinner.

Buffet restaurant was also excellent with a very wide choice of good quality food to suit all tastes.

Breakfasts were perfect with everything you could want.

We stayed on a half board basis so we’re able to avail of breakfast daily and it could only be described as a feast for all tastes with hot and cold food, breads , yoghurts , smoothies etc etc.

Food: delicious & plentiful, something different every night.

We had half board which worked out well for us- we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.

but we always were waited on and given at least 1, at breakfast you get your own drinks ie coffee, fruit juices, tea and even Cava.

And the timings of the meal are great too, with the option of the pool buffet should you prefer meaning you never go hungry - we ate like royalty!

This is about our seventh stay at the Don Pablo hotel in Torremolinos , our stay was half board, breakfast & Evening dinner, a great selection of cold & hot dishes, something for everybody to sample.

We had to use the duvet which the maid, on most days, did not put a cover on so the bed looked very poor.

One poor lady tripped and broke two fingers.

The only area that I felt left down the complete experience was the check in where I felt that the information given by the lady was very poor and we had to ask for directions to lift , time of breakfast etc

Rating 1 to 6 where 1 is very poor and 6 is very good.

Food poor quality probably due to losses made in Covid, always managed to find something to eat.

The resturaunt food is of a poor standard, even the coffee and orange juices seem to be of a low quality to previous years, thankfully the Cava at breakfast times has remained which is a great thing to dull the other faults, we are used to Spanish breakfasts

They just kept huddled in their own little group this year, poor.

Only disappointment were the cocktails which were poor.

but the evening meal was quite poor unless you like fried pork and fried fish and oven chips.

Food was fresh, very poor choice of drinks for dinner for the high price,

Drinks, all the best drinks at this hotel, which really does make a big difference when all inclusive, proper Bacardi, Larios Gin, Smirnoff vodka, Baileys, none of the local poor tasting drinks.

The drinks choice was poor and of poor quality and overpriced.The entertainment was mainly in Spanish.

Very very poor selection unless you want pizza or chips or fish.

Just back from 6 nights in this beautiful hotel , it’s the 3rd time we have stayed here and will be the last,,,, the food was less than adequate and caters for the European tourists, lack of choice and very poor quality made to having to eat out on 3 occasions 
The sun beds cannot be reserved and after a 50 minute lunch in the hotel restaurant we returned to a message pegged to our beds saying they will be repossessed if we were away for longer than 50 minutes!!!

Evening entertainment was very poor, some acts on twice in a week, could and should have been better.

Sound isolation is poor, you can hear whilst your next door neighbour takes a shower, brushes teeth, argues with the other half, etc  … the reception lady on the first night was friendly

but the food in the restaurant very poor bland and very little choice we stayed half board but the evening meal very poor and very strange mixtures.

I got two nights poor sleep because the AC fan could only blow hot air and no cool air!

The check-in was quite slow, as last time, as there was a group of tourists hogging all the three queues at the same time - talking to each other - with staff not paying any attention to the length of the queue.

Other mealtimes they have to come and take your drink order at the table, this can be very slow.

Check in was very slow ,took us 20 minutes to get through the process.

Elevators too slow; was low season and we had always to wait quite a bit to get one on our floor, don't wanna imagine during high season.

However you didn’t which meant a queue almost every time I passed and staff members who were generally unhelpful and very slow.

Only thing is check in and check out is extremely slow.

Customer service at the front desk is very slow and response to questions quite abrupt.

The only thing to complain about is the WIFI in the room which was very slow, if you want to upload today's pictures to a cloud service, you had to choose pictures as not everyone can get along.

Reception staff were very slow and at times didn’t appear sure of what they were doing.

Like the location to airport and beach, been to hotel many times, service at bar is slow, they will talk to each other and ignore you, it doesn’t matter if your all inclusive or bed and breakfast, sometimes only one staff serving.

We arrived 9.30 p.m. check in was a bit slow,

but majority weren’t friendly and we would avoid asking them questions as they were rude 
Service at the dinner tables was very slow we waited 20 minutes on one occasion to order our drinks and that was after I got up to gain the waiters attention 

Overall the stay was average unfortunately the staff let it down.

The Check in was EXTREMELY slow after a long day's travel as there were people who just wanted to ask a simple query in the same queue as guests who were checking in.

Sometimes the service waiting for a drink was a bit slow

More Staff in the bars and restaurant as service can be very slow at times.
