but its occupants must have checked out very early indeed for the staff to have it in such pristine condition shortly after breakfast time.

Breakfast is available at the restaurant downstairs, and it's definitely worth it.

We had breakfast 2 out of 4 mornings during our stay.

The staff are great, breakfast was lovely, the rooms are really nice and the hotel is very clean.

Breakfast is amazing as is the rooftop bar.

Breakfast is buffet style and very good with a wide choice of foo and drink.

Plus breads and cakes, of course, and cereals.

We only ate one breakfast in the hotel which was perfectly fine, a typical good buffet selection.

Breakfast in hotel restaurant was convenient with good coffee. The rooftop pool was chilly in January (obviously, winter!)

You can order fresh sweet and savoury items like eggs, omelettes, avocado on toast, churros or Crepes,

breakfast was included and was simple and what you would expect - it would be nice to be offered the hotter options as we didn’t realise we could get those until after we had finished our last breakfast!.

We took the lift and our cases back up to the fifth floor and went back to “our” room.

My room was right across from the elevator, so it was a little annoying at night because there seemed to be a lot of action in the hall for a while,

Only complaint is that the elevators were very slow.

Our only other issue was the lift to the second floor; we could only use one and it was incredibly slow.

Elevators and hotel floor layout is a bit of a trick so be aware if you have mobility issues.

There did seem to be a long wait for the lift every time we wanted to use it (and late at night the noise from the rooftop bar carries down the lift shaft massively)

This also meant that we could walk down to the ground floor as the lifts did seem to be very slow.

There are 3 elevators, each one with it’s separate command.

Very friendly reception staff, room was lovely, clean and modern.

A modern 'corporate' hotel with excellent, well furnished en-suite rooms.

but modernised inside with everything very clean too.

The room was spotless, larger than I expected, modern and well appointed.

The room was spotlessly clean and modern, there was a kettle and nespresso coffee machine, free safe and bath robes and slippers.

The rooms were light, airy, modern and exceptionally clean and the roof-top bar and pool was a winner!

The check in procedures, the staff and the general appearance and presentation of the hotel were perfect and the rooms are decorated in a modern yet classical style, with all the facilities you would expect and one of the most comfortable beds you can imagine.

The hotel has a real modern feel to it yet the historic features of the old part of the hotel are still visible.

The room and bathroom is big, modern and clean.

But the rooftop bar is really cute, with great views, if perhaps very (even for Spain) slow service.

Staff are very attentive, Jose at the roof top bar was absolutely brilliant.

We had a couple of drinks from the rooftop bar which were nicely prepared (the square of dark chocolate in the old fashioned was a lovely touch).

The hotel roof top pool was a godsend as one of the days was about 37 degrees so a dip in the pool was nice to cool off.

Breakfasts were great with a large buffet selection and a show cooking station for omelettes etc.Location is good and very easy to get there via train from the airport or nationwide.

It's spolessly clean, the breakfast and evening meal is exceptional and the location is second to none.

We really enjoyed everything about the hotel… the bed was so comfy and huge, a good shower and a delicious choice of breakfast… including Cava which made my birthday breakfast extra special with a Mimosa!

We spent the day at the rooftop pool and it was very relaxing (and quiet given this hotel is in the centre of Malaga next to the bus and train stations)

Hotel is comfortable clean and has good facilities including small rooftop pool and bar.

The hotel has a nice rooftop pool with a bar and the beach is within walking distance.

On our first day we chilled at the roof top pool and bar which was really nice.

There is a slide down to reception, and a small rooftop pool and sun terrace and bar.

On the last day we used the fab roof top pool which was warm enough to swim in.

but finding ourselves with unseasonably fabulous weather, we wanted to make use of the rooftop pool and relaxation area, but the bar there was still closed down and there were no staff available to provide drinks, etc.

The rooms are very comfortable and there are number of amenities including a rooftop pool , bar and  terrace.

The rooftop pool was fantastic, heated to a warm (not hot) temperature, and big enough to do lengths- even if you have to do more of them to make up your distance.

Shopping centre is next to the station and there's a handy supermarket.

The hotel is also very well located just 15 min walk from the city centre with direct access to shopping centre and train station which I found super convenient.

The shopping centre is open until 10pm and has a number of places to eat.

The city center, the train station, shopping centers and the beach are close by.

There are 2 shopping centres either next to or close by for those who like to shop.

We had one very wet day so took advantage of the shops in the station complex and just up the road in the shopping centre and El Cortes Ingles.

Excellent location as it is built into the shopping centre of the train station and over the road from the bus station.

It is a quirky hotel with a slide in it, also next door to a shopping centre and supermarket, ideal for buying snacks for your onward travel plans.

We booked a ‘superior’ room which was on the 4th floor and there was nothing superior about this room, what we were given was a filthy horrible room covered in mould with sockets hanging off the walls and far from clean.

Letdowns:
Bathroom sink and tub water drains extremely slow.

The omelette each and every time was under cooked on the inside and burned on the outside.

and wallpaper is coming off in the rooms, there’s mold in bathroom.

The day we were leaving, I had a nasty fall over a kerb whilst out in Malaga, causing me to injure my jaw and splitting my chin open.

There's really no need for such a strong scent in the reception area either.

The wall plug in the bathroom was hanging from the wall, the metal towel rack/Hester was disgustingly filthy, and the room was in desperately in need of repair & paint, I even had a colleague come to my room to see how disgusting a red fabric chair was.

Someone please get some Exit Mould or even just vinegar and spray this all over the bathroom.

Also there is a bit of smell from a drain in my room.

Rooms had musty smells from heat and no AC.

however there was a unpleasant damp smell.

Only downside was awful smell of dirty drains on sixth floor which pervaded our room and the plug hole stop in the bathroom wash basin which wouldn’t stay up to let water drain so we had to keep it lifted up by hand while running water

They did smell a bit smoky when you first entered.

however it needs some maintenance: finishings were quite poor and overall it looked shabby, with many scratches on the walls and mold stains in the walk-in shower.

even though the pool smelled like chlorine the water was a bit dirty.

- at 8 AM breakfast was a bit chaotic, many products were missing and took about 30 minutes to te refreshed (bread was missing, only toast available)

Musty smell in the rooms ..I tried two rooms, both had it.

The room I was offered had a water damage and a smell that affected my nose.

- About 2/3 queues at checkout
- Smell in the reception was quite strong it gave me a headache (personal tolerance)
- No views out the window as it's attached to a railway station

Other
- If your stay is for business it's a great location
- If for a holiday, it's about a 20 minute walk to the centre/port area which is where the main attractions are so I would suggest finding a hotel nearer there.

however is a bit grimy, and can, in places, smell of what I can only describe as toilet drains. .

The club level lounge is perfect for breakfast - lots of choice.

Even a glass of bubbly with your breakfast you fancied it !!!

The breakfast was great , had everything you could think of.

We went full board my three meals a day was great, a glass of cava at breakfast goes down well, plenty fish and meat/ salads for lunch and dinner  the desserts are a fantastic, favourite part of my meals, we went to the spa today got a back massage and then used the indoor pool.

Breakfast in the level was 8-12 everyday and then from 12.30 there are snacks and white wine, red wine and sparkling wine as well as cans of fanta orange, lemon coke, tonic, lemon tea and soft drinks.

but some dishes were luke warm but a great array of food and the breakfast had everything.

We stayed half board and enjoyed the buffet and was worth the extra cost.

There was a wide selection at breakfast too with lots of gluten free options.

The choice at the breakfast bufet is substantial (including freshly cooked omelettes fried eggs and pancakes) with a large choice of cold meats cheeses yoghurts cereals fruit bread juices, hot drinks, etc., and a honeycomb and Pressco..

The breakfast and dinner offered everything what we wished to have - diferend kinds of meat, fish, vegetables, tasty deserts and always fresh fruits.

The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious.

I don’t eat first thing so it was nice to be able to have breakfast a little later in the morning.

There's basically only 1 restaurant besides the beach bar and it's a buffet and you feel like you are in a cafeteria..

The breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices including custom-made omelettes.

Breakfast was delicious with a great selection.

Lifts are very small so there’s a wait at busy times (not a major issue

And there was a significant issue waiting in lines for the elevators.

At busy times, there can be a considerable wait for the lifts.

If you are staying on the higher floor in the middle of summer, be prepared for a long wait for lift.

but during our stay we noticed the dust on the TV monitor inside the lift and was there and not been wiped clean until we left.

Only minor challenge was the small and slow lifts

One downside of the COVID measures is limited capacity of the lifts.

Only downside was the longer waiting time for the small elevators.

And elevator cabins and corridors were not clean…

The lift stops running at 21.00hours, so if you’d like me in high heals it may be something to consider.

There are two blocks of rooms either side of the central pool and each block/tower has three small lifts and these are not enough for either block.

Having read reviews I realised after 5 minutes I was still behind people & not going to get a lift quickly so I walked up to my 6th floor room with my luggage and then to the Level on the 10th - I used the stairs for the remainder of my stay so I guess an added health benefit??

Only downside was not enough lifts to serve amount of guests at busy times.

Only down side was lift out of order whole week.

but over 4 days we only used the stairs once as a lift was out of order and there was a large group also waiting so not bad going.

but the lifts can only fit 4/5 people so you often did a tour of all the floors before arriving at your floor.

Pool area looked lovely and the roof top bar and pool was gorgeous.

The room was superb , mini bar fridge & Kettle , lovely views across to Malaga on this visit .The roof top bar & pool most enjoyable .

The rooms were clean and had lovely views,  the bar on the rooftop is nothing short of breath taking.

Good rooftop bar and light food too!Worth spending the extra money

but the one great thing is that they have The Level rooms with access the rooftop bar, pool and eating spot for adults only.

The experience was good, as breakfast was nice and plentiful, shows in the rooftop bar were brilliant, particularly Dj playing along with the violin man.

Rooftop bar was a lovely place during day just to chill in Sun.

The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the "how to make Sangria" session at the rooftop bar which was held by a girl in the entertainment team.

Very good buffet breakfast and entertainment on roof top bar at night.

There was live shows (Flamenco, music ..)  at the hotel roof top bar in the evenings.

Fantastic roof top bar and pool with great views of the beach spoiled by the appalling service.

The bar downstairs closes quite early in the evening and the rooftop bar is uncomfortably busy.

The roof top bar with more stunning views also has a heated pool which was brilliant.

There is the main pool for anyone (which is loverly) and it’s fine 

Then there is the sky pool and bar that was the rooftop pool adults and adults at nights 
That is  great 

But now they have made it adults only and yes ok that’s good

The roof top bar is lovely with 360 degree views we loved it, and the main hotel bar is modern and comfortable with entertainment on every night.

The other wing has a rooftop bar and a sun terrace with a pool open for everybody.

Positives - Great beachfront Location, close to all bars, shops and restaurants, Hotel spotless, deluxe rooms perfect in every way, rooftop pool lovely and staff just fabulous.

but the Level rooftop pool and lounge was nice and rather quiet.

The pools on the rooftops are something that we didn’t use as the one at ground level was absolutely fine and got a better breeze in the heat.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooftop pool is gorgeous and being able to access it from early morning was a bonus when you couldn’t access the other hotel pools until 9 or 10am.

though as we had access to the Level lounge and rooftop pool.

Other roof top pool was nice with a great bar that stayed open till 1am and the set up was modern chic.

We really enjoyed it, especially The Level and the Sky  roof top pool/bar.

Food excellent in restaurant , accommodation luxurious , staff welcoming and great roof top pools and space to chill i the sun with large sun chairs .

There was a rooftop pool with bar area and a pool on the ground floor overlooking the beach.
