Best Western Sunset Strip is centrally located and offers comfortable rooms and a beautiful pool area.

There was a sofa bed in the room and two comfortable couches with a coffee table so we could sit around when we wanted to.

Good location, walking distance to several restaurants, free continental breakfast, beautiful outdoor pool, gym, comfortable room for up to 4 peopke, courteous and helpful staff.

The room was very comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom, and doors to the beautiful pool/courtyard.

Don’t get me started on the amazing jacuzzi tub experience we had in the comfort of our own room.

Niki Brenda and Carlos were amazing and when they heard our story immediately shared with us that they would upgrade us to a bigger room so that we would all be comfortable.

The breakfast is always nice, the rooms are comfortable and quite spacious, there's always parking, and the location is perfect for a stay in LA.

however the new room smelt a little fusty, hotel reception sofa and rug is dirty, staff require more customer service training.

On the flip side, customer service was rather cold, and in spite of upgrades, this is an old building with a funky smell from the lobby to the rooms.

There is a horrible old carpet smell throughout building - distinct wet/old smell - in the room and halls - it badly needs replacing.

The tiles in the swimming pool were filthy you could wipe the dirt of with your hands, see attached photo.

Had a bug in my bed, pullout bed had a downward incline where your head was lower than your legs, breakfast lacked a variety of foods and lobby had a musty horrible smell.

Only things we had issues with were the HVAC system which seemed a bit dated, and a musty smell in the hotel room and throughout the halls.

The air conditioning/heating wall unit was absolutely filthy.

The cigarette smoke would permeate the halls.

-The BREAKFAST is yet another bait and switch - they offer disgusting moldy 25 cent pre packed muffins with NO COFFEE and call it breakfast.

One on of the tables by the couch, there was some gross residue that wasn't wiped down by housekeeping--though it was not visible until we saw it on the wiping cloth.

although it was dark and felt smaller than room 212, it smelt fine so we accepted it.

but only disappointment was that despite the hotel being non smoking, someone before us had flouted the rules!

The pool area is lovely , sadly some people ignore the no smoking policy,

So it is a rather dirty and smelly area(urine etc.

Breakfast among the worst in my entire life, just packed food on board plates.

we constantly had to ask for more plates cutlery and food they couldn't keep up with the demand.

The use of single use/disposable paper plates and cutlery seems wasteful.

No restaurant or bar, breakfast is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery in a cramped room that struggles to cope with the amount of guests staying, we had to clear our table when we had finshed and put the used plates, cutlery and waste food in an overflowing bin, see photo.

but you could take your tray up to 4th floor breakfast room where there was more seating up there ,the main breakfast room was floor 3 street level, we didn’t need to go to floor 4 as we always got a table.

Paying $300 a night should entitle us to more than disposable cutlery and plates.

but is served with paper plates and plastic cutlery.

however even my children commented on the use of plastic plates and cutlery as environmentally unfriendly!

but what is with the paper plates and plastic knives and forks.

The most unusual thing was the use of paper plates and plastic utensils for breakfast.

The only thing that could be improved would be the use of paper plates and cups for breakfast.

but they had paper plates and plastic cutlery which I found a bit strange but all in all was a good enjoyable stay

Very basic breakfast and disposable plates and cutlery.

however the food is very average and served on paper plates.

By this I mean - cups provided in room were of the disposable variety, and individually wrapped in plastic bags; all of the eating utensils, plates, and cups at breakfast were disposable as well.

One thing i did not like was having to use paper plates, plastic knife, folk, spoon, and paper cups.

Do not expect to use the kitchen since it is empty (no cups, no plates, nothing.

Would not stay again because breakfast food tasteless and paper plates even if free.

My room was quite comfortable, although the showerhead was odd - it looked fancy

Comfortable room on 4th floor, which also provided easy access to the pool.

The rooms are comfortable for both relaxing and working and the exterior surroundings have similar architectural gems and the mountains to the north.

I love this hotel for the convenience, excellent staff, and comfortable rooms - as well as the service standards synonymous with the Westin Brand.

It was a very comfortable room with double doors out to a semi private outdoor terrace that would take you to outdoor stairs to the pool, hot tub or down the outdoor stairs to the patio area with a fire pit off the bar/restaurant area.

They triple charged me for one valet service.

We were charged twice for the same night.

If you like dirty rooms, unexpected construction, and being charged an extra $300 above what’s on your receipt - this is the hotel for you.

It's a ChargePoint charger so it's slow and about $1 per hour to charge.

I had to call three times to get the charges to my family reversed, because they claimed it was taken care of when it wasn't.

Also was emphatic that NO ONE would let me in without an actual plastic card.

A couple of days after checking into the rooms, I noticed there was a charge on my credit card for $247.

Would never stay here again and working on disputing the charges to get funds back.

Upon checking out, there was no $2 balance.

I was not made aware of this charge nor was I give.

although more incidental charges than in years past.

I really do not believe a Westin/Marriot property would allow this and still charge.

I returned at 10pm to find a card on my door stating engineering visited and solved the A/C issue.

Appalled, I went over and asked why they were charging for water.

I was told the only thing they could do was give us 1/2 off the valet charge.

I pointed out that this had happened the day after Christmas, when my laptop was in my room, my son’s new iPad, cash, gift cards, etc.

They could have waived one night of valet parking charges or made some other overture,

I was overcharged at least $20 a night, no apology, no communication, they charged $40 over the quoted rate.

Long story short, after speaking with BONVOY, only the GM could honor the money paid as a credit to the same priced uncanceled room.

We were told that they will call us when the room is ready.

Ant the worst was that a left and expensive blouse in my room and made five phone calls to staff, housekeeping and the hotel manager.

Front desk had no discretion to correct the error while we were still at the property and referred us to accounting, and after multiple unreturned calls over a 7 day period, I had to rely on the Bonvoy Ambassador desk for help.

Were told to call tech support for wifi access and that they knew about the safe

The phones were ringing and the guests not sleeping, 
while our next door neighbors continued their shrieking.

- Business center is in the “Living Room” area of the lobby, where the music is too loud to have a work call.

We were told we would receive a call back with that information— ANOTHER LIE!!!!

I spent hours on the phone and via email to move my reservation by 1 day only for 1 of the rooms out of 2.

We call the front desk, and Chris answered and I'm like hey I think I talked to you last night about the shower and we just tried to shower again and it's still messed up!

My only gripe is housekeeping hours, in that I left my iphone charger in the room and when I realized I had done so at 5 PM on the afternoon of check out, that department handling lost & found had already closed for the night.

At each pool visit, I had to call the hotel from my cell to request pool towels and then hover until they arrived so they other pool goers would not grab them all.

I explained what Bobby had said to us on the phone, and apparently he told the manager that he never told us the jacuzzi was open.

After that time calling, I was always redirected to voicemail.

I called their manager and left a message and he never even gave me the courtesy of calling me back.

This hotel had it all, from front of house staff so helpful , to lovely rooms and very comfy.

The room was so comfortable, my window had a view of the Hollywood sign, it was beautiful, the pool at night it was amazing.

Hotel refused to refund the fee even if the reason for the charge was because of their wifi system.

but they charge a fee each day for things you don’t want like one free movie ticket for 2 guests and one tour ticket for one guest which means the other guest must pay.

but when we arrived back home in the UK, the full amount was immediately returned on our card.

Then told there was nothing they could do there was no Hollywood sign room to move us to and that they wouldn't be able to refund us only give us a credit to spend in the hotel despite the fact we are over half way through our stay now.

I did not like the fact that they charge for bottled water and at such a high price, and without clear indication of it (small print).

There were plenty of charging stations in the room for all four of of us to charge phones and iPads.

Must have done credit card fraud  claim to sort it out with the hotel.

This change in hotel cost us an additional $455 USD in hotel charges and uber fares because of the unethical and disgraceful actions of the management at Loews Hollywood Hotel.

Flight delayed one day and despite both Loews and Booking.com telling me I would not be charged the first night (which due to flight delay, I did not use), I was charged it and when trying to get reimbursement was led on a merry-go round between the two companies.

Also don’t rent a car they charge $60 daily to park it.

The gentleman told us we could use the credit Sunday and Monday morning.

Got $20 daily credit for the store which covered my breakfast.

I was charged an incidentals deposit and was told that it would clear as soon as check out was done.

I was charged twice and can’t get hold of the billing department to assist or resolve, Been trying for the past 4 days, I’ve sent emails, the person on chat can’t help me.

The rip off destination fee is the most annoying this hotel insists of having,you are supposed to get premium WiFi worth $12.99 as part of it

even though they don’t use what the fee is paid for.

Parking and breakfast are not really cheap,

Expect to pay a mandatory daily resort fee of $28 dlls.,plus $20 dlls every day for parking.

No hidden Hotel charges at the time of checking out, just the $300 refundable deposit to pay on arrival (even if you pay in full like we did)

I was here for business so not too sure about the price.

The disappointment with the bedroom notwithstanding, the suite was very comfortable and spacious, and the living room especially comfortable.

The rooms were very comfortable, slept like a baby.

It is a home away from home with the most amazing staff that I have ever met, the most comfortable rooms, the best food, the most relaxing pool, everything about this hotel is exceptional.

But if you want luxury, very comfortable and quite rooms, and true 5 * service this is the place for you.

Love the gym, spa and poolside area, comfortable rooms, great food selection with excellent vegan choices, welcoming, professional and efficient staff.

The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills is a wonderful getaway, for business or leisure. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, interesting views, lovely lobby with flowers that were truly stunning, really excellent food, amenities "to die for."

The pool menu has a silly “admin tax” which they explain as essentially a cost of doing business.

On our arrival at 10 PM @ LAX, rather than fight thousands of travelers trying to catch an overdue shuttle bus to an understaffed remote rental car location, the hotel provided a waiting car and driver for no more than the cost of a one-day rental car that I would have had to pay $50 for overnight parking.

but comparable hotels are priced the same.

Please do not think this is a paid review because its glowing - I’m a pretty tough customer so know this review is well deserved.

Now, it is quite expensive and is luxury hotel.

Very disappointing service at a very expensive hotel.

And also there was only a bathtub - no separate tub and shower which I consider to be a given in such an expensive hotel.

however not up to scratch especially for the outrageous pricing.

I expect more from Four Seasons and the price for the room.

My only criticism would be the price of parking, which I feel is very high with a price of USD 46 a day (ex tax).

but given we had chosen to pay more specifically for this feature I would have expected some other approach --- and wondered why we were even able to "book" the room if it wasn't available in the first place. Location.

but my one criticism would be that the master bathroom was small for this level of suite and price tag.
