The Chamberlain is a great boutique hotel in a great location.

This is a boutique apartment hotel in a residential area so the location is good because it is very quiet.

Small boutique hotel with excellent location in a residential area, Intimate interior spaces (bar and outdoor patio dining) with fabulous private cabanas on the rooftop pool deck.. Suites were huge and beautifully appointed.

For its location the price is ok. 

It’s a boutique hotel so don’t expect the same standard services big chain hotels give you

I have know of chamberlain for a number of years - they are a boutique hotel centrally located in WEHO .

This is a superb choice for a boutique hotel and I believe offers great value.

Without a doubt one of the best boutique hotel experiences ever!

While large, big name hotels provide comfort, this boutique hotel is scaled down and is a much more personable place.

Fell in love with this cute, boutique hotel from the moment I stepped foot on the property.

Great location  Trader Joes virtually across the road, short walk to Santa Monica Blv (#4 bus) or Sunset Blv  (#2 bus and sunset Plaza).

Staff are friendly and helpful and location is central to key areas of LA (Hollywood on one side and Beverly Hills on the other).

Suites are beautifully appointed more than comfortable, peaceful

It’s located in West Hollywood in a nice location close to plenty of fast food and normal restaurants including Nobu LA.

Cafe / restaurant in lobby has excellent service and high quality food and while expensive vs non hotel restaurants is probably about average price for hotel restaurants.

If there was anything negative I could find it would be that one of the 2 rooms we have booked is super dark with no natural light so avoid that end of hotel down the side of building plus the other negative is $60 parking fee

The next day, the hotel manager called us to apologize for the problem and offered to move us to a significantly larger room (with a full living room and a separate bedroom) at the same price as our current room!

After finding the house rented was dirty and infested with cockroaches at midnight on my first night in LA I am searching for a West Hollywood hotels in my price point close by.

but all of the hotels have expensive parking so you really need to figure that into your costs.

Be mindful these prices include no room service unless you request it!

To detract from that, a nightly resort fee is charged which seems exorbitant given the size of the hotel and limited inclusions.

I wouldn't stay here again if the the room was free and I was paid!

Parking is expensive at $45 a day for valet-

The only issue I had was the overnight parking fee of 45 dollars

but didn’t realized “continental” breakfast is just a small croissant/muffin and a tiny cup of dice of fruits, everything else on menu are to pay.

but the parking and amenity fees, along with the noisiness of the room above us is why I rated it 4 stars.

The breakfast and dinner room service options were also subpar and overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food you get.

The prices they charge for food and drinks is a complete rip off ! !

The only downside is that the parking is filthy expensive.

I did feel that staying at the hotel was quite expensive and there was no option for self parking just valet at a $45 dollar per night cost which added onto the hotel price and additional taxes was very high.

however, because of the automatic 25% gratuity fee, the proceeds of which the employees never actually see, is imposed.

Complimentary morning coffee that can be taken in restaurant or courtyard, great start to day,  similarly in the evening complimentary wine hour in the evening is  a nice way to end the days activities.

Enjoyed the jalapeño margaritas, the tater tots, Greek salad and guac.

Farouk in the restaurant is like reuniting with an old friend.

I have stayed in many hotels both in the U.S. and abroad and I would like to say that all of the staff -- including desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and valet -- are among the nicest people I have ever encountered!

Breakfast was especially the nicest way to start the day as the waiters Faruk and Jasmine were very kind and served us very well! The food was also delicious and well prepared :)

Beautiful roof top pool, fabulous restaurant and bar.

Room Service each person we had every day was friendly and food came very quick.

He's given us excellent drinks, restaurants info, and entertaining conversation.

Rosa at the restaurant was very kind with complimentary wine pours between 5-6P.

The location was perfect for our access to the iconic Sunset Strip venues, Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood's wonderful restaurants and energy.

It was amazing 

We got money to use towards food and beverage and did breakfast each day.

The room is spacious, very clean, roof top has a great view, and the bar and restaurant downstairs has friendly staff.

Restaurant team also great with going above and beyond with special requests.

Quint little bar off the lobby that has great food and a classic touch.

All the facilities were spotless and the breakfast of steak eggs and potatoes was so good that I ordered it every day!

The woman at the restaurant bar was super nice and caught up with us each morning before we headed out for the day - thanks!

The bartender Nate made us amazing cocktails!

This time weather encouraged use of roof top pool, Fabulous  sunbeds, umbrellas, great views and bar.Cold water and  sunscreen supplied.

Rooftop pool has a cool vibe and gym / fitness area impressive for a hotel if this size.

Check in and access to the rooftop pool was seamless and the cabana was excellent.

Rooftop pool is a beauty - great place for the kids and adults to relax under the warm Californian Sun.

Great location, gorgeous suites, fabulous rooftop pool and very reasonable rates.

Rooms are great suite-types, as is the rooftop pool.

Don’t miss the beautiful rooftop pool with the cutest, friendliest bartender in town, or the delicious breakfast in the restaurant.

The rooftop pool also has a bar and 360 degree views of the city and you can see as far out as downtown LA.

The next best thing about the Chamberlain is the rooftop pool!

Hotel is presented beautifully and the rooms are xtra large , with  defined sleeping /sitting areas.

Excellent rooms , very spacious and clean , Ramesh on reception was excellent, very helpful and courteous and professional.

The two rooms we had for our family were a good size and very comfortable.

The room was beautiful (and I’m sure we just had what was left at midnight) Breakfast was great.

but with a nice relaxed and soft feel and they are very big rooms.

The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and ideal for short or long stays.

Housekeeping always kept our room and the building in great shape.

The room was too and included a comfy king bed, huge tv and a fireplace.

Claudia put us in a beautiful room big enough to fit friends and family!

And the carpets need cleaning because there was this old smell throughout.

One of the two lifts was out of order the entire stay, the fly wire screen on the balcony door was constantly jammed and eventually came off the rails and the bathroom had a musty/sewerage smell at times.

Soiled linen was left in the bathroom, the floors were not clean, and the light switches had visable grime on them. Disgusting.

The only criticism we had was while in the non smoking pool area with our 17 year old daughter, a girl smoking a joint was ignored by a staff member who came to deliver food to another hotel customer.

Somehow the hotel didn't match up to all the reviews - some areas smelled heavily of smoke and felt a bit run down.

but what makes this hotel not a place to recommend is that the room had a weird smell, the bathroom wasn’t clean 2 out of 4 times.

The hotel did not look like a hotel or smell like a hotel.

In addition, the stainless steel stand that supports the sink and counter in the bathroom is very badly rusted and the aluminum window frames are corroded and the window sills full of dirt and debris, indicating that management has not been investing in keeping the property in the condition you would expect for a hotel in this price range.

The 4th floor had an unattractive Oder right away off of the elevator and the room smelled worse.

though was that my room smelled terrible--musty.

The room had a smell - like an old musty smell in which I had to turn the super loud aircon on and open the balcony door.

It's as if they're ignoring the little scrapes and scuffs, smells and issues.

As mentioned in other reviews there is a strong smell on floors two and three.

Going up to the room we found out that the hotel has a very strong bad smell in the hotel

In the room the wallpaper is peeling and there is a smell of an old folks home!

A lot of negative reviews on here mention a smell - we couldn't smell anything.

The smell the main turn off, disgusting when you have to spend time on our honeymoon for a week smelling that with no explanation!

Being from NYC, I didn’t know that was a thing and so I had to be exposed to do that horrible smell for so many days.

We would like to mention Farooq, who looked after us so well at breakfast - the other hotel staff could learn from his excellent hosting skills.

Tara and Jasmine are wonderful and the 3 are a great team!

All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, ready and willing to assist me and always greeted/farewelled us with a smile each day.

We had chosen a top floor king suite with balcony and we were happy with the room choice.

A large room that was beautifully appointed and maintained on the top floor was just what I needed for an overnight stay in WEHO.

I was on the top floor and had a good view.

A short walk to Trader Joe's, Starbucks and CVS.

with a Trader Joe's just a short walk from the hotel along with numerous restaurants close by.

There is a Trader Joe's and Starbucks down the block and many restaurants and bars on Santa Monica within easy walking distance.

Also close to Trader Joe’s and other spots to stock up on snacks wine etc as hotel price wine and snacks can run high.

Emilio our doorman pointed us in the direction of Trader Joe’s so we could pick up a few treats and upon returning back to our spacious digs we met Lily our housekeeper who was more than amenable to offer us a few more coffee products.

It was walking distance to the gay bars, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, the gyms, and shopping.

Location is also perfect everything you might need is 2 seconds walking distance: food places, Trader Joe's (literally one second walk), CVS pharmacy, dry cleaner, beauty places (both nails and massage). If you look for a boutique hotel with great service and quiet (away from the tourist craziness

Loads of amenities nearby such as Trader Joe’s, Starbucks and loads of resturants/ bars.

2-3minute walk to Trader Joe's, 24 Kitchen, Starbucks, Wells Fargo.. 10 min walk to nightlife and more!

The Chamberlain is tucked away in a residential neighborhood within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping and even a Trader Joe's!

I really like this hotel it's in a great location in West Hollywood right near Trader Joe's so you can go and buy water and snacks that are reasonable.

Trader Joe's is just down the street-a minute away, Starbucks as well.

Up the street from a Starbucks, Trader Joe's and a 24 Hour Fitness.

but also there is a Trader Joe's and Starbucks a two minute walk away.

There is a supermarket (called Trader Joe's) about 2 minutes walk south down Westmount Drive, if you need a snack, fresh fruit or drinks.

It was also a 2 min walk to Santa Monica  Boulevard, where we could get take away like Subway and also food shop at a little super market called Trader Joe's.

but less than 3 minute walk to a Starbucks and a Trader Joe's and a CVS and lots of restaurants and bars!

There's even a trader joe's right down the street!

It is located on quiet street with easy access to major happening streets & my husband was happy to see Trader Joe's close by.

They need to speed up issue resolutions as I found extra charges in my room bill which delay the check-out process.

We also had an electric car in valet that was always charged.

Booked with Amex FHR and did NOT receive a room upgrade.

It's disappointing the hotel did not honor their partnership with Amex.

but is a credit of $30 in reality, which is impossible to match (the whole menu is hight than that after taxes and tips).

but charging $750 for two massages are insane.

No charge late check out when they can do it.

(Gregory saved my credit card from being lost forever when it fell by the pool!)

but since this was last minute, we chose to burn some AMEX points and splurge a little.

I booked the hotel through the American Express Platinum card, meaning that we were entitled to a few perks.

My girlfriend was traveling alone and needed to use my credit card.

but the Viceroy L’Ermitage was offering a discounted room through Amex so I decided to try it out.

The hotel could also do with a coin laundry as not everyone thinks a 12 USD laundry  charge for a shirt makes sense . .

I just don't like it when you get a call from the front desk at 12:25PM asking "if I need assistance with checkout" when I had already told the front desk upon check in that I would be utilizing the 4PM late check out that goes along with the AMEX fine hotels program.

The folio charged OJ twice and also did not deduct 100 dollar promised for some sort of engineering problem they had in our room.

I booked through Luxury Hotel and Resort Collection which is a benefit of the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card.

One criticism I have is the ridiculous charge of $50 a night for parking- crazy!

after calling to confirm of my accomodations with the hotel, they tried switching it last minute and forcing me to buy another room. And one of the concierge women Ashley tried to charge me for valet service every day (regardless of the fact that i didn't bring a car)

I then discovered a charge on my credit card which I was not expecting.

Incredible hotel only downside is still awaiting a credit back to my account for an overcharge the front desk messed up on.

Very quiet, private and upscale experience for those who want luxury without the fuss.

The monogrammed pillow case was an added touch of elegance that will allow me to remember L'Ermitage and go back sooner rather than later.

When one pays a premium, especially in a renowned location like Beverly Hills, there is an expectation of exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and an overall unforgettable experience.

but the little details and the luxury rooms are unmatched.

Truly some of the best 5 start luxury service I have ever experienced.

The quiet luxury of this hotel was an incredible experience!

but at the end of the day it's  mostly about the room - the comforts, the bed, the bathroom, the lighting, and everything else one seeks in a luxury room.

Very comfortable and high class luxury hotel, a safe recommendation.

What a wonderful, fascinating, luxurious experience we had during our stay in LA.

It was pure luxury to stay at L'Ermitage.

The beds were super comfortable .. amazing duvets and luxurious pillows .

Unlike other 5 star factory-mega-hotel in Beverly Hills, L’Ermitage offered a very welcoming and pampering stay.

I highly recommend L'Ermitage to anyone who wants a luxury hotel experience.

A special mention to Aldo, who drives the hotel's complimentary luxury Mercedes (to anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel) - he is a true gentleman.

We had consistently delicious meals in the hotel restaurant, and found the hotel perfectly located for exploring anywhere in Los Angeles.

Lastly, the food - in particular, the duck + truffle fries - was so good!

Easy stroll to heart of shopping and restaurants in Beverly Hills.

but overall excellent service, food, accommodations, etc.

L'Restaurant provides outstanding  French cuisine and American inspired breakfasts that exceeded our expectations.

The location is a short walk past City Hall and the Wallis  to The Beverly Hills Triangle area (restaurants and shops).

Great food great service, clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Zack Gazmou, the Concierge, who made a short stay at L'Ermitage a very special & unique stay, since our arrival he welcome us with a nice smile  and a very warming welcome followed by a Suite upgrade, after he helped us with a reservation at Mastro's Restaurant making sure all details were perfect, the Mercedes from the hotel was ready to take us with the very nice driver Mr Sascha, beautiful table, and something never happened to me, at the time of the desert we received a complementary delicious Butter cake from our concierge, Thanks Zack!

Special thanks to Aldo for taking us to and picking us up from the restaurants in style.

The food was incredible as well and they really take care of you.

The house car was a nice touch which provided complementary transportation to Rodeo Drive and the area restaurants.

Enjoyed the cocktails at the bar and the room was perfect.
