The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room was very clean, and location was conveniently located next to restaurants and attractions.

but of course some of DTLA’s finest attractions are a short drive away.

The location is close to the Convention Center and Crypto Arena and not too far from other Los Angeles attractions.

Walking distance to Lakers game and many other LA Attractions.

The hotel was breathtakingly designed and so close to all the main attractions downtown LA.

Art deco style, great restaurants, close to museums, and downtown LA attractions.

This hotel is close to the convention center, LA Live, Grammy museum, and other attractions, It also has a few restaurants inside the hotel which makes it convenient.

It is a great small boutique hotel close to the Staples Center and all of the major attractions.

Walking distance to most downown attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Location was great to so many attractions in DTLA and the pool was stunning.

For Brits staying here I would suggest you have a car - the down town attractions are within walking distance

The hotel is beautiful, located within walking distance to Staples center and other DTLA attractions,  the three restaurants located at the hotel were all top notch.

The location is perfect for walking to nearby shops, dining and area attractions.

I went to a family vacation and chose Hotel Figueroa because the hotel is nice and close to different attractions.

Friendly staff, recently renovated upscale boutique hotel, walking distance to attractions, great food service/menu and clean rooms.

Located at Fig and 9th, it is within walking distance to so many attractions.

I was there for 5 days and it was easy to get around to downtown attractions, or just hang out by the pool all day.

Yet, with all that, it's only a short walk to the Convention Center and the other attractions of Downtown.

I enjoyed the attraction places for me to go to.

Was in town for a convention, the hotel truly was a home base.

The unique look of this hotel caught my attention and since I knew I'd be visiting the Los Angeles area for a convention, I had to stay at Hotel Figueroa.

If I ever come back to LA(even if it's not for a convention), I will stay here again!

I stayed in a Junior suite with my sister, I was in town for a fitness convention, the convention center is easily walkable at .3 miles away.

Right downtown LA and close to sports and convention venues.

The staff during my meal times were very tentative and did not forget about me since I was alone for a work conference and convention.

Stayed at the Hotel for a large convention next door.

I was in town for a convention and this hotel allows you to feel like you are staying at a resort.

A must stay for the Convention or Staples Center.

I'd happily stay here again even without a convention discount.

This is a very nice boutique hotel with good access to the convention cento and Crypto Arena.

Nice property, clean and modern, within shouting distance of the LA Convention Center, Staples Center and LA Live.

Staple center is only an 8 minute walk and the LA convention center is only a 12 minute walk.

The hotel’s location was ideal for me since it was a short walk to the LA convention center.

This is my new LA Convention hotel for sure.

It’s the best option if you are attending to the staples or the convention center.

I walked each day to my event at LA Convention Center saving me $45/day parking.

Stayed there for a convention and was very pleased.

If you need to go to the Convention Centre, I highly recommend this amazing boutique hotel.

Ver well located Hotel in the heart of Downtown LA, walking distance to Staples Center, Convention Center and Malls.

Be aware there are hidden fees you find out about upon arrival.

For the price, the room was disappointingly small, and the hidden "resort fees" not indicated when I booked my stay was also disappointing.

but too pricey for things not to be working.

I originally booked the Hotel Figueroa for the low cost.

We found LA to be very expensive, and if there are people at the top of the organization making more than 3-5 times the most low paid workers, it just feels greedy.

If you want to pay alot, with mediocre service, over priced drinks, and waking up at 7 am to banging pots pans buckets of their own hotel staff protesting out side your window.

but they did have a similar one for the same price - I got the drink bill and it was almost double; bad move.

We had ignored it on our prior trips because we thought it looked too expensive.

Please please please support women in your hotel by providing superior service, security and equitable pricing for women!!!!!!!!!! !

The cost of parking is little much per day ,

Cafe Fig was mediocre, food came quicker than beverages and portions were small for the price.

Only complaints about this hotel are the lack of counter space in the bathroom and the cost of valet parking (although the amount seems to be standard for the area).

Parking is very expensive and added with destination fee it really raises final price tag.

As with any hotel in a major downtown area, parking is on the expensive side at $50/night.

however, the $30 unexpected "destination fee" and $150 pre-authorization that they spring on you upon your arrival after you've paid in-full in advance are a bummer.

Another guest, seeing what was occurring, offered to pay and got us the room for one night (I paid him back in the moment because I did indeed have the money to pay,

but, they allow Delivery Drivers a special key if you're wanting a pizza brought to the room).

Amazing hotel - loved the decor - best latte and Taro latte, food was great and staff from the door person to reception to bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and welcoming and very definitely would stay again

Staff were very friendly, rooms beautiful and food great.

The breakfast food at Cafe Fig is second to none.

Restraunts were excellent, and the location to other fine dining is great.

The staff throughout were friendly and accommodating, food was good to excellent.

We were able to order food to the room from the restaurant which was delicious!

However, the hotel has incredible restaurants and the lobby was always busy!

The Sparrow restaurant was delicious and bartenders were very attentive.

So much more character than any other property in Down Town LA, great bar and restaurant "scene" and very sympathetically reimagined rooms.

The rooms are tiny with  frosted glass so you don't see the aircon units outside your window.The room I had was next to the lift and the staircase.

The room is so small that the closet is blocking one window and there is no room to open a carry on suitcase!

Specifically, the gym is unacceptably small for a 230 room hotel.

The negatives: My room was very small- almost claustrophobic.

Very small room; too small for 2 people with 2 normal suitcases.

The rooms are unfortunately very small and cramped with small beds.

Unfortunately, the rooms are very small with limited storage for clothes (closet only), terrible lighting, and generally very dark with very little natural light from the window.

The other room was even smaller, and located directly above the bar.

but the bar is amazing and has an excellent happy hour during the week.

- Free unlimited espresso drinks/coffee at the bar all day.

Hit the pool again the next day with coffee and a muffin from the bar.

The music was thumping and the bar, restaurants, and pool were all hopping.

We loved the bar with Rafael & our waitress Stella for a late night snack on the roof top patio.

Accommodations really set the bar high as well.

I ask for a bottle of Merlot 
and there was none at the bar and the front of the house lady went downstairs and found me two bottles to choose from.

Appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the bar and lounge.

Great to just relax down in the Bar area.

At Thursday evening there was Music in the bar and lobby.

The surroundings are lovely, the pool is heated, the bar and the restaurants were wonderful, employees are lovely  and location, location, location for DTLA happenings.

Our room was mistakenly looked over for service and when we mentioned it at the front desk we were offered a free drink at the bar while we waited.

This hotel is gorgeous, from the room we stayed in to the bar and restaurant area, to the pool and outdoor areas.

I particularly enjoyed the live music on Friday and Saturday evenings in the bar area.

The bar and restaurant staff are attentive and friendly, our Hostess, Sara Joy was fantastic and makes it a great experience!

On the plus side the staff could not have been better, the bar is also very nice.

From the moment we were greeted by Jonathan to our welcome drink at the bar with Philip and Zach to the time we left, we greatly enjoyed the Figueroa.

Drinks down stairs by the bar were soooo good!

Valet personnel was great, they were very helpful and easy to work with The  front desk personnel was polite, food from Cafe Fig was very good (shrimp and grits).

Everyone was phenomenal, from check in staff to valet staff, and all in between.

It was stylish, clean and sell maintained, and the personnel, from reception to valet to housekeeping and wait staff, were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Best part of my stay was the friendly service of Jonathan  from the valet staff.

The valet attendants were all very patient and professional.

The bellhops and valets are super attentive.

This property is absolutely beautiful do not let the outside of the building scare you the food was fantastic Mauricio was perfection the valet staff absolute perfection.

The housekeeper, bartender, concierge and valet were all helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

We particularly appreciate the front desk staff, having been greeted by Fatima, the valet staff who made it so easy to access our vehicle and offered suggestions on how to navigate our surroundings, and the responsiveness of the housekeeping staff.

The front desk and valet staff were over the top nice and helpful.

The staff is helpful and friendly - especially the valet attendants and the front desk staff.

The valet employees are courteous and proactive.

The outstanding hospitality we received was impressive, always a hello, and a smile from the staff from the valet to the front desk to the housekeeper.

You will always be greeted with smiles from the Valet, Bell and Front Desk staff.

They make it so easy, The entire valet team at the hotel are super welcoming and professional.

The customer service is consistently excellent from the valet to the front desk to the food & beverage staff.

Liz one of the supervisor at the valet was a very outstanding, gave the face of the hotel.

Lizeth and eddie from valet welcomed us and were super friendly , they valet our car Which we used several times and every time we did we had no problems.

Valet was efficient and pleasant, and so was the front desk.

The hotel is very close to many cool attractions, theaters and all the stars.

The obvious attraction is its fun and rich Hollywood history,

Everyone from the valet to the colorful hotel owner treated us as the main attraction.

Great location and walkable to other attractions in area such as Chateau Marmont, Mondrian, and Comedy Store.

I can see the attraction, classic Hollywood hotel soaked in history & charm.

.very near to the clubs, Hollywood Blvd and other attractions.

Not far from major Hollywood attractions and great eating venues.

but she acted as a personal concierge helping with our daily plans, giving excellent recommendations as to local attractions and activities - always helpful, always smiling, always concerned that we were enjoying our stay.

The location in West Hollywood is brilliant for so many attractions, restaurants and shops,

It is centrally located and had easy access to many of the areas tourist attractions.

And, the hotel was a short drive to most of our attractions.

Barbara at the Tower Bar made our entire trip amazing by telling us the history of the hotel and making sure we were always taken care of.

We were incredibly appreciative of Katie (front desk), Barbara (restaurant), and the entire wait staff for making us feel comfortable and well taken care of during a period when logistics and staffing must be especially challenging.

From the moment we checked in we were taken care of by Steven, who delighted us with an upgrade for our one night stay.

I didn’t provide this feedback to the Sunset Tower reception staff because they didn’t care to ask about my stay.

The service was perfect, Eddie did a great job taking care of us and later on we came back and had some cocktails with Larry who had us laughing the entire time.

My fiancée and I were celebrating with a few friends and he went out of his way to take care of us plus create a personal connection with us.

I ordered food on my own and Angel was helpful in delivering it and making sure everything I needed was taken care of.

It’s great to walk into the hotel after dinner and there’s a great vibe of locals enjoying drinks with the live music in the background.

The hotel was the epitome of perfection and old Hollywood glamour with its notably kind staff, stunning architectural Art Deco design, state-of-the-art gym with an outdoor space, pristine pool, valet parking, a rich history of hosting A-list celebrities reminiscent of Hollywood's golden age continuing to this day (I saw Martin Sheen during my stay grabbing a drink), unmatched cleanliness standards, luxuriously appointed room suites, an exquisite on-site restaurant, and breathtaking views of Los Angeles—to say the least!

The Tower Bar restaurant has impossibly low and mysterious lighting (and good cocktails), the white jacketed-waiters know their job, and the breakfast room (closed when I stayed) is a chic place for morning meetings or more casual dinners.

The restaurant is world class, the gym is phenomenal and the staff is top notch.

My stay there was very pleasant and I can honestly say that the food is good there as well.

but ultimately underwhelmed with my stay, having only previously been familiar with the hotel’s well known Tower Bar restaurant — a favorite of mine whenever I’m in LA.

The rooms are immaculate, the staff is exceptional and friendly, the food is excellent, and the gym is amazing.

Food&drinks were quite good as was service .

I love the food, I love a long breakfast on the terrace, excellent drinks menu, the staff are always fantastic; equally friendly and professional, comfortable beds….

Sadly 5 of our staff and the chef didn’t think a rare steak is cooked  the same … all of our 5 pricey steaks were closer to well done. … the waiter was amazing and made the experience better  ( would we take guests there again for steak - No )

Sunset Tower Bar and restaurant are after almost 100 years since their opening THE PLACE TO BE especially during Oscar week.

Really enjoyed my stay and all the delicious meals.

Downgraded room for one of us
One of our room was very tiny and clearly not the superior room we had booked and paid for.

My room was so small there was no room for storage, the central air  conditioning  wasn’t working, the menu is limited, overall disappointment

The views are spectacular, rooms are small

The only drawback is that the rooms are quite small and the walls are paper thin.

The room was small and stuffy and about 80 degrees.

The room was small and noisy, I could hear the elevator rambling up-and-down through-out the night; there seemed to be a function on every day which prevented us from using the facilities of the hotel, which is why we came in first place; there always seemed to be a lot of confusion in the lobby with a lot of staff

Beautiful views from the rooms and the terrace,  Lots of attention to detail.

The lunch in the terrace is a good experience too.

Terrace was the perfect spot for dining or relaxing by the pool.

I’m very familiar with the city and it’s hotels, having stayed at a number of them, and after dining at Tower Bar and The Terrace countless times, I decided this trip to try the hotel.

I highly recommend The Terrace Restaurant -- the hotel is beautiful

I come here every Sunday for breakfast at the Tower Bar terrace, and keep returning for one thing: THE SERVICE!

The Terrace is a fabulous spot for breakfast and lunch or for just being fabulous.

Writing this long after midnight with a party on the pool terrace 10 stories below.

Breakfast in the terrace is really sweet, too.

Terrace dining area and bar is comfortable and inviting.

Lunch on the terrace by the pool on a sunny day is always a treat.

There’s such a buzz to the place which we adored, especially the amazing Terrace Bar, which id hugely recommend for drinks / dinner / dessert.

I must of course also mention he who makes my daily time out on the beautiful, calming and serene terrace and pool area with views to kill - some of my most relaxing, enjoyable time spent:  the one and only Angel.

We were escorted by our lovely host Ava to the terrace where we sat in amazement of how the decor, music and energy of the room worked well together.

The terrace with the pool and overlooking the city is such a cool view, service killer!

The decor throughout the property is beautiful and we especially enjoyed the breakfast terrace.

Breakfast on the Terrace helped ease the pain, mostly because I like pancakes and bacon.

The food is delicious and the bar/ restaurant has a great atmosphere.
