but no note to say there was a charge for it which worked out at nearly $15 a bottle!

Hotel refused to refund the fee even if the reason for the charge was because of their wifi system.

but they charge a fee each day for things you don’t want like one free movie ticket for 2 guests and one tour ticket for one guest which means the other guest must pay.

Then told there was nothing they could do there was no Hollywood sign room to move us to and that they wouldn't be able to refund us only give us a credit to spend in the hotel despite the fact we are over half way through our stay now.

I did not like the fact that they charge for bottled water and at such a high price, and without clear indication of it (small print).

but after departure they charge your credit card with higher amound as was agreed in booking, and when you challange/claim that invoice is not correct, then they ignore you.

This change in hotel cost us an additional $455 USD in hotel charges and uber fares because of the unethical and disgraceful actions of the management at Loews Hollywood Hotel.

Flight delayed one day and despite both Loews and Booking.com telling me I would not be charged the first night (which due to flight delay, I did not use), I was charged it and when trying to get reimbursement was led on a merry-go round between the two companies.

Also don’t rent a car they charge $60 daily to park it.

They charge $11 for water bottles - in-room and have a $25 destination fee that we weren’t informed of.

I was charged an incidentals deposit and was told that it would clear as soon as check out was done.

I was charged twice and can’t get hold of the billing department to assist or resolve, Been trying for the past 4 days, I’ve sent emails, the person on chat can’t help me.

I’ll start out by saying that my ONE AND ONLY complaint was the destination fee ($25.99) the hotel charges daily and a $20 credit they give you (daily) that go towards the destination fee (confusing!).

The issue here is no one wants to miss out on the credit meaning the coffee shop is overcrowded and painfully slow.

But the service in room of the frigobar (locked for 6 days without reason) and then, they charged me things i didn't consume 5 days after i leave the hotel.

BUT we had to deal with the reception 4 times, each time very very unpleasant, and no explanation for the breakfast credits of $20 per room, we lost $320, the hotel did not wish to make a gesture.

Finally, since checking out we have been charged double the destination fees that we were expecting - they’ve probably increased their prices since we booked.

I paid this happily, being told it would be returned to my credit card the day of check out.

The hotel is right in the heart of Hollywood.

Highly recommended for a seamless stay in the heart of Hollywood.

Although you are in the heart of Hollywood this hotel is chilled and quiet.

Loews Hollywood is right in the heart of North Hollywood.

I recommend this hotel if you want to be in the heart of Hollywood.

Loew’s in Hollywood is a great location

Hotel is in the middle of pretty much everything that you need to see in Hollywood.

It was surprisingly quiet for the corner of Hollywood and Highland.

She made of our stay in Loews Hollywood such a great experience!

I’ll never stay anywhere else in the hollywood or L.A. area.

From the moment we arrived on property, we were delighted by the resort, the proximity in the center of Hollywood and most importantly, how the staff welcomed us during our entire stay.

The Hollywood sign is right outside as well as the Hollywood stars and Chinese Hotel.

We stayed at Loews Hollywood, it was very clean, very central to everything, the staff are terrific and the facilities are first class, would definitely recommend staying here, anytime you visit LA.

The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better for going to Universal Studios and for exploring Hollywood.

This Hotel was very nice, perfect location, as central for everything and overall happy with everything.

The location is great for tourist things, the Hotel itself is attached to the Ovation shopping centre which has shops, restaurants, even a gaming arcade which is iconic in the US, called Dave and Busters.

Perfectly located in the heart of the city, safe and clean.

The location was perfect for us and we felt very safe here and plenty of shops and  restaurants beside us.

Few positives were:
LOCATION: Very good if you want to see Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Boulevard.

Despite the surrounding area not being the most desirable, the hotel's strategic location just two blocks away from the bustling Hollywood Blvd provided the perfect balance.

Perfect location if you want to tour Hollywood.

Hotel is nice, location is good and staff is helpful and friendly.

The bowling,cinema,tour pass destination fee at $37 a day is one per room irrelevant of how many guests are staying and just a discount really which you are forced to pay for something you won’t use which is a disgrace and the staff get very defensive and aggressive when questioned about it.

The fee is $28 a day for nothing and a total con.

Expect to pay a mandatory daily resort fee of $28 dlls.,plus $20 dlls every day for parking.

Very expensive for what it is and we had few towels with stains and looked not good

Here is a disgraceful hotel, do not pay to be disgraced with your money here.

Only reason I’m not giving a 5 star is due to the hidden fees.

$20 surcharge for room service $60 a night valet parking microwave only available on one floor

the only thing that disapoint me was to pay mandatory the Resort Fee once i wouldn't use any of those facilities and I had to pay for that.

Even a single water bottle costs about $15,

Parking is a little expensive @$60 a night valet or 20$ a day self park

All kinds of issues for self parking when trying to pay

Do not stay here, we paid €300 for a security deposit.

but I was now out of pocket as I would need to pay a higher, last minute rate.

It is a bit pricey, so you will have to prepare,

A scam none the less when  you trust expedia for no hidden fees and then you get hit with the resort fee on the way out.

For the price I paid I would expect no bugs!

If you do stay here, request a room on a hover floor so you can bar some nice views of the city.

We stayed in a standard king room with city view, it was great.

The hotel and my room were fresh and clean.

The rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff were always very friendly, warm and welcoming.

The staff was courteous and the room was great.

This hotel had it all, from front of house staff so helpful , to lovely rooms and very comfy.

The location of the hotel is ideal for the tourist looking to experience Hollywood, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios and Beverly Hills.

Universal Studios is close and there's even babysitting services available.

The hotel is a stone throw away from Hollywood Boulevard, a short Uber ride to Universal Studios and a few mins walk from Mel’s Diner.

We arrived a day early and decided to visit Universal Studios which was only a short taxi ride away!

Great hospitality from staff and good location for tours to Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Malibu.

Metro station is right next door at the HIghland Mall and easy access to Universal Studios as well as Downtown.

Close to restaurants, metro which was great when visiting Universal Studios and the Staples Centre.

For those who are thinking of taking trains there’s a train stop very close to the hotel too which we used to go to Universal Studios.

The hotel is also a very short taxi ride ($6 with Lyft app) to universal studios and Warner bothers studios.

Close to the Hotel you can reach many Highlights like Shopping Malls or the spectacular Universal Studios.

The Hollywood Bowl is within walking distance as I’d Hollywood Blvd..Universal Studios.

The location was excellent for walking to the bowl, seeing the sights around the hotel and for taking the metro to Universal Studios, as we didn't have a vehicle.

Great place if you are wanting to go to universal studios.

For universal studio the metro is next is direct by the red line and especially take the express pass you can do everything in the day.

We really enjoyed our stay during our summer vacation to Hollywood walk of fame, Beverly Hills, LA zoo, bigbus tour and yes the universal studios.

We stayed at Loew’s Royal Pacific at Universal Studios in Florida and we loved it there too!

Very nice to rest, beautifull view outside in Hall of Fame.

We stayed at a suite at 20th floor, the view was amazing.

Our room had a good view - you could see the Hollywood sign from it.

Fresh prepared breakfast and helpful staff.

Breakfast is very good and free there is a lot if choice.

My mother in law has a scooter and she enjoyed how big the roll in shower was also.

but they look great and the complimentary breakfast was a very welcome surprise.

but one where free breakfast is helpful - It always feels nice to wake up and not have to get up, fully dressed and trudge out looking for a place to eat where you'll probably end up spending $50 - $60

No complaints about the quality either - its pretty good and free!

We felt the price we paid for our stay was very reasonable and the only thing I can fault is the breakfast.

Breakfast was decent and many options for dietary preferences.

Very close to local shops if you forget anything! They also have a nice and convenient breakfast available if that's something you look for in a hotel (eggs, potatoes, ham, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc.)

You are in the perfect location with public transport right outside your door if needed! Staff are always ready to assist, breakfast is great (and free!)

Breakfast was a great selection of pasties, bread, cakes, fruit, cereal, cooked items + yoghurts, it made a great start to the day.

We loved the DIY breakfast where selection and service were great - breakfast room is a little small so you sometimes had to wait for a table at peak times

There are 2 breakfast rooms and the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

If you find yourself just wanting to relax for an afternoon in the hotel that is no problem because they have a private swimming pool which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants (it doesn’t  feel like sitting around a hotel pool in the middle of LA).

Good location, walking distance to several restaurants, free continental breakfast, beautiful outdoor pool, gym, comfortable room for up to 4 peopke, courteous and helpful staff.

There was a complimentary breakfast which we had most mornings of our stay, sadly for us as vegans there wasn't a huge option

I found there to be plenty of options, and i'd rather have this free breakfast which sets me up for the day.

Breakfast was included.. the food was good, lots of choices, the coffee was great, the breakfast room was beautifully decorated and very inviting and warm.

The balcony was beautiful and we drank wine at night looking at the views, and then enjoyed the included breakfast  there the next morning.

I suspect this is a good location to base yourself, the plaza area outside is busy
