If you're looking for hospitable accommodations, clean rooms, 1 car parking included, 24hr security onsite, full on breakfast buffet every morning, swimming pool, hot tub, separate kiddie pool, workout gym, free shuttle to Disney, all of these things included with your room rate - friendly and welcoming staff, and a simple itinerary with less fees and easy to understand charges than most hotels, then this is your home away from home.

Our kids love the pool and hot tub with fresh clean towels on the deck.

The pool and hot tub was perfect after long park days.

We loved coming back from Disney in the afternoon to soak in the hot tub and let the kids swim in the pool.

We also enjoyed the hot tub every night after a long day at the parks.

Room were fresh and welcoming, comfortable beds, breakfast was fantastic, and hot tub was nice after a long day.

There are lounge chairs and a hot tub in a lovely setting - it really felt like we were staying at a small high-end resort.

but it also kept all the things we've always loved about the place: great breakfast, heated pool and hot tub, friendly staff, and premium rooms that come with those extras that make you feel pampered.

Pool and hot tub were a welcoming place to relax after a day of walking at Disney.

We truly enjoyed the hot tub each day of our visit.

The rooms are fine, the continental breakfast is better than most, the pool and hot tub are shady and enjoyable, and the staff are very accommodating and helpful.

There is also a hot tub located steps away under a gazebo and behind that it a toddler pool.

Super shuttle service, for free, good breakfast, nice pool, kiddie pool & hot tub for relaxing.

The beds are comfy, the pool and hot tub are heaven sent after a day on your feet.

We used the hot tub upon arriving late in the afternoon and found dinner at the Pizza Press a block away for a very reasonable price.

The other guests were so friendly and our evenings turned into social time by the pool and hot tub.

The pool area was quaint and we liked sitting in the hot tub.

but this hotel was one fourth of that price and we truly appreciated that as we had 2 rooms.

They were able to place us next to our family member's rooms which was great.

After our 2020 trip was cancelled due to Covid.We wanted to return to Anaheim as our grandchildren were older.Candy Cane Inn was absolutely magic,the rooms were spotless and the pool area was amazing as was the breakfast.

The renovations have made all the difference and the rooms are a definite improvement on the last time we stayed there in 2018.

Walking around the grounds and at breakfast I watched staff members working and to see them at breakfast, especially a middle aged male staff member around the pool area, cleaning up tables immediately making them available and clean for the next family and setting up chairs around the pool and also other staff members in the breakfast room always refreshing food, keeping the area clean and working non stop, they were just on top of everything which was so helpful to guests.

The family enjoyed the amazing hearty breakfast spread, the spacious room (delux due to pack and play), and the sense of safety (onsite security).

After a long day in the parks, go back to your adorable and clean room with comfy beds and pillows for a good night’s sleep.

The rooms are spotless and I truly still think about the nights of rest I got during my stay.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and just perfect for our group.

We did a mid-day break one day and housekeeping came back to clean our room for us after we ventured out to the park.

The room were bigger than the pictures lead you to believe.

The rooms are small so for more than two people I would suggest booking a deluxe room at least.

but when I asked to be on the first floor instead  he thankfully accommodated us =) The hotel rooms were a little small but since we were out most of the day . .

This property appears to be an Old Howard Johnsons or Motel 6 type of property that was renovated, so , the rooms are TINY!

The room is very small (we got the premium 2Q en was still very tight for my 2 teenage daughters and myself.

The only downside I could see to this hotel is if you plan on spending a lot of time in the room because the standard room is relatively small, not many tv channels,  and the rooms could use an update eventually.

My only real complaint is that outside noise can easily be heard inside the room, and our room has a small seating area right outside that was used by everyone and got quite loud.

The rooms are a bit small, as are the beds which are a bit soft.

Although our room was rather small it still had a night stand, a table and two upholstered chairs, a large bureau and a fridge and two queen beds.

Pool area was really nice - felt secluded and hot tub was great after a long day or a break in the afternoon.

The pool area was nice, even in January and we enjoyed the hot tub.

This motel is great in many ways - free breakfast, free parking, lovely staff, comfortable beds, plenty of USB adapters for charging electronics, strong WiFi signal, lovely little heated pool and hot tub, stone cold creamery (so awesome!!).

3 things we wanted for our Disneyland Hotel:  proximity to Disneyland, hot tub, free breakfast.

There is a nice enough pool and hot tub (which was actually hot!

There was a coin laundry on site which we used, and also a pool and hot tub, which we didn't use.

There is also a small hot tub which we enjoyed more than once as we watched the fireworks.

With free parking, hot buffet breakfast, nice outdoor dining area, clean pool & hot-tub with plenty of towels, and rooms that include bunk beds for kids - it really is the best bang for your buck in the area.

We used the pool and hot tub and could even see fireworks from the pool.

There is a hot tub and pool, lounging chairs as well as patio tables with umbrellas. There is onsite laundry too (which I seriously considered since the airline lost my bag!)

Everything worked in this hotel - bunk beds for the kids, hot tub and pool, decent breakfast.

The room was clean, the free breakfast was very nice, and the hot tub was a bonus!

One of my favorite parts of our stay was the pool and hot tub.

There's also a hot tub to soak the aches and pains in.

At this point, the children had been awake for close to 20 hours so we used bathroom in lobby and wore shoes in the room to make it through the night.

The outside noise can get a bit much at times, especially after park closing.

but you can hear people running/talking  outside your room, a car alarm going off in the lot will wake most people and the cleaning carts going by make for a loud rumble in the morning.

I imagine a bottom floor you would hear your upstairs neighbors though.

The bed frames are metal and were noisy if you accidentally kicked them with your foot.

I didn't notice any noise, other than hearing people in the next room from the bathroom.

First off the walls are so paper thin you can HEAR EVERYTHING.

But you also just walked about eight miles in the parks, soooo. One more thing, it was quiet - except one morning when a kid was running all around the room above us (curb your children, people!)

The only negative I can say is that the AC was a little loud so bring your earplugs.

If you're a light sleeper, you should ask for a 2nd floor room, and you'll still hear movement on the walkway so earplugs would be useful.

The only downside I can think of is it can be noisy and you can hear neighbors around and above you.

I have seen some reviews re: noise levels,

I would advise trying to get a room on the 2nd floor since being next to Disneyland there are a lot of children staying with their noisy feet.

First floor rooms can hear footsteps from above.

There was some louder than expected highway noise that could be heard from our room along the back edge of the property, past the pool.

The hotel is noisy - you can hear every footstep, every door closing.

No matter what time we left the room or returned, it had always been refreshed to the highest standard.

The room was perfect, clean, and spacious.

Ontop of that the rooms were clean and everything worked.

Ready for mid-day break & meal just amble on back to the room and throw together a nice lunch.

Room was adequate for a family of 4, and I appreciate when showers have curtains instead of clear glass doors, so multiple people can be getting ready at one time.

The rooms have a mini fridge which is great for keeping drinks and snacks chilled.

The value of the room was wonderful, and the staff was warm and welcoming.

We were on an upstairs room way in the back and it was very quiet.

but it was indeed a small space - a few wall hooks, small shelf or a stool would assist in keeping families organized in the room as there is only space on the floor and minimal counter space.

I read complaints the rooms had thin walls and you can hear everything from adjoining rooms.

If you don't already know, if you plan to have even a few minutes of not-completely-jam-packed wall to wall people at Disney, you had better be going through security before 7am (when the park opens at 8am).

Built in 1962, it is an aging facility whose rooms have some fundamental old problems - poor insulation, old-style wall AC/heat units (not the longer newer type which are fairly quiet and efficient, for example.

The ONLY downside to this hotel is that the walls are not overly thick.

The AC unit positioning was a bit curious, the little wall that comes out from the sink area seems to block some air flow.

My only Con  really was the walls are pretty thin so when the baby in the room next to us started crying we definitely heard it

Our only true complaint is that the exterior wall is very thin, as you can hear folks outside your room way too easily (although not the rooms on either side).

I had read reviews that the noise level at the hotel was bad and the walls are too thin - I considered this an extra $2 investment per night for the hotel room.

During the day we just stood it up and slid it between a bed and the wall in the bedroom so it was out of the way.

The walls are pretty thin and you can hear your above and beside neighbours very clearly.

The downsides were used toiletries.. eww, and our jacuzzi tub that I was so looking forward to after a long day at Disneyland still had cleaning product residue in it which I don't really want to soak in :(  There was also hair on the shower walls and our coffee pot had smear marks on it, from a dirty rag maybe?

The pools and hot tub were a welcome treat in the evening and the staff were so hospitable.

It has a nice pool, baby pool and a hot tub, plenty of parking .

Bed were so nice an people that work there had good service and were very friendly people I would for sure go back and give them more service I would recommend it for the family they have a pool and hot tub and a pool for little ones

We usually get an executive suite which is a very large room that comfortably sleeps our family of 6 and can easily fit my son's wheelchair.

I had hoped for a castle theme in the room

The good : room smells super clean, good size room, beds and pillows were comfortable, 10 min walking distance to the parks, good size refrigerator and microwave.

The rooms all have mini fridges and microwave which came in handy.

We stayed one night for a quick "sister trip" and we were very impressed by the customer service, cleanliness of the room, and convenient proximity to the parks.

The room I stayed in had comfortable beds, clean rooms, and nice facilities!

So this is the room I saw when I arrived.

The room was clean, room service did an awesome job keeping that up.

If you are on a budget and want a bigger family room close to Disneyland this is an ok option

The hotel was an easy 7 minute walk to the gates of Disneyland, we had free parking and large rooms!

I asked for an iron for our room and it was brought up right away.

strongly recommend this hotel easy to get to, great staff and clean rooms and easy to get to disney

,but I love it, great staff and if you ask for full service great cleaning,plus you can get extras they are helpful and bring things to your room.

Room is clean with basic nesesities for us speding the majority of day in the park.

This was a great ADA room with a roll-in shower that was made iwth wheelchair bound people in mind.

Sheets were old and felt pilly, mattress was not comfortable and room was very damp.

The rooms reeked of bleach, which seemed to be coming from either the bathroom or the a/c unit, we could never hunt it down completely.

When brushing teeth the stench coming from the sink was like sewage.

When grabbing a near by towel she noticed it was still damp and had several hairs on it.

but they werent impressed 🤪Room was old and dingy very outdated , the smell that came out of the drains was terrible , and the fridge was not cold and top rack was warm and ruined most of the food we planned to bring beyond frustrating  !

but the water did have a strange smell to it.

When we entered the room it was obvious that they are disinfecting between guest stays with bleach.

The worst part was the cigarette smoke that came through the 1/2” gap at the bottom of our door.

The hotel is aging and there were some small issues with the smell (we sprayed air freshener and it was fine) and functionality (water temp in shower).

It was a little musty smelling and our refrigerator was't very cool.

The room smelled oddly of honey and urine.

When we would leave the room, the entire area smelled like smoke.

Smokers should go stand by the wall in the carpark and not smoke outside their respective rooms, as the air-conditioners do bring the smoke into rooms.

But there was a strange smell in the room which I think was whatever cleaning products were used, we got used to it in time

Hotel charges you even if you cancel months before,

I was there for business and was competing for the outlets with my son who was charging his laptop for school.

The idea that Marriott feels that charging people over $40 ($35 plus taxes and fees🙄) a day to park their car when they are already spending $300.00 a day to stay at this facility is ridiculous and needs to be reevaluated!

but overcharged for parking my car in their garage for 4 nights.

Hotel is valet parking only and you have to get your car by 4pm on checkout day which makes it very inconvenient for being in the park-otherwise they’ll charge you another full day.

Several outlets including USB ports for charging devices in the room and multiple computers in the lobby for guests.

I requested he remove the charge and he basically said “I understand your thought

but what does bother me is this is the identical fee they charge to someone not staying at the hotel for "theme park parking" and this is on top of the resort fee.

I was stressed/worried I'd be charged additional fees.

Valet Manager argued with me about charges while my exhausted family waited.

Wasn't aware they also charge $30/day just to park there. really?!?

Only negative comment I would make is the daily parking fee is $30 and if you keep your car there after check out time on the day of departure  they charge you another $30 which seems unfair to me

When charging to your room you need to yell your full room number and last name for them to verify you prior to ringing up your order.

Credit to leadership at the top, especially Matt Stanley, Assistant General Manager who sets the tone for great-happy people doing their job well!

They charge a fiend for parking and they wanted additional money, 

I don't play the "Ambassador Elite" card,

You can call and order from your room, charge to your room, and they call you when it's ready so you can come down and grab it on your way to Disneyland.

however they billed for room service that we did not use it was the previous occupant of the room the day before we arrived.

On our rest days, my daughter would take advantage of the water park which had two cool water slides and various other water stations, a pool, hot tub, and a great big water bucket!

There was a pool, hot tub, multiple water slides, a large splash pad area… it was a lot of fun for the kiddors.

The waterpark is staffed with lifeguards and they also have park rules that keep the kids from splashing around in the deeper pool and hot tub.

The hot tub was very spacious and perfect.

The water slide and hot tub was fantastic for the kids and I also loved it too.

The reservation process was very easy and our four teens enjoyed the water slides and small pool, while us parents enjoyed the hot tub for our poor aching feet.

There were so many people piled in the hot tub we had to try to stay warm in the "heated" pool.

The water park is a lot of fun for the kids (the hot tub is a nice after a day on your feet at the park).

The room was so comfortable the kids loved the pool and the adults loved the hot tub can’t wait to go back!! !

There were two big slides, a bunch of slides for younger kids, a huge hot tub, and a lap pool.

Hot tub, two big kid slides, a whole area for all ages and a fun little pool for tiny ones.

It's great to relax at the hot tub after long day of walk at Disneyland.

After long days at Disneyland it was lovely to come back to the pool area and soak in the giant hot tub!

The pool is a big hit for our young kiddos with the big slides, hot tub, and play areas.

There was plenty of seating and a nice sized hot tub.

There is a hot tub as well.Staff incredibly pleasant and helpful.

There’s also a hot tub and a small pool thats 3.5 ft deep.

Rooms are clean and large and updated, and best part of all was that it is a 7 to 10 minute walk to the front gate at Disney/California adventure.

Wonderfully convenient and totally quiet large rooms, with a great full restaurant a few feet away (Mimi's).

As a mom, I enjoy having two showers and a double sink in the bathroom, as well as a big room where we can spread out our clothes and suitcases.

Comfy beds/lots of pillows, A/C good, pretty quiet, lots of room, great shower AND shower/bath in the bathroom, lots of towels, hot water, built in shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

Room was great, worked well for 4 adults and one child.
