From here you can walk to a variety of places in the downtown and it is extremely convenient to the Staples Center or the Microsoft Theater and we went to both during our stay.

Situated by Staples Center, on the southwest edge of downtown L.A. proper, it does allow walking access to the city itself (but nobody walks in L.A., right?).

Getting charged for something I shouldn’t have and not getting any feedback for it is unacceptable.

Make sure you receive documentation that you truly did pay cash otherwise they will charge your room and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
