The shower was absolutely to die for - the water pressure was AMAZING and the amenities provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were obviously top notch.

From a bathtub-shower combo with an impressively powerful water pressure, to beds that envelop you in comfort, your room will be a welcome oasis.

My room was large and very comfortable, the bed terrific (my wife would have pointed out the quality of the sheets and pillows), the water pressure in the shower outstanding.

From the bellman welcoming inside, the beautiful rooms - smell amazing, very clean, comfortable bed, strong water pressure. The managers and staff who constantly asked if you are enjoying your stay- and actually want to hear your answer (- thank you Nicolas.)

Bathroom is great, amazing bath amenities and wonderful water pressure.

Beds are hard and comfy, showers are big with excellent water pressure.

Bath room was extremely nice, plenty of counter space, great water pressure, heat lamp, complimentary robes and slippers, good quality toiletries.

The Bathroom even had Waterworks faucets in place, nice water pressure too, will stay again.

The water pressure was fabulous, and the height of the showerhead was great for my 6'+ tall husband.

NOW FOR THE FRAUD PART- After checking out 2 weeks later i started seeing random charges from this hotel on my card for $30 then a week later another few charges $25 at a time!

but Troy on management would only send a bottle of wine and comp food and beverage charges.

I was charged the full price for the room.

I don't think the hotel's hospitality is at the caliber they're charging.

The billing at checkout was messed up and actually still not resolved.

Another note is that they charge $46 per night for parking, so definitely worth factoring that into your budget as we didn't realise until we got there.

I reported this and, hopefully, won't be charged.

Its the little things that matter, and charging a resort fee for a small bottle of water per day has completely shocked me.

In dispute with them now unfortunately as money has been taken off my credit card over a month after I checked out.

but of course, no one at the front desk seemed to know what money was, so he had to charge the parking on his card, but they wouldn't let him leave a tip on the card.

but the taxi had the card machine not working and didn’t know even the area I was supposed to be in to catch a pre-paid bus to Vegas.

How are they able to charge my credit card without a signature and while I was not there.

We got breakfast, parking, $25pp/day credit and a slightly-upgraded room for $250 (before tax).

They claimed we had ruined the duvet and so attempted to charge us $500 - yes $500 for something we did not do!!

The only drawback was the fees of $39/night charged for the overnight parking.

although the credit was not on my bill, and my bill was $150 more than it should have been that I would not be charged.

We explained that we refused the wine the evening before and asked that she not charge us the exorbitant $39 overnight parking fee, which she indeed dropped.

We asked for some parmesan cheese for our pasta, this took so long it arrived after I had finished eating my pasta – which the waiter clearly saw and did not apologise for – and then oddly we were charged $2 for the cheese which is a first in any restaurant I have been to in the world!

When we arrived at the front desk, the person in charge was talking to another hotel guest and he did not even say "hi" or "i"ll be with you in a minute" very basic stuff, nothing.

I had to ask for help with my bags when I was leaving as I was struggling to carry them down a few stairs and they charged me for the breakfast that they said they would not do.

Valet Parking is expensive at around 65$ a day

Parking is tricky because there is no overnight street parking allowed so the only option is to pay fifty four for overnight valet parking.

(Surely the $25 USD per night ‘amenity fee’ could’ve stretched to cover some Nescafé Gold Blend and a kettle ;-))
‘Great’, we thought, ‘the worst is over’, we will avoid the rooftop and park our car in the nearby parking lot to avoid the exorbitant $45USD/day parking.

For example, I had a friend meet me for lunch, and they don't validate parking, so he had to pay $15,

We paid over $330 per night for the room (that does not include parking) and stayed their two nights.

The valet parking is eyewateringly expensive and the only option as the whole area is permit parking only.

It would have been nice to have had a warning of the no parking during the a.m. hours.

Lastly, you are not in NYC and should not be charging almost $40 per night for parking.

Not at the desk, or for ice, or parking valet.

My only negative point is the car parking which comes has a shock as I was not aware.

Charging $36 a day for hotel parking is outrageous.

When you get there, they don't tell you that the parking is 34$ per nigh.

I paid (tip not included) 45 bucks for a negroni spaliato and a bottle of water.

but we ended up having to leave to make our dinner.. seems petty but these are the minor details you're paying premium for.. 
- Service in general was slow.

Worst service in a restaurant ever had, yet expensive.

We did notice a large number of people by the pool who weren’t staying at the hotel, taking up space from those of us paying to stay there, which was a little annoying, as room rates were not cheap.

The lovely rooftop could not overcome the very low quality of our overpriced room.

Without me ever having to ask, Julio offers to pay for mouthwash to be delivered to me via his own app and phone and let me reimburse him via Venmo.

but for the price there is simply no excuse for the apparent lack of training of staff and general poor service.

And I would never pay rack rates here-it's totally not worth that rate and in fact barely worth the $199 rate I did pay per night.

but the rest of the experience was mediocre and for the price - not acceptable.

I believe this approach is the worse possible one: I am the customer, I pay my dues and I want to experience the hotel which I am staying in normally.

Food is very expensive at the hotel as well .

The rooms are shabby, the shower barely adequate, the staff self-important, the rate overpriced for what you get.

however on check out I was hit with a $30 dollar per day resort fee!!!!!

The rooftop pool is a perfect place to relax.

Was looking for a hotel with a good rooftop pool, and this fit the bill perfectly.

Spent one night here, the pool and rooftop area is 24hrs, cabaret show that day was amazing, and it was an enjoyable stay!

From the greeting we received from the friendly and kind valet staff, to the cool and eclectic vibes you get when you pass through the ivy covered entrance, to the beyond comfortable rooms, to the stunning and fun-filled rooftop and pool, to the endless amount of entertainment, to the delicious room service, to the staff that go above and beyond, to the delicious drinks and amazing bar staff at the Butterfly.

The rooftop pool is so nice (and heated) and the view of LA is simply gorgeous.

Food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the 24-hour rooftop pool was the best part.

I had the pleasure of staying on the 4th floor (their top floor) which comes with access to their private rooftop pool and the hotels two personal concierges - Taylor and Sergio, both of whom helped make my trip super memorable.

Everything about Petit Ermitage was absolutely perfect for us: from the delicious breakfast to lounging in luxury by the rooftop pool to sleeping on the most comfortable pull-out couch in the world.

The staff, the food, the restaurant and rooftop experience are all one-of-a-kind.

The hotel’s rooftop restaurant offered delicious food, amazing drinks and a breathtaking views.

We relaxed on the roof top after dinner on the day beds, under the heat lamp, and cosy blanket, with twinkling lights and the stars above!!

The rooftop restaurant is also outdoors, with most tables having their own canvas privacy curtains and space heaters in this private, tropical-feeling, exotic space.

We then had a truly romantic dinner on the rooftop in the Garden, enjoyed some live music in the Master’s Lounge, and relaxed by the pool the next day.

Looooved the rooftop restaurant which actually is better than a lot of "hot spot -restaurants" in the same area - a big plus to me!

The rooftop restaurant was lovely and the pool was chic and filled with chic-er guests.

The hotel is curated with exquisite detail from the rooms to the restaurant menu to the rooftop pool and the live music sessions they sometimes host.

We were so in love with the rooftop restaurant, the atmosphere, and the staff, so we ended up eating AND drinking a ton on the fourth floor where the restaurant and pool are located.

Simply one of the most beautiful rooftops and restaurants I’ve been to anywhere, period!

We were pampered with a romantic tent for dinner on the rooftop restaurant along with taste and smells that tempted our palette.

butterfly bar and garden are absolutely magical and the restaurant at the rooftop pool was perfect!

The private rooftop where the restaurant is situated is home and sanctuary for hummingbirds and Butterflies.

Everything about my experience here was spectacular.

After dinner we had the pleasure of catching a live jazz band (the Tyler Hammond Jazz Experience - these guys play here often, definitely don’t sleep on them) in the parlor area before heading down to our amazing room.

GREAT shower, hot hot water and the best water pressure I've found in the U.S.

Although they have unfinished concrete walls, there are some good amenities:  Wells stocked fridge with all kinds of drinks and snacks; very nice motorized blackout shades; very good water pressure.

The water pressure in the shower was excellent, maybe even too much for some.

We voiced our concern to the front desk and were assisted by two amazing managers, Amanda and Juan, who placed us in Hollywood Observatory Doubles and sent up some waters as an amenity.

Very impressed with the water pressure which gives you a great feeling after a day outdoor.

Water pressure in the shower was fabulous and the beds were comfy.

Floor to ceiling to wall window illuminates the whole room through a lifting screen, awesome art objects throughout the room, good bathroom with great water pressure and amazing towels.

We was given the room with the King Bed - Hollywood Hill View, The room was thoughtfully decorated with a large window facing the Hollywood sign.

I liked the idea of The Line (cool, location, that view of the Hills and the Hollywood sign in their pictures that i read about in the New york Times and so I booked here) 

The floor to ceiling windows offered a breathtaking view of the hills and the Hollywood sign.

In the distance, you can make out the Hollywood sign on the hills (the pic I uploaded is 3x zoom).

Also, the views of Hollywood are amazing.

We had a room on the 6th floor with a fantastic view of the Hollywood sign in the distance.

I had the privilege to enjoy the greatest view of Hollywood on the 9th floor for one night.

Very fast check in, my room had this from floor to ceiling window with a great view overlooking the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory in the distance.

Some initial highlights: Alfred's coffee in the lobby (check), Trendy bar attached to the hotel (check), amazing Hollywood sign views from our hotel window (check), awesome staff (check).

The view was immaculate (your bed is facing the window as you wake up to views of the Hollywood sign/hills + the Observatory) and the thoughtfulness of the space really made our stay serene.

We loved the exposed concrete walls in the hotel, the stunning views of the Hollywood sign from our room and brunch at The Commesary was delicious.

but I liked the View of the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory.

Room was comfortable and well decorated,  and even came with a view of the Hollywood sign.

Definitely take the Hollywood View upgrade if it is available, you will not be disappointed.

My favourite hotel in LA - the views of the Hollywood sign are stunning and the rooms have everything you need.

Whilst not huge, the setup was perfect:
-	Awesome view to the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory from the 9th floor.

However, from arrival the experience was positive; valet parking and check in efficient, rooms allocated on Hollywood view side of hotel - "we realise you are a family and need quieter rooms" - which was great.

After that i was really happy with a view toward the Hollywood sign and peace and quiet.

But we had a wonderful time, the staff was really nice, the room super trendy with a nice view over Hollywood sign.

This is a wonderful hotel set in Korea town, amazing views.

It's a modern and simple hotel located near Koreantown in LA.

The hotel is close to convenience stores and many other restaurants around in Korea town which is a great area to explore.

The Line LA is a great vibe in the midst of Korea Town.

We entered the chic hotel lobby in the heart of Korea town where we were warmly greeted by Alex at the front desk offering to check us in, his sincere attitude and upbeat smile made us forget about the many delays and travel woes we experienced flying from NYC.

Came here for a weekend getaway and I heard about this place from a friend, it’s in the heart of Korean town and it’s walking distance to plenty of things.

Close to some great korean restaurants as it is in Korea town.

This hotel is located on Wilshire blvd which is great if you wanted to stay in the middle Korea town and like to visit Korean stores.

Great location close to Korea Town amd the metro.

Location perfect for DTLA, silver lake and of course the cool dive bars of Korea town

Mentioned this to front desk and all they wanted to do was charge me another 40 dollars to move rooms to the back

but not after having paid over $150 for breakfast, $50+ for parking, $50 plus for a couple drinks….don’t waste your money or time with snooty hotels like this and the furniture in the lobby is disgustingly dirty!

Breakfast is not included, you need to order room service and it is expensive.

Just an example, I had lunch at the pool, they separated the bill after I paid so that they could individually charge an amenity fee $30 plus tax $4.35 for each individual item on the receipt .

They told me the only alternative was to pay again for my stay and get a refund from the third party.

Possible solutions:
-Bring ear plugs (or they should be complimentary in the room)
-Book an interior room (don't pay for a view)
-Keep the fan on rather than auto to drown out the street noise

For context, I am a very sound sleeper who is rarely bothered by the typical hallway noise of a typical hotel.

They have lousy customer service and an expensive hotel without a parking lot.

Booked a 145 rate and only when receiving my folio did I realize my rate was 20 dollars more per day.

They charged me $25 per night with the name under "amenities" for using WiFi,

Please go somewhere else, and pool was cold, so what is the fees charged for????

The hotel has a "resort fee" which is a ridiculous

On arrival we were informed of the $45 dollars per night for parking, too expensive and no alternative available.

Let’s continue with the bed:
The hotel charges north of USD250.00 which is probably similar to the big brand.

The “$20 Amenity Fee” water was a small 8.45 fl oz./250 mL carton, which we only got on our first night.

Valet parking is expensive at 42 dollars per day

I would suggest bringing your own water because the water they provide in the room is overpriced.

Room service for a cup of coffee is 11.00, so it's a bit expensive

This is not a resort, it's just a pricey hotel, and this fee is not disclosed on their website and is pure profit.

For us it was the worst hotel stay we have had in this price range so far.

This was a very noisy Hotel, the noisiest hotel I’ve have stayed in .

The hotel needs to invest in double glazing the windows as it is extremely noisy.

Do not stay here unless you want to be woken up by airhorns from protestors at 7am!

If you like rooms that are like jail cells with TV's, noisy bars and traffic, quite rude staff, no parking, no good restaurants nearby - Then The Line is for you !

When I got back, I heard a siren that felt like I was on the first floor because it was so loud.

So bring earplugs or download a white noise app on your phone.

In my room, for a couple with a teen-ager, (three people total, two beds) we were tripping over each other and banging our head on the TV (hanging on wall corner) and tripping on furniture as we squeezed through to get to bathroom.

Especially as the shower had no pressure, was overdue for a remodel and the shower head came apart, and the fact that I could literally hear the guy in the room above going to the bathroom.

If you can tolerate the fan, it may serve you to block out the street noise.

but double pane windows and thicker walls would help a lot with traffic noise and neighboring rooms beside, below, and above us.

Unless you want to listen to loud music 24/7 go somewhere else.

It's very loud on both sides of the hotel from construction and traffic.

The bed was inches from the window with a black out curtain that didn’t go all the way down and the traffic noise was extremely loud all the time.

The window is not sealed properly so that you hear the loud street noise without filtering.
