but need to charge you a little of the haste, paper work and so on then that's understandable but this was a joke.

when we reached, the person on the desk asked us our identity and the whole balance amount in cash only,  even he didn't show us iur room.

I was told no because the card had to be present.

Makesure you do not loose your key and ensure checking out is before 11AM otherwise you will incurr an extra charge.

I see one reviewer said $35, they charged me $45.

I do not suggest any EV user charge their car here if they don’t have a Tesla.

The only head's up is that they charge for enclosed parking

We were disappointed to be notified when we checked in that parking is an additional charge, $30 a day!

My sister and I were locked out of our apartment with no spare key no help from our landlord and no hotel willing to check us in without a major credit card.

Upon check in we learned that they had canceled our reservation due to not having a card on file,

however left a lot to be desired - one was hanging off the wall and certainly couldn’t be used safely, another was behind a heavy unit (where the safe and microwave are) with it also slightly hanging off the wall, the only socket safe enough was below the TV so charging items was a bit of a challenge at times.

He used a disinfectant wipe for the credit card the terminal and all effortlessly.

We headed upstairs to find that the card keys to our room did not work.

suite” room we had booked wasn’t ready yet.. After 3pm we checked and was told it would be another couple of hours, or they could put us into a newly renovated room “for no additional charge”  Around 3:45 we finally got into room 209.

To charge more than one thing at the same time was a problem.

After we made the reservation we got a email from the hotel showing all of the "extra charges" like parking in their parking lot $27 + tax a night.

I said just credit my card with a nights stay refused point blank, absolutely no customer service/ consideration whatsoever.

At other hotels, you just present your ID and credit card and that’s it, unless you're applying for a job there.

but there is a tax or charge for everything California.

There is laundry, a bar (Opens in the evening, a nice secluded pool with seating and lounge chairs, small dinning area that serves complimentary breakfast where Hugo can make you a fantastic omelette to start your day.

We chose this hotel as it offered free buffet breakfast.

The breakfast was fabulous (not always the case with an included breakfast) and the sauna was an amazing feature.

From there amazing front desk staff to the omelets at breakfast, they really know how to treat their guest like Hollywood stars at the hotel.

I’ve worked in hotels and travel agencies so am all too familiar with what good customer service looks like, and Bailyn certainly has that.

Through the stay I was provided with excellent customer service and close attention to detail.

Breakfast is also served up here and is a beautiful way to start the day; with signs of the Hollywood Sign just behind you.

My experience in Hollywood had been made more enjoyable due to all of the staff’s friendliness and excellent service!, including in the rooftop pool area and restaurant where I’d eaten breakfast from a wide selection of options that were on offer, in sight of the ‘Hollywood’ sign.

The shower was very good, though they should have more hangers in the room. Breakfast very tasty, on the roof, that had a nice view of Hollywood and its sign,

but that was exceptional with its location on the roof and amazing views of the Hollywood hills, sign and Hollywood itself.

The rooftop is fantastic; you can savor your meal while taking in the Hollywood view.

It was super modern, clean and the room had amazing views of the Hollywood sign/hills.

We had a great room on the corner with floor to ceiling windows and fantastic views over Hollywood.

The parking is $60 + tip in a hotel that's already really expensive.

However, Dream Hollywood charges $60 + tax per night to valet at the hotel and this happened to me more than once.

Although the area is kind of bustling, the hotel rate is a bit too high for what you get.

My room needed to be corrected, and it took 24 hours to fix it-- next, the rate I agreed to didn't reflect the corporate rate.

3 hours past check-in time is completely unacceptable for the price you pay to stay at this hotel.

My stay was alright until I checked out and found out how expensive it actually was.

My only downside feedback is the room service options were limited and expensive,
Plus you couldn’t order it to charge to the room or
Even order it from the tablet  .

Then we get back to uk only for the hotel to charge for mini bar £200 which we didn’t use ?

This was hugely disappointing as part of the reason we paid premium prices.

Just Another portrait of a very Dehumanized america - a kid in scorching August heat on a hotel with lots of available (paying) cabana shades and you have to complain to get a shade, or pay some serious cash for one of the cabanas.

Rooftop restaurant closed if wet so clients expected to get take-in - not what we would have expected in an expensive hotel.

Too expensive for not having the basic necessities

Also, parking is expensive $50-60 overnight.

Only negative is the prices for valet, self parking is very expensive as well and is more than a block away.

Arrived at the hotel and they told us they were booked so each room had to pay different wages.

but this hotel really made my stay very difficult and unpleasant specially after paying high quality service fee per night.

Upon returning to the hotel late that night there was so much traffic trying to get down the small block where the hotel is, that I sat parked at the light for at least 25 minutes.

I would say the only downside is the noise and music coming from the rooftop bar/lounge until 2am.

Band at private event was so loud reception staff couldn’t hear us.

When we returned to the hotel at 11p on a Thursday night, the traffic was crazy as was the drop off at the valet (there is no self park option).

This hotel has a rooftop nightclub on the 10th floor making it VERY loud and noisy on nights the club is open.

Also, if you don't want to hear music in your room, you might need to avoid this property on weekends, as you can definitely hear it for hours if they're doing a rooftop party.

- had to request turndown service of bedding because the sheets were full of hair and debris (requested twice because they didn't come the first time)
- no free breakfast or even small bites in the lobby
- if there's a party at Tao, your room will vibrate and be very loud until it stops (3am for us)
- the parking lot next-door is ran by a private valet company, who charges whatever they want to at night.

Most of the week all you can hear is "city sounds" and not much else.

however, it was next to the bin store so every morning at 5am we were woken up.

The not so good: the fan on the room's AC is loud, even at the low setting and there was an odd light on the bathroom sink cabinet that would click on/off when it sensed the slightest movement.

The only downsides to flag are that it can be a bit noisy on a weekend night in the halls and while it's in a really convenient Hollywood location, can be a bit sketchy to walk around at night

Over the phone, the sound of hoards of people flooded the call, requiring me to speak louder to ask if they could call in for us to get the extra seats.

The sliding door to the balcony did a poor job of sealing out this noise.

Note: there's a club next door, so you might experience some heavy noise once a week.

Only downside was that you could hear the music from a nearby club until 2am.

They do have a club so it can be noisy at night for those looking for more of a quieter stay somewhere.

You will likely hear the street noise, or rooftop party noise from any and all rooms in this hotel until it shuts down (approx. 2am).

I cannot emphasise enough how loud it is.

No soundproof of any kind, so you can hear the music and loud talking so well, it makes sleeping impossible.

The roof top pool and bar was an incredible experience with a fantastic view to match.

The rooftop pool deck is a favorite  and hosts some incredible events Z The Hollywood area of course has some challenges,

Restaurant is lovely  as is the roof top pool.

The rooftop pool was refreshing and the tanning area was very relaxing!!!

The rooftop pool is excellent and a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

The Highlight Room which is connected to the Roof top pool has friendly staff, really unique small dishes and consistent great flavors

We met Vic our bartender at the Hilton and he did a great job recommending an Italian restaurant at city walk.

but found this more convenient for City Walk and Universal.

Walking distance to Universal and city walk.

It is right in Universal Studios too if that is your destination with a free shuttle to the park and City Walk.

Super close to Universal - less than 5 min walk which we found handy to go for dinner at City Walk or take a break from the park.

The hotel has the perfect location; you can either walk or take the hotel shuttle to go to universal studios or city walk.

They do have a schedule you can take back and forth to the restaurants and shopping by Universal (city walk),

Hilton Universal is always great to stay at friendly helpful staff nice hotel good pricing and super close to Universal studios and city walk a great time each time we have stayed .

Access to Universal Studios is awesome with their shuttle that takes you to city walk.

City Walk is close with lots of restaurants to choose from.

Didn’t like that the front desk charged for bottle waters.
