Down fall they charge additional $26 for parking per night which they deduct from $200 deposit Fee.

Not enough outlets, nothing by night stands to charge your devices.

When I called the hotel to dispute the charge, the manager was so rude.

and soon after we checked out on feb 20, we got over charge 50 dollars.

The only recommendation is usb outlets or plugs to charge phones with cables only.

My only issues were the high charge for parking and WiFi.

They also notify you at checkin that they are going to charge 21 dollars a day to park at their place or you can park across the street, as they told us.

Also parked a rental car for 3 days and had charge come through in middle of the night that looks like they charged many more days

There is no phone charging outlet near the bed.

Oh and the Hilton next door charged my card to another guests room.

Finally, they overcharged me for parking (which had been included in my AAA rate) and it was multiple phone calls to clear it up.

Key card did not work well in the parking garage.

but you had you do not disturb up” card was slipped under the door of my replacement room sometime between 8PM and 7:30AM when I left the room.

The parking charge could have been less-wasn't like it was valet, and valet isn't an option.

The worst part, there is very limited technology in the rooms, they don't even have charging stations (hint: bring your own, otherwise you'll be unplugging lamps to charge your devices).

They should be ashamed for charging $21/day for parking.

We also did wish that there were outlets next to the bed to plug in phones to charge at night.

There are virtually no outlets in the room and none near the bed, you'll have to charge your electronics on the floor, on the table on the other side of the room or on the desk out in the sitting area.

I don't like having a separate charge for parking.

NO OUTLETS anywhere near the bed to charge devices.

He was very kind and went above and beyond to take care of my family

We stayed  there for a wedding, great value for the money , suite is spacious, bed and sofa bed are comfortable, plenty of room for a family.

This is rapidly becoming my favorite place to stay while visiting family in the area.

We were attending a family wedding and the hotel was very accommodating with spacious rooms, lobby area, and breakfast was very good.

all in all I would definitely stay here again and would recommend any family visiting the area to give it a go.

As a family we always like to stay at a Embassy suites because they are usually big enough to accommodate us without having to get two rooms.

The in room fridge and microwave make late night snacks a breeze and the complementary cocktail hour was a big hit for our family.

We informed the hotel staff ahead of time that we are arriving late, as soon as we arrived THERE WAS NO EYE CONTACT, not even a welcome, both staff are glued to their screens, they gave us a SMOKING ROOM single bed and my family is with me.

The hot breakfast is always a winner, with the omelet bar, and good hot food with a lot of variety.

It has a sewer problem told the manager and he was not concerned.

Leaks from the bathroom faucet and under the sink left the vanity and floor soaked, the bathroom hook fell out of the wall when a towel was hung up, the sheer curtains in the bedroom were literally in shreds, and the couch smelled so bad I couldn’t bear to sit on it.

butt and the fact that we did not ever hear from the managers manager, whatever that is, I feel really shows that they just don’t care about their customers.

but the underground parking is a bit tight and smells like a sewer so beware of that.

The room smells, dated, stains on bed covers, pillow case, couch.

Phone in the sitting area didn't work and the sink in the bathroom would fill up and just a slow drain.

My room had urine smell and no one has fixed it during our stay despite asking for it a few times.

The parking garage is disgusting and the facilities in general are below standard for a hotel of this price in Glendale.

The vent in the shower was absolutely disgusting full of dust.

Upon checking into my room that was supposed to be sanitized because of Covid, I found crumbs on the sofa cushions, and when I lifted the cushions to open the sofa bed there were even more crumbs! Disgusting!!

Sewage water came up through the bar sink at midnight, leaving a putrid smell and destroying several of our groceries.

There was a sewer smell in both our rooms, elevator and parking garage.

The first few nights were a reward stay and the room was awful (smelled of smoke every night causing asthma).

This facility has less than zero customer service, employees are rude, condescending and the heaters in the room (if they work) are full of filth and dust.

However, the water in the bathroom (sink, toilet, shower) had a sulfuric smell.

Pool itself is shallow, and the hot tub was gross in my opinion, sand clumps riding the foam piles. Yuck.

but this one has a coi pond in the lobby and the smell was unbelievably bad.

There was disgusting hair and lint on the bed.

Probably a legacy Embassy Suites, our room 1002 was torn up, tile pieces in the bathroom pull up and getting stuck on our feet, drapes in the living room pulling off the tracks, 10th floor stunk of heavy cigarette smoke, beer cans all over the place, people hanging out in the hallways, rude breakfast staff.

On the other side, the cleanliness was a bit subpar; a pool in front of the hotel was full of debris and turning green, our room coffee was not refreshed one day, and a few crumbs were noticed on an end table in our room.

We met Vic our bartender at the Hilton and he did a great job recommending an Italian restaurant at city walk.

but found this more convenient for City Walk and Universal.

It is right in Universal Studios too if that is your destination with a free shuttle to the park and City Walk.

Super close to Universal - less than 5 min walk which we found handy to go for dinner at City Walk or take a break from the park.

The hotel has the perfect location; you can either walk or take the hotel shuttle to go to universal studios or city walk.

They do have a schedule you can take back and forth to the restaurants and shopping by Universal (city walk),

Those were surprise charges, my fault for not reading the small print on the website.

We also got constant reminders that if any of makeup will get on towels we’ll be charged upwards of $50 for each item ..

Next day when leaving garage the automatic gate would not accept out parking card and charged another $30.

We were charged $5 for delivery of utensils/napkins.

Didn’t like that the front desk charged for bottle waters.

but her demands to produce a card to be scanned is something I only encounter with junior/newer staff and maybe once every 50 stays.

They could not contact the restaurant manager, seemingly not believing my breakfast charge, and after waiting 20 minutes they said I would receive a phone call within 2 days from the manager.

I was not charged for early check-in and was given a password for wi-fi.

They charge you $30 if you want to get into your room prior to standard check-in time.

Her credit card machine was having issues and she asked the other guy to use his machine.

Last time we visited we emailed to ask if it would be possible to get a universal studios view and we were given a fab room on the 20th floor with the view at no extra charge!

We refused to pay an extra charge, since we were promised another room at no extra charge.

The only items that caused me to not give a full 5-stars is the fact our rooms bathroom door was incredibly squeaky AND that, in order to check-in early we were charged a $25 fee.

The Cons, windows leaked when it rained, wetting our luggage & runners, extremely high charge for rollaway beds, tiny half size tub, not practical for relaxing.

If you do not leave before 6pm, hotel charges an additional $12 for 1 additional hour.

- The digital key card didn't work consistently, or at all at the pool.

My ONLY complaint is that the card we were given about breakfast hours indicated until 11am daily

Only whinge is parking charges either $28 self or $42 valet.

My 2 kids aged 9 & 11 are quite picky eaters and ate virtually nothing yet I got charged full price for them.

We had a problem with our original room, which maintenance couldn’t repair, so they said they would find us another room and send the key cards up to us.

My family often stays at this hotel when they visit so it’s a pleasure to come by and enjoy some drinks at the hotel (good drinks are hard to come by at big hotels like this).

My family and I visited the Hilton Hotel in LA Universal and had dinner at the beautiful restaurant outside on the patio area called five on the hill.

More of a family environment, which makes sense next to Universal Studios.

Love the bar tenders vibes I would recommend it to my  friends and family.

Great option if you are visiting LA, with the family or business, it’s just a couple of hundred meters away from Universal Studios park and every 15 minutes arrives a Shuttle.

I look forward to going back with my family.

but them just going above & beyond to help my family out really convinces me that this is my go to hotel from now on!!

Otherwise, the room was nice and if I were to bring my family on vacation to Universal, I would probably enjoy my stay at this property,

We were there for four nights and quickly became "part of the family".

She even had the ￼Audacity of threatening us to take the other families vouchers away.

The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms feel luxury, and the staff makes you feel like family!

We highly recommend this location for a family vacation/stay.

The breakfast buffer is a bit pricey  bit wow, what a choice!

For a start this is not a cheap hotel and can charge up to $800 a night and for that I really expect my room to be serviced every day not just by request and that is due to expense and not the lame excuses listed on there website 
Also when classed as high end property I would had thought the room would have a shaving mirror.

Cost of room was around $300 per night due to the long weekend holiday.

Breakfast was expensive and you must make up your own room.

However I don’t like that I had to pay for parking.

As my corporate card is on-file and was confirmed on the reservation, I usually only have to present my id, one of the perks of having status with the Hilton brand, as if I failed to show up, they would charge my credit card for the rate/no-show fee.

but get 3 and half stars, because the parking should be included and not excluded from the price.

You shouldn't have to wait dozens of hours for amenities you paid for.

It was just overall disappointing for what we paid.

This hotel is way too pricey to be inhaling mold spores!!!!

The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on, the a/c in our room hardly worked, the parking is expensive per night, the dining options are pretty lackluster.

The amenities are not over done and over priced.

We headed down to breakfast, this wasn't included in price of stay which I was of my only complaints, we had decided in room we were just going to order off menu

My last mini gripe is that the buffet breakfast is ridiculously expensive $100 including tip for two adults and a 13 year old!

Just before the trip - we noticed room rates had discounted - so I rang the Hotel direct to see if they could assist.

The hotel was quite nice - very much Marriott/Hilton level, There are some little niggles with a few things, nothing major that would cause a bad day, just minor things (hot tub closed one day, shower really leaked into bathroom floor, gift shop prices on soda insane, minor things).

Everything was excellent the only thing is that they don't have microwave on the room and if you need one you have to pay extra 30 dollars and that is not convenient if you are with kids because especially mine want to eat all the time

We stayed at this Hilton by Universal Studios because it's close to the park and they have a shuttle that takes you to the CityWalk.

The location was convenient since it was very close to Universal studio.

It was about a 6min walk to universal studios, and if we didn't want to walk there is a free shuttle that'll take you to Universal City Walk.

The walk to universal studios was 5 minutes.

It is a 5 minute walk to Universal Studios and City Walk (which is a food and retail complex next door to the studios).

Though the hotel is large, it was easy to navigate and was a quick walk to Universal Studios (about 10 minutes) then we used their shuttle on the way back from City Walk (since we were exhausted by then).

The property is only 8 mins walk from universal studios and a Shuttle service all day long .

The hotel was a 5 min walk to the Universal Studios front gate, also a short Lyft/Uber ride to the Hollywood Bowl, Warner Brothers' Studios, Griffith Park/Observatory and the Hollywood comedy clubs.

It is a less than 10 minute walk to both Universal Studios and Universal City Walk.
