The pool was heated and surrounded by flowers, lovely patios and terraces reminiscent of an Italian Villa.

The front desk was very welcoming and helpful and there is a gorgeous view of beautiful flowers and plants by the pool.

Our room was lovely, very big with two beds (which were very comfy indeed) a kitchenette and it overlooked the beautiful pool area which was surrounded with gorgeous pink flowers.

If you find yourself just wanting to relax for an afternoon in the hotel that is no problem because they have a private swimming pool which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants (it doesn’t  feel like sitting around a hotel pool in the middle of LA).

Good location, walking distance to several restaurants, free continental breakfast, beautiful outdoor pool, gym, comfortable room for up to 4 peopke, courteous and helpful staff.

There was a complimentary breakfast which we had most mornings of our stay, sadly for us as vegans there wasn't a huge option

I found there to be plenty of options, and i'd rather have this free breakfast which sets me up for the day.

Fantastic hotel, comfortable and clean, within easy reach of all the major sightseeing locations, especially as sightseeing tours available from hotel and with stops close by also.

Firstly the place is excellently located and good value for money all things considered in LA.

It is in a convenient location on Sunset Boulevard, we used the underground car park for the duration of our stay ($29 a night) and then used Ubers to get everywhere.

although the Hollywood area as a whole can be slightly sketchy, this location was secure and private.

You are in the perfect location with public transport right outside your door if needed! Staff are always ready to assist, breakfast is great (and free!)

This was a lovely hotel and a welcome retreat at the end of a 3 week road trip, a small Italian style hotel, our room over-looked the courtyard with  a good sized pool.

I would highlight recommended this hotel, I was very impressed with the room we got.

Our room was large big bathroom walk in shower, fridge, coffee maker.

The room was good and girl looking after it was very helpful when asking her things.

So we were quiet surprised when we got our rooms and they showed up to have no view in fact no day light.

Our stay was pleasant, the room was clean and the furniture was comfortable.

You do have to request for the maid to clean the room every day - not an issue

There is a great size fridge in the room, so we were able to pick up what we needed at Trader Joes.

We loved the DIY breakfast where selection and service were great - breakfast room is a little small so you sometimes had to wait for a table at peak times

There are 2 breakfast rooms and the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

Cons: the place smells so strongly of some kind of chemical.

Carpets old and smelly, breakfast was limited and paper plates plastic knifes and forks.

Unfortunately the area was smelling of weed as some guests used the back area to smoke in.

however the new room smelt a little fusty, hotel reception sofa and rug is dirty, staff require more customer service training.

On the flip side, customer service was rather cold, and in spite of upgrades, this is an old building with a funky smell from the lobby to the rooms.

There is a horrible old carpet smell throughout building - distinct wet/old smell - in the room and halls - it badly needs replacing.

The tiles in the swimming pool were filthy you could wipe the dirt of with your hands, see attached photo.

Had a bug in my bed, pullout bed had a downward incline where your head was lower than your legs, breakfast lacked a variety of foods and lobby had a musty horrible smell.

Only things we had issues with were the HVAC system which seemed a bit dated, and a musty smell in the hotel room and throughout the halls.

The air conditioning/heating wall unit was absolutely filthy.

The cigarette smoke would permeate the halls.

-The BREAKFAST is yet another bait and switch - they offer disgusting moldy 25 cent pre packed muffins with NO COFFEE and call it breakfast.

butt germs all over the place and no one said a word.

One on of the tables by the couch, there was some gross residue that wasn't wiped down by housekeeping--though it was not visible until we saw it on the wiping cloth.

although it was dark and felt smaller than room 212, it smelt fine so we accepted it.

but only disappointment was that despite the hotel being non smoking, someone before us had flouted the rules!

The pool area is lovely , sadly some people ignore the no smoking policy,

So it is a rather dirty and smelly area(urine etc.

Breakfast among the worst in my entire life, just packed food on board plates.

we constantly had to ask for more plates cutlery and food they couldn't keep up with the demand.

The use of single use/disposable paper plates and cutlery seems wasteful.

No restaurant or bar, breakfast is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery in a cramped room that struggles to cope with the amount of guests staying, we had to clear our table when we had finshed and put the used plates, cutlery and waste food in an overflowing bin, see photo.

but you could take your tray up to 4th floor breakfast room where there was more seating up there ,the main breakfast room was floor 3 street level, we didn’t need to go to floor 4 as we always got a table.

Paying $300 a night should entitle us to more than disposable cutlery and plates.

but is served with paper plates and plastic cutlery.

however even my children commented on the use of plastic plates and cutlery as environmentally unfriendly!

but what is with the paper plates and plastic knives and forks.

The most unusual thing was the use of paper plates and plastic utensils for breakfast.

The only thing that could be improved would be the use of paper plates and cups for breakfast.

but they had paper plates and plastic cutlery which I found a bit strange but all in all was a good enjoyable stay

Very basic breakfast and disposable plates and cutlery.

however the food is very average and served on paper plates.

By this I mean - cups provided in room were of the disposable variety, and individually wrapped in plastic bags; all of the eating utensils, plates, and cups at breakfast were disposable as well.

One thing i did not like was having to use paper plates, plastic knife, folk, spoon, and paper cups.

Do not expect to use the kitchen since it is empty (no cups, no plates, nothing.

Would not stay again because breakfast food tasteless and paper plates even if free.

On-site parking was convenient and the rooms were clean.

The rooms are very clean, complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails and snacks they serve were yummy.

Over all the place is clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean, well-maintained, I'll gladly come back.

Pool was great and staff was constantly replacing towels with clean ones.

Our room was clean and what we had expected.

A very nice, clean hotel stay for our family.

You can expect a clean room with ample room to relax in your room.

The place is clean & conveniently located near the freeway.

Down fall they charge additional $26 for parking per night which they deduct from $200 deposit Fee.

Not enough outlets, nothing by night stands to charge your devices.

When I called the hotel to dispute the charge, the manager was so rude.

and soon after we checked out on feb 20, we got over charge 50 dollars.

The only recommendation is usb outlets or plugs to charge phones with cables only.

My only issues were the high charge for parking and WiFi.

They also notify you at checkin that they are going to charge 21 dollars a day to park at their place or you can park across the street, as they told us.

Also parked a rental car for 3 days and had charge come through in middle of the night that looks like they charged many more days

There is no phone charging outlet near the bed.

Oh and the Hilton next door charged my card to another guests room.

Finally, they overcharged me for parking (which had been included in my AAA rate) and it was multiple phone calls to clear it up.

Key card did not work well in the parking garage.

but you had you do not disturb up” card was slipped under the door of my replacement room sometime between 8PM and 7:30AM when I left the room.

The parking charge could have been less-wasn't like it was valet, and valet isn't an option.

The worst part, there is very limited technology in the rooms, they don't even have charging stations (hint: bring your own, otherwise you'll be unplugging lamps to charge your devices).

They should be ashamed for charging $21/day for parking.

We also did wish that there were outlets next to the bed to plug in phones to charge at night.

There are virtually no outlets in the room and none near the bed, you'll have to charge your electronics on the floor, on the table on the other side of the room or on the desk out in the sitting area.

I don't like having a separate charge for parking.

NO OUTLETS anywhere near the bed to charge devices.

The free morning breakfast is the best we’ve had from hotels that offer free breakfasts.

The made to order complimentary breakfast each morning was a big saving in our trip, and we really enjoyed it.

Complementary breakfast was well stocked with very short lines for service.

Hotel's location is good  Rooms are ok size and very very dated.

Prefect location, Edgar bellman super cool a hard working gentleman,  Jennifer with welcome smile , digital key was prefect for this huge hotel .

The hotel is in a really good location, and not to far form plenty of tourist attractions.

In general, I like the location, which is just off the 134 and easy to find.
