When we visit our daughters in West Hollywood, we always stay here because the hotel is upscale and clean and it doesn't break the bank.

Our stay was pleasant, the room was clean and the furniture was comfortable.

Fantastic hotel, comfortable and clean, within easy reach of all the major sightseeing locations, especially as sightseeing tours available from hotel and with stops close by also.

The property was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and assisted with any questions we had.

but for the price it just felt right, additionally we felt comfortable in the hotel - everything felt, clean, organised and relaxed.

The rooms are spacious, clean & the beds are super comfortable.

We enjoyed our room of its size, cleanliness, and decor.

Our room was lovely, very big with two beds (which were very comfy indeed) a kitchenette and it overlooked the beautiful pool area which was surrounded with gorgeous pink flowers.

I loved opening the window and smelling the beautiful flowers that surrounded our windows!

If you find yourself just wanting to relax for an afternoon in the hotel that is no problem because they have a private swimming pool which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants (it doesn’t  feel like sitting around a hotel pool in the middle of LA).

The flowers that wrap around the pool are just beautiful!

10/10 for location, same for pool area which is full of flowers and peaceful setting.

but one where free breakfast is helpful - It always feels nice to wake up and not have to get up, fully dressed and trudge out looking for a place to eat where you'll probably end up spending $50 - $60

No complaints about the quality either - its pretty good and free!

There is also a free breakfast in the dining room, which is well-attended and generous.

Good location, walking distance to several restaurants, free continental breakfast, beautiful outdoor pool, gym, comfortable room for up to 4 peopke, courteous and helpful staff.

There was a complimentary breakfast which we had most mornings of our stay, sadly for us as vegans there wasn't a huge option

I found there to be plenty of options, and i'd rather have this free breakfast which sets me up for the day.

Breakfast was included.. the food was good, lots of choices, the coffee was great, the breakfast room was beautifully decorated and very inviting and warm.

The balcony was beautiful and we drank wine at night looking at the views, and then enjoyed the included breakfast  there the next morning.

The location of hotel is great and parking is so easy in there garage $29 a night.

The hotel is conveniently located to various tourist attractions which made getting to places of interest easy.

Firstly the place is excellently located and good value for money all things considered in LA.

It is in a convenient location on Sunset Boulevard, we used the underground car park for the duration of our stay ($29 a night) and then used Ubers to get everywhere.

although the Hollywood area as a whole can be slightly sketchy, this location was secure and private.

You are in the perfect location with public transport right outside your door if needed! Staff are always ready to assist, breakfast is great (and free!)

The check in staff very super helpful and the location was great, on the outskirts of the town near the Comedy Store.

I would definitely stay at this location again.

The pool was warm temperature, and it felt like I was in Italy enjoying the Cherry blossoms and other beautiful plants in the garden near pool area.

There is a good-sized pool on the backside of the hotel which makes it feel like you're not right in the middle of Sunset Blvd - great for a relaxing afternoon.

This was a lovely hotel and a welcome retreat at the end of a 3 week road trip, a small Italian style hotel, our room over-looked the courtyard with  a good sized pool.

The pool area is perfect with beautiful shaded seating areas.

Pool area was tropical looking with plenty of room to sit around the area.

Place was great- They could clean the pool area a little more or tell people to clean up after them selves.

One of their rooms had doors that open up to the pool area.

I would highlight recommended this hotel, I was very impressed with the room we got.

Our room was large big bathroom walk in shower, fridge, coffee maker.

The room was good and girl looking after it was very helpful when asking her things.

So we were quiet surprised when we got our rooms and they showed up to have no view in fact no day light.

You do have to request for the maid to clean the room every day - not an issue

Great facilities in the room; microwave, fridge, proper sink etc.

There is a great size fridge in the room, so we were able to pick up what we needed at Trader Joes.

My family came with me and we were in rooms next to each other.

We loved the DIY breakfast where selection and service were great - breakfast room is a little small so you sometimes had to wait for a table at peak times

There are 2 breakfast rooms and the staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

Cons: the place smells so strongly of some kind of chemical.

Carpets old and smelly, breakfast was limited and paper plates plastic knifes and forks.

Unfortunately the area was smelling of weed as some guests used the back area to smoke in.

however the new room smelt a little fusty, hotel reception sofa and rug is dirty, staff require more customer service training.

On the flip side, customer service was rather cold, and in spite of upgrades, this is an old building with a funky smell from the lobby to the rooms.

There is a horrible old carpet smell throughout building - distinct wet/old smell - in the room and halls - it badly needs replacing.

The tiles in the swimming pool were filthy you could wipe the dirt of with your hands, see attached photo.

Had a bug in my bed, pullout bed had a downward incline where your head was lower than your legs, breakfast lacked a variety of foods and lobby had a musty horrible smell.

Only things we had issues with were the HVAC system which seemed a bit dated, and a musty smell in the hotel room and throughout the halls.

The air conditioning/heating wall unit was absolutely filthy.

butt to prop items to hold your cord.into the plug.

The cigarette smoke would permeate the halls.

-The BREAKFAST is yet another bait and switch - they offer disgusting moldy 25 cent pre packed muffins with NO COFFEE and call it breakfast.

butt germs all over the place and no one said a word.

One on of the tables by the couch, there was some gross residue that wasn't wiped down by housekeeping--though it was not visible until we saw it on the wiping cloth.

although it was dark and felt smaller than room 212, it smelt fine so we accepted it.

but only disappointment was that despite the hotel being non smoking, someone before us had flouted the rules!

The pool area is lovely , sadly some people ignore the no smoking policy,

So it is a rather dirty and smelly area(urine etc.

Fresh prepared breakfast and helpful staff.

Breakfast among the worst in my entire life, just packed food on board plates.

we constantly had to ask for more plates cutlery and food they couldn't keep up with the demand.

The use of single use/disposable paper plates and cutlery seems wasteful.

No restaurant or bar, breakfast is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery in a cramped room that struggles to cope with the amount of guests staying, we had to clear our table when we had finshed and put the used plates, cutlery and waste food in an overflowing bin, see photo.

but you could take your tray up to 4th floor breakfast room where there was more seating up there ,the main breakfast room was floor 3 street level, we didn’t need to go to floor 4 as we always got a table.

Paying $300 a night should entitle us to more than disposable cutlery and plates.

but is served with paper plates and plastic cutlery.

however even my children commented on the use of plastic plates and cutlery as environmentally unfriendly!

but what is with the paper plates and plastic knives and forks.

The most unusual thing was the use of paper plates and plastic utensils for breakfast.

The only thing that could be improved would be the use of paper plates and cups for breakfast.

but they had paper plates and plastic cutlery which I found a bit strange but all in all was a good enjoyable stay

Very basic breakfast and disposable plates and cutlery.

however the food is very average and served on paper plates.

By this I mean - cups provided in room were of the disposable variety, and individually wrapped in plastic bags; all of the eating utensils, plates, and cups at breakfast were disposable as well.

One thing i did not like was having to use paper plates, plastic knife, folk, spoon, and paper cups.

Do not expect to use the kitchen since it is empty (no cups, no plates, nothing.

Would not stay again because breakfast food tasteless and paper plates even if free.

The coffee/hot beverage machine in the lobby (available 24 hours/day) and the assortment of delicious pastries from Porto’s bakery every morning are a happy plus.

This place is wonderful - friendly staff, very cute & retro appearance, clean, comfortable mattress, plenty of space with a nice layout, great location with several walkable restaurants and nearby thrift/vintage shops, and fantastic breakfast pastries from Poetics, a local bakery.
