Parking garage was also very easy to get in and out of with large parking spaces.

The parking garages were easy enough to get to if you read prior reviews, or get instructions from the front desk, and a steal for the area at $24.

And personally, it hit my must-haves for a good hotel stay: a comfy bed with full-stuffed pillows, A/C that actually goes down to a comfortable sleeping temperature, a nice bathroom, and easy accessible self-parking.

When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the hotel staff who helped me with all my questions and made the check in process so easy.

There were underground parking garages that are behind the hotel and easy to access with an elevator.

but the Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel has made it easy with complimentary parking in their basement.

Easy access clean good maintenance of the furniture.

It was easy to forget you were in the middle of Hollywood.

The pool was heated and surrounded by flowers, lovely patios and terraces reminiscent of an Italian Villa.

The front desk was very welcoming and helpful and there is a gorgeous view of beautiful flowers and plants by the pool.

Our room was lovely, very big with two beds (which were very comfy indeed) a kitchenette and it overlooked the beautiful pool area which was surrounded with gorgeous pink flowers.

If you find yourself just wanting to relax for an afternoon in the hotel that is no problem because they have a private swimming pool which is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants (it doesn’t  feel like sitting around a hotel pool in the middle of LA).

Cons: the place smells so strongly of some kind of chemical.

Carpets old and smelly, breakfast was limited and paper plates plastic knifes and forks.

Unfortunately the area was smelling of weed as some guests used the back area to smoke in.

however the new room smelt a little fusty, hotel reception sofa and rug is dirty, staff require more customer service training.

On the flip side, customer service was rather cold, and in spite of upgrades, this is an old building with a funky smell from the lobby to the rooms.

There is a horrible old carpet smell throughout building - distinct wet/old smell - in the room and halls - it badly needs replacing.

The tiles in the swimming pool were filthy you could wipe the dirt of with your hands, see attached photo.

Had a bug in my bed, pullout bed had a downward incline where your head was lower than your legs, breakfast lacked a variety of foods and lobby had a musty horrible smell.

Only things we had issues with were the HVAC system which seemed a bit dated, and a musty smell in the hotel room and throughout the halls.

The air conditioning/heating wall unit was absolutely filthy.

The cigarette smoke would permeate the halls.

-The BREAKFAST is yet another bait and switch - they offer disgusting moldy 25 cent pre packed muffins with NO COFFEE and call it breakfast.

butt germs all over the place and no one said a word.

One on of the tables by the couch, there was some gross residue that wasn't wiped down by housekeeping--though it was not visible until we saw it on the wiping cloth.

although it was dark and felt smaller than room 212, it smelt fine so we accepted it.

but only disappointment was that despite the hotel being non smoking, someone before us had flouted the rules!

The pool area is lovely , sadly some people ignore the no smoking policy,

So it is a rather dirty and smelly area(urine etc.

Breakfast among the worst in my entire life, just packed food on board plates.

we constantly had to ask for more plates cutlery and food they couldn't keep up with the demand.

The use of single use/disposable paper plates and cutlery seems wasteful.

No restaurant or bar, breakfast is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery in a cramped room that struggles to cope with the amount of guests staying, we had to clear our table when we had finshed and put the used plates, cutlery and waste food in an overflowing bin, see photo.

but you could take your tray up to 4th floor breakfast room where there was more seating up there ,the main breakfast room was floor 3 street level, we didn’t need to go to floor 4 as we always got a table.

Paying $300 a night should entitle us to more than disposable cutlery and plates.

but is served with paper plates and plastic cutlery.

however even my children commented on the use of plastic plates and cutlery as environmentally unfriendly!

but what is with the paper plates and plastic knives and forks.

The most unusual thing was the use of paper plates and plastic utensils for breakfast.

The only thing that could be improved would be the use of paper plates and cups for breakfast.

but they had paper plates and plastic cutlery which I found a bit strange but all in all was a good enjoyable stay

Very basic breakfast and disposable plates and cutlery.

however the food is very average and served on paper plates.

By this I mean - cups provided in room were of the disposable variety, and individually wrapped in plastic bags; all of the eating utensils, plates, and cups at breakfast were disposable as well.

One thing i did not like was having to use paper plates, plastic knife, folk, spoon, and paper cups.

Do not expect to use the kitchen since it is empty (no cups, no plates, nothing.

Would not stay again because breakfast food tasteless and paper plates even if free.

Elevator smelled horrible.they charge 100 deposit each night you stay.

but maybe a partial credit, or a credit for a future stay.

Down fall they charge additional $26 for parking per night which they deduct from $200 deposit Fee.

Not enough outlets, nothing by night stands to charge your devices.

A week after I checked out, the hotel charged me $750 for a broken tv.

and soon after we checked out on feb 20, we got over charge 50 dollars.

The only recommendation is usb outlets or plugs to charge phones with cables only.

The rooms definitely need a refresh, not up to modern standards in terms of lighting or other amenities like charging stations etc.

My only issues were the high charge for parking and WiFi.

but always bothers me that a hotel you are staying at charges you to park there.

They also notify you at checkin that they are going to charge 21 dollars a day to park at their place or you can park across the street, as they told us.

Also parked a rental car for 3 days and had charge come through in middle of the night that looks like they charged many more days

There is no phone charging outlet near the bed.

Oh and the Hilton next door charged my card to another guests room.

but need a refresh and some more amenities like charging outlets, improved layouts, new furniture and decor.

), and the usual gouging for $21 parking, and the $3.50 charge if you open the 12oz bottle of Evian on the wet bar--though they do warn about that charge.

Finally, they overcharged me for parking (which had been included in my AAA rate) and it was multiple phone calls to clear it up.

Key card did not work well in the parking garage.

I enjoyed this hotel very much and I will be back it’s absolutely amazing everything about it is worth every penny and It was so easy to park and leave in and out and the food was great!!

In general, I like the location, which is just off the 134 and easy to find.

Easy access to Studios, Hollywood, and Griffith Park.

Parking is easy and reasonable for the area.

Convenient to the 134 freeway - to Burbank airport and easy routes to other LA area.

Easy access to downtown and anywhere else without being in a hugely congested area.

Good restaurants within easy walking distance.

The freeway was right by the hotel and made it easy to go anywhere.

Getting an Uber was easy and the covered area outside was nice w/ the rain.

Hotel is in an awesome location and easy to access.

This Embassy Suites hotel was in a great location with easy access to freeways.

Overall, the location is good with easy access to the freeway and local shops and malls.

The complex has its own traffic light out onto Central Av - very easy to get in and out.

The free morning breakfast is the best we’ve had from hotels that offer free breakfasts.

The made to order complimentary breakfast each morning was a big saving in our trip, and we really enjoyed it.

We took the park and stay rate which saved us a few bucks a day over the basic AAA rate
  The best part of this hotel is its free breakfasts, which you won't find at other chain motels.

There is the standard breakfast buffet (yawn) those this is supplemented with a cooked to order omelet station which is a plus.Either I did not do the exhaustive examination that some of these reviewers did or some renovation has been done since.

An omelet bar, an area with just the eggs, meat potatoes and usually pre made pancakes or half waffles.

The complimentary hot breakfast is fantastic, as it features made to order omelets, pastries, fruits, and hot/cold beverages.

Everything about this Embassy was terrific the staff, the suite, and the breakfast was outstanding definitely recommend the omelet.

The free breakfast included made to order eggs and omelets, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, continental pastries and muffins, croissants, toast, bagels, hot and cold cereal and juice and coffee.

Breakfast was included and similar to other Embassy Suites with omelet station and great selection of food.

Breakfast was great with made to order omelets and good variety of food and drink.

It has a sewer problem told the manager and he was not concerned.
