Spacious, clean, and well equipped rooms.

The rooms are well appointed, room service is excellent, the facility is well-maintained and very clean,

The Culina showcases an Italian menu and the facility is outfitted with indoor and outdoor capability.

Hot tub was a plus and very open air gym was great.

There is an adjacent open-air gym that I did use

The staff are brilliant and attentive, the facilities are well maintained, and the restaurants are always 5*.

Enjoyed my weekend stay, loved my room, gym facilities was great, Culina restaurant was delicious, hospitality staff was professional and attentive,  location was perfect for all my arts and museums needs, definitely coming back

but the fitness center and spa were certainly gold standard when I checked them out.

The amenities include everything a hotel guest could ever want - an indoor/outdoor gym (felt way safer working out here), a beautiful pool and jacuzzi, fantastic dining options and house car service.

but they got me set up with a temporary key that allowed me to access gym, pool and restaurant.

* Fitness center: Airy and outdoors, next to the pool.

Mamadou, Zach and Hannah at the front desk always made us feel welcome, helped with a couple tricky issues and made sure we were able to use the fitness suite when we needed.

The tropical/citrus grove adorned atop the rooftop pool with adjacent outdoor gym is too unique for a city environment.

Great wellness room with excersise equipment  and all green oriented no plastic bottles no wasted materials.

Rooms, facilities and restaurant were everything you come to expect from Four Seasons.

The gym is semi open air and it is well equipped,

Professional staff and clean room with comfy bed and great fitness center!

Nice reception areas to watch the  world go by and “feel the atmosphere”  

Excellent facilities and if we return to LA there is only one place to stay

If i could give this hotel 6 stars i certainly would, every member of staff we met whether it was the gym (which has the best most advanced equipment) was friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

but of course there are many lovely hotels in the Los Angeles area, what stands out at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles Beverly Hills to me is the staff.

I have been a returning guest for over thirty years- this jewel box of a boutique hotel is way the best place to stay in Los Angeles!

What more can be said than, if you choose not to stay here, you're missing everything that is Los Angeles at its best. Amazing.

This is one of the top rate hotels in the Los Angeles area.

You can't stay at a better hotel than the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

For the cost of a stay at this location, these issues were completely unacceptable.

but food is not good and totally overpriced.

For one, the room service food is quite disappointing - I found the breakfast and late night meals very mediocre, especially for the price charged.

Yes, it’s all expensive (especially when dealing with a sterling: dollar exchange rate)

The pool menu has a silly “admin tax” which they explain as essentially a cost of doing business.

On our arrival at 10 PM @ LAX, rather than fight thousands of travelers trying to catch an overdue shuttle bus to an understaffed remote rental car location, the hotel provided a waiting car and driver for no more than the cost of a one-day rental car that I would have had to pay $50 for overnight parking.

but comparable hotels are priced the same.

Please do not think this is a paid review because its glowing - I’m a pretty tough customer so know this review is well deserved.

Now, it is quite expensive and is luxury hotel.

Very disappointing service at a very expensive hotel.

And also there was only a bathtub - no separate tub and shower which I consider to be a given in such an expensive hotel.

however not up to scratch especially for the outrageous pricing.

I expect more from Four Seasons and the price for the room.

My only criticism would be the price of parking, which I feel is very high with a price of USD 46 a day (ex tax).

but given we had chosen to pay more specifically for this feature I would have expected some other approach --- and wondered why we were even able to "book" the room if it wasn't available in the first place. Location.

but my one criticism would be that the master bathroom was small for this level of suite and price tag.

From the scent of the Lillies that filled the entrance, to the smile of Momodou Krubally at reception, to Jordan & Jessie at the bar, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we found it to be a beautifully refined and elegant experience.

The pristine gardens and incredible fresh flower displays throughout the hotel inspire peace and tranquility and are a reminder to stop and smell the flowers!

This hotel is as close to perfect as you can get, from the moment you walk in and smell the lillies, to the time you leave.

The hotel grounds are impeccable maintained, white glove clean, filled with fresh smelling flowers.

Love the smell and its warmth when it's winter.

the decor, the flowers, the bathrooms in the room, the lobby, the furniture in the lobby, the moldings, the wait for the valet, etc.

The smell of flowers as you walk through the door wakes up the senses and brings a smile to my face.

I didn’t care for the toiletries they provided, the scent was god awful.

but everything you need steam, sauna etc and smelled amazing.

In Culina (the Italian restaurant) I had a truffle pizza with duck egg, the pizza was very dry and a bit burned.

From the moment you walk in the doors you are engulfed in the tranquil smell of tiger Lillie's, Beautiful bouquets everywhere.

You can take a walk and notice all the beautiful architecture and shops nearby or you can stay in your room and get a massage or just relax.

And no extra fees for just hanging out in the spa and relaxing

Everything about this hotel is excellent and over the top.The food is great .I recommend the swimming pool and steam room "the best".

The pool staff, spa technicians and concierge team are always on their game and always consistent.

They have a great, relaxing pool on the fourth floor, along with a nice spa and gym.

Love the gym, spa and poolside area, comfortable rooms, great food selection with excellent vegan choices, welcoming, professional and efficient staff.

The rooms are great, the food is excellent, the pool/spa provides a perfect get-away, and notably, the entire staff is caring, helpful.

The pool was great too, we got a cabana package one day which we got massages, which were VERY relaxing, and then the cabana to just relax at and had great service.

Followed that with a wfantastic spa treatment, and again staff in the spa were all top-notch (there's a theme here!).

The amenities (pool, spa) are great, and they're dog friendly and really cater to the four legged guests.

We have stayed at the Beverly Wilshire which was also very nice

*I just want to add one more line comparing the 4seasons LA and the Beverly Wilshire.

Of course Uber is always an option to Wilshire which is a short distance or the hotel offers transportation (if available) to guests within 1 mile of the hotel.

Location helps avoid some of the congestion for Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Mid Wilshire attractions & restaurants.

but star gazing and eating Poke salads 

I've been fortunate enough to stay at the Beverly Wilshire, the Peninsula Beverly Hills and theBeverly Hills hotel, and the four seasons is the best of the four in my mind, pound for pound 

Make no mistake, it is super pricey, yet the fact is people will pay for the best, when it is the best..

If you want a busier place in Beverly Hills on Rodeo drive ("Pretty woman" location and close to new downtown "Nakatomi tower"), their another hotel Wilshire by Four Seasons is probably the option.

It is much more reasonably priced than its sister hotel (Beverly Wilshire).

We've stayed at the Beverly Wilshire in the past, and while you have a longer walk to Rodeo Drive from this property (~15-20 minutes) you're very close to 3rd Street with a TON of great dining options.

Beverly Wilshire is a great place to stay when visiting Los Angeles.

Love the Middle eastern menu and excellent service in the main dining room and outside tables on Wilshire Blvd.

I  stayed for almost 2 weeks and loved the location -  it is quiet and more private than the one at Beverly Wilshire.

At these prices, I'd recommend other hotels in the area, such as the Montage or Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire.

At our last stay in Beverly Hills we were at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire so thought we would try this one this time.

I have pretty high expectations at a Four Seasons and generally this property met them, at a price several hundred dollars a night lower than the Wilshire or Chateau Marmont.

I liked that the hotel was not in the thick of things (compare to FS Beverly Wilshire and the Montage).

I guess I've been spoiled by the Wilshire Beverly Hills !

Love the location of this property, being conveniently located in between Santa Monica and Wilshire.

Less flashy than the Beverly Wilshire and tucked away on Doheny it provided just the right blend of luxury, comfort, relaxed style and outstanding service.

I personally liked this hotel more than the Beverly Wilshire it is smaller and cozier which made the excellent staff even more attentive to our wants.

If you want to be in the thick of the scene, try Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire.

I visit several times a year to see family, and usually stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

I far prefer this idyll to the hotels that are right in the thick of things in Beverly Hills.

It's definitely prettier that The Beverly Hills Hotel

You can take the house car within a 3 mile radius and they have a car that will take you to their sister hotel The Beverly Hills Hotel where you can use their pool and you also have charging privileges.

We've dined at the Beverly Hills Hotel (another DC property) and had an amazing time - so figured let's give Bel Air a try.

Near Beverly Hill with lots of shops and walking area.

Hotel Bel-Air is removed from the hubbub of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles (a benefit or drawback depending on what you're looking for) in a beautiful and secluded canyon set among lush, mature gardens.

The hotel is located in Beverly Hills and by itself is a landmark place.

even though the location isnt a walking distance to Beverly Hills it takes just a short drive to get there.

Bel Air was a convenient location for our home base and it was easy to visit Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.

I came to the Hotel Bel Air after staying at the equally as famous The Beverly Hills Hotel.

I’ve stayed at the Dorchester properties here, Beverly Hills,  Geneva, Paris London and Rome.

although The Beverly Hills Hotel is marvellous and well located, it's old school Hollywood glamour, it's like the Claridges of LA, a true classic.

Loved just walking the grounds which were California jungle chic.

Drinks in the piano bar were fantastic and the grounds throughout are beautiful and extremely well kept.

The grounds of the hotel were superb, retaining the historical nature of the hotel.

The grounds are amazing, pure LA, and the rooms open directly to the outdoors.

The grounds of the hotel are fabulous and maintained impeccably.

We stayed in a large modern room located within the beautifully maintained grounds.

The grounds are impeccable, lush, walkable and the whole property itself seems like the destination more so than just a nice and luxurious home base while in the area.

We appreciated everything about this hotel- comfortable rooms, beautiful bedding, nice amenities, gorgeous grounds, great food, attentive service, interesting history, quality clientele and such privacy.

The grounds are beautiful and the community surrounding the hotel is fun to drive around.

Every person from the front desk to the valets to the maids, to the grounds keepers is a professional and they treat their guests with the utmost care.

Just staying on the grounds is like a vacation.

To the grounds of the hotel where we were able to take beautiful photos with our phones.

The grounds are gorgeous—I just wandered a lot, especially enjoying watching the swans glide around in the pond.

The property grounds were beautiful and walking the grounds after spending a busy day in the city was very relaxing.

Grounds are amazing and rooms are in excellent condition (having been relatively recently renovated).

I think I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Los Angeles

There is nothing like The Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles and this has to be your only choice as you will never stay anywhere else after. .

IMO Hotel Bel Air is far and away the best place to stay in Los Angeles, bar none.

I recently stayed at The Belair Hotel in Los Angeles and had a wonderful stay.

The setting is absolutely beautiful, he hotel is comprised of small areas and hidden rooms all tucked away into the beautiful green scenery - you feel like you are on an dessert island the middle of Los Angeles.

I love to walk in the alley surrounded by that beautiful, vigorous and lush vegetation, scents of nature, sound of silence, this is the closest place to paradise on earth.

Morning walk around bungalows with lush garden was so refreshing.

The serpentine road up to the entrance is surrounded by such a variety of lush trees and unique fauna, you want to drive slowly to take it in.

Lush and green grounds, peaceful gardens, and huge swans grace this incredible resort.

Breakfast was hit and miss and expensive for what was provided.

We were VIP/high paying guests and should of been treated that way, this hotel should treat all their guests that way due to the prices,

Now, this hotel is very expensive, so we don't go there a lot,

Not every day you pay these rates and feel you got value for your money.

Breakfast was a la carte, quite expensive.

And it’s valet only which is expensive.

All parking at Hotel Bel-Air is valet, which was quite expensive.

I paid a lot of money to sleep with loud crickets .

I wouldn't have minded, except the price didn't include much value.

that can be found in other hotels of this price range.

Better yet why would I pay for $600 a night on a week night for a handicap room?

Also they said that we could stay there for the week if we preferred it for the same price as our slightly less expensive Canyon suite.

Prices correspond so know what you're getting into,

My first time ever in LA, on holiday with two girlfriends, we chose the hotel Bel-Air really because of reputation, and it was quite expensive so of course we really had it built up in our minds.

Examples are a $22 (plus tax & gratuity) plate of fruit or a $10+ bowl of Granola not to speak of the $7 tin of Coke in the room's mini bar.

He arrived disheveled, late, and smelling of tequila.

The lobby offers one scent from glowing candles, and then as I’m taken to my room, each passageway provides another delicate aroma from the abundant flowers.

I got a cigar and they have an outside smoking area with a nice fireplace with chairs.

The grounds were full of flowers and blooming plants, which resulted in the most amazing smells filling the air both inside and out.

Common areas were lush, lots of lush greenery, completely superb, with a sublime touch of fragrance as you entered the room.

They have a pond with an elegant swan swimming round, the smell from the yasmin plants that are all around is divine.

the scent of flowers and a gentle hum of roaring fireplaces, water features, room service waiters.

The service was warm and unobtrusive, the rooms are contemporary and spacious, the grounds are laid out for maximum privacy and the smell of the jasmine plants make it all feel quite tropical.

Everything is perfect and fantastic, the smell of flowers and the rare beauty of all the property

Our room was lovely
and cozy with the fireplace (never knew there was such a thing as a gas
fireplace that burned real wood).

Across the historic bridge, past the swans, I was in a Garden of Eden; and it smelled amazing. Check-in was a breeze; thanks to Nicole, "we've been expecting you!"

We arrived early and waited for our room in a sun-lit courtyard, which may be the only smoking area, while our room was prepared.

The Spa has a manicurist from El Salvador who gave me the best manicure in the history of my having had most of the rotten ones.

The gardens with sweet smelling flowers surround you.

The lovely scent of Jasmin, and other flowers I couldn't name.

We arrived in the evening and were immediately surrounded by the wonderful fragrances of the garden.

The smell was so strong that I had to dry clean all the clothes in my suitcase once I got home.

The grounds are beautiful with meandering paths through the wooded glades and a wonderful mix of colours and scents, with the occasional swan gliding across of the small lake.
