We also enjoyed walking through there; the hotel is within walking distance from the beautiful City Hall as well as lots of dining and shopping options.

The wedding was held nearby at city hall so we walked over there with Suki in tow.

The hotel is on a big block with an interior courtyard that is adjacent to the impressive city hall dome.

Room #839 this time, with a nice view of the Pasadena City Hall.

After around 8pm, City Hall lights up and offers a great view.

@ An Asian Museum and City Hall are close.We were in for the CrueleFest concert at the Rose-bowl.

The best part about this hotel is its location, which is across the street from city hall and walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

The property is very convenient to the scenic City Hall area and there's a service station (AM/PM) nearby .

The City Hall at night is also a great attraction.

Hotel is close walking to old downtown, and cutting through city hall makes quick work of it, too.

I booked as a Marriott Bonvoy and was given a room away from the elevators facing the back of the hotel and Pasadena City Hall (I believe).

Well maintained and good service, nice in house restaurant and adjoining the entire City Hall complex with restaurants and bar.

The pool and hot tub provide incredible views of the city hall and downtown area.

There are a lot of historical buildings in the area such as the city hall building and a couple of churches all of which are very close by.

The hotel is clean, updated, and the pool overlooks Pasadena City Hall.

The hotel had a beautiful outdoor eating area and gardens, and we were right next to the beautiful Pasadena City Hall.

We had a nice view of mission like city hall.

They triple charged me for one valet service.

We were charged twice for the same night.

If you like dirty rooms, unexpected construction, and being charged an extra $300 above what’s on your receipt - this is the hotel for you.

It's a ChargePoint charger so it's slow and about $1 per hour to charge.

I had to call three times to get the charges to my family reversed, because they claimed it was taken care of when it wasn't.

Also was emphatic that NO ONE would let me in without an actual plastic card.

A couple of days after checking into the rooms, I noticed there was a charge on my credit card for $247.

Would never stay here again and working on disputing the charges to get funds back.

Upon checking out, there was no $2 balance.

I was not made aware of this charge nor was I give.

although more incidental charges than in years past.

I really do not believe a Westin/Marriot property would allow this and still charge.

I returned at 10pm to find a card on my door stating engineering visited and solved the A/C issue.

Appalled, I went over and asked why they were charging for water.

I was told the only thing they could do was give us 1/2 off the valet charge.

I pointed out that this had happened the day after Christmas, when my laptop was in my room, my son’s new iPad, cash, gift cards, etc.

They could have waived one night of valet parking charges or made some other overture,

I was overcharged at least $20 a night, no apology, no communication, they charged $40 over the quoted rate.

Long story short, after speaking with BONVOY, only the GM could honor the money paid as a credit to the same priced uncanceled room.

Best location in Pasadena and the staff is amazing.

The staff (especially Tara) was extremely accommodating, the room was comfortable and immaculate, the location was amazing as there was so much to walk to, and the grounds were gorgeous especially with the Christmas decorations that were just being placed.

The location is great, conveniently located.

Overall for a business-type hotel, with an excellent location and easy access to restaurants within 2 blocks, I would recommend it.

The hotel is connected to the Plaza in downtown Pasadena so it is located in the walking distance to all of Pas.

The Pasadena Westin is conveniently located to old town Pasadena and close enough to the Huntington library and Norton Simon museum.

Great location easy walk to Old Town Pasadena.

We loved the location next to the civic center and an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants.

We were told that they will call us when the room is ready.

Ant the worst was that a left and expensive blouse in my room and made five phone calls to staff, housekeeping and the hotel manager.

Front desk had no discretion to correct the error while we were still at the property and referred us to accounting, and after multiple unreturned calls over a 7 day period, I had to rely on the Bonvoy Ambassador desk for help.

Were told to call tech support for wifi access and that they knew about the safe

The phones were ringing and the guests not sleeping, 
while our next door neighbors continued their shrieking.

- Business center is in the “Living Room” area of the lobby, where the music is too loud to have a work call.

We were told we would receive a call back with that information— ANOTHER LIE!!!!

I spent hours on the phone and via email to move my reservation by 1 day only for 1 of the rooms out of 2.

We call the front desk, and Chris answered and I'm like hey I think I talked to you last night about the shower and we just tried to shower again and it's still messed up!

My only gripe is housekeeping hours, in that I left my iphone charger in the room and when I realized I had done so at 5 PM on the afternoon of check out, that department handling lost & found had already closed for the night.

At each pool visit, I had to call the hotel from my cell to request pool towels and then hover until they arrived so they other pool goers would not grab them all.

I explained what Bobby had said to us on the phone, and apparently he told the manager that he never told us the jacuzzi was open.

After that time calling, I was always redirected to voicemail.

I called their manager and left a message and he never even gave me the courtesy of calling me back.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous holiday decorations, excellent on-site restaurant and a super helpful staff!

2)Not a lot of breakfast amenities; you can eat at the restaurant,

My stay started well and with all the good Pasadena food options a short walk away, the evenings have ended well too.

The restaurant staff could not have been better.

We love the location it is walking distances from all the restaurants we like.

On the plus side, the restaurant staff are great.

A friend of mine was staying here and I met her for dinner and drinks after work.

The restaurant and Norman were outstanding.

We had previously left our dog for 3 hours at a time when we went out for a meal or tour and she was fine.

The front desk agent suggested I work in the restaurant where the music is lower, or advised me to take any work-related calls outside.

I informed Natalie that this was of no help to me, as I had nowhere to get ready for my own rehearsal dinner.

Highlight again was Norman in the restaurant.

The only shining start is the hotel restaurant which had wonderful service and food/ drinks, especially Norman and Cesar.

There are also many restaurants on Colorado that's within minutes of walking distance.

There was breakfast available, and the fruit salad which came with the continental breakfast was very good.

Tae LaVit was truly an asset to the front desk staff.

Andrea was efficient yet friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff had zero abilities to make customers happy and were totally mismanaged.

First, I must say that the front-desk staff was friendly and professional (and the room was clean, and acceptable)

Such a great personality and gave great service.

We were checked in and out by the friendly and helpful staff.

When I asked questions/ for help the staff was so unbothered.

We have Ambassador status and we were upgraded to The Palm Suite, good enough to have a name on a placard outside the suite door.

Everything spotlessly clean, every single person who worked there was pleasant and kind and nothing was too much trouble.

Everything walkable - great restaurants and Starbucks for we addicts….love this hotel, will be back - $22 valet parking is best deal in town!

Hotel is within easy walking distance from the Old Town.

I was in town for a track race last month and everything was wonderful.

Good thing is walking distance to many restaurants and the pretty old town.

Nice standard Westin property in Pasadena, very reasonably priced (lower costs than Courtyard and Residence Inns) and within walking distance to downtown, old town and city hall.

Was in town on business and brought my wife with me to see the sights.

The location is ideal if Old Town Pasadena appeals to you.

large pleasant rooms in central Pasedena top location pleasant walkable town centre close by and for  LA with Metro close or the hotels Bus and a Limo service  avaialble will defiantly stay again.

It's within walking distance of Old Town and all sorts of restaurants and bars.

This hotel sits right in the middle and yet is still close enough to walk to dining spots in Old Town Pasadena.

I found the Westin in Old Town Pasadena and I am so pleased!

Close enough to Old Town Pasadena, 15-20 mins walk.

It's nicely located within walking distance of most everything in downtown (Old Town) Pasadena.

The parking valet took my car keys and I asked for change for a $10 to give he and the other valet a tip and he kept the entire thing for them both.

Used valet parking every day and they were all courteous and fairly efficient.

The valet parking staff at the hotel was great.

Nice pool area, room was clean, fresh, valet parking perfect and staff spot on and friendly.

Our experience with individual staffers was top-notch - check-in, valet parking, gift shop, bartenders & servers all warm, friendly, professional and efficient.

The valet parking and concierge were most cordial, the saving grace of our 3 night stay.

the hotel and unless you plan to keep your car in the garage for your entire stay (no in/out privileges) - spend the the extra dollars and go with valet parking.

There were several people that appeared to be parking valet.

Any time I wanted to get my car those guys at valet parking got it for me in less than few min( thanks you ).

Valet parking is an incredibly reasonable $17 a night and the valet guys were great.

The Huntington is a drive away (the valet parking at the hotel is 17 dollars a night and extremely efficient)

The gym was fairly modern, and the outdoor pool had a nice view.

The room we received was a room on the 9th floor with a view of the nearby parking garage.

This room has nice views, comfortable beds and good service.

Our room on the 9th floor gave us views of the San Gabriel Mountains and City Buildings.

I've stayed in rooms throughout the hotel and while some are nicely spacious or offer nice views of city hall or the mountains, others are definitely noisy, darker, and less scenic (especially those near the pool or overlooking the central driveway of the hotel).

Besides the unfortunate circumstance, the room was nice with a view.

Was given a great room, #1247, with a really nice view of the Pasadena City Hall (probably due to Platinum Elite Status).

The herb garden and the courtyard were lovely to walk through.

The family had a fanstastic stay, especially over the years, the facility had added many outdoor recreation games, and refurbishment of the Horseshoe garden.

I enjoyed the hotels various gardens and lounges.

Reception personnel are polite and accomodating, tap room bar cosy, garden beautiful.

Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the garden, Picture Bridge and pool area.

Love walking through the grounds at night, it’s like a mini botanical gardens.

The hotel is very close to a huge park and the Huntington Gardens which are great places to visit.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, great location and easy access to shopping and restaurants,  beautiful garden in nice surrounding area, good service and big rooms.

Since I will be visiting my LA daughter and her family on a regular basis from the East Coast, I am thrilled to have found a hotel where I am always made feel "at home" ( and the beautiful gardens, pool and stunning  landscaping are a plus).

The gardens are so lovely, make sure to explore the Japanese garden.

The gardens are so delightful that they are therapeutic--beautiful paths, birds singing, waterfalls in the background.

The gardens are beautiful, excellent service and the hotel has a European flair.

So thoughtful! It was a nice ride to and from the Huntington Library Gardens (take the northern route along Lombardy & Arden Roads, which has a designated bike path through shaded streets and nice houses.)

The grounds are beautiful and amenities are lovely.

After checking in, we toured the lush grounds (23 acres), had drinks in the gorgeous bar and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel.

Highlights were service, grounds, food, and service again.

We booked through AMEX fine hotels and resorts - the grounds were lovely, pools was nice.

I read in other feedback that the hotel is breaking ground on a 2nd pool.

For what they charge for EVERYTHING, you can get better service somewhere else.

but you cannot blame it given the location, history and price !

You either pay top dollar for a place like Langham, or you don't get this type of service in the US.

The food option are great, don't expect Denny's restaurant prices,

When we complained to the management, they offered us a very inadequate compensation of waiving the daily resort fees of $35.

Unauthorized food charge we never made on 8/14/2023 for $69.33 at the Pool Café that they refuse to remove, no room service, and an over priced drink for $40.00 at the Tap Room.

but only if the rooms were updated and if they raised the prices of the hotel due to the renovation - I'd be fine with that because you do get what you pay for.

It's not inexpensive, and travelers may benefit from knowing ahead of time that there are approximately $150 of daily charges beyond the room rate (parking fee, "amenities" fee, taxes).

The prices was definitely not worth the stay.

So, if you have an expense account paid by someone else - by all means - stay here.

The service was great and the patio restaurant provided an excellent breakfast.

The food was either too salty or too sweet, and it didn’t seem that there was a balance or quality to it neither at dinner nor at breakfast with my family.
