 - We stayed here in February, paid almost £200 for one night and was given a room with a window with a view of a wall and not a very clean room.
 - The walls had marks on them and wallpaper had rips in it, even in the lobby area.
 - Also the walls are thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were saying to each other.
 - - Button feature on the wall that indicates whether you want to have housekeeping or are asleep and to not be disturbed; the house keeping never disturbed us.

 - I couldn't even flag anyone down to request things like pepper or a water refill.
 - But because I’m not confrontational, I’ve asked for a quieter and secluded area, which I received.
 - I phoned prior to our stay to request the Westminster view (the only reason I upgraded to the river view suite) i was told that I had that room, when I turnt up this was not the case which left me very annoyed.

 - While I could "technically" see the Thames, I would not call it a "Thames View", since I had to stand right at the window and crane my neck in order to see an approximately 30 foot stretch of the river.
 - but this was several times we were left frustrated not including when the phone kept ringing out when we would try to get in touch with reception in the morning and evening time and I wanted everything perfect for this trip.
 - I didn't know if the employee had just conned me so I phoned room service and was made to feel stupid by the man on the phone and as if it was my fault for simply reading the prices you put in the menu .
 - Get a “courtesy call” every day asking if there’s anything I need which I clearly don’t.
 - i was also asked to oy for a local uk call and when i ordered a fork to my room i was asked to pay for it!!!!!

 - The views over the Thames and Houses of Parliament were incredible and we really enjoyed having the balcony to get a good view of the city.
 - Lovely views over towards Houses of Parliament
 - We were then checked into our lovely room overlooking the river and Houses of Parliament by the friendly reception team.
 - but looking out towards the Houses of Parliament from our 9th floor room window was very special.
 - The location of the hotel on the river with great views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament meant we were close to all attractions for fun and then relax with a walk along the river.

 - The place looks amazing and we definetely going to come back for another nice experience!
 - What an amazing experience.
 - Though it was resolved it wasted my time and spoilt the end of my stay after the overall good experience.
 - .. We had fed back our problems with the reservation team during check-in, and were repeatedly reassured by Tushar that all efforts would be made to give us a good experience.
 - A really memorable experience and truly unforgettable and unique.

 - I mentioned it was my partners birthday and we had cake in our room upon arrival and also again the following day, which was his actual birthday.

 - We were not sure what to expect because of our previous London hotel experiences have been average or poor with very small expensive rooms.
 - Very noisy from the residence up stairs - poor sound proofing.
 - Sad to witness Taj's spirit abate due to poor management.
 - but the water pressure on the shower was very poor.
 - Shame, wouldn’t recommend due to the room issues, very poor sleep.

 - The room was small, and in desperate need of renovation.

 - This room was no where near as nice.
 - I had to ring reception again to ask them how do I dial out from the room phone, the same receptionist hadn’t a clue and said she didn’t know and use my mobile. Wtf??
 - Rooms not serviced unless you request it (only after three days)
 - but sadly I wouldn’t ever return because the chopping & changing of rooms meant I wasn’t actually able to get ready for our night out & had to just change my clothes!
 - even though we had booked a double (and showed confirmation of this) The room itself was not great and not to forgot, not what we booked.

 - Very noisy with late night guests screaming down the passage having forgotten where their rooms were.
 - but had to go to another hotel because of noise issues seen on lots of reviews online.
 - The room we stayed in was very dated and a bit shabby, the noise from the extractors outside our window sounded like a plane taking off.
 - Only major downsize was the noise out in the street as we overlooked the road at the side of the hotel quite busy at all hours!!
 - The rooms have no sound proofing which meant we did not get to sleep the whole night.
