 - We stayed here in February, paid almost £200 for one night and was given a room with a window with a view of a wall and not a very clean room.
 - The walls had marks on them and wallpaper had rips in it, even in the lobby area.
 - Also the walls are thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were saying to each other.

 - Tokens given for a free drink each is a nice touch.

 - The location was perfect for us - Bakerloo underground from Paddington station.
 - One tip; the Heathrow Express train is a great way to get from the airport to Paddington Sta

 - but the very notable single egg served in each case; I’m not sure whether this was due to the restaurant operating at close to capacity, or because we were dining on the Club rate, but either way this was poor.
 - There was a poor selection of soft drinks, many of which were locked up on the first day and there was a very poor selection of wines in the evening.
 - Some excellent aspects and also some very poor!
 - Very poor service.

 - Then it is just a short, easy, well signposted walk from the underground to the hotel.
 - but windy walk along the Thames to Greenwich.
 - The hotel’s location across the river means it’s inconvenient for Canary Wharf, and the 40-minute walk to Greenwich itself is largely unattractive (adjacent to industrial land for the majority) and too far to be practical for most.
 - North Greenwich tube station is just a short walk away which was handy to take to the West End in the evening, taking around 25mins.
 - Just five minutes walk from North Greenwich station.

 - Check in and check out was busy
 - Breakfast was quite busy and so service wasn't as fast as normal
 - but the incommunicative accompanying hotel staff member was too busy eating the photographed canapés to care what paying guests thought.
 - No omelette station at breakfast was a slight let down - chef was busy keeping buffet topped up.
 - even though it was not busy still took way too long.

 - The 5* hotel I paid £300 for one night for a birthday celebration was very disappointing.

 - Following this we had Marlene with the magic fingers and heart who gave my mum the most relaxing and calming massage she has ever had, she smoothed out her sore back and problematic shoulder which she been suffering from for a while as she’s a chef.
 - We had been to the hotel for a spa day that had been gifted to us so thought we would return for our anniversary weekend which coincided with a show my husband and son were attending at the O2.
