Found a great place for pizza (Ai Tre Archi) over the tri arch bridge and a great little bar for cocktails only a few doors down from that.

We had a small mini bar, lovely bathroom, plenty of hangers and had a great breakfast every day.

Really enjoyed the breakfast too - especially the scrambled eggs and juice.

The staff were welcoming, breakfast kept us going well into the afternoon.

The breakfast was amazing offering a great choice of food served by friendly staff and we were able to sit outside overlooking their beautiful garden.

They got us into a great room, breakfast was fantastic and location was perfect for us.

Location, friendly staff, quality and comfort of the bedroom, decor throughout the hotel, excellent breakfast and tea/coffee, fridge and safe in room were all positives.

Finally it was brilliant to be back in The Mask bar which has been beautifully redecorated and of course Giampaolo is the most wonderful barman, once again giving us excellent wine recommendations accompanied by delicious snacks!

Only possible negatives I could find, the corridors were very dark with dim lights.

There are a lot of dark and gold tones in the interior.

The dark furniture showed the dust unfortunately too.

but very dark .it was difficult to see even with all the lights on.

I was disappointed as soon as we got to the second floor- it was DARK!

Unusual decor in “carnival’ themes led to some strange color choices eg black walls, black ceilings , dark walls in corridors.

The hallway in each floor is very dark not sure why.

Location wise it is in a quieter area of the city- plus point is that you are away from tourist noise, downside is that it is quite dark on walk back at nighttime.

The lighting in the hallways was a bit dark

On arriving on the third floor I️ was surprised that the corridors were so dark.

While the lighting in the corridor was rather dark, it was also arranged in a ingenious pattern.

We found the hallways unusually dark and the bathtubs/showers difficult if not dangerous to maneuver.

Dark marble like with very low lighting - very interesting.

Only 2 small criticisms: the hallways are extremely dark, which could be problematic for someone with low vision.

The bathroom was marble throughout with a wonderfully deep bath and a separate shower..complete with funky mood lighting .

BATHROOM:

Big, marble bathroom with awesome rainshower (has a handheld shower head as well).

It is located on its private floor, has two separate balconies with a private jacuzzi on one, luxurious all marble bathroom complete with a jacuzzi bathtub and really comfortable bed.

Marble bathroom cleaned to the highest standard.

The marble bathroom was clean and the shower had a terrific rain shower head.

The bathroom was made of all marble and it looked so beautiful and luxurious, along with our whole room.

Awesome sunsets, great drinks and the rooms have all been tastefully decorated to give a cool upmarket vibe.

Our room was extremely comfortable and well presented.

The room was gorgeous we had a double 4 poster and a single with plenty of hanging and wardrobe space for 3, a mini fridge and safe.

Facilities and rooms were extremely clean, and we visited during a very hot weekend in august so the well working air conditioning was another big plus!

The staff are super friendly & helpful and will assist with any bookings you need as well as assistance with local travel - they also helped me book a 1 day water bus ticket on the app!

I was lucky enough to have someone take my heavy luggage to my room, as a lady with plenty of luggage was cheerily invited to lug it herself.

A special mention about the front desk staff, they were AMAZING!

The difficulties of organizing a group tour were easily overcome thanks to excellent back-stage support.

A 30 minute easy, pleasant walk will take you to St Marks Square and will enable you to see more of Venice than if you use the water taxi.

but only about a 10 minute walk to tourist areas and about 30 minute walk to St. Marks square and some really good restaurants along that waterway as well as the Crea Valporetto stop.

We enjoy a good holiday walk so has no issues with the location.

though the walk in shower was large, and the water pressure good.

The vaparetto stop is just a few metres away, so getting around - if you don`t fancy walking - is easy.

The bathroom was compact with a walk in shower.

We stayed at this hotel mainly because we have friends nearby and wanted an easy walk to their homes.

There is a water bus stop right outside and it is a short walk to the Ghetto area.

We really enjoyed it after long days of walking and sightseeing.

Perfect stay in a fantastic location - 10 min walk from train station and less than 5 mins walk from the water shuttle stop to/from the airport.

but close enough to walk or get the water bus which is right outside.

but it keeps you out of the hustle and bustle and the walk is stunning anyway.

It could be easily accessed by water bus, no matter from airport or for visiting Burano & Murano (or 10min walk from Santa Lucia station).

but if you don't want to walk there are 2 water bus stops right outside that will take you anywhere around the main and other islands easily,so make sure to visit Murano and Lido as well. .

The walk to St.Mark's Square was about 30mins - perfect in the summer because we got to stroll and explore quieter streets and really see the whole city.

Short 15 minute walk through the beautiful city to get to St marks Square.

To go to the airport, walk a lesiurely 10 mins to Guglie and take the Allilguna for 16 euros per pax.

Delightful stay - the breakfast was lovely, the staff were warm and welcoming, service was outstanding, hotel is clean and the rooms are neat.

Breakfast area was clean and comfortable and the staff there were very pleasant.

The breakfast was really good with lots of selection and really good fresh squeezed orange juice and cappuccino.

Also, really lovely breakfast and service which helped us to fuel up and start our day, the location was just perfect.

but the hotel was clean, comfortable, breakfast (optional) filled a hole and service was great.

While the hotel's elevator was broken, they helped us bring our bags to our rooms and compensated us with free breakfast, which was very delicious.

It will take you about 10 minutes to walk to the Colosseum and very good restaurants close by, safe area though.

We walked to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain which were about 10-15 minutes walking as well.

Great location and can easily walk to Colosseum and enjoy a nice stroll through old town.

The hotel is centrally located (a few blocks from the Colosseum) and is really lovely.

but it is in a fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from termini station and approx 15 minutes walk to the colosseum.

Easy walking distance to all main location, Colosseum, trevi fountain & spanish steps.

We chose the Raffaello because it is close to Termini station and also the archeological sites. In truth, we walked to all the locations we visited (Colosseum, Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican, Parthenon, etc.)

The hotel is located blocks from the Termini train station and blocks from the Colosseum.

For starters, this hotel is within walking distance of so many attractions including the Colosseum, Santa Maria Majore Church and San Piedro Nicolo.

I was able to visit the Colosseum and the Vatican city and commute using just the buses 81 and 64.

The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Cavour, Republica, and Termini metro stations, and less than a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum and surrounding ruins.

My ten year old son and I had a great stay at Hotel Raffaelo is ideally located within easy walking distance from the Colosseum, the Forum, Trevi Fountain and Rome's central station.

The lift wasn’t working for the week so had to carry our luggage up to our room.

Lift doesn't work, no hot water night or in the morning.

Notes: the elevator is out of commission and, according to the front desk, will be for some time.

There were no elevators and if you have mobility issues this can be a real problem and the shower was like getting into a cubicle with no room to move.

Only downside is the lift doesn’t work so it’s a very tough climb up to 4th floor on steep stairs even for fit people😅

The only issue we had was that the elevator was not working, so walking up and down the stairs was a bit of a workout for a couple in our 70's.

The elevator was broken and the staff was very apologetic

Lift was broken, staff were unhelpful/rude.

The next day we woke up and the lift was broken, so therefore I had 3 flights of stairs to get to reception.

The lift is way too small (3 pax can barely stand in it) and stops at intermediate levels, so you always have to climb up/down the stairs for reaching the rooms, which is quite inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage.

Negative includes: very small room, tiny elevator (1 person with luggage at most), elevator stops between floors (so, at least 9 steps to walk) and VERY small shower.

This is a boutique hotel, so there is only one small elevator and stairs are more convenient.

every time I arrive back to the hotel I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes just get on the elevator.

Only complaint would be the very small elevator that stops in between floors so one still has to either go up or down a flight of stairs to get to your room.

The bathroom was marble with modern cool looking sink and fixtures.

Breakfast (very good selection and the coffee was great) is also located up 10 steps from the reception level on a bit of a slippery, marble staircase and the free coffee machine is located some 10 steps down from the reception level.

Pleasantly surprised on arrival by the marble staircase to breakfast room.The breakfast was very good with a good choice.Nice to be greeted bty by staff who remembered tea/coffee preferences.

Our room was very comfortable and well-appointed, with a lovely rose marble bathroom, comfy bed and a nice view out our window.

The only downside was the size of the corner shower which was really small and barely manageable.

The bathroom is also small and everything works.

but the bathroom…..we had to step up 2 steps to a small door into the very small bathroom.

However, another family member was in a different room and their bathroom was quite small

The shower takes a little getting used to because it is small

The shower was rather small and not the easiest to move around in.

We stayed here for 8 nights so a few things were frustrating:  a tiny shower that might not accommodate a person with above average weight or height, the lack of hair conditioner and Kleenex, and a satellite TV system that does not work consistently.

The room was adequate for our needs (although the shower was a little small!).

though the small showers took some getting used to.

The only minus would have to be the very small shower!

The rooms are a bit small by North American standards

Not everything is perfect, though, the safe in the room is very small.

The elevator/“lift” to the rooms is quite small as are the rooms themselves.

The elevator is VERY small & there is only room for one person with luggage at a time.

Hotel was very outdated, the rooms were small, the bathroom shower was a nightmare, very small and dangerous  (almost fell out) with little to no water pressure.

As its just 2 small and room was dirty.they met is with contempt.

Not bad at all,clean and very safe.also the staff was friendly and helpful.Furthermore it was a last minute checkin and they treated me like a king.Only thing was parking.Parking is a problem

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

He ensured our backpacks would be looked after as he placed them next to the front desk in the lobby alongside other guest’s luggage; and told us to return after 2pm.

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff that continues to improve whilst maintaining high standards.

This is a wonderful hotel a short walk from Termini station.

This hotel is located near Termini Station and lots of restaurants.

most comfortable stay in ROME near Termini station - also walk able from all major sites.

I had no problem walking with my roller bag from the station to the hotel.

It is located close to termini station which is the airport train as well as the intersection of the two metro lines.

The hotel is in a pretty good location, the metro station Cavour is just down the road and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Hotel Raffaello is located in a historical building on a quiet street street with easy access to many of Rome’s main attractions, as well as the rail station.

The hotel is well positioned - 10 minutes from Termini Station and key city centre attractions with a handy mini supermarket very close by.

Termini station is a 10 minute walk the other direction.

You can walk easily to many places, and the Cavour Metro station is just three short blocks away.

We chose Rafaello because of its proximity to the Termini Station.

The term station is only a 10-minute walk away.

If you aren't into walking, it is really close to TWO metro stations on two different lines AND within walking distance to the Roma Termini train station!

The location is good for walking to the majority of places, near to 2 Metro stations on different lines as well.

The location is super close to termini station which was fab for us to get to the airport by train or bus.

While it is walkable from Termini station, it is a bit of a distance when you have luggage and such in tow.

It’s a 10-15 walk from termini train station.

but also made use of the hop on hop off buses starting from the main Termini train station which was about 10-15 minutes walk away.

10-15 minutes from main to train station (important pulling carryon luggage) and Metro.

The location was very convenient for train station and the major sights, many good small restaurants in the area, not too crowded or touristy.

I chose this hotel for the location (near the Rome Termini; main train station), price for the advertised offerings, and because of the standards required to have the Best Western brand association.

I love how close this hotel was to Termini train station.

So easy to get to from the central train station (Termini).
