Initially had a bad experience with no air conditioning and staff at reception that didn't careless about my complaints.

Air con was not functioning in the room and it was hot and stuffy.

The bathroom was terrible, the service to fix anything was terrible, 
The AC didn't work it was hot and terrible to sleep.

AC in the room did not work properly and kept making sounds all night.

We requested fans for each room as we were prepared for the heat.

There was no air conditioning in the room and the fan in the bathroom did not work.

We had to endure a balmy 79-80 degrees in the room throughout out entire stay (even at night, dropped to 78), was provided with a desk fan; despite 3 attempts requesting to have AC fixed at the registration desk, we eventually found out they can't fix it;

Rooms are tired and I and I had to change as shower was broken and air con did not work.

This time there was no air conditioning in the rooms (which we were not advised of at check in).

We also were given another room and that cooling system did not work.

The aircon was not working and the fan was not effective.

but not working, even though there was a fan it was pretty hot all night.

The room that we stayed in looked tired and the air conditioning was very weak.

No air-conditioning and no fridge, at this point I was too tired to complain again.

Our other son said that the air con in their room was poor

The rooms are dated in area with black on the tiles around the bath.

Ceiling shower not high enough for tall people.

but the bathroom dated and could do with modernisation.

Outdated, and a massive environmental water disaster (Faucet running, single use towels, no water stop on the toilets, old and outdated bathroom with rusty rods).

toilets clog and no one came to fix it when we called.

All the drawers either had missing or broken handles making them useless, the safe was broken and the bathroom in dire need of having some money invested in it with its broken and cracked tiles. .

although the price was acceptable for Central London  the rooms need updating badly especially the Bathroom .

The bathroom floor hasn’t seem a mop or hoover.

Something was spilled all over the toilet.

Hotel reception not responsive to requests to deal with repair in room - locked wash hand basin for duration of 4 day stay Slow to allocate room chosen and paid for ;had to wait in another room while issue was supposed to being resolved

Positive point good views Sadly here’s  the negatives Snarky check in with two members of staff looking at us and pointing of the computer screen with no communication to us at all all very strange Room basic only with poor toiletry facilities mini bar had wine in a tin Breakfast not good at all

I was disappointed we had to ask twice for a lightbulb to be replaced in the bathroom.

-completely OUTDATED; place is aged, needs serious upgrades throughout
-no fridge (mini fridge door was sealed off)
-no exhaust fan in bathroom, so bathroom steamed up when taking shower in addition to already having the balmy 79 degrees present
-Elevators are SOOO slow, had to wait up to 10 minutes to get from 7th floor to 1st floor, eventually discovered the freight elevator
-Breakfast was disappointing to say the least, thankfully our breakfast was included in the rate we paid;

Very comfy king size bed, black out curtains.

Only thing which was nice was the comfortable beds and the full English breakfast.

Comfortable bed in a room that has seen better days.

My husband and I enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the comfortable bed and appreciated the air conditioning which was really efficient.

The bed was very comfortable and air-conditioning was a blessing in the heat to walk into a cool room was excellent.

Rooms were very quiet and comfortable beds.

This was not the bed's fault - it was a lovely comfy bed with a mattress topper and my husband slept like a log.

The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, the bed was covered with a light quilt which was perfect for a good night sleep.

We had a super king bed which was very comfortable and we had a mini bar with beer & wine which was restocked on our 2nd day.

Fantastic weekend away,staff so friendly and helpful,free mini bar which was restocked each day and bed was so comfy.

Staff were brilliant, bed was comfy, room was clean enough, location is great.

The room itself was clean, great TV and wifi, room service available, and very comfortable bed and chairs.

On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly.

The beds were really comfy and I want to know where they get there pillows cos they are so soft!

Stayed here for the London marathon in a suite, the location was perfect and the room was quiet and had everything you would need.

We stayed here for 2 nights, hotel well located and easy to travel around.

Premier location overlooking the Thames and Tower Bridge with friendly staff.

Excellent location for a hotel, great views and surroundings.

All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely book again, the location is fantastic and it was lovely walking out to the view of tower bridge each morning.

It's a great location right next to Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London with a short walk to bus stops and the tube.

Great location by Tower Bridge and 2 minute walk from Tower Hill tube station.

The hotel was in an ideal location next to the Tower bridge, and the Tower of London.

We had a double room which was comfortable.

Check in easy and well managed, cleanliness of hotel excellent, all elevators working and quick, breakfast excellent, views amazing and balloons and cake delivered to our room for our daughters birthday.

I liked the electronic communication of 'do not disturb/please clean the room'.

Did not seem interested with my booking request for nice room with bridge view, food and cleanliness was excellent and room was serviced well each day.

Outside of the room, the hotel was really nice, clean and looked really nice.

When we got the room it really was a lovely room with a great view up the river.

Rooms are not updated or modernized, which we liked because it gave it the London charm we wanted.

They have clearly spent money on the reception area and restaurants so why not the rooms?

In luck… the hotel receptions said 10-15 mins a room will be ready.

Our 6th floor room was a typical London tourist room, yet comfortable, clean and quite spacious.

Our rooms were very nice and the views were breathtaking.

Highly recommend getting a room with the view of Tower Bridge.

My wife and I stayed 2x nights over a Sept weekend in a standard double room overlooking the St Katherine's dock at the back of the hotel.

We stayed in a 10th floor family room overlooking Tower Bridge and Thames and every morning as well as evening took our time to just stand an look.

We had a nice view from our room that overlooked the boats outside.

but did get Tower view room so that was a bonus.

We had a bridge room view which was absolutely amazing.

the double room overlooking the tower bridge is very nice.

We were all on the 8th floor and out of the 3 rooms 2 had views over St Katherine’s dock.

Location and surroundings were good, there was not far to transport/underground and not at least the view from the room, when you paid a little extra.

The location and view is great especially we have a bridge view room.

The Tower view rooms really do offer everything you'd hope for and the location of this hotel and the fact it provides reasonable parking made this a wonderful place to stay and explore the city on my wife's birthday.

At first sight this hotel looks amazing, with its lofty, airy lobby and the view, which is second to none!

The view was amazing, the room nice and big with comfortable beds.

We would always stop in there for a Strawberry Daiquiri wether we were staying or not because of this drink and also a very pleasant place to rest with the view of the tower bridge if your lucky enough to get a window seat especially the bay window table.

Views for days, booked a couple of nights to celebrate the start of a new year and enjoyed the view so much, the room was perfect and well equipped and covid was taken very seriously.

Had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel, the staff were all amazing, the room (suite)was clean and facilities were good, the view was breathtaking overlooking the yachts in st Katherine’s dock and the Canary Wharf/dock lands skyline.

I stayed 2 nights at The Tower Hotel and I felt amazing.

The hotel is a short walk to the Tower of London, the Tower Hill tube station, and many restaurants.

It's so close to the tower Bridge which is beautiful.

The kitchenette was great, there was a fireplace , nice deck, and a well appointed bathroom with rain shower, tub, robes and a warm floor.

We loved everything about the bedrooms in the suit- each had their own huge bathroom with a great shower and bath tub.

There's a second, smaller cool tub ( about 30C).

We were able to watch the waves and the tides from the comfort of either the living room or the master bedroom, and even the bathtub!

The bath was spa inspired with a heated floor, soaker tub and rain-shower.

The rooms are beautiful, with an amazing rain forest shower and deep bathtub.

Miele appliances, huge bathroom, rain shower and big soaker tubs are all things well designed and more.

I did end up cleaning the tub myself and was able to enjoy a soak.

The bathroom: Of many places we have stayed at, we loved the bathroom; not only do you have a nice soaker tub with a view of the fireplace and the ocean (depending which room you get)

The bathroom had a soaker tub and a rainforest shower head and heated tile floors.

Bathroom was spotless with both a deep bathtub and very large shower.

Our room had a huge bathroom with massive rain shower and separate tub, and you get to soak while looking out your patio door!

The bathroom had heated floors a nice shower and a bid tub.

We loved our spacious room with a well stocked kitchen, and a large bathroom with a separate shower and soaker tub.

We loved having cocktails in the float lounge, enjoying the rain showers and soaker tubs and breakfasts were a particular favourite.

I loved bathroom with the large rain shower and separate soaker tub with beautiful views out over the ocean.

Also, the glass windows between the tub and the bed don’t offer great sound proofing.

The hotel is beautifully situated right on the ocean and our 1 bedroom studio was extremely comfortable and included a king bed, kitchenette, great soaker tub, rainfall shower and gas fireplace.

It sits side by side with beaches, wild trails & inspiringly tall trees.

We ate both nights at the Big Beach Lounge which had a good atmosphere and a smaller,

Explore Ucluelet - there are seals in the harbour and its a pretty little town,

Certainly the setting is on the wild and dramatic west coast and the resort is purpose built.

Sat right on the coastline with great walks on the Pacific rim.

The mail fern, natural west coast vibe is inspiring, the staff are wonderful and super helpful!

Been to Black Rock Oceanfront - Ucluelet in August this year for about 8 days , it was a great stay, accommodating& friendly staff, good food at the restaurants, awesome view, perfect surroundings (trails, beaches), went to Tofino too, National Parks.

At the Big Beach Lounge the vibe is more casual and even has live music on some evenings.

Food was nice in the bar area with stunning views of the coast.

but to us it seemed like a pretty full view of the ocean and shoreline, it was wonderful!

We ate dinner in the Big Beach Lounge two times and both times the food was excellent (little recommendations: the B5 Burger).

The beaches are about a twenty minute drive up the road towards Tofino (and we’ll worth the trek).

Ukee, as locals call Ucluelet, has an immediate authenticity to it, bound as it is by the, often tumultuous,  Wild West coast, on the one side,  & the working inner harbour on the other.

WE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL ON 9TH AND 10TH MAY 2023 EXCELLENT VIEWS OF THE BEACH FROM THE ROOM.

We had a great comfortable king bed with a panoromic view of the bay with open windows so we could here the ocean as we slept.

Resort occupies a beautiful stretch of coastline.

The view from the Big Beach Bar & Lounge was stunning at sunset.

The view of the ocean and west coast forest words cannot explain or pictures can't describe.

No room cleaning during stay so had attendant deliver extra towels and coffee in advance.

They offer light housekeeping, which means even with a two night stay they do not even make the bed.

We never once saw housekeeping on our floor.

There were some small housekeeping issues.

The hotel makes it clear that there is no daily housekeeping

only jiggle and they are small - no housekeeping ( unless you ask for an item) and the resistant and bar are expensive

Always a bit disappointing at check-in when the receptionist says they aren't going to service the room; a big part of my day job is cleaning holiday accommodation and changing, washing and ironing bedlinen so it would have been lovely to have had it all done for me.

Alittle disappointed that for the price there was no housekeeping, so make your own bed and if you need more or change of towels let us know.

They’re still not cleaning rooms every day because of Covid,

Room didnt seem cleaned at all, still could see dog hair on the carpet, there was no coffee in the suite.

Having only 2 of each item (2 plates, 2 glasses etc) and no dishwasher meant I was constantly doing dishes since there was no housekeeping during the pandemic.

Unfortunately we couldnt have housekeeping during our stay and

but I did witness the housekeepers cleaning our neighbours balcony and I can safely say that they wiped down EVERY surface thoroughly.

Most tables are marked as don't use so we stood in the middle of the bar hoping someone would offer to clean up one of the dirty tables

The bath tub was also not cleaned once during our 3 day stay, even after declining the offer of no housekeeping for a $10 credit.

I called the front desk, and someone did come immediately to clean the drawer and collect the Kleenex.

which was surprising, given that we elected for no housekeeping at check-in.

The staff seem very disenchanted (apart from the housekeeping person we encountered).

however the food we thought is largely overpriced (especially in Current), not very refined, very salty and blackened.

The kitchen could be a little better stocked with utensils (knives were blunt)
I was a little surprised that we received no bed making or servicing of our room other than bins emptied during our 3 night stay, for the rate we paid that was a bit disappointing.

The Black Rock doesn't offer a shuttle service, and they should provide for the price they charge for rooms.

Our sleep was severely interrupted all 3 nights and I paid a fortune to stay here.

but they definitely cheap out on what counts the most, the bed you pay to sleep in.
