Initially had a bad experience with no air conditioning and staff at reception that didn't careless about my complaints.

Air con was not functioning in the room and it was hot and stuffy.

The bathroom was terrible, the service to fix anything was terrible, 
The AC didn't work it was hot and terrible to sleep.

AC in the room did not work properly and kept making sounds all night.

We requested fans for each room as we were prepared for the heat.

There was no air conditioning in the room and the fan in the bathroom did not work.

We had to endure a balmy 79-80 degrees in the room throughout out entire stay (even at night, dropped to 78), was provided with a desk fan; despite 3 attempts requesting to have AC fixed at the registration desk, we eventually found out they can't fix it;

Rooms are tired and I and I had to change as shower was broken and air con did not work.

This time there was no air conditioning in the rooms (which we were not advised of at check in).

We also were given another room and that cooling system did not work.

The aircon was not working and the fan was not effective.

but not working, even though there was a fan it was pretty hot all night.

The room that we stayed in looked tired and the air conditioning was very weak.

No air-conditioning and no fridge, at this point I was too tired to complain again.

Our other son said that the air con in their room was poor

The rooms are dated in area with black on the tiles around the bath.

Ceiling shower not high enough for tall people.

but the bathroom dated and could do with modernisation.

Outdated, and a massive environmental water disaster (Faucet running, single use towels, no water stop on the toilets, old and outdated bathroom with rusty rods).

toilets clog and no one came to fix it when we called.

All the drawers either had missing or broken handles making them useless, the safe was broken and the bathroom in dire need of having some money invested in it with its broken and cracked tiles. .

although the price was acceptable for Central London  the rooms need updating badly especially the Bathroom .

The bathroom floor hasn’t seem a mop or hoover.

Something was spilled all over the toilet.

Hotel reception not responsive to requests to deal with repair in room - locked wash hand basin for duration of 4 day stay Slow to allocate room chosen and paid for ;had to wait in another room while issue was supposed to being resolved

Positive point good views Sadly here’s  the negatives Snarky check in with two members of staff looking at us and pointing of the computer screen with no communication to us at all all very strange Room basic only with poor toiletry facilities mini bar had wine in a tin Breakfast not good at all

I was disappointed we had to ask twice for a lightbulb to be replaced in the bathroom.

-completely OUTDATED; place is aged, needs serious upgrades throughout
-no fridge (mini fridge door was sealed off)
-no exhaust fan in bathroom, so bathroom steamed up when taking shower in addition to already having the balmy 79 degrees present
-Elevators are SOOO slow, had to wait up to 10 minutes to get from 7th floor to 1st floor, eventually discovered the freight elevator
-Breakfast was disappointing to say the least, thankfully our breakfast was included in the rate we paid;

The view of the Tower Bridge was breathtaking.

Lovely surroundings close to Thames and saw the Brazilian boat U27 going up the Thames through Tower Bridge a welcomed and unexpected sight to see.

A nice and friendly hotel that is well placed next to Tower Bridge.

Did not seem interested with my booking request for nice room with bridge view, food and cleanliness was excellent and room was serviced well each day.

All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely book again, the location is fantastic and it was lovely walking out to the view of tower bridge each morning.

It's so close to the tower Bridge which is beautiful.

It's a great location right next to Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London with a short walk to bus stops and the tube.

Great location by Tower Bridge and 2 minute walk from Tower Hill tube station.

The hotel was in an ideal location next to the Tower bridge, and the Tower of London.

2 of our rooms looked our directly at the beautiful Tower of London bridge.

We stayed at the tower hill hotel with a twin room and a bridge veiw and the staff were very friendly and the view  was out standing we will be planning to come back very soon was the best hotel I have ever stayed at !

This was not the bed's fault - it was a lovely comfy bed with a mattress topper and my husband slept like a log.

The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, the bed was covered with a light quilt which was perfect for a good night sleep.

We had a super king bed which was very comfortable and we had a mini bar with beer & wine which was restocked on our 2nd day.

Fantastic weekend away,staff so friendly and helpful,free mini bar which was restocked each day and bed was so comfy.

My wife and I stayed 2x nights over a Sept weekend in a standard double room overlooking the St Katherine's dock at the back of the hotel.

We stayed in a 10th floor family room overlooking Tower Bridge and Thames and every morning as well as evening took our time to just stand an look.

We had a nice view from our room that overlooked the boats outside.

but did get Tower view room so that was a bonus.

We had a bridge room view which was absolutely amazing.

the double room overlooking the tower bridge is very nice.

We were all on the 8th floor and out of the 3 rooms 2 had views over St Katherine’s dock.

Location and surroundings were good, there was not far to transport/underground and not at least the view from the room, when you paid a little extra.

At first sight this hotel looks amazing, with its lofty, airy lobby and the view, which is second to none!

The view was amazing, the room nice and big with comfortable beds.

We would always stop in there for a Strawberry Daiquiri wether we were staying or not because of this drink and also a very pleasant place to rest with the view of the tower bridge if your lucky enough to get a window seat especially the bay window table.

Had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel, the staff were all amazing, the room (suite)was clean and facilities were good, the view was breathtaking overlooking the yachts in st Katherine’s dock and the Canary Wharf/dock lands skyline.

I stayed 2 nights at The Tower Hotel and I felt amazing.

The hotel is a short walk to the Tower of London, the Tower Hill tube station, and many restaurants.

Setting was lovely overlooking the marina .

It is near everything and has the best view in London.

Check in easy and well managed, cleanliness of hotel excellent, all elevators working and quick, breakfast excellent, views amazing and balloons and cake delivered to our room for our daughters birthday.

Without a doubt this is the best view from a hotel window we have ever had, Tower Bridge, The Shard and the a view of the Thames.

The view of the Coronado Bay Bridge from our room was breathtaking, and we had easy access to the Grand Club Lounge and the Rooftop Bar, Top of the Hyatt.

We had a magnificent view of the harbor and Coronado bridge.

The hotel is very nice and clean, our room had an excellet view of the city, Coronado bridge and ocean.

We booked a one bedroom suite and even from the 9th floor we had a great view of the skyline and Coronado bridge.

We drove across the bridge and went to Coronado beach and got to enjoy the community over there.

The location is wonderful, loads of walkable points of interest and a short ride over the bridge or up to the beach.

The views of Coronado bridge and city were spectacular.

Had a high level room with southern view of Coronado Bridge - wow what a view!

Right by the bridge to go to Coronado Island.

We could see the harbor and the bridge going to Coronado.

Our room had breathtaking views of the San Diego bay and famous Coronado bridge and island.

Our view was the entirety of Coronado Island, the bay, the bridge, etc.

Midway, Hotel Coronado, The Coronado Islands, and south to the Coronado Bay Bridge.

Our room had a great view of the bridge and we loved being able to walk around to multiple restaurants.

The view from our room was breathtaking - the bay, the Convention Center, the Coronado bridge, North Island, Seaport Village, Embarcadero.

We had a corner king room facing the Coronado Bridge and the Bay and it was spectacular!

I stayed in the Harbor Tower, in a room on the 28th floor looking over the Coronado bridge and the harbor.

We had a spectacular bay view that allowed us to see both the USS Midway and the Coronado bridge.

This tower faces Coronado Island and the iconic Coronado Bridge.

Convention and was treated very well from the first day, I thank all the staff for such an amazing experience!!!

Small downsides are:

#1 - due to large conventions throughout the year they are at capacity, meaning it's becoming less of a family friendly hotel and more corporate conference destination. Sad.

As a participant of a nearby convention I found it very interesting that they were leveraging folks to pay more for rooms that were already booked and reserved.

I stayed there as an attendee for a business convention.

We were fortunate to have a room on the 29th floor with a view over Petco Park, the Convention Centre, the Shell (Sydney Opera House lookalike) and Coronado.

I stayed at the hotel for a convention down the street.

Checking in was a breeze even while thousands of our convention goers were all checking in.

I did not have high expectations as I was here for my two daughters’ dance convention.

but is very large and felt more like a convention hotel than in the past.

Awesome view, awesome complimentary services and really helped my convention busy schedule and duties!

This is a convention hotel so it is huge, not a boutique hotel.

When we pulled up into the valet, we had quite a few bags and boxes as we were bringing supplies for the convention.

Had long days at the IHRSA convention and came back and slept like a queen.

Hyatt has wonderful meeting spaces for conventions and it allowed for a positive work event.

I booked this hotel for a work convention and was okay with the organizers choice.

We were served breakfast & lunch via buffet each day for our convention.

Within 10-15 minutes walking is the Gas Lamp district with so many fun activities you can indulge in.

Good walking distance to GasLamp District and bay.

Within walking distance of the gas lamp district and access to several restaurants etc.

Very close to the gaslamp district, which had a ton of bars and restaurants.

Close to conference center and within walking distance of downtown Gaslamp district.

Easy walking distance to several local places to visit (the Midway aircraft carrier and the Gas Lamp district).

the walk to the Gaslamp district with even more shopping and restaurants was doable as well

It is close to the pier with all the fun happening over there, it is close to the Coronado ferry and it is also within short walking distance to little Italy and the Gaslamp district.

It is minutes from Petco Park, the Gaslight district and Little Italy.

The hotel is at a great location next to Seaport Village and a 10 minutes walk to Gaslamp District.

It's close to all the restaurants, Gaslamp district, etc.

The hotel is within an easy walking distance of the convention center, Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, Headquarters at Seaport District.

High walkability location: 10 min walk to the San Diego Convention Center, Gas Lap district.

The location was outstanding being right on the harbor, walking distance to the gas lamp district and my wife was able to catch a water taxi over to Coronado Island.

Absolutely wonderful location, right on the waterfront and across the street from Gaslamp district.

The Gaslamp District was a beautiful, easy 15 minute walk with lots of different restaurants, bars, and shopping.

Gaslamp District is walkable or a $8 Uber ride away.

It sits right on the harbor and is steps away from Seaport Village, while being close enough to the gaslamp district that it's a short walk,

The location is within walking distance of seaport village, convention center, gaslamp district and ballpark.

I loved the location and the staff was great.

Located only about a 7min drive from the airport and situated right on the bay.

Manchester Grand Hyatt SD is located at the beautiful SD bay with breathing taking views and walking distance to numerous fun activities and nightlife.

The hotel manager, Eric is such a pleasure and this is a wonderful upscale hotel in the best possible location as we could walk to all restaurants we had reservations at for dinner.
