Everything perfect with the room and bathroom, we slept well and enjoyed the breakfast.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant that was very delicious and the continental breakfast we had in the morning was quite lovely.

I ordered room service for a late-night dinner and breakfast and the food was prompt and delicious.

although I would again like to point out the great service provided by Lucia in the restaurant, during the breakfast service.

The location on the gardens is so close to the Underground, British Museum, and healthy walks to Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden for theatre shows.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stationed and their library and garden room such a delight to relax in.

From Afternoon Tea, to the Leopard Bar, to dinner, and to the lovely breakfast every morning, the level of service and the food was outstanding.

The staff at breakfast were a delight – friendly, chatty and service-orientated.

Beyond the breakfast, the hotel team were always at hand to help around and answer any questions we might have.

We ordered a few cocktails and a plate of fish and chips to share - all were delicious.

Dined there once for breakfast & once for dinner.

The customer service was first class, our room and bed amazingly comfortable and a delicious first class breakfast.

Next morning down for breakfast, incredible choice and again good friendly service.

The restaurant and bar staff were equally wonderful’ so friendly and welcoming!

Reception team fantastic,  room delightful,  complementary bottle of champagne courtesy of the manager Dirk, room service after the concert was amazing too.

The dinner menu was original and the food excellent.

The Montague on the Gardens is excellent in ticking all the boxes:  location, cleanliness, attention-to-detail, eating and drinking amenities, and last,

Bloomsbury is really a gem of an area - short walk to so many attractions and restaurants.

The salmon skewers were beautifully cooked and all the other canapes were filling and really tasty.

The restaurant and the afternoon tea in the garden are very nicely presented.

Visited the Montague on the garden hotel for an afternoon tea yesterday with my wife.We had an excellent time .The service bad staff was absolutely wonderful and mead the day so amazing.The mango fusion tea is dream to savour.As we arrived ,we were greeted with a wonderful smile and you couldn’t ask anymore from the staff.Everything is as expected and we are definitely be going back .Next time it would be for an evening meal .Well done to all the staff that works at the hotel and for making the day unforgettable.

The concierge was very helpful in directing us to several wonderful "non-touristy" pubs for dinner and we could not have been happier with his suggestions.

We enjoyed very much talking with Lucia in the Restaurant and Georgia at the Front Desk, ably assisted by Neil, Jorge and Animbola.

We had breakfast every morning in the main room , they had a very nice variety of food.

Yes, the room was small as one might expect in Central London,

The room is small like other British hotels and all rooms have different interiors and decoration, if you prefer those shown in the website and platform, better request for that and the hotel is very accommodating.

), our rooms were very small (probably different than the nice photos uploaded here), no fridge in the room so no place to keep cool water or stuff, and no handheld shower head in the bathroom (which to me is annoying if I'm not looking to wash my hair, only body).

However, in all my many years of traveling I have never been accommodated in such a tiny room: there wasn't even room for me to leave my suitcase open.

If we had stayed longer, I think the tiny room would have felt cramped.

The work out room is very small with only three pieces of equipment (elliptical, bike and treadmill)

I asked right away to remedy the situation and received a flat out no on noticing the tiny room,

Our standard room was small for four nights, next time I’d upgrade,

The rooms are small and there are hallways with twists and turns.

I requested early checkin and was given a small room to use until my regular room was ready.

The staff at the hotel are so welcoming and helpful, particularly the bar staff who made great recommendations- thank you.

They have wonderful, warm and inviting staff.

Head Concierge Mustafa was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable—helping us before we arrived and again upon arrival with great information and expert assistance.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the staff at Montague on the Gardens.

Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

From the moment we pulled up and the car was taken by the concierge, amazing.

Around the corner from The British Museum, this lovely hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury.

It is also located right across the street from the British Museum, a must see site in London.

It's perfect for a visit to the British Museum, literally 5 minutes walk to the main entrance.

The Montegue on the Garden is a wonderful boutique Hotel across the street from The British Museum in London.

The location was also great being close to Covent Garden, the West End and of course the British Museum.

The hotel is well located--a 5 minute walk from the Russell Square tube station in one direction and a 10-minute walk from the Tottenham Court Road tube station in the other direction and more or less directly across the street from the British Museum.

This lovely Hotel is situated next door to The British Museum, so close you can almost touch it.

The guest rooms and public spaces are lovely and the location in Bloomsbury around the corner from the British Museum is convenient yet on a quiet garden.

We arrived early, so dropped our bags off and headed out for lunch and a look around the British Museum, which is right around the corner.

The hotel is close to the British Museum, restaurants and public transit.

We also really enjoyed the location near the British Museum and the Picadilly Line.

Again we went to the British Museum, rode the tubes and enjoyed London from our lovely hotel.

The location is steps from the British Museum.

Its location is very good, close to the British Museum and the underground is just a short walk away.

The Montague Hótel is a gem in Bloomsbury, close to the British Museum.

It is adjacent to the British Museum which is a must see.

Hotel is centrally located right next to the British Museum.

Just a ten minute walk to Shaftesbury Avenue for our theatre visit, and the hotel is just behind the British Museum so worth a visit there too.

Now my 1 positive comment, great location, for British museum , 10 mins walk to Covent garden, and the theatre district.

but it was clean and tidy throughout and the location couldn't be faulted for the West End and British Museum.

Near underground tube station and British Museum Definitely stay there again when next we visit

about a mile from euston station, and 10 minutes walk from all the main theaters and shows, covent garden is also about 10 minutes walk away, british museum, is not far, so really central for everything

Location is fantastic, next to British Museum, easy access to the Underground, and walkable to the West End.

Near subway (Tottenham court road), close to Oxford street, excellent bus connections, < 5 min to British museum, 15min walk to Leicester square (theaters, chinatown), yet relatively peaceful area.

The location just close to British Museum could hardly be better.

B&B is close to British Museum, Tottenham court tube stop is an easy 15 minute walk.

Next door to the outstanding British Museum, close to three tube stations, within easy walking distance of London's theatre district and a variety of restaurants were all pluses.

Basic, clean, comfortable, good breakfast, within easy walking distance of theaters, British Museum and good food and drinking spots.

You can see the back of British museum from some windows and it is very close to Oxford street and the Tottenham court road subway station.

Because I knew there was no elevator I requested a room on a lower floor & did get one.

but we did know there were no lifts, so i'll let that one go.

This hotel has narrow stairs and no lift with the reception and breakfast in the basement so not accessible for people with limited mobility or large, heavy suitcases.

though hallways and stairways are narrow, no elevator in our building and we were on an upper floor.

There was no lift which would have been difficult for anyone with mobility issues, especially if you were on a higher floor.

I struggled a bit to take it up (No Lift).

but hotel very disappointed, small no lift so if elderly you would struggle, rooms small,  Staff didn’t see any until breakfast no good morning nothing, lots of tables left with lots food left on plates, order our breakfast  was ok but had better.

It's useful to know that - according to the room you get - you may have to climb several flights of steps, and there is no elevator.

Note that there is no lift and even stairs downn to reception.

However, it's not for anyone who has a problem climbing stairs: there's no elevator (or "lift").

My room was on the top floor (3rd) and as there is no elevator you need to be able to walk up, which I knew about and was not a problem.

but there is no lift, those with mobility problems will struggle up the narrow staircase.

No elevator; my room was on the 4th floor.

Our only issue was we stayed in the 3rd floor with No lift.

but as the hotel is a converted house, there was no lift and I was on the top floor (4th)!

That was the positives, the downside was the climb up the seemingly endless stairs as there are no lifts so not for the fainthearted!!

Be warned, if you have any problems getting around, there's no elevator, so you may want to request a room that's not on the top floor (4th, I think).

Be aware; No elevator - we were in 2.nd floor (55 steps up!).

We had a room that was like a small apartment.

However, the furnishing are very old, the rooms very small, the walls are paper thin, it is definately not romantic, and the breakfast is very basic.

I’ve not stayed at the Morgan before - I wanted somewhere close to the British Museum and I couldn’t really get closer.

The location is fantastic, next door to the British Museum.

but clean and a good location for the British Museum and 15-20 minute walk from the theatre district.

We enjoyed our stay at the Morgan, it is on a prime location if you are visiting the British museum over a period of days, literally 5 minute walk.

In the same block as the British Museum, so within walking distance of pretty much everything.

Right down the street from the British Museum, close to public transport, clean, and breakfast included!

The British museum is right behind the hotel, so that was an excellent perk!

The location of this hotel is good if you want to either watch a show or visit the British museum.

Round the corner from the British Museum (Mostly free entrance), 2 minutes walk to Tothenham Court Road Tube station, less than 10 minutes walk to a number of great Theatres and in the middle of lots of restaurants for all taste buds and pockets.

This is in a great locaiton just north of Covent Garden and ideal for the British Museum, Soho, etc, and it is in an interestering Victorian house with historic features.

One of many small, independent hotels in the area near the British Museum - this one is actually just round the corner from it.

First of all the location is perfect, in walking distance to shopping sites, the theater district, and best of all - right next door to the British Museum!

We were very close to the theatre district which also made things quite handy!

The Morgan is well located - beside the British Museum, on several bus routes and close to the Underground, the theatre district and Oxford Street shopping.

Front desk sent up a small desk fan to try to counter the stifling heat and humidity.

but I did wonder how in summer heat the rooms would be, and without air con more of an autumn/winter choice perhaps.

(Americans, take note - there is no air conditioning in this hotel, as it is seldom needed in London. Windows in the rooms open!)

The room was hot without air conditioning, or a fan.

The rooms also come with no air conditioning which is fine

Taking a shower made the room unbearably hot as there was no proper ventilation.

but the double bad was too small not very comfortable   the TV proved to complicated to operate there was no air conditioning so a fan was supplied.

but it was so hot we could barely sleep at all because there isn’t any air conditioning.

I requested a room on the first floor and a fan in the room and got both.

One of the hottest days of the year, no air con in the room and window restrictors.

The only problem we encountered was there was no aircon.

but we asked for a quiet room which was confirmed as granted on check in We were placed on 1st floor above kitchen with noisy extractor fan and cooking smells 24 hour per day.

Last room we had to stay overnight in was extremely hot as there was no air conditioning, having the window open made no difference and the noise of the outside generators made it impossible for us to sleep.

He also delivered a fan personally to our room because it was hot since there is no AC in the room.

Only down side was the room was pretty hot with not AC.

Room lovely, bathroom a bit tired looking and needs upgrading with an extractor fan added.

The location is excellent, with British Museum close by and Russell Square underground station a couple of minutes walk away.

London central addresses are just a few minutes away with the tube or walk to British Museum.

The hotel is in a good location in terms of access to both the City and West End as well as British Museum and Covent Garden.

The location was excellent and very easy to walk to some key places eg tube station, British Museum.

Actually I went to British museum twice,hehe!!

I barely hear any sound from neighboring rooms.

Overnight was quite enough with no notable disturbances.

Noisy at night outside window, horrible twin beds when asked for double.

The room was noisy, the walls seemed to be paper thin.

I have taken a video of the room to get an indication as to the level of the sound.

The taps are clunky, noisy and the shower curtain sticks to you in the shower.

Position and noise, we should have been advised.

however, someone in the room next door having some sort of bronchitis attack or something and the constant cough was a) loud and b)  stomach churning.

The shower gel if you call it that also  screwed on the wall ..I wanted a bath so to get to the shower gel and shampoo you have to stand up then sit back down to wash your body or hair no good for people with disabilities so please take your own I forgot mine like a fool 
So if you don't want to sleep due to the noise outside and want a rubbish to no sleep stay here .

Walls are paper thin and you can hear the conversations and TVs of people several rooms away.

Maintenance need to fit soft closes in the door as all night you hear doors slamming 
The corridors and carpets need a revamp likewise bedrooms 

BREAKFAST - Excellent choice of food

Only down side is a lot of rooms have not got a very nice view as they face onto the backs of other hotels and are quite noisy as well.

There is no air conditioning and opening the window is not an option due to road noise.

I am unsure of the window quality, in England it can often be low, and then there can be noise.

but walls are thin so the snoring and voices from next door was very easy to hear.
