The hotel was lovely and quiet, the breakfast very nice and the location is excellent for the museum quarter and a short walk on to the major city sights.

The breakfast was good value for money and just lovely.

The chocolate treats on our pillows at night were delightful and the breakfast was as attractive to look at as it was delicious to eat!

Almost every time I appeared in the hotel lobby Michelle was holding open the elevator door (heavy), so the guy on crutches could get in.

It’s got a very small lift and 6 floors of rooms. Love!!

The only negative thing I can say is that it probably had the tiniest elevator we’ve ever encountered.

There is one small elevator, just big enough for one with a big suitcase of 2 people.

Old fashion style lift in the middle of a circular stairwell.

but inside it makes use of its narrow shape, with six rooms spread across each floor, a central lift with glass sides surrounded by a stone staircase.

There is a small cage elevator that barely fit our luggage and one person or 2-3 persons without luggage, so we often chose to walk the five flights of stairs.

Hotel is small and with accordingly limited facilities (no bar or restaurant for example, one tiny lift)

The modern decor is complimented by tasteful contrasts, including a winding marble staircase and old fashioned elevator.

The hotel has a single, small lift, probably not for claustrophobes ,

The small elevator for two (2), is a treat in looks and performance!

but pretty elevator that accommodates a couple people with luggage at one time.

Due to the historic nature of the hotel building, the elevator is quite small and slow.

Close to all the major cultural attractions (walking distance 20  mins to Musicverein, 20 mins to StephensDom, 5 mins to Kunsthistorisches museum).

The art collection in this hotel was honestly better than that of a couple of museums we visited on this trip.

The hotel is in a good location on the edge of the museum quarter, so very close to The Leopold, yet I was not aware of any traffic noise.

The position was excellent, being so close to the Museum Quarter.

The hotel is located near the main shopping area / museum quarters and all main areas of attraction are within reach, and the subway station is within walking distance.

The Museum of Natural History could take hours to see it all.

The city center location is great and felt safe, museums are a hop skip away, places of interest are within easy 15 minutes walking distance and many restaurants in the area as well.

This hotel is in a very convenient location adjacent to Museum Quarter and on the pedestrian Mariahilfer shopping district.

The rooms are immaculate in terms of cleanliness and decor and the art throughout the hotel is a treat for the eyes.

This is a small boutique hotel, 30 rooms, so attention to detail is very good.

It was such a wonderful room, with elegant details, free chocolates every day, great coffee machine, and free pastries downstairs everyday.

Our room was lovely and the staff was gracious and professional!

The decor is fabulous, with paintings in every room and corridor.

My wife & I stayed in one of the best rooms on offer - a studio - for three nights, to celebrate her special birthday.

The rooms are perfectly soundproof and beds are very comfortable.

Everyone at reception was so kind and helpful, the room was very modern and clean, the artwork was fun and the location is honestly perfect.

The rooms are meticulously and tastefully decorated.

Then, too, there are four rooms with balconies overlooking the interesting Mariahfilfer Strasse.

The tree-lined shopping street was very pleasant.

The hotel is relaxing and on Vienna's busiest shopping street.

The location is also excellent, 10 minutes to a number of different christmas markets and just off the main shopping street surrounded by shops and restaurant's.

The soundproofing was excellent; we were 1st floor out onto the main shopping street and you could not hear a thing.

The hotel is within convenient walking distance from city highlights and main historic and tourist attractions, parks, a variety of restaurants and shopping (the hotel is located on Mariahilfer Strasse shopping street), public transport stations and much more.

To begin the hotel is located on the fabulous shopping street of Mariahilfer in the Museum Quarter, walking distance to the Hofburg Palace, Opera House, cafes and restaurants and metro stops.

Great Location at the longest shopping street in Vienna!

We got a first-floor room overlooking the Mariahilferstrasse shopping street.

The location is really good, right in the middle of a main shopping street and a few minutes away from the U Bahn (making it really easy to get to from the airport).

Just on the corner of a great shopping street, the hotel is decorated intricately with very welcoming staff.

in a great location on the Mariahilferstrasse which is one of the nice shopping streets and pedestrian malls. just far enough from the city center to have better rates than the better known hotels, but just a short 10 - 15 walk to all the key city attractions (Vienna Opera House, Imperial Palace, Museum Quarter, Naschtmarket, etc.)

The Hotel Das Tyrol is a lovely boutique hotel just off the main shopping street in Vienna, and close to all the major attractions.

The only drawback, and this is with any boutique hotel in Europe is that the elevator as small and slow,

The hotel is small and the lift is tiny, taking only 3 people at a time.

The hotel is small and quaint, with a tiny elevator rising through the center of an old spiral staircase.

For me, the only downside was the tiny lift

You might actually prefer a lower room floor in this hotel because the elevator is very tiny and slow, and the stairs might be faster.

but they had somehow made room for a small seating area.

It has a relatively small number of rooms (which we like); the one we stayed in (studio) was beutifully appointed and they had really gone for the detail.

I was surprised to receive a room upgrade on my first visit - I mentioned a bathtub during the booking before seeing that small rooms didn't feature one, so I was given a deluxe room instead.

While our room was small for American standards, it was furnished beautifully.

In defense of Das Tyrol, we had just spent six nights in a 2,000 sq ft suite in Prague, so almost any room would have seemed small.

Only 2 criticisms:  the room was very small and wifi was slow.

On the downside, room a bit small, Air-conditioning very feeble, Breakfast expensive at 20 Euro per person so we went elsewhere.

Although the rooms are small, they are beautifully appointed.

We loved the spa, be sure to book it because it’s private.

The free private sauna is an unusual perk, and I wished I had taken advantage of it more than once.

Did we mention we enjoyed our time in the private sauna and steam?

The spa which is booked for exclusive use and complimentary was a real bonus.

The private spa was wonderful, I love the concept of being able to book it for private use.

The hotel has a private spa which is also beautifully decorated in gold and beautiful tiling / lighting, and after a long day of walking and exploring the city, their spa experience simply eases all stresses and tiredness away.

Private sauna, make sure to make a reservation.

Staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and was able to get me a well needed massage the day I checked in.

You have to try their spa, pure moment of relaxation.

Quaint rooms and a private spa to relax after a big day was just what was needed.

This is a small, lovely, unusual hotel in a convenient location that is immaculate, charming and staffed by friendly helpful staff.

Everything was simply perfect, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and exquisitely furnished and decorated.

So, if you need one, the wonderful reception staff will arrange you one - just as they did it for us :) 

This is the only thing one should improve in this beautiful and absolutely unique hotel!

The bathroom has heated floors, a very unique toilet and is just perfect!

The breakfast also had a nod to the Titanic in serving items such as smoked kippers, served on the Titanic at breakfast, as well as a traditional British/Irish fry up, pastries, fruit, cakes, cereal, cold meats etc (which were all very tasty).

Booked a 4 night stay in an executive room.

We booked an executive room and it was badly laid out.

Our first room was a joining room even tho we paid for an executive room this is what we got.

We stayed in an Executive Room Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd Jan.

2 of us booked an Executive Room and found ourselves astonished by how standard it was.

We just visited for the second time and will definitely stay again , a visit to the titanic museum is a must too it’s right beside it, would highly recommend this hotel we stayed in the executive room!

The executive room was great, with a comfortable bed and very welcome antipasti in the room on arrival.

We were on the walking tour from the Titanic museum, it included going inside this iconic building.

Great hotel, literally a stones throw from the titanic museum.

The hotel is right opposite the Titanic museum which is a must do, it is also a very easy walk into the city to enjoy all of the sights, make sure you use the "Hop on hop off" bus it was by far the best we have used in any city.

I can't wait to return to this hotel, highly recommend for a short stay.Right opposite the Titanic museum we found the staff were super friendly and efficient, the food was top class and most of all the hotel was stunning.

I visited this hotel for only 1 night with my 8 year old girl, we were only in Belfast to visit the titanic museum.

We went around the museum building and down the slipways at night when they were lit up and we had the area to ourselves it was amazing.

Our hotel room had a beautiful view of the titanic museum too which lit up at night.

I did get a room with a perfect view of the museum.

We were very fortunate and had a spectacular view of the Titanic Museum from our room.

I chose this hotel because our reason for visiting Belfast was to visit the Titanic Museum.

It was like sleeping in a very romantic museum.

This hotel is suitable for those wishing to visit the Titanic Museum.

The ability to ask any staff member anything weather it’s was the hotel, museum or local area where you can tell they truly cared about your needs is a rare find!

But Harland bar was very poor because staff not properly trained.

We really did feel "poor"  The portions are small

Hotel was very disappointing, quality of the top suite was very poor and we had to move as the windows wouldn’t close and the road noise was horrendous, the next suite was smaller older and in a poor state , no apology or discount was offered , management was practically none existent and staff appeared to have zero training

Bare in mind it was a Sunday evening and the bar was quite so there really was no need for poor service.

The hotel is massively understaffed and pressure levels are displayed by staff members who are working under poor management, impacting the customer experience.

but it appeared to be alot of the rooms had poor views anyways.

WiFi in the room was poor, I put this down to the fact that we were located in a room at the end of the hotel.

The shower in the room was barely more than a trickle - really poor water pressure that night & again in the morning.

Food: This both varied in quality and poor value for money.

but felt so sorry for the poor reception staff who looked like they’d had nothing but complaints.

but all wooden surfaces are marked….curtain hanging off rail….needs a refurb…..poor value for money.

Believe me over the days we stayed in this establishment we heard every excuse going for poor service.

but I was optimistic as reviews written months ago highlighting the repetitive lack of staff and poor service had been responded to by managers with 'we have welcomed some new team members since reopening and training is a real priority'.

Poor service, poor hospitality and certainly a hotel we will strike off our list.

Our stay at Titanic Hotel was poor before we even arrived.

The service in the bar was poor, with staff confusing orders and slow arrival of drinks.
