The hotel was close to a few tube stations, near Petticoat Lane market (1 min walk), Brick Lane and many other interesting places.

We ate at brick lane which again was a short 10 min walk from the hotel.

It's convenient to get to other parts of London from either Aldgate or Liverpool Street underground stations (both very near), as a newish hotel it's in good repair and the prices tend to be a bit less than some of the other central Travelodges.

The location of the hotel is ideal because it is close to the tube station.

This was really close to the tube station and easy enough to get to the palace, Knightsbridge, the museums, tower bridge etc.

The hotel is only a few minutes from Aldgate East station and not far at all from Shoreditch and Liverpool Street.

Fantastic hotel, good position - next to tube station, excellent staff - always very friendly, nice room - large enough for 4 people, very good breakfast and good dinner (I only suggest more veggie pls).

Just a few minutes walk to the tower of London it was a perfect place to stay to watch the marathon.

The only complaint I have about the bathroom was that the shower was pretty narrow, making the shower curtain stick to my skin while I showered (which I know is a pet peeve of many, haha) and it didn't do much in keeping the water in the shower itself and usually the entire bathroom floor got wet while showering.

but there was a privacy film on the inside of the window so no problem with prying neighbours!

Badly stained furniture, carpet stains and filthy room windows are not acceptable at any price point.

I suggested a new policy, where they record who has an iron and allow them a 2 hour window to use and return it - not unreasonable -

but so narrow and I am slim, so anyone slightly larger would struggle,with a grubby shower curtain and a shower head that didn't stay up, the bathroom flooded.

but it made no difference in the room .so we opened the window but it was so noisy at the front of the hotel we gave up and closed it .The air condition unit ran all night, it sounded old and whiney, Not a high end unit just cheap and not very cheerful .

Structure almost new and extremely neglected structure, (stained sheets, always lacking and stained towels, indecent carpet, shower with curtain and not with glass as shown in their own photos).

Cons: There were several minor issues in the room; stains on the carpet; lack of any glasses / beakers if you wanted a drink of water or to stand your toothbrush up; no shower mat and a shower that flooded due to poor shower curtain - both these latter issues were raised with reception and met with the response that 'we don't supply these'. .

but shower leaked all over the floor due to a Poundland style shower curtain.

but with a flimsy curtain that got sucked into the cubicle as you showered.

We were in London on 17th June 2022, when the temperature was in the 30's,  we were in room 530 and the air conditioning wasn't working properly and the window had a safety cord, so wouldn't open wide:  I complained and they gave us a fan.

They work all weekend and are very loud if you want to keep your windows open!

The only issues I had were the window on the room was dirty on the outside and there were marks on the wall.

Windows don't close correctly so the noise from outside makes it almost impossible to get a decent night's sleep.

Yet the cheap curtain constantly get suck inward by the extractor means one have to stand sideway with very limited space, very unpleasant.

The window had no view and was frosted so you could not see in or out.

I was a bit sceptical about shower curtains and indeed it does easily leak into the bathroom.

Nice residential neighborhood and close to the Earl's Court station with two lines.Having the kitchen was great for breakfast and an afternoon cup of tea.

Everyone at The Resident is so friendly and we loved the peaceful neighborhood with great restaurants nearby.

The hotel was clean and well presented- I expected that and the small kitchenette was brilliant for breakfasts and there are plenty of eating places nearby for dinner.

The location was just perfect for us, some lovely pubs and cafes nearby, a three minute walk from earls court station and a quick tube ride on the Piccadilly line to central London.

There are plenty of nearby eating placing and what I also like about this hotel is that it is practical and easy to eat in in in your room if you want to - it has a microwave, sink, utensils, kettle and coffee maker.

The mini-kitchen, hidden behind 'wardrobe' doors is a great asset  and we made good use of this, shopping for our evening meal in the nearby M&S Food Hall.

However, the room was a bit small, as was the bed and unfortunately the AC did not work to its advantage.

The rooms are really small and the bed is more 3 quarter size than double with one side is pushed up to the wall.

We stayed here for 3 nights staying in a first floor room, room was for 3 people and a little bit on the small side, few issues which were sorted straight away by personnel on duty.

Proximity to Earl's Court tube station was a huge plus, giving me direct access to the Piccadilly and District lines and, with transfers, to just about anywhere I wanted to go in London.

Earls Court station is within walking distance and it took only 45 minutes to the airport by train. Amazing!

The staff were lovely and professional, the hotel is very clean in a quiet back street with beautiful houses and squares nearby.

The Nadler Kensington is just one block from the Earl's Court underground station (on the District line which includes Westminster area, St Paul's/The City and Tower of London) making it easy to see anything without the need for a car.

Go for a walk from Tower Bridge (district line from Earl's Court will take you to Tower Hill) crossing to the bank opposite the Tower of London, to take in Borough Market, the shard, the Golden Hind and walk right to Westminster and get the tube back home.

The district line for the underground connect Earls Court Station to the historical places like Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London  and Even as far as Hampton Court.

We are in good shape and workout often so we were able to walk to all the main London sights from the hotel including St. Paul's, The Tower of London, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, etc.

The one complaint I had was the walls are pretty thin - we could hear our upstairs neighbor stomping around all day long.

There must be a good amount of sound deadening in the walls and ceilings because we didn't hear a peep from other rooms.

but we had the view of a brick wall which was disappointing.

It is perhaps still important to know: We only had a bedside table and accordingly only one socket near the bed (there are more in the room) because the bed was against the wall.

What we didn't like about the room was the view of a cement half wall and my wife commented that it always seemed cold.

The standard double bed was pushed up against two walls there was so little room.

The double bed was against the wall on one side which is not so convenient for 2 people.

Unfortunately upon further inspection, the windows were directly behind a wall so that was a bit useless.

Cons: I would say the only negative we encountered was that the walls seem to be a little thin.

We had been given a perfect room, unfortunately with no view (facing a brick wall).

We were very unhappy with that arraignment, and we had no view at all, just a brick wall.

although I personally would not choose it for 2 people as the bed is up against the wall so one of you will have to climb over the other if you need to get up in the night.

but it is up against a wall and only accessible from one side.

also the walls are thin you can hear people walking, the staff are polite and even help me.

The only criticism would be the size of the small double bedrooms which are disappointingly small, one side of the bed being against the wall - it is probably a comfortable single room at best.

The bathroom set up in the smaller room was awkward with the mirror on the wall behind the sink.

Initially had a bad experience with no air conditioning and staff at reception that didn't careless about my complaints.

Air con was not functioning in the room and it was hot and stuffy.

The bathroom was terrible, the service to fix anything was terrible, 
The AC didn't work it was hot and terrible to sleep.

AC in the room did not work properly and kept making sounds all night.

We requested fans for each room as we were prepared for the heat.

There was no air conditioning in the room and the fan in the bathroom did not work.
