She very kindly upgraded us to a bigger room, free of charge, as it was their birthday which was a really lovely touch.

We stayed at this hotel for my birthday for 2 nights, the location is amazing not even a 5 minute walk for the tube and a lovely area, the staff were so lovely and helpful.

As it was my special birthday , my partner  rang in advance and asked for a few special touches.

I booked the hotel for a couple gateway to celebrate my girlfriend birthday.

I booked an overnight stay through "buy a gift" as a special occasion to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

I had mentioned on booking that we were celebrating two Birthdays and when we arrived both rooms were decorated with balloons plus a small box of chocolates.

It was my wife’s birthday and just by looking at a badge she was wearing we were upgraded and had chocolates & Prosecco delivered to the room.

Myself and my partner have experienced extremely high levels of stress and anxiety lately and being his birthday I decided a couple of days away in London would be what we needed to unwind and to treat him and make him feel special.

We visited for 2 nights, one for business and then second was for Adam's birthday.

They accommodated all our needs and even decorated the room for my partner’s birthday!

We stayed at Grand Park hotel for couple of nights for my partner birthday.

Only took us 15-20 minutes to tower bridge by train, 15 to Buckingham Palace.

This hotel is a great location , easy access to the Museums ,Buckingham Palace and Covent Garden.

It's a good 30 minutes into the centre of London by Tube so if you want to walk out of your hotel into Theatre land Buckingham Palace the London Eye and Westminster Abbey this is not the right place to stay.

We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and were amazed at the bedroom being beautifully decorated with red rose petals, heart shaped chocolates and prosecco.

Due to it being our Wedding Anniversary, they upgraded our room and we had Prosecco, chocolate, fruit and soft drinks.

They had decorated the room as a surprise for my wife and left a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates.

In our room was wine and chocolate for our anniversary, a lovely very welcome touch.

That evening the 27 th we went to the theatre and on our return the lady Nelly,behind reception had written us a card,left chocolates and champagne in our room and decorated our bed with swan shaped towels and fans and sprinkled in red petals all complimentary,which made our stay extra special,the staff were lovely we had a lovely selection of hot and cold breakfast which was delicious and next time we stay in London we would 100% stay with them again.Thank you soo much

Staff were so friendly and had put chocolates, balloons and petals etc in our room which made the trip so special.

I mentioned in my booking it was my birthday and when I arrived the lovely hotel staff had decorated my room with balloons and chocolates and complementary wine and cake!

The price was ideal and the staff were great they even gave a complientary bottle of wine with chocolates and decorated the bed with balloons and a card.

They surprised us by upgrading our room and once we got up there were greeted with rose petals, chocolates, wine, and a hand written note welcoming us to the Park Grand.

When I corrected this and apologised for the mistake we returned to a lovely gesture of wine and chocolate with a note wishing us the best for our future.

It was our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday 22nd of October 2021 my parents didn't know what to do so they brought us a gift for the grand park hotel Kensington London for one night we arrived our bags were taken to our room when we arrived in our room our bed was decorated with petals & balloons box of chocolates & a card signedby all staff.

Nothing feels missing, near the Earl's court station, restaurants and Cafe's.

We felt totally welcomed  by all the staff .The hotel is on a faily quiet road about a 3min walk from Earl's Court underground station .South Kensington High Street is about a 12 min walk from the hotel, where there are coffee shops, Kensington Palace Gardens etc,with the museums nearby, so the hotel is in a  good location. .

Kensington High Street, Kensington Palace and Chelsea are all a 15 minute walk from the hotel, and Shepperd's Bush, Notting Hill, South Kensington and Hyde Park are all a half hour walk.

Though the hotel is bit further out, it is still near Kensington Palace, and with the great tube lines you can be anywhere within minutes.

but we were able to leave our bags and go and enjoy time at Kensington Palace which was only a twenty minute walk away and we were thoughtfully supplied with bottled water for our walk.

Two minute walk from Earls  Court tube station and approximately a ten minute walk from Kensington High Street which leads on to Kensington Palace.

They are amazing they are very close to the train station and about a mile from Kensington Palace!

Hotel location is brilliant, easy walk to V&A Natural History Museum and a bit further along Harrods also easy walk to Kensington Palace and gardens, close to Earl’s Court tube or a five minute walk to Gloucester Road tube, bus stops just round the corner from the hotel, would certainly return to this hotel.

It is well serviced by buses and the tube from Earls Court, close to Hyde park and Kensington Palace.

We were sceptical that the room might be small from some reviews,

I phoned as soon as I made my booking as some of the reviews stated the basic rooms were tiny, I had booked a superior room

However, we were placed in an extremely small room in the basement that must have been next to the service closet.

The first impression ( at least for people from US) was that the rooms look small compared to similar hotels in the US.

While the basic double-bed room room is very small, the bath area is just fine.

Only thing, for the price you pay, rooms are really tiny.

· Our first room was so small that to get into the bed by turning sideways ans squeezing between the bed and the wardrobe.

The lobby area reeked of deep fried cooked food and cigar smell.

The entire hotel smells strongly of industrial cleaning solvent, the furniture was chipped, paint was peeling off the walls and the neighbourhood felt sketchy, especially at night.

Our room was so filthy; trash under the bed, hair in the shower, dusty all over and carpet needs major washing.

Hotel is looking tied in some areas, local repairs have been bodged rather that using tradesman, example proper cleaning of scale from shower screen and very poor silicone / seal repairs, the standard of repairs it not what you would expect in a hotel of this calibre, also cheap toiletries used we had to purchase our own toilet paper as the provided is cheap and nasty.

Our main contact, Anna, was very helpful and made our change of room (due to our original one being claustrophobic and too cold with damp sheets) seamless and problem-free.

Noisy and filthy and we’re expected to pay for things that were put on our room when we were not even checked in. !

Our room also had a shower tray that didn’t drain and risked flooding the bathroom , extremely EXTREMELY noisy air conditioning which meant you lay awake sweating underground or you lay awake because of the noise .

There was also dried urine on the inside of the toilet seat.

The other and we had smelt very strongly of smoke, and the corridor outside our room smelt very strongly of cannabis on the first night.

but on closer inspection grubby ( Unpolished glass etc) Filthy lift.

The carpet was disgusting with stains and parts of the carpet were actually ripped off the floor.

Room stayed in was not very clean, pillows are awful and had seen better days, no cups to make drinks, and the bathroom was disgusting mould all in the shower, wouldn’t stay here ever again, worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time very disappointed

Only disappointment was the breakfast the full English wasn’t great  it tasted stale, and the continental breakfast never arrived.

Even the porter said it was strong (I have a very sensitive smell so not everyone finds smells as strong as I do).

but the driver was smelly and the taxi dirty and he tried to charge me.

One night stay, staff couldn't do enough, from the second we walked through the door to the second we left, will definatley book again next time we are in the big smoke.

Overall, a pleasent stay and the staff were brilliant

We were impressed with the excellent service from Rohan, who helped us with kindness and a smile in everything we needed.

We just got home from a four day stay in the Park Grand, the only positive I can say is it was very close to underground station and some of the staff were nice/helpful.

We had booked this hotel through Hotels.Com and being Vip members the expectation was a modern, clean, professionally managed hotel with all the basic amenities that would be expected in a 4 star rated hotel.

Other than this, the stay was fine and I must say the staff couldn't do enough for us

For starters, the location near Earl’s Court station is very convenient, especially to get to and from the airport (at most times of day).

The earls court tube station was only a 2 minute walk away from the hotel it allowed us to get a direct tube to Piccadilly circus for the theatre (Piccadilly line) and direct to Wimbledon (district Line) Our room was very clean and spacious.

Very close to Earls Court station and you are less than a mile away from the very charming Kensington Garden.

but pretty dirty ( mostly the walls, the windows and the furniture).

I felt a little unsafe with just myself and my daughter there to expect to sleep while the door had open access and a wall facing which anyone could climb over.

however, it only had  a small 1/2 size window about 10 feet up one wall so there was basically NO natural light.

I arrived at the property in a hurry, was given a room facing a brick wall.

We stayed here in February, paid almost £200 for one night and was given a room with a window with a view of a wall  and not a very clean room.

The walls had marks on them and wallpaper had rips in it, even in the lobby area.

Also the walls are thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were saying to each other.

- Button feature on the wall that indicates whether you want to have housekeeping or are asleep and to not be disturbed; the house keeping never disturbed us.

The bed nearly touched wall to wall with limited room to move around

It was VERY small with only a small space between the bed and the walls.

The walls are super thin, and people seem to like to have parties in their rooms at 2am which is fun to wake up to.

The noise was a sometimes a loud as a bass what let the wall vibrating indeed.

The shower pressure wasn't great and it was too close to the walls meaning we had to stand very close almost touching the shower walls to get under the shower head properly.

but for some reason there was a ladder against the wall outside my room for the entire duration of my stay, at the front of the hotel, easily reaching the top of my window.

though room view was a brick wall with some windows in.

Of course, the whole convo bounced off the walls of the adjoining buildings and they had the whole neighborhood out of bed (and at their windows and doors) at 3 am in the morning for the performance.

A very short walk to Buckingham palace and shopping!

Tube is so easy, 10 mins into Victoria which is close to Buckingham palace.

to get to Buckingham palace by myself, I would think with a bigger room you would get a better view ?

The district line for the underground connect Earls Court Station to the historical places like Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London  and Even as far as Hampton Court.

We are in good shape and workout often so we were able to walk to all the main London sights from the hotel including St. Paul's, The Tower of London, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, etc.

The location was convenient to what we wanted to do in our 18 hour stay, which was to see Harrods store and Buckingham Palace.

The hotel was clean and well presented- I expected that and the small kitchenette was brilliant for breakfasts and there are plenty of eating places nearby for dinner.

The location was just perfect for us, some lovely pubs and cafes nearby, a three minute walk from earls court station and a quick tube ride on the Piccadilly line to central London.

There are plenty of nearby eating placing and what I also like about this hotel is that it is practical and easy to eat in in in your room if you want to - it has a microwave, sink, utensils, kettle and coffee maker.

The mini-kitchen, hidden behind 'wardrobe' doors is a great asset  and we made good use of this, shopping for our evening meal in the nearby M&S Food Hall.
