 - but the rooms are small - really quite small, and the double bed occupies almost the whole room - perfectly fine for a couple of nights, but too cramped for much longer.
 - but that wasn’t a problem, It’s a boutique hotel so small is often the way and it was nicely decorated throughout in the main including the rooms, but once we walked in, we were amazed that the small, tight theme continued - the rooms were tiny!
 - The room was small and it felt like a two star hotel!
 - but the room was very small, tiny bathroom, the bed was not as described, nor were the pillows.
 - As you would expect, the rooms are small,

 - Also had a drink in the artesian which is always a delight .Well done.
 - We were overwhelmed by the staff at The Langham, from the Doorman, Reception, The Lounge, Palm Restaurant and the Artesian Bar the service was exceptional
 - We had drinks several times at the Artesian Bar.
 - Excellent gym, spa and swimming pool + get a drink at the Artesian Bar + try the 'Toasties' at the Wigmore!
 - Having access to the Club Lounge which we used as a base was a great benefit and visits to the busy Wigmore & Artesian venues were memorable.

 - The staff goes above and beyond.
 - It's about care, about understanding what would draw a smile in guests faces.
 - Instead of getting ‘old’ ones, the gentleman got on the phone and said the chef will make you some fresh ones!
 - Our suite was perfect in every detail and nothing was too much trouble for the staff looking after it and us.
 - The people that work here deserve a special mention as they really do make the hotel such a great place to stay and relax, so welcoming and nothing is to much trouble.

 - Finally, the lifts to the rooms are very small and tight and can only take three people at most, excluding luggage - take note if several of you are coming together.
 - The rooms could be a bit small.
 - Bathroom is way too big for small rooms.
 - Also the changing rooms rather small.

 - They showered us with balloons, flowers, champagne, chocolates, and great service.
 - We sat and drank champagne until our room was ready.
 - We arrived early for our check-in which was no problem, our luggage was taken and we were escorted to the Langham club lounge where we were waited on with Champagne and snacks until our room was ready.
 - The Langham Club is a oasis of calm in the center of London and we spent many hours here reading, relaxing and of course partaking in the Champagne and cocktails that the staff were always ready to provide.
 - The teas and champagne all very good.

 - I couldn’t justify spending the extra for an executive room and use of the club lounge.
 - The staff went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and special, and the Club Lounge was wonderful.
 - We chose an Executive Room so that we were able to make use of the Langham Club Lounge and it was absolutely worth it - we spent our entire time in there and it was great to have somewhere to relax and spend time other than your own room.
 - The Club Lounge is the perfect place to find tranquility throughout the day, the Afternoon Tea at the Palm Court restaurant is a true experience (reserve in advance!).

 - 1377 had a panoramic view of the Thames, Palace of Westminster (Parliament/Big Ben), the Big Wheel and Westminster Bridge.
 - We were celebrating a family christening at St James Palace over the weekend therefore we wanted to stay somewhere that was in keeping with a special occasion and relatively close to St James Palace.
 - The room was lovely and clean with views over the Thames towards the Palace of Westminster.
 - Great room great hotel and location not far to walk to Lambeth Palace and the London Eye.

 - Also in walking distance to Buckingham palace.
 - Circa 25 mins to Buckingham Palace, 25 to Waterloo.
 - It is easy to walk across the bridge to Westminster to visit major sights such as Buckingham Palalce, the Houses of Parliament (Big Ben is currently hidden behind scaffolding), Churchill's War Rooms, and St Jame's Park, to name a few.
 - location was great, where you can walk to London eye in 5 min time and another 20 min to Buckingham palace.
 - We found the hotel to be fairly centrally located and not too far to walk most places, including Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, London Eye, St. Pauls, & Westminster Cathedral.

 - The view from our room was of the Thames River.
 - And the view was just spectacular.
 - I upgraded my room for the view when I arrived and I highly recommend you do the same.
 - I booked a one bedroom river view balcony suite and when we walked into the room (1371) the view was fantastic.

 - This time we requested a room with a view of Parliament and was not available so I had to pay extra.
 - however I asked whether the air conditioning could be fixed and was given a blunt ‘no’ and left with the fan.
 - I couldn't even flag anyone down to request things like pepper or a water refill.
 - But because I’m not confrontational, I’ve asked for a quieter and secluded area, which I received.
 - I phoned prior to our stay to request the Westminster view (the only reason I upgraded to the river view suite) i was told that I had that room, when I turnt up this was not the case which left me very annoyed.

 - The views over the Thames and Houses of Parliament were incredible and we really enjoyed having the balcony to get a good view of the city.
 - Lovely views over towards Houses of Parliament
 - We were then checked into our lovely room overlooking the river and Houses of Parliament by the friendly reception team.
 - but looking out towards the Houses of Parliament from our 9th floor room window was very special.
 - The location of the hotel on the river with great views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament meant we were close to all attractions for fun and then relax with a walk along the river.

 - While I could "technically" see the Thames, I would not call it a "Thames View", since I had to stand right at the window and crane my neck in order to see an approximately 30 foot stretch of the river.
 - but this was several times we were left frustrated not including when the phone kept ringing out when we would try to get in touch with reception in the morning and evening time and I wanted everything perfect for this trip.
 - I didn't know if the employee had just conned me so I phoned room service and was made to feel stupid by the man on the phone and as if it was my fault for simply reading the prices you put in the menu .
 - Get a “courtesy call” every day asking if there’s anything I need which I clearly don’t.
 - i was also asked to oy for a local uk call and when i ordered a fork to my room i was asked to pay for it!!!!!
