It's conveniently located on 54th right off Broadway,about 5 blocks south of Columbus Circle and Central Park, and about 5 blocks north of Times Square.

The breakfast is also great and it’s a short walk to Central Park and Times Square, in addition to the various subway stations and buses.

It is a short walk to Central Park, Times Square, the theater district, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State building, shopping and restaurants.

My wife & I were in NY on 7/20/23 & had a fantastic experience at the Residence Inn Central Park.

As 3 females travelling we always felt safe here - Central Park was 10 minutes one way and Times Square was 10 minutes the other way, it's a perfect location.

We stayed on the 48th floor and enjoyed a great view of Central Park and the Hudson River. 7.

It was south of Central Park and North of Times Square, close to Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Centre.

As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I received a complimentary upgrade to a corner room with the view described above.

Particular shout out to Anca who, via a request from a friend who used to work there,  helped us secure a high floor corner room which was amazing - it couldn't have been easy to do this given the demand for these rooms

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and appreciated the young lady called Gen at the front desk arranging for a great corner room with a view.

We had a corner room with incredible views.

I even asked if he was able to get me a corner room (they have an amazing view) and he found one for me and I was even able to check in earlier than the 4 pm check in time.

Rooms were not smaller than any of the 4* in NYC I would typically default to, fantastic view from 57th floor corner room, well maintained, great kitchen equipment, quiet, comfortable beds (we had 2 rooms and they were both really nice and good standard).

(65th Floor is the highest) 

I booked a Grand Times Square View room, which is a great corner room.

The corner room was very nice with fantastic view.

Both the day and night views from my 38th floor corner room were spectacular.

It was a corner room with spectacular views.

Will definitely stay again in hopes, next time, of getting that corner room or Times Square view that I was hoping for this time!

We were upgraded to a corner room with panoramic views from Central Park to Times Square to the Hudson.

We went to our room which was a corner room on the 42nd floor.

Michael upgraded us to one of the top floor, corner room, king suites declaring it was the biggest room they had!

Was able to score an upgraded corner room with great views of Central Park and the Hudson River.

We were a little concerned about reading reviews about the elevators

at least the elevators don't seem to get used much after about 11pm.

We had a room right by the elevator and I wondered if we would hear it,

The hotel's facilities are ok. As other people mentioned, the elevators can be slow,

The Awful: 

Door slamming at all hours and the lift was incredibly noisy.

We were shown to the lifts and headed to the 53rd floor.

Sheets are tattered and stained, not enough personnel to change sheets, service is lacking, cleanliness is an issue in the bathroom and for some reason on 62nd floor the elevator sounds like the clanging of a rollercoaster …shouldn’t that concern management?..

We only had to wait a while on one occasion for the lift.

If you like a room where you do not get much sleep due to the loud elevators constantly running this is your place to stay.

The broadcast message when from a leak to Massive Leak to Leak - confusing
          Did not mention that the front desk and lobby were significantly impacted by the 
          leak
          NO updates were provided on the timeline for elevator service restoration were 
          ever mentioned.

Just be prepared for several lift stops sometimes as there are many floors.

The elevator are crazy fast and also during rush hour you manage to get up or down in a reasonable amount of time. Can’t wait to come back (I will!!!)

The four lifts were quick and never took long to arrive, despite the hotel being very busy (I heard one of the guys on reception informing a walk up that they had no rooms left).

Elevators sometimes had long wait times in the morning and late afternoon.

We were on the 59th floor so we did have to wait for and in elevators a lot,

(All their rooms are on higher levels so if you're afraid of heights or going on elevators that go high floors do not recommend)

Tip for drivers!

Agreed it’s in a wonderful location at the top of Times Square,

but just know its for the location and views.

The midtown location was excellent, with restaurants and a supermarket just a block away.

Location: The hotel is close to nearly everything you'd want to see in Midtown - Times Square, Central Park, Broadway, Rockefeller Center.

The location is fantastic. On the last day the taxi didn't turn up to take us to the airport & the lady on reception (Wioleta?)

The best location, wonderful modern room with a view, excellent breakfast with plenty of healthy choices.

Other than that the location is great on the edge of Hell's kitchen and close to Times square.

Although we were not in town for theater, the location can't be beat.

We had a room on the 64th floor, which we realised was the second highest hotel floor in the entire USA.

Our room on the 60th floor was ready for us when we got there at around noon.

I had a room on the 59th floor with panoramic views of the city.

The receptionist (super friendly and very accommodating) told us there was a room on the 38th floor - beautiful room ~ I passed on that room and told her we would wait until 4pm for a higher floor.

Stayed for 5 nights, had a great room on the 41st floor, great views times square to the right, central park to the left.

At check-in Pamela assisted in orchestrating a surprise: a two-bed room on the 65th floor.

My room on the 64th floor was clean, had a well equipped kitchen, and the view was spectacular!

The corner rooms have floor to ceiling windows and you get the best view of NYC.

Excellent location, half way between Central Park and Times Square and our room on the 50th floor had a partial view of both.

I had a room on the 51st floor with a great view.

Early check in was cool, we got here at 1130 am and they had a room for us on the 63rd floor with a city view.

From your 60-something floor room, you can see Times Square, downtown and NJ.

We had a corner room on the 44th floor which had spectacular views.

With only a few rooms on each floor and so high up, it was completely quiet during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful with many healthful items (contrary to reports in other reviews!)

The building itself is very high, they claim the highest hotel in the USA, and our room had a great view.

The view from the room is amazing and you can see both the Hudson river and Times Square.

Our room was as small as a closet literally about 10x10 with the bed encompassing the entire room except for an over large chair.

though the rooms are a bit small, the finishes and the storage areas make up for it.

The room was very small, with just a plush armchair and a desk in the combined bed/living area. There is no stove in the kitchenette (though hot plates might be available)

It's NYC so your hotel room will be small in comparison to Residence Inn's around the country.

The rooms are on the small side (which is not unusually for NYC)

That room was really small for two people.

While the room is very small, the storage layout helps make the room size ok. Another reason we booked the hotel is because it has kitchenette in the room and laundry facilities in the hotel.

We had a corner on the 48th floor that overlooked the "ball drop" tower in Times Square with Central Park views in the distance. Wonderful!

It was walking distance to most of midtown, Columbus circle, MOMA, Times Square, the park, etc.

And the views of the Hudson river in Times Square were beautiful.

The view was incredible of Times Square and we spent hours just gazing out!

The Times Square and port views were amazing in our room, and the kitchen was very well appointed.

The location is perfect, near a lot of attractions and subways near by with Times Square only being a couple of minutes walk away.

The room was very comfortable and the views could not be beat.

The views from this hotel on the highest floors are spectacular.

The breakfast and afternoon snack buffets were amazing.

The breakfast spread is huge and the dinner buffet also is large.

Level lounge at the ground floor offered a peaceful environment for breakfast and a break.

Buffet breakfast was great,lots of choices.I loved the coffee We were HB and had not realized that it was Al a Carte for Dinner and did not start till 9pm.

The area has buffet food and drink available for free during certain hours and you can have your breakfast there.

We had breakfast each morning in the Mosaico buffet restaurant.

with the availability of being able to have cook-to-order omelettes etc..  Like to thank the staff in the Level Lounge – Carmen, Estrella, Jaun and Isa for all their professionalism and friendly help.

Breakfast was good and the seating areas lovely.

Great room, fabulous breakfast, smashing location and to top it all off - a delightful pool and pool bar.

Breakfast was very comprehensive & plentiful.

Breakfast was nice and fresh fruit and orange juice extra tasty!

Breakfast was served from 7-11 am and a lovely smiley  lady ( Patricia ) served our individually cooked breakfast each morning.

Having access to The Level perks was really helpful- it included breakfast with selection of fruits, cheeses, breads and made-to-order pancakes, waffles, churros, omelettes.

Breakfast was good and it was nice after a hot day out to be able to go to The Level lounge and have a refreshing drink and a snack or two.

It offered breakfast, tapas and drinks throughout the day.

The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was AMAZING.

Carmen the Guest Relations Manager at the Level Lounge was always at hand when assistance wa required.

The check in lady Carmen is fantastic, she’s courteous and warm.

Check in at the level lounge by Carmen was very efficient and she remembered us from previous visits.

The Level concierges are knowledgeable, extremely helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and Carmen deserves a special mentioning.

but special mention must be made of Carmen on the Level reception desk and Elena, who served in the restaurant adjacent to the lounge.

but I’d particularly like to mention Carmen who couldn’t do enough for the guests.

Our room was spotless clean and very comfortable peaceful and quiet, thanks to  Nurie and Carmen they are amazing and great services in the level reception.The hotel is in great location and walking distance to most attractions would highly recommend this hotel,by the way Nurie we bought the fruits sugar apple.

Carmen was very helpful and friendly thought our visit.

although large was completely soulless and was basically very clinical with not even a lamp just overhead spotlights and very bright reading lights.

The lights would turn on when some walked down the hall, BUT , you would have to go almost to the end of the hall for the lights to come on, at night it was very dark

but if you opt of a family room you will get a pokey end room with little window light.

but far too much light passes through them.

Bathroom had dark tiles which were depressing with poor lighting.

However, the lighting in the room was over complicated.

Lighting in room was a mystery to us - a bit gimmicky = switches seemed to turn off different lights in different parts of the room and the bedside reading lights were very poorly positioned. Bathroom poorly designed - two sinks (why?)

In summary:

Dimmed light in the rooms

And the flashing light on the ceiling above the bed was very disturbing (don't stay in the 'romantic' room on the 3rd floor).

Melia hotel Seville is conveniently centrally located

staff are warm and welcoming, pool area is cool, location is okay, it's a fair walk to the markets etc,

The location is great for the Plaza de España

We had a great stay at the Melia Seville- whilst from the outside the building looks a bit dated, it is well located, has a range of high-quality facilities and friendly staff members.

The hotel is in a very good location for the centre of Seville and several attractions.

The location is great, walking distance to the centre, easy access to the tram, near the park.

The location is great, and the taxi rank right outside the hotel is handy.

The location is good, it's about a 10min walk to the Plaza, 3mins to the supermarket around the corner (has an ATM), and 10-15 mins to the nearest Starbucks :)

I have to say the hotel is in a good position to explore Seville and the pool is a welcome visit late afternoon as we did to escape the hot evenings.

This hotel has a nice location and close to football.

I chose this hotel predominantly for location as I was running the Seville marathon, and at the same time it is convenient for the city centre.

Location wise also, near old town is a better location.

The hotel is located next to the Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park.

For other meals we ate out in the Old Town (about a 20-minute walk) and the trendy Triana district (reachable by taxi or by taking the Metro from San Bernardo to Plaza de Cuba).

Spent four nights in a Level Junior Suite which had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the Plaza Espania.

Best room views are on 9th floor facing west towards the plaza Espana.

Excellent location only 50 meters from plaza espana.
