 - Book a Rock Royalty room which gives you access to the Rock Royalty lounge, this came in very handy as my husband had an appointment to go to so I was able to stay in the lounge until our room was ready.
 - but I mostly got lucky with larger rooms which were very comfy.
 - Many thanks to Jakub who made us very welcome and organized some little gifts for our room- you made our stay just fabulous.
 - Absolutely brilliant stay, our room was so clean.
 - The staff is very nice, check-in and check out was very smooth, rooms are spacious and well equipped.

 - So after a £2,000 stay we had to pay and additional £120 + VAT for our suitcases for x2 nights.

 - but the flight of stairs is very steep and not the easiest to navigate during the night if you required the downstairs bathroom.

 - but after a brief hold the intercom just reverts back to you with no staff available and no one bothers calling me back.
 - No phone in the rooms so had to go down with a baby from the 6th floor, every time something was required.

 - When I got in the lift to go to my room, I found the sign in the lift had been defaced with expletives and no attempt to put it right.
 - While we did not hear much noise in the hotel there were several young men wandering around - and using the lifts - without masks.
 - These guests refused to wear masks including in the lifts, when they could of waited for another lift or even took the stairs.

 - I talked to staff about the issue 4 times and were completely unhelpful, each time saying they fixed it and if it didnt work, just call them back and they’ll fix it for real… Well, never happened.
 - Was then fobbed off by a male receptionist who was rude and extremely unhelpful, would expect a certain level of customer service from a ‘4-star’ hotel, including help to find a new room instead of being dismissed with a phone number to ring myself.

 - Sure enough, a camp bed arrived, converting a small twin room into a crowded 3-bed room, so crowded in fact the wardrobe doors couldn’t be opened.
 - The doors have an automatic closing system and the knocks are not avoided by the cleaning staff, causing ''door slamming'' that make it impossible for those who need to rest to sleep. Unfortunate.
 - however, someone in the room next door having some sort of bronchitis attack or something and the constant cough was a) loud and b) stomach churning.

 - There were few minor issues with the room, such as the mini-fridge not being cold enough,
 - The floor in the bathroom was very cold,
 - Unfortunately this was not possible in the bathroom, which was incredibly cold!
 - We couldn't get the heater to work though, so it was a little cold esp since it was winter.
 - The only thing I would suggest is for there to be breakfast options within the hotel and probably to install a heater in the bathrooms as they can quite cold during the winter months.

 - Also the door to the room needs more sound protection; it felt like people outside were in our room.

 - The phone and TV remotes were filthy and clearly had not been cleaned for a while which was surprising post covid.
 - but the bread was stale or had been taken out of the fridge .It was brought to the attention of the maitre de who said it would be brought to the attention of the chef.
 - when I noticed the person opposite me had a dirty glass, lipstick and smudges, yuck!
 - You can see and smell that it is burnt so why choose to serve it?
 - Very noisy due to cars coming & going & people standing below talking & smoking at all hours .Have never encountered such a rude Manager with a bad attitude as at breakfast on day one & two of my stay .My hot breakfast arrived

 - Almost hit the mark had it not been for an uncomfortable night sleep.
 - The 3rd and 4th accomodations are single small sofa beds extremely uncomfortable and you have the risk of having also a camping mattress.
 - Our bed was horrendously uncomfortable.
 - but the Hotel was disappointing and very overpriced, Couldn't even get IN the room with our luggage, no where to put it, crawled over it, put one in bathroom, could barley walk around bed, I was very disappointed and uncomfortable for a three day stay.

 - GETTING THERE It's very simple to get to the hotel from Heathrow - we got the Heathrow express to Paddington station and then the tube to Tottenham Court Road (TCR).
 - From Heathrow we reached the hotel via the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then the underground to Oxford Circus, within comfortable walking distance of the hotel.

 - The staff were very attentive and provided a complimentary bottle of wine when they discovered it was our anniversary and gave us invaluable tips on places to eat.
 - I chose this hotel because it offered a room with a little kitchenette which I love having when I’m traveling so I don’t have to eat every meal out.

 - Disappointed that there was no window view for the cost, just a cramped weird courtyard on the basement level, so the room was dark and kind of gloomy The complementary cocktail hour was nice
 - I would also say that the hotel is very dark.
 - We had a ground floor room which was far too dark. It was in an absolute nightmare when getting ready (this is why I only gave 4 stars)
 - but not too late….. definitely would benefit from black out blinds or curtains for those of us who like the dark but that’s the only mild negative 😊
 - The rooms were a little small for what we paid and very dark not much day light getting in at all, the bed was really comfortable and our room very quiet.

 - We are also unable to open the windows for any airflow which led to a rather restless sleep throughout the night.
 - Hottest day of the year & aircon broken, reported 3 times nothing done and kept tripping, had to have windows open just for air next to busy main road in London which meant loud noise so no sleep.
 - With four of us in a very small room and no window that would open, we didn’t sleep very well for the first two nights.
 - Problems, 2nd bed not made up, I ordered a twin room, Room hot and stuffy as window would not open Air conditioning unit on 19, blowing out cold air if you stood by it

 - She did her best to find us rooms even before the official check in time, as we arrived a little bit earlier, which was very nice.

 - The hotel room size was amazing and we were blown away considering we normally stay at 4 or 5 star hotels and those family rooms are tiny compared to this.
 - although all of the stay has been wonderful so far (lovely room, great location, fabulous choice at breakfast) just wanted to give huge appreciation for a lovely act of kindness by the female receptionist.

 - There was a around 8 people waiting to check in
 - On return still not all rooms were available till 1.30am with my guests having to wait in reception.
 - No one appears to know what they are doing apart from Michelle who ran round trying to ensure everyone was ok. We waited 2 hours for our meals, others in the restaurant got take-aways and one regular person told us it was the real Fawlty Towers.

 - Only 1 USB port lights wasn’t adequate for the room, overall poor standard.
 - The toilet seat hinges broken and poor bathroom very worn.
 - Hotel needs a general modernisation, Facilities are very dated and very poor.
