Beach bar was great and I found the lazy river such fun and relaxing too.

Leydi was the best waitress on the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In addition we really appreciated Daniel (el captain) in the beach club restaurant.

Jose, the bartender at the pool bar at the beach club was the absolute best and provided top service to my family and I.

Throughout the day you have: the main buffet, steakhouse buffet, Brazilian buffet, beach bbq, beach buffet & grab and go pizzas (also the ice cream parlour & coffee shop).

Then the wind changed direction and it was a different beach.

but no space in the beach and the swimming pools.

The pools were great, I see a lot of people write bad reviews about the beach.

Snorkeling was great right off the beach.

Beaches were awesome, a little rocky; you can walk barefoot in the sand, just not in certain areas.

Exceptional service friendly staff and very personable and friendly and funny great food full of flavour amazing drinks beautiful beach clean rooms beautiful landscaping lots of iguanas and monkeys rooms are big and the drinks are really good

There’s so many different birds, including pelicans on the beach, it’s amazing.

We moved from pool each day, one day at quiet pool by beach, next at active pool by steak house then next active pool by Brazilian restaurant.

My older girls enjoyed a couple of days at the kids club my husband and I loved the beach especially the lagoon side.

The beaches we’re overran with seaweed and the whole resort smelt like a sewage back up.

Other 5* resorts we have stayed at in this area of Mexico have been like Buckingham Palace compared to here.

I cant say how much I appreciated his efforts and care for our table and everyone around him - The meal was exceptional, authentic, mexican had and having him as a waiter made the experience even that much better.

From freshly grilled meats, to sushi, to Mexican dishes - we also found something to enjoy.

And the mexican was ok, not terrific, I was really hoping for some amazing Mexican,

We ate at the Mexican restaurant which everyone thought it was okay.

Food - huge choice of variety and the meals we had out were fantastic, the best one was Mediterranean, our least favourite was the Thai and Mexican, I thought the Mexican would be more authentic given we were in Mexico.

Breakfast was brilliant; can’t fault it really it has a great selection and plenty of options (there are 3 places to eat breakfast) 

Lunch we tended to use the beach BBQ which is ok and has the same options everyday of Mexican tacos and salads and burgers (kids happy with this) 
Pizza to takeaway from Italian was very good!

Had better steaks, in Mexican,Italian and Mediterainean.

I would highly recommend the Mediterranean, Japanese and Brazilian restaurants, and advise you avoid the French and Mexican ones (note.

We especially enjoyed the Mediterranean and Mexican where we once again had exceptional service by Javier and Jeremiah.

We eat at the Mexican the Brazilian the Thai and the steak house as well.

We really enjoyed the Grease show and the Mexican folklore.

Great selection of traditional Mexican food.

We did the Mediterranean (absolutely delicious food), Steakhouse (excellent as well and servers so happy and joyful) and the Mexican (not very good, food was disappointing, even the Margaritas we ordered were not drinkable).

Lorena gets extra marks for toiling away under the hot Mexican sun, tray fully loaded at all times.

Ate at the Japanese, Mexican, steak house, italian, thai and Brazilian.

However the Italian, Mexican and Mediterranean food were amazing.

The Japanese and Brazilian we really enjoyed, the steak house wasn’t very nice and the Mexican we did on my bday night and considering this was their own cuisine we were very disappointed.

The shows vary from Broadway, Mexican, rock,  70s fever, grease etc which are very entertaining and very good (Alejandro from entertainment).

We have previously stayed on the Riviera Maya at Viva Wyndham Maya, Iberostar Quetzel and Riu Palace so feel we have a good idea of the hotels in the area.

We moved after the 1st week to RIU Palace, Mexico in Playacar it was like being in another world.

As a comparison I have stayed at Moon Palace in Cancun prior to this, and Grand Sirenis is above and beyond Moon Palace by far.

We organised to move hotels and moved to the moon palace in Cancun which was amazing - we had to pay a lot extra for this -

I'd previously stayed in the Moon Palace, Bahia Principe and Occidental Xcaret.

This year, we tried the Grand Sirenis because we already went to Iberostar Maya and Barcelo Palace Deluxe twice.

Our second time at the restaurant in our 14days here, amazing waiter Carlos & manager couldn’t have done enough for us.

The food at the italian restaurant was great!

Mayrani the chef is an amazing cook the beef was to die for would have it again starter was Mediterranean salad waiter was very helpful and polite dessert is delicious I would love to come to the Mediterranean restaurant again

Thai and Brazilian restaurants are a must - gorgeous food

The restaurant was great, the food came out lovely and quick and was full of flavour, reminded me of my time in Thailand.

There is only 2 things that could be improved the thai restaurant food was so good & tasty

Food was adequate, with a few surprise standouts -- arroz negro, pozole, and a lovely spinach soup at the Italian restaurant.

Activities for kids were ok.  Food average for an Hotel 5Stars charging more than 350Usd a room.

The buffet was really good, the Mediterranean restaurant was great, the Brazilian one could have had some more flavour!!

Staying at grand serenis at the moment..lovely hotel..can't fault a thing apart from the disregard from the staff about gluten free..I'm easy to please so long as I have something basic to eat..there is no allergy charts at the late night snack restaurant and because they make money on room service after 11pm they are only interested in that..the chef has told me everything has gluten in it and has shrugged his shoulders!

The pools also have hamburgers and hot dogs as well.

There was an unfortunate sewage smell sometimes,

You had to walk down a flight of stairs and through the lobby to go pee.

It is dirty, smells, and the workers are very incompetent.

Her and her friend were stuck in a nasty  room for over 7 hours before they finally moved them, after both her and I calling constantly.

The last two days there it got better and the smell was bearable

but it had a musty smell to it and is long overdue a refurb.

The room itself was so stuffy that the smell of mildew was overwhelming.

Also for some reason - each time we came back into our room, it always smelled like pee.

It has got to the point where we can’t even face walking into the restaurant because of the smell.

The room was dirty when we arrived - floors hadn’t been swept (we took videos) and the shower floor was filthy.

The room key didnt work so no electric, we was stood around in the dark damp and cold as we had major delays at Cancun airport and we had been in torrential rain.

Water is clear, no weeds, no smell like on some other resorts.

When we were here the seaweed was horrible…to the point that there was no one even on the beach or in the water and it had an odor to it.

But for someone who hasn't been during a bloom, the smell is overpowering in some areas; However this is not a Grand Sirenis problem.

One of the outlet doesn't work, drain was blocked and toilet has its own distinct smell.

Seaweed- it was so bad that it stunk up the entire beach and no one was near it.

This was our first spa experience and it was lovely - we had a couples Swedish massage & then a facial each, followed by hydrotherapy.

Spa is a must do, recommend the hydrotherapy and if you’re up for it, the massage as well.

Many pools, lazy river, amazing spa and daily dolphin show at no charge.

I went to the spa and tried the water therapy and it was so relaxing, you gotta try it.

The spa is world class and definitely worth a visit for at least the hydrotherapy circuit.

The spa with hydrotherapy was absolutely stunning and the most beautiful spa I’ve ever seen!

The spa juice bar at the beach was my go-to for smoothies with fresh fruit.

Also I would advise paying for any spa treatments prior to check out as we had a right nightmare with that too.

We thought we’d use the spa as we like to spa back in the UK,

Extras: I had a facial in the spa cost about £60 and my son did a shallow skuba dive approx £120, where he saw moray eel and sun fish.

Also, off in the distance you can see that they added on an entire section for members by the spa.

At the spa we had Carmen + Elena do our hair and makeup they are awesome did an amazing job.

You can swim with dolphins, go to the spa, snorkel or even scuba dive!!

Pool and restaurant, beach, concierge, bar, gardeners, maintenance, tour guides, lobby, dolphin, spa, bellboys, drivers, shows, YOU’RE DOING GREAT!

He was very welcome he was the best entertainer got me and my family involved in every game and made us feel apart off everything that was going on and so polite we won some very good prizes we would come back again just for him I wish we could have stayed longer with him we will

Also, our server David was gery attentive to our request and was great with pacing all the food we ordered cause we wanted to try a little bit if everything.

All their best English speaking folks were in the ultimate club.

I would like to recognise Dara’s job on pool 3 she was always smiling and making a good aqua gym class, we really enjoyed it 👍 she was so helpful and friendly , also she gave us attention of anything we need

Brilliant holiday and staff so friendly especially dara, Andy all the entertainment team were really great at there jobs all very professional and got the crowd going.

The staff work endlessly and mostly greet you, what is helpful is that there is a concierge desk along every other block.

Our waiter Santos was also very friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations on our meal.

Wanted to give a shout out to all of the staff at the resort

This resort feels very chilled out, and everyone is so welcoming.

The resort has a very positive feel to it, the staff for the most part seem genuinely happy and helpful.

Staff was uniformly gracious and helpful -- does help if you speak Spanish,

The staff are all great, especially Raul the golf cart driver!!!!

We tried the steakhouse, Thai, Japanese & Brazilian and would definitely recommend the Japanese.

We didn’t like the Thai a la carte restaurant because the food was mediocre

We went to the steakhouse  Italian Thai and Japanese restaurants all great food.

The Thai restaurant was just ok. Because it was our 25th wedding anniversary we asked for an extra al la carte and we chose the Mediterranean.

We had Japanese; Italian, Thai and Mediterranean!

I actually wished I picked Japanese or Thai.

We ate at the steak house, Japanese and Thai, they were all great

but not quality cuts), Brazilian (tough not good meat) and the Thai (probably the best of the 4).

That being said, the Al La Carte meals we had (Thai, Med, Japanese & Brazilian) were certainly a 5 Star experience & exceeded our expectations with great food, presentation & service.

Special mention to Carlos in the steak house, Thomas in the Mexican, max in the Thai and Abraham in the Italian.

but Carlos from the steak restaurant, Tomas from the Mexican, Abraham from the Italian and nathahel and max from the Thai.

We tried the steak house, Italian and Thai - all excellent.

As for the Ala-Cartes, we dined at the Japanese, Thai and Italian restaurant.

We honestly don’t have one single complaint, the staff couldn’t do enough for you, the room was clean, the food and restaurants were delicious, staff were attentive, beach beautiful and the cocktails were to die for.

Beautiful hotel, on the beach on the hotel strip in Cancun.

There are plenty of pool and beach chairs and the waiters keep drinks coming and serve lunch around the pool and beach.

Examples were repeatedly using the main pool and hot tub to rinse off sand from the beach including flip flops and sandals.

The beach and rooms were very clean and felt very relaxing.

Gael and Rafael even remembered us from our last stay 4 years ago.

The Beach Palace is a more intimate hotel location, with beautiful ocean and beach views.

The rooms were nice, the beach was gorgeous, the meals were delicious, and the service was warm and accommodating.

It earns its title from the beautiful beach it sits on.

Weather was fantastic all week, beach very nice and clean.

After coming back from the beach, we were severely inconvenienced by not being able to wash our hands and shower.

Jesus, Alfredo, and Bernabe at the beach were extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed each day - it was so nice getting to know them over the week.

He was so nice and attentive and was such a fun addition to the beach!

3) The rooms are nice and I love that they have bracelets used as the keys to the room.

We brought 12 people to celebrate thanksgiving at beach place.

I have been to Beach many times and keep going back because of the service.

But, just a few we got to know this trip: Ajelina, Jesus, Alfredo, Tiana, and Barnabe (beach servers and beach concierge), all of whom were incredibly nice and a couple of whom, figured out I am a beer drinker and started bringing several in a chiller without even being asked.

This Palace is like so many other, Buckingham, Drottingholm, Versailles.

The only thing I would say which is not the hotels fault is, that I would make sure my room didn’t end in 08, 10 or 12 as it’s next the the elevator and can be noisy late at night or/and early in the morning.

Barging into the elevator before those arriving have had a chance to get off.

The biggest complaint I heard was the elevators.

Areas for improvement:

The elevator situation is REAL slow.

2 out of 4 elevators are broken at all times.

The elevators are dirty and just plain  worn out.

The lights went out on us on the elevator!

The only thing that really needs attention right away is the elevators.

Because this is a tall hotel style building, we found the hallway to be quite loud when trying to sleep, especially since our room was directly in front of an elevator.

The hotel downside is the elevators and ensuing wait times.

Moving around the building is somewhat difficult as stairways are closed, elevators get packed up and take long time.

Elevators are a nightmare, it was small and constantly passing floors.

The entire 7days involved elevator issues.

Only minor negatives, there are only four small elevators for 14 floors, so you have to be patient at peak times or find stairs.

but expect to be caught in elevators, restaurant lines, buffet crowds.

but others a real miss)
-the towel game is exhausting (I don’t blame anyone who wants a chair, but the hotel needs to move towels and stuff if people are holding places at both the beach and pool for hours while they eat breakfast and get manicures)
- the elevators are small and they take quite a while

Even at the furthest room here, you're maybe 100 steps to the elevator to breakfast, another 100 steps to the pool and 200 more steps to the beach.

but what we learned to do was if u were going up and the elevator was going down or vice versa.

Thank you Beach Palace for a really amazing holiday which will give my family and I memories forever ☺️

You can even arrange golfing (for a price) at the Moon Palace resort (same chain)

The restaurant staff (Gabriela) and Vacation planning staff (Diego and Rosario) were outstanding.

I have to mention a few people that made our holiday extra special!

We stayed 10 days at the Beach Palace over the holidays in December and January 2024.

This was our 8th stay at Beach Palace during the holidays, we spent Christmas Eve, Day and NYE this time.

The beach palace was an amazing place to vacation!

I booked my family vacation after seeing this resort recommended on YouTube.

The fitness team and especially Luis, Fitness instructor, deserve credit for getting people off their chairs and up early in the morning on vacation to go work out, haha !

We had a great family vacation at Beach Palace.

Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would stay at Beach Palace again.

but Diego (Palace Vacation Planner) was truly outstanding in the service he provided, arranging tee-times and transportation.

We are so grateful to have had him as our waiter as he made our vacation excellent!

We did sign up for a snorkeling tour with their Vacation Planners, and

but I would have loved for the vacation there to have continued.

Restaurants: We were there mid Spring Break.

I would highly recommend this resort for a family vacation.

Anything and everything you can wish for on a beach vacation.

We had an amazing vacation at the Beach Palace resort.

Our daughter loves the kids club and the slide at the main pool.

There was a great variety of activities available daily in the common pool area which was quite entertaining, especially for our kid.

Shouting in the halls late at night, across restaurant tables at dinner from the adults to kids groups, etc.

As parents traveling with kids, it’s nice when resorts have entertainment for them too so you can enjoy a couple of hours to yourself.

We chose beach palace because we wanted a swimming beach for the children .

There are too many kids in the sports bar.

They had this girl named “Jenni” or “Genie”.

Our adult children and we spent 5 nights at the Beach Palace and had a wonderful time!

My daughter and I did the 8am rooftop fitness & then aqua spinning - Luis was so professional, very engaging and knows what he is doing – he made it very fun!

This is a great place to travel with kids!

My daughter loved the crepes and macarons.

We traveled with two toddlers and had an amazing experience at Beach Palace.

Most ideal for families including with teens.

My kids are 4 & 6 & it was perfect for us.

Lastly, it was LOTS of children in the pool/beach area

The pool staff Joan was awesome, has great entertainment for my kids.

They did great job accommodating special request for baby food.

We have stayed at The Beach Palace Cancun many times and every time the staff makes our stay unforgettable.

We are very happy to have chosen beach palace for our new year celebration!

but in the end I think we were relieved to be back at Beach Palace, which is much less pretentious.
