 - The lounge is lovely for breakfast or afternoon wine/tea.
 - Food was terrific in the hotel from the lounge to the restaurant to the bar.
 - She told me she discovered the mouse as well and they contacted Rentokil and do a deep clean of the lounge.
 - We had access to the lounge/club area, which was very nice.
 - We booked the executive twin which included the lounge which was ideal for drinks and nibbles on our way out in the evening.

 - Rooms are very small and basic, thin walls and noisy plumbing - which means you can hear the occupants in the next room running taps & more.
 - The room itself was small,

 - We had paid for an upgrade which included Club Room, Executive breakfast, drinks vouchers and a late checkout.

 - The decor is as I remember it back then so this hotel has not had a face lift sine at least the 90's.

 - We had no hot water and heating.
 - I then rang down and the Concierge came up with a portable electric heater.

 - There is a door inside the station,
 - N/A
 - The location to the station alone is worth the stay.
 - It is at the back of the hotel and its windows look out over the station concourse.
 - With a very early journey from Paddington station and a very late return, the historic Hilton (formerly the Great Western Royal Hotel) was the obvious choice, with its own private entrance straight onto the concourse at the station.

 - Easy walks to Hyde Park and near by Marble Arch.
 - You can walk up the street to Edgware Road and walk down to Marble Arch/Oxford Street/Park Lane.
 - But it's rather close to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Buckingham Palace.
 - - Location is also good and within walking distance of Hyde Park, and Marble Arch.

 - In Executive lounge not even any nuts or crackers, they canceled all the amenities they used to give people
 - Executive Lounge was open and nice to sit and look out over Paddington Station.
 - Don’t bother to upgrade to use the Business Lounge , as no food worth talking about is served.I included photographs of the entire buffet served to the those patrons of the Executive Lounge.
 - Executive lounge, is great to have your own little space and free drinks, again reduced offerings.
 - Joanne in the executive lounge was very friendly and polite.

 - Only 2 of the lifts were working so often we had to wait ages for a lift ( we were no the 4th floor).
 - Each time I stayed there was 1 lift only working.
 - As other reviewers have said, it's right on Paddington station and the Heathrow Express - there is not even any need to walk outside as the hotel is connected directly to the station by elevator and escalator.
 - 1 lift not working, carpets worn and frayed in the bedroom corridors.
 - First time 2 out of 3 lifts not working and the one that was didn’t feel too safe.

 - Two minor mentions - the windows were filthy and I suspect cleaning was cut due to Covid business decline.
 - Oh and the corridor smells stale!
 - When we first arrived the first thing we noticed was the leaky yellow stain above our bed which was honestly disgusting to sleep under.
 - Rooms are in need of renovation and there is dusky smell in the rooms and the corridor.
 - I felt that our stay was all smoke and mirrors along with being one of my most negative Hilton experiences.

 - Massive hotel, ideally positioned near Paddington Station and Edgware Road underground.
 - Booked this break with Edwards Travel and I must say we were very pleased with Hilton Metropole right near Paddington Station.
 - Short walking distance to Paddington Station for Heathrow Express.
 - The breakfast was really good and the location near Paddington station is very good.
 - I stayed here as part of my continuing effort to find a decent hotel within walking distance of Paddington station.

 - The room was allocated on11th floor with floor to roof large windows overlooking the Edgware road and Marble Arch.
 - We just completed a family stay here over the weekend for a special occasion, and the price was brilliant considering you're literally walking distance from Oxford st. Marble arch, Hyde Park etc.
 - As soon as I entered the building I was blown away at how beautiful everything was, the floors were shiny marble and everything was really clean!
 - Easy walk to Marble Arch and Park Lane.
 - It's in a great location, with two Underground Stations in close proximity and a short walk down to Marble Arch and some good shopping.

 - I asked one of the security guard where the toilet are and then the first thing he asked me was “Do You Live Here?
 - Yes the rooms are a little dated especially the bathroom
 - The room I was allocated on arrival was one of the newly refurbished rooms, sadly these rooms only have a shower fitted, and I had requested a room with a bath.
 - Room needs maintenance, the hotel management could do better with checks to ensure lighting works, shower bit old and needs upgrade.
 - One of them passed me and then the other one walks into the women bathrooms!!!!

 - This entitled us to use the executive lounge which was a brilliant benefit and we enjoyed a light evening refreshments on both evenings.
 - The pinnacle of our stay was the new refurbished executive lounge.
 - I was checked in by Asia who was friendly and efficient, she directed me to my room and explained that the Executive Lounge has temporarily been relocated to the Bow Bar.
 - Food is amazing, executive lounge is nice although it’s operating with limited service
 - My recent stay was in November 2021, and the new executive lounge was not open,

 - Well located newly renovated hotel for easy access to the very center of London.
 - It will be my 5 th stay at this hotel as I keep coming here due to location and the staff .
 - I would have no hesitation in staying here again, merely for location and price point.
 - Great room, very nice location.

 - I asked the lady at the front desk to send someone to come to the room so I could show them
 - we last stayed here couple of years ago and left a very poor review about the state the rooms looking very tired and run down.
 - I stayed 5 nights and had terrible drilling noise above room .
 - when we went to the room which they said was an upgrade.
 - but the hotel was a huge let down if it was cheap I wouldn’t mind but they charge the earth for their rooms that simply are not standard to anyone.
