 - Food and the trains are very close by.
 - The staff were very attentive and provided a complimentary bottle of wine when they discovered it was our anniversary and gave us invaluable tips on places to eat.
 - I chose this hotel because it offered a room with a little kitchenette which I love having when I’m traveling so I don’t have to eat every meal out.
 - Very friendly staff with awesome food recommendations.

 - Great hotel in Soho with many restaurants and pubs around and 200m from Oxford street.
 - The hotel was in a well centered yet quiet area, Leicester Square and Oxford Street are just a few minutes away.
 - Within easy walk are Oxford Street (shopping), Soho itself (lively shops and eateries), Chinatown (great food), and it's easy to navigate to Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and more.
 - Only 300 metres from Oxford street and lots of pubs and cafes nearby.

 - Our bed was horrendously uncomfortable.
 - but the Hotel was disappointing and very overpriced, Couldn't even get IN the room with our luggage, no where to put it, crawled over it, put one in bathroom, could barley walk around bed, I was very disappointed and uncomfortable for a three day stay.

 - There is no restaurant at the hotel

 - A beautiful hotel in the middle of SOHO - A short walk to all you need of restaurants, theaters, shopping.

 - Disappointed that there was no window view for the cost, just a cramped weird courtyard on the basement level, so the room was dark and kind of gloomy The complementary cocktail hour was nice
 - I would also say that the hotel is very dark.
 - We had a ground floor room which was far too dark. It was in an absolute nightmare when getting ready (this is why I only gave 4 stars)
 - but not too late….. definitely would benefit from black out blinds or curtains for those of us who like the dark but that’s the only mild negative 😊
 - The rooms were a little small for what we paid and very dark not much day light getting in at all, the bed was really comfortable and our room very quiet.

 - I would definitely recommend if you're comfortable with a Queen bed with four feet on all sides.
 - There were two single beds that were very comfortable.

 - 19th cent gentrified houses turned into hotels down the street with quaint narrow corridors.
 - Further, I could not reach the wardrobe hangers, they have been placed too high. Access to the rooms is extremely difficult - steep narrow stairs and impossibly narrow corridors and (fire?)
 - We were on the top floor, which was hard to access along tiny corridors and the room had a 3/4 bed, and there was hardly enough room to move in the room.

 - The bathroom mirror was stained and the bottom of the shower was dirty.
 - **avoid this hotel** pros: good location, friendly staff cons: dirty bed clothes, dirty curtains, cleaning staff came in when dnd sign was on door, broken air con unit, lift doesnt go to higher floors, cleaning staff left wine stained glasses in room 👎
 - Dust, stained mattress, stained carpets, not hoovered, bathroom floor dirty, cups in room dirty we had to wash our cups with the shampoo they supply.
 - Dirty. Small.
 - No USB sockets and a bathroom with dirty grout just added to all the negatives at this place.

 - however the stairs were creaky and felt as though they were caving in to walk on.
 - That room was up 2 shirt flights of stairs.
 - We used a whole 2 bottles of 100ml of sanitiser to wipe down surfaces so we could our belongings on the bed side tables, table, dresser top and hand stairs hand rail.
 - Found it a bit strange only one lift didn’t mine stairs from 5th Floor walking down
 - but the flight of stairs is very steep and not the easiest to navigate during the night if you required the downstairs bathroom.

 - Although its only 4 underground tube stops from Victoria mainline railway station its a hell of a lot cheaper than staying in the more central parts of London like oxford street or soho.

 - It was only then we realised we were below ground level.
 - but big was the suprise that our rooms where under the ground with no windows at all.
 - “We have rooms on floor minus 1,” she countered, as if I should be grateful I was only one level below ground.
 - His solution was for my husband and I to sleep in our 4th floor room and for my 11-year-old son to sleep in a single room on the ground floor - which raised safeguarding issues.
 - Word of advice, if you stay here, ask to stay in an upper room as the rooms under the ground floor feel tight and akin to a bunker.

 - I would note that there was not a whole lot of space in the room to store your clothes if that is important to you keep that in mind.
 - The clothes were suppose to be delivered that night.

 - but pretty dirty ( mostly the walls, the windows and the furniture).
 - but being below ground there was no point opening the curtains and looking at the legs of the passers by!

 - As in, seriously, underground basement rooms with no windows or natural light.

 - but the nice cold lobby is a deception from the reality of the rooms. Hot.
 - Mix of hot or cold breakfast .
 - our breakfast was no better, I changed my fork 4 times as they were covered in stains, the breakfast was either cold or burnt, safe to say we won’t be returning to this hotel in London
 - They are,in my opinion, near to cold.
 - but hot food was cold basically room temperature which ruined my stay as cold baked beans and cold eggs are a bad start to any day

 - On the whole would recommend staying here as staff polite and helpful and the location was good too, only a 15 min walk to Oxford street and 30/40 min walk to Buckingham Palace.
 - Location is second to none, 10 mins to Euston/Kings Cross, Oxford Street, 15 mins to theatre land and a2min walk to Russell Square tube.
 - It was in an excellent location (about 15 min walk to oxford street) and 2 min walk to Russell Square tube station.
 - It is a very pleasant walk into Leicester Square, Oxford Street etc.
 - While we liked the location that is convenient to train station at Kings Cross, tube station and even to walk to Oxford Street, we were not 100% happy with the services.

 - Also considering that the room was not cleaned the whole day while a please clean my room request was on the door.
 - Sure enough, a camp bed arrived, converting a small twin room into a crowded 3-bed room, so crowded in fact the wardrobe doors couldn’t be opened.
 - The doors have an automatic closing system and the knocks are not avoided by the cleaning staff, causing ''door slamming'' that make it impossible for those who need to rest to sleep. Unfortunate.
 - however, someone in the room next door having some sort of bronchitis attack or something and the constant cough was a) loud and b) stomach churning.
 - I opened the door (room 611) to the terrible smell of stale sweat.

 - As I returned to the room a member of staff saw me and I asked if he would stand in the hallway and hear first hand the racket.
 - Corridors a bit dated.
 - The corridors etc were dated and needed a pit of a spruce up,
 - Maintenance need to fit soft closes in the door as all night you hear doors slamming The corridors and carpets need a revamp likewise bedrooms BREAKFAST - Excellent choice of food
 - but be aware the the rooms and upper hallways are not quite as modern.
