It's a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location---a five minute walk to either Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abbey.

Buckingham Palace is at the end of the street, so royalty are neighbors.

The location is perfect, close to Buckingham Palace and Westminster.

That said, its very well located with the underground being a stones throw from the property, even the bus is a 5 minutes walk, so connectivity is sorted, the Buckingham Palace is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, so is the St. James Park, very touristy

I had a very memorable stay at this hotel as it is just 6 minutes walk from the Buckingham palace beautifully decorated and maintained and the junior suites are a very good option for a family of 3 to stay good food very authentic Indian food  good amiebience and the staff is very polite and helpful

It's walking distance from the Buckingham palace and very close to all the important attractions in London.

A great location (walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Westminster and St. James' Park).

Let’s start with the location, which is nothing short of perfect- Close to everywhere you want to visit including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The Eye, Hyde Park, Mayfair, and Buckingham Palace!

Well located, just few steps from Buckingham Palace and Saint James Park underground station.

Hotel reception is nice and location too Buckingham palace at the end if the road and nice high street with eating places .The hotel reception was nice

The hotel is centrally located close to St James & Victoria Stations and Buckingham Palace.

It was also in a great location, close walking distance to the Buckingham Palace, and also near to Big Ben.

It's in a great location - literally a block from Buckingham Palace, and the breakfast (included in my rate) was really good.

The location was ideal, 5-10 min walk from Victoria station/underground and 5 min walk to Buckingham Palace.

We stayed one night and would've liked to stay more, the hotel is really spacious, clean, smells like flowers, the staff is super friendly and eager to help in any way.

Typical of English hotels in old buildings, one had to walk through rather complicated corridors to reach the room.

Refusing to go to reception dressed in a bath robe, we called again, and after a total of about 15 minutes of waiting in the hallway, a gentleman arrived and unlocked the doors for us.

Dead flowers were left on the table in the hallway for days.

The hallway walls and carpet are beat up, and the furniture is cheap and damaged in the rooms.

Room 317 were up until 3 am sorting the shopping out throwing boxes on to the corridor, speaking really loud banging the door open & shut all night..

Spa ridiculously busy and would not adopt a booking system 

Premier rooms far away from reception - a gazillion maze-like corridors to follow.

If I had to nitpick I’d say that the cocktails were a little expensive, and that the corridors leading to the rooms looked slightly shabbier than the lobby and the rooms themselves.

No problems with noise from the corridors or outside, although there must be an Underground line right below the hotel, as you could hear the sound and vibration of trains,

however the odd layout of the room saw the 2 chairs in a small nook, immediately facing a wall at the end of a small corridor.

but sadly the carpets in the hallway outside mye room, and in the room, were old, dirty and smelly.

Hotel was extremely expensive considering the old, unpainted rooms, hallways that smelled like backed up sewers.

however had to go via the courtyard as the internal corridors were a labyrinth.

Our “classic” room was small, in need of redecoration and down a nasty corridor.

Strange smell in the hallway on my floor (6th floor).

The location is 10 / 10; Check in experience was 6/10; Room would be 7/10; breakfast would be 9/10.

We like the location and have been very satisfied with our room and any dealings we have had with staff.

We walked almost exclusively which says volumes about the location and many of the walks are through the parks.

I hope that we will have the opportunity to stay at this lovely establishment again in the future and can’t say enough great things about the ambience, stellar service, and fantastic location of St. James Court!

The location can’t be beat; the service is exceptional.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable.

We had split our stay in London with our family to be in two different locations for ease of getting around with two small boys (ages 3 & 4).

It would also have been helpful had the person taking the booking on the phone  warned us about the diversion and had a map of such which the Hotel could have emailed us at the time of booking.

We in fact ended up having to call to get it sent up several hours later, at which point we were already too tired.

Had to call out the maintenance team because none of my sockets, TV etc would work, they came about 2 hours later when i was getting into bed.

Then when someone responds, I sometimes get an irate person irritated why I was calling that number when I only dialed the shortcut from your phone. 4.

The concierge was terrible - he didn't call me back multiple times on dinner reservations.

There were many occasions where our room was not made up for the entire day and we had to call up the housekeeping at 11 in the night when we returned to our hotel asking to clean up the room and their response used to be sorry sir the housekeeping staff has left for the day.

v. After repeated calls to the front desk to request for the duty manager she came up 1.5 hours from my first request, and did try to be helpful.

We received a call back to our colleague’s room to say that there was no one available to help us.

The clientele spoiled it (watching Loud social media videos on mobiles while using the relaxation loungers).

While in London, we had two mishaps - my daughter’s IPhone was stolen, and I fell on the sidewalk and sustained some injuries.

Her manner was abrupt and she also charged me twice for some local calls.

And when we asked to talk to the manager to explain this brilliant policy, we were ignored and they did not call back.

After calling up they said this was normal practice and the security deposit will be refunded.

We did have a few hiccups in being unable to reach housekeeping reception or room service from the room phone

In our family stay at 10 pm in the night maintenance technician rang the bell and came in to fix a toilet leak in another room below our room.

We checked in and there was nothing there so I had to call and ask- the reception staff didn’t know about it

We managed to log on via our mobile phone

However, we did face some problems with my birthday cake even after quite a few calls and emails before reaching there

Booked on telephone requesting quiet area due to medical condition related to hypersensitivity to noida d was guaranteed this Spoke with advanced booking on 3 occasions to clarify and they stated I would have quiet area overlooking the courtyard Neither of these promises materialised sadly Paid over £1000 and was disgusted at the untruths they told me Shocking experience to say the least

They made us feel as valued, and as important as anyone who may walk in the door.

Our luxury stay started the moment we walked into the stunning lobby and everything and everyone about this hotel just continued to impress.

It was convenient to all the places we had plans to visit and could walk everywhere.

We were able to walk to the changing of the guard and didn’t need to fight traffic!

Eventually I parked up nearby and walked to the Hotel & met up with the X Keys Concierge.

I did morning runs in St. James park, and we were able to walk to almost anywhere in London.

On Friday morning, we leave after breakfast for a walk around London and come back to the hotel at 2PM as we have Spa treatments booked for 3:15PM.

Victoria Station is also just a 10-minute walk away (from there you can take a train to Gatwick).

I was able to walk everywhere (15 mins to Big Ben, 5 mins to Buck House, 40 mins to Oxford street etc….).

You are five minute walk to the tube stop.

And, in 2 mins, you can walk up to Buckingham Palace.

Mega close to Buck Pal, (3 min walk) where I had a ticket for the Jubilee Party In The Palace.

The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from Buckingham Palace, Westminster and the royal parks.

I went out on the afternoon to pay my respects at Buckingham Palace, on the death of Her Majesty, The Queen.

With Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, London Eye, Horse Guards Parade, The Mall and Buckingham palace all within 15 mins walk and St James park only a stones throw away.

Absolutely perfect location 2 mins from tube station and walking distance to westminster abbey, St James Park and Buckingham Palace etc.

Firstly the location is really good, within walking distance of Big Ben, the big wheel and Buckingham palace.

This is a fantastic location within easy walking distance to subway and bus stations, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the National Gallery, the theater district, and more.

You can also walk to St James Park and Buckingham Palace which isn’t too far.

We were in London for the jubilee, the hotel is ideally located for the major attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

This hub is in an ideal location for visiting Westminster: just a few minutes walk from Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and St James's Park  

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is such a good hotel, just a stone’s throw from Parliament, St James’s park, Buckingham Palace, Whitehall and Victoria to name just a few locations.

We stayed here for my daughter's Duke of Edinburgh Award at Buckingham Palace and it was a 10 minute walk away.

Great access for Buckingham Palace, Covent Gardens,  most theatres, St Paul's and London Tower Bridge

St James Park and Buckingham Palace were a very short walk away too.

The hotel is ideally situated with regards to the London Tube system and many of the great places to visit; Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery and many more.

Big Ben and London Eye 5 minute walk and Buckingham Palace 10 minute walk.

The hotel is centrally located to various attractions including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye and Buckingham Palace, all within walking distance.

The hotel is so central, it's around the corner from the abbey, parliament and Buckingham Palace.

We asked for a second pillow which Is advertised in all the lifts that we can have and being told of course and it never appearing. Twice.

First room was very noisy, as backing onto the lift shaft.

Who wants to get dressed, go down 6 floors in the lift to go and get a cup of tea first thing in the morning???

The only issue is carrying hot drinks up in the lift or up the stairs, so facilities in the room would be better!

There was a bad odor from the carpets in the corridor, the stair carpets were filthy due to the fact that if you wanted a hot drink in your room you had to carry hot drinks through multiple doors, lifts and stairs with a key card as well .

though as carrying the china mugs back in the lifts felt a bit precarious.

Not directed to lifts or told anything about breakfast.

Unengaged check in (I wasn’t told where lifts were or anything about hotel).

but would be big enough for a wheelchair BUT our bed this time was a bit lower than I’d have wanted and I wonder what issues someone transferring to and from a wheelchair who needs help would come across - in all honesty I wouldn’t recommend it for you if you have no upper body strength or can’t lift yourself up and down I think you’d struggle.

Each time, you have to get an employee's attention for them to unlock and operate the lift every time you want to enter/exit the building.

I appreciate that guests have to use their keycard to access the elevator and again to access the hallway which leads to your rooms.

We had a ground floor room this time which made a change from having to wait for the lifts.

We could hear the lift going up and down too!

The room key is needed to get into the ground floor elevator lobby, and once you reach your floor, you need the key to get into the hallways where the rooms are.

but if there was a fire and you couldn’t use the lifts?

Only negative I had was I'm a very light sleeper and my room was located next to the lifts, and I could constantly hear them going up and down.

There is technology everywhere in the hotels, from the electronic writing on the mirrors in the elevators, to the mood lighting that gradually turns on the lights on entering the bedroom, to the panel on the bed which operates the lighting and air conditioning, etc.

After initially being checked into a room on the 6th floor and 2 of the 3 elevators being out of order, we found that our room was occupied by someone else.

Location was great hotel staff friendly we had breakfast a couple of times and couldn’t fault it.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the restaurant was very good for late night drinks and socializing!

but overweight individuals would have trouble fitting through the glass sliding door.

Our room was the size of a closet here- you walk in and there is a toilet and shower immediately to the right with glass walls that follow a tucked in bed with under bed storage.

I would note that the bathroom door & wall is only frosted glass and therefore doesn't offer the maximum privacy if you are sharing a room.

Didn’t like partially frosted glass bathroom door which didn’t offer much privacy in bathroom.

The only thing is the bathroom - if you don't know the person too well you can hear them behind the glass separation panel!

If sharing a room, you’ll want to know the design is such – frosted glass walls – that there’s not a great deal of privacy between the bathroom and sleeping area.

buttons, the only issue I had was that bathroom was glass which meant minimal privacy.

Only issue was  the large Glass doors in the bathroom, dosent offer the best privacy.

Only things missing are a toilet brush and a glass for the toothbrush,

Not only is it frosted or clear glass, depending where you look, there is bizarrely a gap of about five millimetres where the glass door meets the glass wall.

There was only one thing wrong, which will mean I do not stay here again - the bathroom door was gentle frosted glass and there was a 1 cm gap when the door was closed.

The glass doors to the bathroom had a cm gap between them and that with the frosted glass meant there was little privacy.

Only fly in the ointment was a barman ruined a double single malt by putting it in a half pint glass and then half filling that with water so be very specific about what you are asking for.

but clean, yes the bathroom as a frosted glass door to it so if you are looking for a private room this is not for you, me and wife thought it was quite funny that you could see into the bathroom.

I was aware that some rooms had further glass doors to add extra noise deadening for the guests.

There is only a frosted glass door on the bathroom and

but if two of you, with the bed against 3 walls, having to climb over the other person to go the toilet disturbs you both and also a lack of privacy using the loo with glass screens and a gap in door.

Preferred the soho one as is a better location for theatres and restaurants and the same money if booked well in advance .

I’ve stayed at this Hub before due to its fantastic location near tourist spots and galleries

Great location, so close to St James Park tube, with Westminster tube also very close.

Location is perfect, walking distance from the finish line, walking distance to Victoria station, and 2mins from St James Park underground.

Overall, good if you are not so bothered about the hotel facilities and more interested in location.

Overall, even with the minor inconveniences, this is an excellent place to stay & I would recommend it, brilliantly located very close to St James Park station and Westminster.

but neat and cheerful room, excellent facilities and wifi and a cosy bar with endless free coffee at all times, I can't believe the pleasantness and value in such a central location.

We preferred this location as it was away from the mobs of tourists staying in Trafalgar Square/Chelsea/etc.

Excellent service and comfort, everything was clean, highly recommend, excellent value for money especially considering the location.

Was able to check in on arrival and the rooms were modern and clean albeit small which I expected.

The room was a 'slightly larger one' with a window.

Room was comfy, quiet, clean and had sufficient storage.

But it was the perfect thing for us as we didn’t spend much time in our room.

I also got super sick for a bit and it wasn’t easy not having much room to lay out or air to breathe.

but with the price we payed for a larger room and the fact that there is definately space for the tea/coffee making faciilties on the large enough sideboard under the tv - we really missed this option.

but reception brought an extra two pillows up to our room.

however the hotel were able to accommodate us immediately in an available room of the type that we had booked.

We had a good, clean room (although very small in size and that was with the King/upgraded room size).

Rooms great and security measures were good.

Westminster Catholic Cathedral for Mass is a short walk away.

Westminster Abbey about 3 minutes walk away.

It was a short walk to the Tube station and pubs.

We didn't book breakfast here because of it and we went and sought food outside the hotel, less than a 10 minute walk away again spending much more, because of the ridiculous staff behind the bar.

The location is also within a 5 minute walk to the closest Tube station.
