I would definitely recommend if you're comfortable with a Queen bed with four feet on all sides.

There were two single beds that were very comfortable.

Stayed for one night as I was attending a seminar at King's Place close to King's Cross.

The Alhambra is a cute hotel located just a half block from Kings Cross train station.

but this is due to the location near to 
King's Cross St. Pancras station.

I prefer to stay around the Kings Cross stroke Bloomsbury area which I have on many occasions as I find it a great base for striking out on the tourist trail, with Kings Cross being handy for the buses and tube.

On the plus side the bed had lots of places where you could tie restraints to it - this made for a fun evening for us.

Being a tall lad the single bed was perfect even with my Giraffe proportioned legs.

The hotel is very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the WiFi very fast.

This is a small hotel located a short walk to the St Pancras train station and King's Cross underground.

Hard to beat location only 2 min walk to St Pancreas International Station and 5 min walk to Kings Cross Station.

It is conveniently located on a quiet alley that is a mere four minute walk to the King's Cross subway station.

This hotel is a stone’s throw from Kings Cross station, down a quiet side street.

Perfectly located for Kings Cross station, directly opposite a tube stop of you want to use it as a hotel to see a few sights along the underground.

Everything was immaculately clean , the bed was very comfortable, and the bed linen was of very high quality .

This B&B is visibly smarter and classier than the many others on the same street, and literally two mins walk from Kings Cross St Pancras - on the road bang opposite.

Not a problem, there is a well known pub chain in St Pancras station which opens at 9am for all day breakfast.

Prices are reasonable (considering breakfast is included).

Take the 8.54am to Calais and you’ll have time to enjoy the awesome breakfast buffet at this great accommodation.

We had a fine stay here — the place is tidy, the service attentive, the location exquisite, the breakfast fine if not outstanding.

Breakfast from 7 to 9 was far too restrictive for a family holiday - missed it each morning of a three-night pre-booked stay.

This hotel is clean convenient and the breakfast is good with great price to stay.i strongly recommend people to stay here .The reception is very friendly and later I learn is a family own business.

But it was clean, there was a small desk and an OK sized bathroom, so basically you don't need more.

We had a ground floor room which we had requested and is was very clean and comfortable.

Apart from being superbly located, it's a modest yet clean and comfortable place: rooms are in the smallish side,

- so I was on the top floor (no lift) at the back (overlooking a primary school and its playground).

Hotel: No lift which caused pain for carrying luggage up and down.

Many of the small hotels do not have lifts

We knew ahead of time that there would be no elevator and were prepared for a narrower staircase.

There is no lift so we had to hail our luggage up two flights of stairs to the 2nd floor.

No lift so avoid the upper floors if elderly or travelling with lots of luggage.

Due to  the hotel's age there are no elevators/ lifts so people with mobility problems could have difficulty with the stairs.

We asked for a lower floor because there is no elevator and we didn’t want to haul our luggage up and down the stairs.

It is an old building, so there isn’t a lift.

The corridors are a little tight for space if you are carrying luggage and note that there is no elevator,

The hotel only has stairs so not suitable for anyone who needs a lift,

but as far as I know it does not have lifts, so I would not recommend it to those with mobility problems.

Be aware - no lift access and site is split over two sides of the street (as are other hotels), so choose hotel according to your requirements.

The room was the 310, no lift, the stairs very uncomfortable, barely can steps up with luggage.

The rooms are small (to be expected for a small building with narrow stairs, and no elevators),

No it's not a large chain hotel with lifts ( elevators)

Basic rooms are on the top floor without elevator, and only one toilet and shower room to be shared.

Granted, there's no elevator - and we haven't got the best knees -

If you've done any research you'll know London hotels in this area are pretty small, and probably won't have a lift or air con.

I was back in London the following week and stayed at a different hotel near Paddington, it was in the same price range

The best thing about this hotel is the location: only meters from Paddington/Kings Cross, it is on a quiet side street.

We arrived at Heathrow in the early evening Friday night and made our way to Kings Cross via the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and onward to St Pancras.

It's just a few minutes' walk to the British Library and Euston station, there's a bank and a handy post-office shop a few yards away, and if coming from Paddington like I did, the bus stop is really close by.

This was my fifth visit to London and we have usually stayed in the Paddington area

Small rooms – though not much smaller than the *very expensive* The Standard down the street –

This basement room was small with a tiny bathroom.

but very small room with dreadfull beds, in my case water leaking from the ceiling, ok for one night.

The rooms are tiny - had to squeeze through the door of my bedroom as the bed was that close to the entrance.

Only negatives are that our room was rather small and up 3 flights of stairs.

The room was small - room to walk around the bed, a tiny little workspace, full height single wardrobe and compact bathroom.No room for dancing

Although the room was small with a very small double bed up a winding set of stairs.

Two things to bear in mind - my room was SMALL.

I booked a single bed room and the shower room was tiny

Can’t say enough about the staff, especially since I messed up big time.

The staff were all really friendly and chatty, asking my kids if they enjoyed Paris etc.

Perfect in every way,,,,,a short work from Euston station,,,close to the underground, great bedroom and amazing polite staff.

Some stairs, so would not recommend for anyone with mobility challenges.

I was on the top floor (Third) and I must admit the stairs could be a challenge for the elderly.

Minus: difficult for hard of walking up three flights of stairs.

Further, I could not reach the wardrobe hangers, they have been placed too high. Access to the rooms is extremely difficult - steep narrow stairs and impossibly narrow corridors and (fire?)

It is a little noisy and you can hear people going up and down the stairs and stomping across the floor in their rooms.

I was on the 3rd floor , the stairs are narrow & steep if you have mobility problems they could be difficult.

There were warnings that breakfast was busiest between 8am & 9am, which we found out on our second day as there was quite a queue going up the stairs,

I was on the 2nd floor so lugging up my big suitcase was a workout as the stairs in these type of buildings are of course narrow.

No elevator, though, so if stairs are a problem, request ground floor.

The only drawback would be for people with reduced mobility due to their stairs.

We had accommodation in both the main building (room 2 down a flight of narrow stairs) and room 20 (ground floor) in a building across the street.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a couple of minutes' walk from St Pancras Station.

This hotel is very handy for Euston and St Pancras station in central London.

Only two mins walk from Kings Cross / St Pancras stations, makes this little gem the perfect base to explore London.

You can easily reach the metro station and severa nice restaurants.

The Alhambra hotel is near St Pancras station so it's very easy if you travel with the Eurostar.

Located across the road, less than 5 min walk, almost immediately opposite King's Cross and St Pancras stations, you couldn't hope for a better location.

I stayed for two nights, specifically to be close to St. Pancras station for an early morning train.

Barely a 2 minute walk from Kings Cross station!

Location: Great, right across (hardly 100 meters) King cross underground station which is also the main station for Paris Eurostar rail departure
Front desk: Excellent service by the gentleman who received us in the night checkin hours.

My options were walk up to the station and grab a taxi (time was pressing) or he could call an Uber using his personal account which would be faster and cheaper.

It is very reasonably priced for a hotel close the Kings Cross St Pancras station.

We had a wedding to attend at st pancreas station on the sat and it took us 3 mins to walk to from the hotel. Perfect.

The hotel was close to a few tube stations, near Petticoat Lane market (1 min walk), Brick Lane and many other interesting places.

We ate at brick lane which again was a short 10 min walk from the hotel.

Great stay and good location for sky garden, Spitalfields and brick lane.

Well located for access to Tower Hill, St. Paul’s and Brick Lane.

It is very convenient for exploring the vibrant Brick Lane area.

Great location close to 2 tube stations, and around the corner from Brick Lane.

Great location for exploring London on foot (Brick Lane is five minutes walk), using the bus and being so close to Aldgate stations.

Brick Lane and Petticoat Lane, just the next street over.

You can also walk to Brick Lane and Spitalfields market very easily, about 10 minutes.

Spitalfields market and Brick Lane are an easy walk too.

The Sky Garden ( pre booked)  or Tower Bridge is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and it is a little less to Brick Lane / Whitechapel.

Excellent location a short walk to the tube station, brick lane and local markets etc.

Close to Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane curry houses.

Its very close to the Tower of London and Brick Lane areas so great for visitors too.

The location is optimal for visiting London and also enjoy Shoreditch and Brick Lane area.

Fab hotel - fab location, close to transport links, Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane.

There are two tube stops within five mins and you have brick lane and spitalfields on your doorstep

My husband is originally from the area so made a little trip to brick lane Sunday morning to buy for us to take back home!

One of the better travel lodges very friendly and clean  near to Sunday markets  brick lane and spitalfeild , a 40 to 50 minute bus ride to west end

The hotel is 2 minutes away from the Aldgate tube stop, which you can reach on the Circle line from Paddington.

Room was so quiet best night sleep I have ever had in London.

Considering the position our room was extremely quiet and I am a light sleeper.

There is hardly any difference between the super rooms and the regular rooms because everything is at a high quality.

Room I was in was a good size,the room was ultra quiet (I think I was on the “inside” of the building

The family room was great, it even had a little bath

The room was good and noise free, and at a walkable distance from the tube station.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast good, comfortable bed, very silent room - just the signal of police/ambulance from the street sounds into the room

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and I really have nothing to complain about for the affordable price.

Petticoat lane market is at end of street on a Sunday Spitalfields Market  also on a Sunday has great street food & street entertainers.

Rooms are nice and fresh, AC works well, very short walk to the Aldwich tube station, less than 10 min walk to spitalfields market area with loads of dining options.

Location is great just a few minutes walk from Aldgate station and from the spitalfields area for some grea places to eat.

Short walk to Spitalfields and Tower Bridge, and lots of shops and restaurants/cafes just around the corner.

Close to tube stations and Spitalfields market.

On Sunday, the Petticoat Lane market is less than a minute away and Spitalfields market only a 5 minute walk from there.

The reception said this is done every 7 days!
