I would definitely recommend if you're comfortable with a Queen bed with four feet on all sides.

There were two single beds that were very comfortable.

Stayed for one night as I was attending a seminar at King's Place close to King's Cross.

The Alhambra is a cute hotel located just a half block from Kings Cross train station.

but this is due to the location near to 
King's Cross St. Pancras station.

I prefer to stay around the Kings Cross stroke Bloomsbury area which I have on many occasions as I find it a great base for striking out on the tourist trail, with Kings Cross being handy for the buses and tube.

On the plus side the bed had lots of places where you could tie restraints to it - this made for a fun evening for us.

Being a tall lad the single bed was perfect even with my Giraffe proportioned legs.

The hotel is very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the WiFi very fast.

This is a small hotel located a short walk to the St Pancras train station and King's Cross underground.

Hard to beat location only 2 min walk to St Pancreas International Station and 5 min walk to Kings Cross Station.

It is conveniently located on a quiet alley that is a mere four minute walk to the King's Cross subway station.

This hotel is a stone’s throw from Kings Cross station, down a quiet side street.

Perfectly located for Kings Cross station, directly opposite a tube stop of you want to use it as a hotel to see a few sights along the underground.

Everything was immaculately clean , the bed was very comfortable, and the bed linen was of very high quality .

This B&B is visibly smarter and classier than the many others on the same street, and literally two mins walk from Kings Cross St Pancras - on the road bang opposite.

Not a problem, there is a well known pub chain in St Pancras station which opens at 9am for all day breakfast.

Prices are reasonable (considering breakfast is included).

Take the 8.54am to Calais and you’ll have time to enjoy the awesome breakfast buffet at this great accommodation.

Breakfast from 7 to 9 was far too restrictive for a family holiday - missed it each morning of a three-night pre-booked stay.

We had a ground floor room which we had requested and is was very clean and comfortable.

Apart from being superbly located, it's a modest yet clean and comfortable place: rooms are in the smallish side,

- so I was on the top floor (no lift) at the back (overlooking a primary school and its playground).

Hotel: No lift which caused pain for carrying luggage up and down.

Many of the small hotels do not have lifts

We knew ahead of time that there would be no elevator and were prepared for a narrower staircase.

There is no lift so we had to hail our luggage up two flights of stairs to the 2nd floor.

No lift so avoid the upper floors if elderly or travelling with lots of luggage.

Due to  the hotel's age there are no elevators/ lifts so people with mobility problems could have difficulty with the stairs.

We asked for a lower floor because there is no elevator and we didn’t want to haul our luggage up and down the stairs.

It is an old building, so there isn’t a lift.

The corridors are a little tight for space if you are carrying luggage and note that there is no elevator,

The hotel only has stairs so not suitable for anyone who needs a lift,

but as far as I know it does not have lifts, so I would not recommend it to those with mobility problems.

Be aware - no lift access and site is split over two sides of the street (as are other hotels), so choose hotel according to your requirements.

The room was the 310, no lift, the stairs very uncomfortable, barely can steps up with luggage.

The rooms are small (to be expected for a small building with narrow stairs, and no elevators),

No it's not a large chain hotel with lifts ( elevators)

Basic rooms are on the top floor without elevator, and only one toilet and shower room to be shared.

Granted, there's no elevator - and we haven't got the best knees -

If you've done any research you'll know London hotels in this area are pretty small, and probably won't have a lift or air con.

Comfortable and near the train station so travel to Oxford and Cambridge were so simple.

Close to the train stations and really not a long walk to Oxford Street, Convent Market, or several good little restaurants such as Kalpo or Cassa Mama.

Breakfast has 3 version and you can eat as much as you wish
St. Pancars, King + st. and Oxford street  are all walking distance which is another advantage

The hotel was a couple of minutes from St Pancreas and Kings Cross and a quick stroll to at least half a dozen good eateries for an evening meal.A 30 min stroll would get you to Oxford Street.

The staff are very friendly, it is in a good location, 1 minute walk to kings cross station and a 10 minute walk to Euston Station and only a 25 minute walk away to Oxford street.

Buses are also available direct to Oxford Street.

The undeground station kings cross has connections to 5 underground lines, so you can get to many directions, oxford circus in a few minutes, for example.

Small rooms – though not much smaller than the *very expensive* The Standard down the street –

This basement room was small with a tiny bathroom.

but very small room with dreadfull beds, in my case water leaking from the ceiling, ok for one night.

The rooms are tiny - had to squeeze through the door of my bedroom as the bed was that close to the entrance.

Only negatives are that our room was rather small and up 3 flights of stairs.

Perfect in every way,,,,,a short work from Euston station,,,close to the underground, great bedroom and amazing polite staff.

Some stairs, so would not recommend for anyone with mobility challenges.

I was on the top floor (Third) and I must admit the stairs could be a challenge for the elderly.

Minus: difficult for hard of walking up three flights of stairs.

Further, I could not reach the wardrobe hangers, they have been placed too high. Access to the rooms is extremely difficult - steep narrow stairs and impossibly narrow corridors and (fire?)

It is a little noisy and you can hear people going up and down the stairs and stomping across the floor in their rooms.

I was on the 3rd floor , the stairs are narrow & steep if you have mobility problems they could be difficult.

There were warnings that breakfast was busiest between 8am & 9am, which we found out on our second day as there was quite a queue going up the stairs,

I was on the 2nd floor so lugging up my big suitcase was a workout as the stairs in these type of buildings are of course narrow.

No elevator, though, so if stairs are a problem, request ground floor.

The only drawback would be for people with reduced mobility due to their stairs.

We had accommodation in both the main building (room 2 down a flight of narrow stairs) and room 20 (ground floor) in a building across the street.

The stairs to the breakfast room are dingy-dingy,

The hotel rooms actually span houses on both sides of the street.

Some cheery Christmas lights outside marked out the building, in an elegant Georgian terrace street off the busy Euston Road.

Plenty of dining options nearby, both on the streets and in the stations.

I have stayed at other hotels on Argyle street and decided to try Alhambra based on other reviews written on here and hotels.com  I am pleased I did as I have no hesitation in saying I'll stay here again whenever I am in that part of town.

And as expected, with a room on the ground levels and on the street, it was pretty noisy in the room.

Friendly hotel just across the road from King’s Cross/St Pancras in a quiet street.

but because we were on a side street noise didn’t bother us.

Located in a side street off the bustling Euston Road in what I assumed a collection of old Georgian houses, the hotel is generally very quiet.

It's a family-run hotel, with the main residences and facilities at 17-19 Argyle Street and extra rooms are located directly opposite across the street.

Across the street, it’s the second building part of the hotel.

The hotel looks clean and welcoming from the street.

restaurants everywhere - from a Costa down the street to McDonalds two blocks away.

Walking to this hotel we passed a few in the same street that looked very dowdy, so we were glad we were in this one.

Some bums on the street in this area of town, and the street could be cleaner,

When I checked in, my assigned room 17 faced Argyle Street.

The hotel is in fantastic location, ease of access to the nearby airport bus line (maybe 10 minute walk from drop/pick up points), tram lines and several tourist meeting points.

You can get a bus to and from the airport from the door.

We got the bus from the airport which was considerably cheaper than a taxi, which stopped directly outside the hotel.

The local Dublin Airport shuttle bus drops and collects right outside the hotel.

Easy to get to from the airport on the 747 bus, drops you near enough outside the hotel.

The bus to and from the airport stops very close to this hotel which was very convenient.

I took the 700 bus from the airport and the stop is a 1 min walk away.

We took the airport bus and alighted right opposite the hotel.

The 747 bus from the airport has a stop within 50 yards.

Location was incredibly good, you can reach almost anything from there, the bus from the airports drops you off at 100 m. 
The only 2 minuses i can mention would be: breakfast needs a little bit more variety, not everybody eats bacon and beans in the morning.

but good, the bed was comfortable, ot was clean and in the city centre, with the bus stop for the airport double decker practically beside the building.

The hotel is very convenient to the AIrport  Express bus stop on Cathal Bruga.

in general, all the guys of the hotel were kind and always available, our room was clean and the position near the spire was a great way to enjoy dublin!!

Our room on level 6 was spotless and the double glazing worked wonders - it was an oasis of peace and the views of the sun setting over the church spires of Dublin, sublime.
