 - We stayed here in February, paid almost £200 for one night and was given a room with a window with a view of a wall and not a very clean room.
 - The walls had marks on them and wallpaper had rips in it, even in the lobby area.
 - Also the walls are thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were saying to each other.

 - The Tower hotel which is part of the same group and only 4 star is far superior with regards to service and the quality of the breakfast
 - The hotel is very central for Covent Garden on an evening and we also walked up to the Tower of London along the river bank.
 - My wife and I were in the Tower Suite and the views along the river were absolutely stunning.
 - We were originally booked into The Tower Hotel due to the location.
 - From our original choice of hotel tower to this hotel A sister hotel very last minute.

 - but surely not a big deal?- we'll just phone reception and ask them to bring one up asap, explaining our time constraint.
 - In addition service times to telephone calls both internal and external need review.
 - The only failing was our coffee machine did not work and despite it being reported an hour and a half passed and still no one came to replace it, upon a second call it was sorted.
 - It took a while to get through to reception via the phone the day before our arrival so that could be improved upon.
 - No responce from mail/web form or phone. Terrible.

 - Upper floors with river view have excellent view of the Eye, River Thames, The Shard, and Waterloo railway bridge.
 - Just across the bridge from Waterloo and 5 minutes from the Uber boat to quickly get to other destinations along the Thames.
 - So convenient for train arrivals at Waterloo, if you have baggage you can manage yourself its a walk across the bridge so no need for taxis or the tube.
 - It is well located to get to the West End and the City/London Bridge area as we find it central between the two

 - although there were no views from the window, which had frosted glass.
 - but no shower curtain to use shower head.
 - Water was pouring through dining room windows and when flagged the whole hotel has leaks and buckets!
 - The only other thing we didn't like upon arrival was that our room was freezing cold when we arrived - the heat was off and the window was open - which wasn't exactly the warm and cozy welcome we were hoping for after a long tiring day of traveling.
 - Unfortunately the windows were frosted and single glazed, they looked out on an internal area of the building so

 - but the rooms are small - really quite small, and the double bed occupies almost the whole room - perfectly fine for a couple of nights, but too cramped for much longer.
 - but that wasn’t a problem, It’s a boutique hotel so small is often the way and it was nicely decorated throughout in the main including the rooms, but once we walked in, we were amazed that the small, tight theme continued - the rooms were tiny!
 - The room was small and it felt like a two star hotel!
 - but the room was very small, tiny bathroom, the bed was not as described, nor were the pillows.

 - Room was on 4th floor and it was boiling hot had to keep window open and air con on.
 - Food was lovely-and extremely filling. No pressure (2hr window)
 - The tiny ‘window’ only opened about 1 inch onto the fire escape .
 - My disappointment came when I was shown my room: it was in the basement with a single room and no window to the outside world.
 - The bathroom has both a vent AND a window, and so it was never too steamy.
