 - But it has to be said, the room was a little tired and in need of some renovation. There was black mould around the bath, the handles had been snapped off (and I broke my nail trying to open it!)
 - These are all throwback signs of a lack of interest in updating the accommodation to the standards that the bulk of the remainder of the hotel and the prices demand (£250 rack rate). Oh.
 - A volume control in the bathroom
 - The Bath was dirty from the previous guests The Room was cold, with no effective heating The room was nice,

 - We would always stop in there for a Strawberry Daiquiri wether we were staying or not because of this drink and also a very pleasant place to rest with the view of the tower bridge if your lucky enough to get a window seat especially the bay window table.

 - The hotel was clean didn’t find any dirt, the pool was open to a decent time too. 100% recommend this hotel to any couple looking for a little get away :)
 - On the first day after checking in we decided to make the most of the spa facilities at the pool.
 - This led us to alter our plans to a cosy day in the hotel where we used the pool facility.
 - We were in the pool in the evenings and mornings, and even after all the other things we did in London, the pool was their favorite memory.
 - Rooms were a reasonable size with the normal extras, including iron and ironing board.Breakfast was good, lots of choice and the pool (25 metres) and spa areas were very good.

 - It was far from relaxing and more like a leisure centre swimming pool with older kids jumping and splashing , towels and robes were dumped everywhere around the pool and after 20 mins of being in the pool I got out with a head ache.
 - The shortage of staff was obvious and we were informed of no room service available resulting in no clean towels each day and no-one to answer on calling reception.

 - Not given 5 stars because of one minor point…the queue to get in to breakfast.

 - We would highly recommend staying at The Hub by Tower Bridge.
 - Just a 5 minute walk from the Tower of London & Tower Bridge.
 - This was so with the nub at tower bridge London except for issues to do with accessible rooms.
 - Very close to tower bridge, costa, coops, river, Tesco’s, Wagamama’s.
 - Next to the shard, tower bridge and tower of London.

 - The hot tub was a great touch.
 - The hot tub was the highlight of our stay the views were amazing especially at night being able to see the Eye!
 - Make time to spend in the hot tub for sure.
 - On the plus side the hot tub was fantastic and the staff were friendly and efficient.

 - The bed stand looked dirty (should really have a cover on it), paint was chipped off the bed side cabinet, the showers kept cutting in and out, and every time you used the sink, the water shot out all over you……obviously a pressure problem.
 - The only thing missing was some complimentary bottled water which is often a given in a '4 star hotel'.
 - but water was cold both mornings for a shower even though we informed reception.
 - Hot tub was very very hot when we first got in so we found the hose and added some cold water!
 - although take water as they only give you one bottle per room.

 - A bonus was the Friday antiques market in the square.
 - Our room, Bricklayers, opened on to a shared balcony overlooking the antique market.
 - three of my guys stayed while working just up the road in Bermondsey square onnthe clocktower and markets stall roofs.
 - The room was spacious and looking out over the square where there is a market on the weekend, I believe.
 - Close to Borough market, Maltby, market and some good restaurants nearby.

 - The room lighting is quite dark, we ended up using our phone torches to see the heating controls and what was in our suitcases. 3.
 - but tend to be dark.
 - One issue I had was that the rooms are very dark throughout the day and night, maybe a few more light fixtures would sort that out.
 - Just to warn you if your dog has a bladder the size of a walnut and will need to get up for a wee in the night, the lights outside are off, it is dark!
 - There were a few things I wasn’t too happy with; • It was quite a dark room and the voices on the window were quite grubby • The comforter on the bed had a stain and the paintwork generally needed a refresh • There was a constant droning noise.
