 - But it has to be said, the room was a little tired and in need of some renovation. There was black mould around the bath, the handles had been snapped off (and I broke my nail trying to open it!)
 - These are all throwback signs of a lack of interest in updating the accommodation to the standards that the bulk of the remainder of the hotel and the prices demand (£250 rack rate). Oh.
 - A volume control in the bathroom

 - The in-house restaurant , Nipa Thai is probably one of the finest Thai restaurants we have eaten in.
 - We dinned at the Thai Restaurant on first floor, amazing food , great service, fair pricing.
 - The hotel itself has amazing amenities - beautifully designed room and public spaces, delicious breakfast and Thai restaurant (which is an experience in itself!
 - Lovely rooms, superb views and Nipa Thai is well worth a visit too.

 - We booked the Royal Lancaster after a change of mind of location, as a base for a few days shopping and sightseeing.
 - Excellent position, exquisite cousine, top noch staff (thumbs up Sihanatkathakul for management choice).
 - Location is great, close to the tube and a walk into other parts of london.
 - Whenever in London we always stay at the Royal Lancaster as the location is great, rooms are very nice and the staff are great- especially Rachel!

 - We cancelled the plan to visit the Shard as we had in my experience better relaxed view of London The were Ballons, birthday cake , personalised birthday card awaiting us in the room, there was great attention to the smallest detail.
 - We were on the 17th floor in the park suite and we had clear views from the shard/London eye and across Hyde park to the royal Albert hall.
 - Our room was on the 8th floor, very big with amazing view on London Eye, The Shard, BT tower and other attractions.
 - Our room was roomy and immaculate and we had fantastic views over Hyde Park and could even see The Shard and The London Eye in the distance which were spectacular when lit up at night.
 - Without a doubt the best feature of the room was the view, a beautiful sweeping view of Londons skyline from the Shard to the BT Tower, The London Eye, and Hyde Park.

 - Our main gripe was that from point on the service was incredibly slow - we were served our sandwiches (which were very tasty), our tea and champagne
 - The only slight hiccough was service at breakfast was slow, and we weren't made aware you could order food rather than buffet.
 - It was a slow morning.
 - At times, the service in the breakfast room could be slow,
 - If you order room service for food or ice, the service I very slow 6.
