They set up our breakfast tables on the outside downstairs patio each morning and the breakfasts were amazing!

The coffee was delicious and we enjoyed the mimosas and the biscuits and fruit cup.

Breakfasts were the highlight: fresh fruit, and a healthy entree every day.

Both Tony & Monica do their utmost to meet your every need, from a scrumptious breakfast to a spotless room to tips on new restaurants.

Staff more occupied with cell phones than customers during breakfast and happy hour.

On a positive note, the breakfast was normally very good.

Breakfast here is some of the best in Savannah and they will accommodate to your wants/needs.

He always made sure the breakfast was specific to your needs.

The breakfast is delicious and quite inventive.

I had several excellent conversations with both Anna and Melinda about the history of Savannah and the inn.

Nice conversations with the other travelers trading stories and learning new places to eat or see!

The breakfast and conversation with other couples really made for a great stay.

One of the best parts was meeting guests from other countries and having great conversations.

Both were served with great conversation with Kathleen and the other guests.

She is the head chef, hostess and bottle washer and at the same time is able to create an atmosphere filled with light, fun conversation that you just don't want to end, much like your delicious breakfast entrée.

but amazing stories and conversation from Kathleen which makes you feel at home.

We can truly say that every breakfast was at a 5 Star level and Kathleen’s special Belgium Waffle recipe and home made whip topping was a memorable treat and a highpoint of conversation for all of the guests.

but we enjoyed great conversation and the company of several other couples there at the Inn during breakfast.

The breakfast was amazing and the conversation among the tables was lively and fun.

We loved how she interacted with guests and helped facilitate fun, lively breakfast conversation that we really enjoyed each morning.

Kathleen and I were able to have some intimate conversation.

Be prepared for the delicious breakfasts and great conversation with Kathleen and the other guests.

What convinced me was a lovely telephone conversation with Kathleen, who was so gracious and accommodating.

The room was filled with laughter, engaging conversation and a brightness that lasted the whole day.

The candles, the flowers and the classical music made a fabulous backdrop to the delicious food and pleasant conversation.

We really hit it off with Kathleen and enjoyed many hilarious conversations with her - we have certainly never laughed so much on any hotel stay!

The woman was unapologetic, and almost denied that we paid the deposit, until I forced them to search by the card number.

She then said "I might as well check you in now. I've been advised by other innkeepers to do that immediately in case somebody changes their mind so you at least have their credit card information."

To her credit Kathleen did apologize for a few things that happened - not the dog mind you.

but insisted that I just ask my friend for the money otherwise she would "be charged out the wazoo by the credit card company."

My credit card was charged $258.00 on March 2, 2012.

A few days later we found that she had charged our credit card for the entire stay

but still had the cheek to tell us she would have to charge us a processing fee.

but the manager was apologetic and removed the charge.

The location is great - very close to Forsyth Park.

I like it’s location near Forsyth Park.

Not only is the Inn a beautiful building, its in a perfect part of the historic district and close  to Forsyth Park, and many places to eat 10 minutes away.

It's in great proximity to Forsyth Park and the Dot which is free public transportation that can take you downtown where all the action is.

It's in a safe location close to Forsyth Park.

It is within easy walking distance to Forsyth Park and within blocks of the hop on hop off trolley.

The Inn is located close to Forsyth Park and close to tons of smalls shops!

The location is close to Forsyth Park and we ejoyed being able to walk to all areas of interest.

but close to Forsyth Park and within easy walking distance of the historic district.

The B&B is a few blocks away from Forsyth Park and within walking distance to the historic district.

The inn’s location is also very convenient and within walking distance to Forsyth Park and to the river.

It is close to Forsyth Park which is nice.

The Inn is very well located in all respects: close to Forsyth Park and to all of the places that a tourist would want to visit.

This was our first stay at this luxurious bed and breakfast near Forsyth Park in historic Savannah.

It's walking distance from Forsyth Park and many other attractions and landmarks.

The inn is only a couple of blocks from Forsyth park and within walking distance of many of Savannah's famous sites & a Kroger if you need to run to the store for anything.

even though we arrived later in the evening she recommended a great Irish pub (the Crystal Beer Palace) just around the block, which was still open at around 9, after a quick supper we headed back and turned down into a lovely warm bed with crisp, pressed sheets for a refreshing nights sleep; very welcome after a long day in the car.

She suggested the Crystal Beer Palace for our first night which was great..the Duck Wings were a hit.

We enjoyed a wide variety from the Crystal Beer Palace, to Elizabeth's and the Olde Pink House Restaurant.

Elizabeth's (very upscale)
was outstanding and the Crystal Beer Palace (fabulous local bar food with the best beer menu I've ever seen) were standouts.

We were greeted with luxuries that rival a King's palace.

Kathleen's breakfast reminded me of Sunday Brunch at Commander's Palace in New Orleans with the elegance of fine dining and the master chef creations.

Overall, this is a very nice bed-and-breakfast, well appointed rooms and a very comfortable bed.

Stayed in the Orleans room which was actually a one-bedroom apartment, clean, comfortable, and spacious!

Our room (the renaissance) was perfectly appointed, stunning charm, and immaculately clean and comfortable.

Nice main floor sitting room with cookies and port provided for a good night cap.

The rooms are elegant and properly accommodated.

Keyless entry for house and your room makes the stay very easy to access.

We just spent 4 nights here & it could not have been a better experience, between the room, service & location.

All that was left when I booked was a downstairs room.

We stayed in the Renaissance room and found it adequate in size and quite well decorated.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

We stayed in the Versailles room - it was spacious and clean.

There was lots of drawers in the room to store things

We stayed upstairs in the Renaissance Room; large king sized bed, clean, comfy and very quiet.

It is obvious in their breakfasts which were absolutely delicious,  treats (champagne,  cheese plate, cake and chocolate strawberries for New Years) and the cleanliness of the room.

Tony, the innkeeper was very rude upon arrival.

She said "Can you believe people could be so rude? No one has any class anymore."

Reading some of the other reviews stating that she is condescending and rude baffles me truly.

You must realize that some of her actions might seem rude and inappropriate,

the owner was very rude because we were early.

but my heart went out to Kathleen and I felt like I would have been rude had I not left any tip at all.

Downsides: Innkeeper makes rude comments about your spouse to you, is bossy, complains about the load she carries.

I have never met somebody so rude in my entire life.

Justine Inn is the place to stay while in Savannah.

This is the best B&B in Savannah of all I have been to after many years of visiting.

My sister and I stayed at the Justine Inn for a weekend trip to Savannah and we truly loved staying here.

The location is perfect for exploring Savannah and we would recommend if looking for a nice place with history and friendly service.

We have stayed at numerous places in Savannah and this has been our favorite.

We walked into the heart of Savannah, perhaps a mile or so..be prepared to walk this town so wear your most comfy shoes!

Savannah has tons of green space,  excellent restaurants and a lot of history.

My husband surprised me with a trip to Savannah, and booked this beautiful hotel for us plus 10 month old baby, for my birthday.

I absolutely loved the Justine Inn in Savannah, GA.

My best girlfriends from high school and I get together once a year for a girl’s trip and Savannah was our destination of choice recently.

I recently stayed at The Justine Inn for a girl's trip to Savannah.

If you have plans of visiting Savannah the Justine Inn is worth considering.

This was a lovely find in Savannah with real attention to detail.

You can park right across the street to unload.

We were fortunate in being able to have one of the two car park spaces at the rear of the house, otherwise street parking would have been easy enough.

First, despite the parking issue, you can find free street parking all around the area of the inn.

There was street parking available in the next block, though.

but we were able to find ample street parking even on a busy holiday weekend.

I had a full size rental car and I had no trouble parking in the Inn's rear parking area; one evening I parked on the street out front - no problem with parking at all.

We got lucky most of the time and were able to park across the street from the Inn.

One guest was made to feel uncomfortable because she had told Kathleen she would not be attending breakfast and showed up.

One reviewer complained of feeling uncomfortable about asking for extra servings because the Inn Keeper is not a big fan of waste.

but it did feel a little uncomfortable when we realized it was there.

We were made to feel very uncomfortable with most of Kathleen's conversations.

It was quite the uncomfortable commotion.

but ended up being awkward and uncomfortable, and we didn't feel safe in voicing our concerns directly to Kathleen.

The Innkeeper made me feel so uncomfortable during our stay.

I was uncomfortable, realizing she did not know I was there.

There were too many things that she is very picky about and it makes the stay uncomfortable.

My husband and I were a little uncomfortable with all the decorative touches and antique furniture - almost afraid to touch anything for fear we may damage it.

Good buffet, served by the fabulous Marcelino Boakche who was very welcoming in the main buffet.

Mayrani the chef is an amazing cook the beef was to die for would have it again starter was Mediterranean salad waiter was very helpful and polite dessert is delicious I would love to come to the Mediterranean restaurant again

We really enjoyed the food at the Italian Buffet theme.

One good experience was one concierge was able to get us a roll of medical tape at a late hour to wrap my partners foot due to a foot injury.

We can both be quite fussy and we pretty much always enjoyed the main buffet!

The buffet was really good, the Mediterranean restaurant was great, the Brazilian one could have had some more flavour!!

The themed restaurants are a great way to break up the monotony of eating at buffets.

Definitely would recommend sitting in his section at the buffet for morning / lunch.

They were doughy in the middle and inedible.

The a la carte restaurants are all delicious.

Food at the buffet's was mostly good, nothing great and every once in awhile you would come across a dud.

The room is spacious and clean, there was plenty of choice with regards food from the buffet restaurant to the snack bar to the free room service menu to the Al la carte restaurants.

If you want to eat anything before or after then, you’d be lucky to find any buffet open.

Our server at breakfast and lunch was Julio Chan, he is awesome.

In particular Marcelino Che and Marcel from the Tulum Breakfast Buffet offered the most exceptional service.

Jose oxte in the steak house buffet is an old friend since 2015 bustling about with his usual happy smile not a care in the world

Other 5* resorts we have stayed at in this area of Mexico have been like Buckingham Palace compared to here.

I cant say how much I appreciated his efforts and care for our table and everyone around him - The meal was exceptional, authentic, mexican had and having him as a waiter made the experience even that much better.

From freshly grilled meats, to sushi, to Mexican dishes - we also found something to enjoy.

And the mexican was ok, not terrific, I was really hoping for some amazing Mexican,

We ate at the Mexican restaurant which everyone thought it was okay.

Food - huge choice of variety and the meals we had out were fantastic, the best one was Mediterranean, our least favourite was the Thai and Mexican, I thought the Mexican would be more authentic given we were in Mexico.

Breakfast was brilliant; can’t fault it really it has a great selection and plenty of options (there are 3 places to eat breakfast) 

Lunch we tended to use the beach BBQ which is ok and has the same options everyday of Mexican tacos and salads and burgers (kids happy with this) 
Pizza to takeaway from Italian was very good!

Had better steaks, in Mexican,Italian and Mediterainean.

I would highly recommend the Mediterranean, Japanese and Brazilian restaurants, and advise you avoid the French and Mexican ones (note.

We especially enjoyed the Mediterranean and Mexican where we once again had exceptional service by Javier and Jeremiah.

We eat at the Mexican the Brazilian the Thai and the steak house as well.

We really enjoyed the Grease show and the Mexican folklore.

Great selection of traditional Mexican food.

We did the Mediterranean (absolutely delicious food), Steakhouse (excellent as well and servers so happy and joyful) and the Mexican (not very good, food was disappointing, even the Margaritas we ordered were not drinkable).

Lorena gets extra marks for toiling away under the hot Mexican sun, tray fully loaded at all times.

A la cartes

Ate at the Japanese, Mexican, steak house, italian, thai and Brazilian.

However the Italian, Mexican and Mediterranean food were amazing.

The Japanese and Brazilian we really enjoyed, the steak house wasn’t very nice and the Mexican we did on my bday night and considering this was their own cuisine we were very disappointed.

The shows vary from Broadway, Mexican, rock,  70s fever, grease etc which are very entertaining and very good (Alejandro from entertainment).

We have previously stayed on the Riviera Maya at Viva Wyndham Maya, Iberostar Quetzel and Riu Palace so feel we have a good idea of the hotels in the area.

We moved after the 1st week to RIU Palace, Mexico in Playacar it was like being in another world.

As a comparison I have stayed at Moon Palace in Cancun prior to this, and Grand Sirenis is above and beyond Moon Palace by far.

We organised to move hotels and moved to the moon palace in Cancun which was amazing - we had to pay a lot extra for this -

I'd previously stayed in the Moon Palace, Bahia Principe and Occidental Xcaret.

This year, we tried the Grand Sirenis because we already went to Iberostar Maya and Barcelo Palace Deluxe twice.

Our second time at the restaurant in our 14days here, amazing waiter Carlos & manager couldn’t have done enough for us.

The food at the italian restaurant was great!

Thai and Brazilian restaurants are a must - gorgeous food

The restaurant was great, the food came out lovely and quick and was full of flavour, reminded me of my time in Thailand.

There is only 2 things that could be improved the thai restaurant food was so good & tasty

Food was adequate, with a few surprise standouts -- arroz negro, pozole, and a lovely spinach soup at the Italian restaurant.

Activities for kids were ok.  Food average for an Hotel 5Stars charging more than 350Usd a room.

Staying at grand serenis at the moment..lovely hotel..can't fault a thing apart from the disregard from the staff about gluten free..I'm easy to please so long as I have something basic to eat..there is no allergy charts at the late night snack restaurant and because they make money on room service after 11pm they are only interested in that..the chef has told me everything has gluten in it and has shrugged his shoulders!

The pools also have hamburgers and hot dogs as well.

There was an unfortunate sewage smell sometimes,

You had to walk down a flight of stairs and through the lobby to go pee.

It is dirty, smells, and the workers are very incompetent.

Her and her friend were stuck in a nasty  room for over 7 hours before they finally moved them, after both her and I calling constantly.

The last two days there it got better and the smell was bearable

but it had a musty smell to it and is long overdue a refurb.

The room itself was so stuffy that the smell of mildew was overwhelming.

Also for some reason - each time we came back into our room, it always smelled like pee.

It has got to the point where we can’t even face walking into the restaurant because of the smell.
