Initially had a bad experience with no air conditioning and staff at reception that didn't careless about my complaints.

Air con was not functioning in the room and it was hot and stuffy.

The bathroom was terrible, the service to fix anything was terrible, 
The AC didn't work it was hot and terrible to sleep.

AC in the room did not work properly and kept making sounds all night.

We requested fans for each room as we were prepared for the heat.

There was no air conditioning in the room and the fan in the bathroom did not work.

We had to endure a balmy 79-80 degrees in the room throughout out entire stay (even at night, dropped to 78), was provided with a desk fan; despite 3 attempts requesting to have AC fixed at the registration desk, we eventually found out they can't fix it;

Rooms are tired and I and I had to change as shower was broken and air con did not work.

This time there was no air conditioning in the rooms (which we were not advised of at check in).

We also were given another room and that cooling system did not work.

The aircon was not working and the fan was not effective.

but not working, even though there was a fan it was pretty hot all night.

The room that we stayed in looked tired and the air conditioning was very weak.

No air-conditioning and no fridge, at this point I was too tired to complain again.

Our other son said that the air con in their room was poor

The rooms are dated in area with black on the tiles around the bath.

Ceiling shower not high enough for tall people.

but the bathroom dated and could do with modernisation.

Outdated, and a massive environmental water disaster (Faucet running, single use towels, no water stop on the toilets, old and outdated bathroom with rusty rods).

toilets clog and no one came to fix it when we called.

All the drawers either had missing or broken handles making them useless, the safe was broken and the bathroom in dire need of having some money invested in it with its broken and cracked tiles. .

although the price was acceptable for Central London  the rooms need updating badly especially the Bathroom .

The bathroom floor hasn’t seem a mop or hoover.

Something was spilled all over the toilet.

Hotel reception not responsive to requests to deal with repair in room - locked wash hand basin for duration of 4 day stay Slow to allocate room chosen and paid for ;had to wait in another room while issue was supposed to being resolved

Positive point good views Sadly here’s  the negatives Snarky check in with two members of staff looking at us and pointing of the computer screen with no communication to us at all all very strange Room basic only with poor toiletry facilities mini bar had wine in a tin Breakfast not good at all

I was disappointed we had to ask twice for a lightbulb to be replaced in the bathroom.

-completely OUTDATED; place is aged, needs serious upgrades throughout
-no fridge (mini fridge door was sealed off)
-no exhaust fan in bathroom, so bathroom steamed up when taking shower in addition to already having the balmy 79 degrees present
-Elevators are SOOO slow, had to wait up to 10 minutes to get from 7th floor to 1st floor, eventually discovered the freight elevator
-Breakfast was disappointing to say the least, thankfully our breakfast was included in the rate we paid;

We stayed at the tower hill hotel with a twin room and a bridge veiw and the staff were very friendly and the view  was out standing we will be planning to come back very soon was the best hotel I have ever stayed at !

Only thing which was nice was the comfortable beds and the full English breakfast.

Comfortable bed in a room that has seen better days.

He promptly stated that the bed would be redone.

We had a standard twin room which was spacious, clean and so comfortable.

Booked 2 twin bedded standard rooms on the 7th floor for a short sight seeing holiday with 2 young grand-children.

All the rooms were clean with nice bathrooms and fluffy towels.

The bed was very comfortable and air-conditioning was a blessing in the heat to walk into a cool room was excellent.

Call to reception and housekeeping arrived promptly to make up the sofa bed (she was friendly, polite and very helpful - wish I’d gotten her name).

Rooms were very quiet and comfortable beds.

Bed was large and most of all very comfortable.

My husband and I enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the comfortable bed and appreciated the air conditioning which was really efficient.

This was not the bed's fault - it was a lovely comfy bed with a mattress topper and my husband slept like a log.

The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, the bed was covered with a light quilt which was perfect for a good night sleep.

We had a super king bed which was very comfortable and we had a mini bar with beer & wine which was restocked on our 2nd day.

Fantastic weekend away,staff so friendly and helpful,free mini bar which was restocked each day and bed was so comfy.

My wife and I stayed 2x nights over a Sept weekend in a standard double room overlooking the St Katherine's dock at the back of the hotel.

We stayed in a 10th floor family room overlooking Tower Bridge and Thames and every morning as well as evening took our time to just stand an look.

We had a nice view from our room that overlooked the boats outside.

but did get Tower view room so that was a bonus.

We had a bridge room view which was absolutely amazing.

the double room overlooking the tower bridge is very nice.

We were all on the 8th floor and out of the 3 rooms 2 had views over St Katherine’s dock.

Location and surroundings were good, there was not far to transport/underground and not at least the view from the room, when you paid a little extra.

The location and view is great especially we have a bridge view room.

The Tower view rooms really do offer everything you'd hope for and the location of this hotel and the fact it provides reasonable parking made this a wonderful place to stay and explore the city on my wife's birthday.

Rooms are large and comfortable, and one of the rooms had a view of Tower bridge.

If you book a room that looks on to the river, the view is excellent.

At first sight this hotel looks amazing, with its lofty, airy lobby and the view, which is second to none!

The view was amazing, the room nice and big with comfortable beds.

We would always stop in there for a Strawberry Daiquiri wether we were staying or not because of this drink and also a very pleasant place to rest with the view of the tower bridge if your lucky enough to get a window seat especially the bay window table.

Views for days, booked a couple of nights to celebrate the start of a new year and enjoyed the view so much, the room was perfect and well equipped and covid was taken very seriously.

Booked direct on the phone, very helpful staff, arranged the room and the view with no hassle.

Had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel, the staff were all amazing, the room (suite)was clean and facilities were good, the view was breathtaking overlooking the yachts in st Katherine’s dock and the Canary Wharf/dock lands skyline.

It's a great location right next to Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London with a short walk to bus stops and the tube.

The positive for the Tower Hotel is its location right next to Tower Bridge and across the road from the Tower of London.

Tower of London was 10 minutes walk, and London Bridge just 5 minutes walk.

There is a nice walkway that goes in front of the Tower of London that closes at 8:30 pm.

Walk via the river front part of the Tower of London before 7pm and enjoy the icon view of The Tower Of London and the wild flowers as shown on TV.

You are sat on the edge of the River Thames and just a 2 minute walk from Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St. Katherine’s Dock (Marina) with its Bars & Restaurants, and many more attractions.

The hotel was ideally placed for my 2 days of sight staying with a short walk to the tube station and next door to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London.

It’s of course also close to the Tower of London, and Borough Market is also quite close by (walking across the bridge to the southern bank of the river it’s then about 15 minutes away).

Visiting With friends on a long weekend Fri To Mon , and both rooms on 7th floor , std queen , basic , clean , and as it’s described when you book .

Pleasant friendly staff clean and well maintained room very comfortable bed for a perfect night's sleep.

Our room was a king room and was bigger than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise.

The good is that the beds and pillows are comfortable and the pressure is good also do a decent shower is to be had.

The room was spacious, clean and adequate and the bed was comfortable.

The end result is that you go to bed hungry - in a Hilton!

but they came anyway to make the beds but not to provide clean glasses.

We stayed in a double king room deluxe and it was just stunning.

but it had everything you needed , was clean and the beds relatively comfortable.

A very short walk from Tower Hill underground, which is on the Kings Cross route.

The bed was very comfortable , as we were in an accessible room the bathroom was quite spacious with a  walk in shower.

The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the pillows!

The single bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have slept in for years, and i travel with business regularly.

I had a king size  room which overlooked the atrium.

That being said they were ‘clean stains’ and the bed was comfortable.

The only positives I can take from the hotel is the fact it’s a bed to stay in & the baggage man was the only person with manners he was so busy all day and worked very hard - he even gave us the complimentary cookies you get on arrival when checking out.

We booked the queen accessible room because they were cheaper than the other rooms.

Positive things about the hotel - it is large, spacious and very conveniently located close to tower hill tube station.

It’s a reasonably priced DoubleTree for London and very close to Tower Hill underground (turn right out of it).

The hotel is in an excellent location within a 5 minute walk of Tower Hill Tube station and 10 minute walk to two other tube stations.

It's a brilliant setting very close to Tower Hill tube station  would definitely stay again

Location was great, literally 2 mins from Tower Hill station, nearby a Wetherspoons, kfc, costa, street food by the tower bridge its great.

Fantastic service by Showmo and co at the double tree Hilton Tower Hill.

Good choice of hot and cold food and drinks. Very well situated for Tower Hill tube station (2 mins walk from the hotel)

The location is good - easy to find from the Tower Hill tube station and close to a lot of historical landmarks and good restaurants.

Resolving the issues took a considerable amount of time away from our short break and several phone calls once we got home.

You pick up the phone to get room service.

I’ll keep trying to call the concierge …

The phone and side unit were thick with dust.

but it was only after crying down the phone that someone appeared with my pill dispenser.

Never tried to call the front desk, not through any phone number, concierge, room service or any….

Hairdryer in room did not work and was more like a cell.

If your staying longer than a few days you may be better picking up a PAYG Mobile SIM with unlimited 4G, you will likely get much faster speed.

Tried to ring reception (no answer) and didn’t have time to wait in their enormous queues to report wobbly socket, I tried.

The service was bad, the rooms dirty, the housekeeping was lousy and if you try to call reception most of the time they won't even answer.

but no answer when you call them, again tried several times.

On the 18th Feb we was due to arrive due to storm eunce we could not get to London I call at 8am and was advised call at 10am when so they said send an email which was done nearly a week still no reply regarding a refund or a change of date. The.

This impression was reinforced by subsequent (unanswered) phone calls to the hotel to get a copy of my receipt.

The television channels were very limited and I couldn't connect my phone (I have a Google pixel).

We had to call Booking.Com who promptly and effeciently resolved the problem.

Hotel phone numbers not picking up pre-arrival.

Awful service - no one picks up phone, 45 minutes to check in, room had no tea and coffee just one bag of green tea, really really poor for price paid. Disgraceful.

Rooftop bar Savage Garden great views of London.

Negative things we experience this time - 
1. the rooftop bar seems to have been subcontracted out.

My wife and I didn’t stay at the hotel, we only went on two separate occasions to experience the rooftop bar (Savage Garden).

but not least is the Savage Garden rooftop bar, a must do when staying here or if in the area, do make reservation for the evenings on the weekend because it gets crowded but the view is absolutely worth it.

The rooftop bar that they advertise as an attraction does not open every night and when it does it’s not theirs to say if you can gain entry or not.

I booked on Booking.com because of the fantastic photos of the rooftop bar.

The rooftop bar has stunning views over the London skyline and well worth a visit especially at dusk.

Modern, stylish and great facilities inc the rooftop bar Savage Garden on 12th floor, the rooms are comfortable and quiet.

Savage Garden (roof top bar) - what can I say.

The rooftop bar is a go to just to see the views.

but even the bars that this hotel has especially the rooftop bar.

The rooftop bar is excellent, not cheap though at £14 a cocktail, that was my only gripe along with our room wasn’t cleaned and we never got clean towels

This was probably one of the best rooftop bars I have experienced since New York.

The Doubletree Tower of London was an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is ideally situated very close to the underground and a minute or two from the Tower of London.

This was our second stay in the same month would definitely recommend this hotel well situated for Tower of London and local attractions close to mainline tube station.

A big shout out to Holly and Amie and the rest of the team for making our stay at the Doubletree Hilton Tower of London such a fabulous event.

After looking at reviews for the Doubletree Tower of London, I thought it would be perfect for what I had in store for my vacation.

Great property, clean, conveniently located to the Tube, nearby restaurants, pubs and great view of the Tower of London.

Location is perfect, minutes away from the tube station, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, HMS Belfast, river cruises and the Shard and there are lovely walks along the river.

Double tree hotel London - Tower of London was excellent, check in and out was friendly and quick, people super friendly specially Yuri the concierge was very helpful and polite, breakfast buffet very good and the servers very nice, definitely will return.

The double tree Hilton Tower of London never disappoints.

The Tower of London is right across and London bridge is five minutes away.
