 - but the very notable single egg served in each case; I’m not sure whether this was due to the restaurant operating at close to capacity, or because we were dining on the Club rate, but either way this was poor.
 - There was a poor selection of soft drinks, many of which were locked up on the first day and there was a very poor selection of wines in the evening.
 - Some excellent aspects and also some very poor!
 - Very poor service.

 - Check in and check out was busy
 - Breakfast was quite busy and so service wasn't as fast as normal
 - but the incommunicative accompanying hotel staff member was too busy eating the photographed canapés to care what paying guests thought.
 - No omelette station at breakfast was a slight let down - chef was busy keeping buffet topped up.
 - even though it was not busy still took way too long.

 - Tea was nice we had the vanilla tea which was different for tea as even at the Shard they never had vanilla tea as an option.
 - Sooner stay here than the Shard.
 - The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in much better than the shard!
 - Really recommend this place, would also be a great date night place. Like going to the shard

 - Bed comfy, nice bathroom, super view.
 - The room was largely great (room 305) We had a bit of a fiddle trying to work out how to get music to play through the bathroom speaker and sussing out the lights, coffee machine etc,
 - I enjoyed a swim in the pool-the spa area was spotlessly clean (as was the rest of the hotel) and there was everything that one could possibly need in terms of towels, shampoo etc.
 - The bed was comfortable, the bathroom sparkling.
 - The bathroom was fantastic, quiet and exceptionally clean.
