 - but then I don't spend trips to London gazing out of a window.
 - button or light streaming under the door but here it is the actual window shutters.

 - The rooms are painfully small and bathrooms even more so.
 - Bathrooms are a little on the small side,
 - It's a REALLY small bathroom, which is not unexpected in Europe,
 - The bathroom was too small and had only a douche from above, (in contrast to the telephone type device which today is a common standard and much more practical).
 - Hour room had a very small bathroom which was the only negative experience with our stay.

 - Piccadilly, Regent Street, Oxford Street, Bond Street, Covent Garden etc.
 - but lovely at night as on the level of Jermyn Street Christmas lights.
 - Considering we were in the centre of London the noise at night from the nearby streets was quiet and the only real noise was the occasional emergency service vehicle and over excited drivers honking.
 - Very cosy street and neighbourhood.
 - Opposite fortnum and mason, easy walking distance to central London main streets and shops.

 - At £22 a head, it was poor quality.
 - however, I found the welcome to be extremely poor for a high end hotel.
 - The bathrooms water pressure for the showers is disappointingly low and the drainage taking water away from the showers is poor.
 - I was also shocked at how poor the breakfast has become - staff in disarray, no plates, poor selection of fruit - 3 apples on a plate one morning, no yoghurts.
 - but the replenishment of food in this area was poor at best.

 - The hotel is perfectly positioned for Mayfair, Piccadilly and both Oxford and Regent Street being close by and a fabulous area to work along Jermyn Street and peruse Fortnum and Mason.
 - I loved walking through the streets - the artisanal cheese shops and delicatessens, Fortnum and Mason, Oxford/Bond/Regent/Carnaby Street, the fascinating back streets filled with restaurants and pubs and interesting little shops.
 - The hotel is ideally placed, within short reach of many points of interest including Regent street, Piccadilly Circus, and Oxford street.
 - Green Park Tube station is a 5 minute walk and Oxford Street is also close by.

 - Visited on Saturday for an event and while the venue was full I was surprised that only 3 ladies toilets where available.
 - The shower was big and powerful
 - Despite this the room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom well equipped and appointed.
 - Expected a walk in shower.
 - Bedroom was a decent size with very good amenities.

 - The room was small
 - The room was small, not a lot of room and there was a funny smell in there.
 - Room was on the small side (delux double) and surprised that there weren't any drawers for underwear etc, just a couple of small shelves.
 - The hotel room is nothing like the images displayed on the booking profile - the room is small the furniture is chipped and it is generally tatty.
 - The room was small and the bathroom tiny and dark.

 - •One room boiling hot the other so cold my daughter had to wear her cardigan to bed.
 - oh and the white toast which had barely seen any heat was cold having been given to us 15 minutes before the food.
 - The first time we had breakfast, both the toast and scrambled eggs came out cold.
 - and the air condition created a very uncomfortable draft (my wife and two kids got a cold).
 - though the room was a bit cold and badly soundproofed the stay was excellent.
